Chapter 720 Return of Fire Fist

At the Soul Society Soifon was walking around her division with Rekka in her arms as Kira was behind her.

"Your doing good Soifon, it's not easy in the start, but once you get the hang of it, taking care of Rekka will be easy." Kira said.

"O-okay." Soifon said.

She didn't like that Kira treats her without her title of Captain.

She treats me as a member of her family. Soifon thinks to herself.

She then looks at Rekka and smiles seeing his happy face, it felt right being with him.

Rekka holds on to his mother and Soifon is happy seeing that.

"Also... Kira, what happened to your husband?" Soifon asked.

"Oh my husband, well let's say he has a very important job that made him travel around the world, he didn't mean to leave our family but he had dangerous enemies and only wanted to protect our son." Kira looks up with a smile.

Soifon stares at her, who could Aka's father be for her to see him as a big hero.

At 8th Division

Whitebeard was having a drink with Kyoraku and he said:"Well Newgate, it seems you been doing well."

"Of course, it's been like my old crew." He smiles.

"And you got one of them here." Kyoraku said.

"Hey can you stop sleeping all the time!" They looked.

They saw Nanao walking to the newest member of the Division who is wearing the bottom half but was shirtless and was wearing a familiar hat.

"Huh?" He looks at her revealing that he is Ace, Luffy's brother. "Come on Nanao, don't need to be such a stiff."

"We have a serious job and your just slacking around." Nanao said.

Ace was found in this world and was wondering around until a few Shinigami found him, Ace went to a fight with them and managed to defeat that group by himself, Whitebeard sensed Ace's reiatsu and took him to the Soul Society and with some time became a member of the same Division Whitebeard is in.

Ace has proven himself to be a strong fighter and he and Whitebeard have gained something from they're times when they were alive.

Ace gets up and said: "Well i'm going to get something to eat." He goes out.

"Hey!" She goes after him.

The two chuckled and Whitebeard said: "She might say she doesn't like him, but I can see a friendship between those two."

Nanao goes after Ace and thinks to herself. Why did I have to work with this guy, I know he's strong, but he's lazy and sleeps a lot while eating. Just the fact people think he can be a co vice captain makes me mad.

She then bumps into someone and saw some guys from the other divisions.

"Hey watch where your going!" One of them said.

"Hey, I wasn't just standing there." She said.

"Oh yeah, I don't like some girl that thinks she's better than us because she's a vice captain."

They went around her and she got worried.

"I think we can be better if we defeat her." One of the others said.

But then the leader had his arm grabbed by someone, he grunts making them look to see Ace glaring at the guy.

"How about you pick on someone your own size." Ace said.

The leader backs away. "Oh yeah." He takes out his sword to slash at Ace but then it goes through him as Ace's body was made of fire shocking them.

Ace smirks. "Looks like I still have some of my old powers."

Whitebeard and Ace had they're powers when they had the Devil fruits, making them a force to be reckon with in the Soul Society.

He lifts a finger up with fire coming out before pointing at them. "Higan!" He shoots fire bullets knocking them down and they grunted.

"Well too bad." Ace shrugs and walks foward.

Nanao stares at Ace. "You... Saved me?"

He looks at her. "Yeah, I know your bossy and all that, but we're in the same Division so we're nakama."

"Nakama." She said.

"Yeah, so it's natural I would back you up." He said.

She smiles at Ace, she goes with him since it was better to be with her own Division.

Rangiku and Toshiro passed by and saw the two.

"Well it seems Nanao is getting along with Ace." Rangiku said.

"I'm surprised she would be hanging out with him." Toshiro said.

Everyone in the Soul Society knew about Ace as the guy that when he arrived managed to take down many soldier Shinigami and didn't have a single scratch before getting recruited.

They saw his potential and he was pretty impressive since he could be vice captain in the future.

"I wonder what made her be closer?" Toshiro said.

Rifana passes by. "Hi Captain Hitsugaya." She waves at him.

He frowns and Rangiku chuckles. "She likes you."

"Oh shut up." He said.

With Isane

She was walking by and she noticed someone outside of the Soul Society.

She goes towards the person and saw Recorder.

"Wait, aren't you..." She said.

She knew of him being one of Team Light's members, the newest one to be exact.

He looks at her and said: "We are Recorder."

"Yes, I heard about you, why are you doing here?" She asked.

"We came to see the Soul Society more, to see how different it is compared to other afterlives." He said.

"I see." She said.

He stares at her. "Do you want to prove something?"

She got surprised. "Well, I'm just trying to show I can be useful in battle."

"We see, we also wish to become more." He said.

She got curious to what he meant, Recorder isn't like anyone she met.

"We wish to see more about you." He said.

She got surprised. "Oh, I see." She got nervous.

Isane goes with him and wonders what Recorder wants to be, since he isn't happy about something.

Is there something missing about him? She thinks.

With Shiro

He was sitting at a couch with someone at his side.

"So how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Oh I'm fine." She said.

The woman next to him is Riruka Dokugamine.

Shiro found her all alone since after her group got disbanded she was all alone so he took pitty and took her with him.

"So where are your friends going?" She asked.

"They said they're visiting a world we went before coming back, it seems they had to be sure there." Shiro said.

He pats her head and said: "I can tell you can be a good person too."

She blushes with the way he's treating her. "Dummy!" She pushes him and he chuckles.

Riruka looks away but smiles a bit since this felt nice.

Note: Ace is in the Soul Society and became a Shinigami, what his zanpakuto is will be revealed later and he and Whitebeard still have they're devil fruit abilities even after death since they're souls got attached to the powers, Riruka is with Shiro and many things happened.
