"I'm never ever going running with you again." Jeremie said, trying to regain his breath.
"Come on, we ran just a kilometer." Odd said, not exhausted at all. "Okay, since you so easily agreed, I'm gonna let you stop."
Jeremie nodded, still trying to breath normally again.
"Seriously, why did you agree to go running in the first place?" Odd asked curiously.
"I needed a distraction." Jeremie said, laying down on the grass.
"From what?" "What should I do now when the supercomputer is offline? Die of boredom?" Jeremie asked. "That's why I went with you."
"So try doing something else." "Like?" Jeremie asked.
"Sports?" Jeremie shook his head. "Hm, you don't need to study. So...what about checking out girls?"
"I'm not you, Odd." Jeremie said. "I won't follow someone to just be with them."
"Sure, sure." Odd mocked. "Because that's the exact thing you've been doing with Aelita the moment she stepped onto this world."
Jeremie pushed himself up, looking at Odd.
"I wasn't." "Yeah, you did." Odd pulled out his phone. "See?"
He showed him the picture he took of them, making Jeremie blush.
"I do not want to know how you took that picture without me knowing." Jeremie said angrilly.
"Okay, sorry. No need to get aggresive." Odd put his hands up.

Jeremie left the bathroom after a quick shower, and was heading towards the cafeteria, only to be jumpscared by Aelita.
"Agh!" He screamed, when the girl suddenly appearead in front of him.
"Hi Jeremie." Aelita said, and smiled.
"Hey." "Where are you going?" The girl asked, as Jeremie was still drying his hair. "Let me help you."
Aelita grabbed the towel and started drying his hair, ruffling it all around. Jeremie was thankful that the towel was hiding his face, otherwise Aelita would see him blushing.
"There, all dry." She said, and gave him the towel back. "So, where are you going?"
"Trying to catch the dinner." Jeremie said. "Come with me if you want."
Aelita nodded, and they both began walking to the cafeteria, seeing almost everyone walking out since it was almost curfew. Jeremie liked going late since there was silence in the whole cafeteria.
They got inside, and put the food on their plates, and walked to the table in the back, which they all ate on every time.
"Where were you after the lessons anyway?" Jeremie asked. He didn't saw Aelita since the lessons ended for the day.
"Yumi took me out to the stores. She said that it would be good that she goes with me." Aelita said, rolling spaghetti onto the fork.
"And did you buy something?" "You'll see." She chuckled and playfully pointed at Jeremie with her fork, which was loaded up with spaghetti, before putting it into her mouth.
"Okay, okay." Jeremie giggled, and took a bite of the beef on his plate.
They both finished their meals in silence after that, since they were both pretty hungry without lunch earlier. After they finished, they put the plates away, seeing the cleaning lady already wiping the floor.
"Were you in your room already?" Jeremie asked, as they walked inside the dormitory.
"Yeah, I put some stuff there already, and tried to organize them, but failed." Aelita chuckled. "So I gave up and went to find you."
Jeremie nodded, and soon they were in front of Aelita's room.
"Aelita...good night." Jeremie said nervously, to which Aelita smiled.
"Good night to you too, Jeremie. See you in the morning!" Aelita said, and closed the door behind her.
Jeremie so badly wished he would say something to make her stay and talk to her a little more, but he decided against, letting the girl try to adapt to everything at her own pace.
He walked into his own room, a floor down, and threw himself on his bed. It was sure hard to keep everything from Aelita.
They were so open to each other when the screen divided them.
And Aelita still was...so how come he couldn't? Why couldn't he talk to her about anything now?
Leaving the thoughts alone, he stood up once more just to change and go to bed.
Suddenly, it striked him like a sword went through him. Jeremie was the one who wanted to go with Aelita to the shops, and Yumi knew that...why did she take her then?
Once he changed, the boy threw himself back on his bed, not even bothering to set his alarm; Ulrich will wake him up hopefully.
But even then he had a hard time sleeping. He looked at the clock beside his bed, seeing he was rolling back and forth for a good 3 hours...it was 1 in the morning.
But all his train of thoughts questioning his own sleepiness was interrupted by a simple soft knock on the door, probably by just a finger.
He stood up from his bed, unlocked the door, and opened the door.
"Did I wake you up?"
The pink-haired girl stood there, hugging her pillow. She was crying, seeing her eyes were red.
"No," Jeremie said. "Couldn't sleep."
"I had a nightmare."
Nightmares; the only thing no one can sleep through.
"Come in," Jeremie said, allowing the girl to walk inside his room. One thing was that he had a girl in his room all alone. The other was that she was probably going to sleep here.
Aelita sat down on his bed, and hugged her pillow even more. She was looking at him with a desperate look.
"You can sleep here." Jeremie said, making Aelita smile.
"Thank you." The girl softly said.
"What was the nightmare about?" Jeremie asked, sitting down on the bed, but some distance between them was present.
"Some kind of wolf was following me...and then it...well, it snapped my neck."
Aelita was scared; she just didn't know how to show it. What was Jeremie supposed to do to not make her cry now?
"Can I...hug you?" Jeremie shyly asked, looking at her.
Aelita nodded. It was a mystery to her why he was so shy all the time. She made it clear that they had a close friendship; at least she hoped.
Aelita scooted over to her friend, calmly waiting for Jeremie to hug her. Soon, his stiff arms were around her torso, moving her even closer.
She wanted Jeremie's touch really much, and she didn't even knew it until she got it.
"BELPOIS!" They both heard from the other side of the door. Without anymore thinking, Aelita slid under his blanket, while Jeremie sat down, and looked behind, making sure Aelita wasn't exposed.
The door opened, revealing Jim.
"Yes, Jim?" Jeremie said, trying to act casual as always.
"I heard a girl here, but that must've been somewhere else." Jim said, walking out. "There's no way you could pull a girl."
"Mhm." "Probably Della Robia has a girl in his room." Jim said, and without any apology he closed the door, and was heard stomping towards Odd's and Ulrich's room.
Aelita soon began giggling, as she lifted the covers off her. Jeremie looked at her, confused.
"What's funny?" Jeremie asked.
"Nothing, it's just...you pulled a girl into your room." Aelita said, uncovering her head from the blanket. "Me!"
Jeremie quickly turned his head around, to make sure Aelita couldn't see him blushing, even though it was pitch dark in the room.
"Okay, we should try to get some sleep." Aelita said, and let go of the blanket slightly. "Of course it's your bed."
"R-Right." Jeremie wasn't even thinking of sleeping next to Aelita, but when she said that...it made him think about it again. The worst thing was that someone could find them sleeping on the same bed, and even though they were just 12, it could have been seen wrongly.
"Night, Jeremie." Aelita said, yawning afterwards. Jeremie laid beside her, but keeping a space between them. Even though Aelita let go of the blanket, he put it carefully onto her to keep her warm during the night.
"Sweet dreams, Aelita." Jeremie said, not waiting for a response since the girl was already fast asleep, snuggled into the blanket.
He slowly closed his eyes and fell asleep, with Aelita's soft breathing calming him down.

"My question is still the same though." Odd said, while he was brushing his hair in the bathroom. "How did Jim knew that I had someone there?"
"Maybe because you were laughing like crazy?" Ulrich said. "Not to mention it was 1 in the morning."
Odd scoffed, like Ulrich was lying.
"Yeah, right." Odd said. "Anyway, where's Einstein?"
"Don't know. He's probably asleep." Ulrich said, walking out of the bathrrom. "Bring Kiwi, we are going to wake that boy up."
Odd didn't even agrred, and suddenly he had the dog right next to his feet. They all walked towards Jeremie's room, and without knocking barged in. First suprise was that he wasn't sitting at the computer. And second was...
"Holy shit." Odd whispered, holding Kiwi so he wouldn't bark. "Look." Ulrich turned around, and looked at the bed.
In there was Aelita, laying on top of Jeremie, the blanket covering them both.
