Toshinori Yagi took a handful of painkiller pills and shakily shoved them into his mouth and swallowed them down his gullet.
The pain from using his Quirk is enough to make him spend entire nights at a time sweating and squirming from the agony his injury brought.
Its been over half a year since All For One was taken down, killed by Toshinoris own fists, and though he won in the end he finds himself often wondering if it was worth it. He lost his entire stomach and the time he can sustain his muscle form was cut down significantly, if he were any lesser being then he'd already be dead.
The painkillers took effect and the crater in his stomach lessened in pain greatly, though still not gone, he wondered about how he looks now. The surgeries have turned him into a skeleton, a shell of his former self, even if he can still do hero work the feeling of pain never really seems to go away.
He shook his head. There's no use dwelling on the past, he can only look forwar-
'Ring, Ring, Ring'
His phone suddenly run from the desk which he decided to sit in, to regain his wind after a handful of hours of herowork in his current state, so he picked up and answered his phone.
"All Might, you need to come drop by Musutafu, there's something that you need to see."
Hearing Tsukauchis tone of voice Toshinori gained a confused expression." What is it?" He couldn't help but ask in curiosity.
Tsukauchi sighed on the other end of his phone." It'd be best if we talked about this face to face, just in case the line isn't secure."
Now that got the blonde hero's attention. Tsukauchi isn't generally one who is easily spooked, the man is monotone in his demeanor most of the time, so what has his detective friend so spooked?
Still Toshinori could use a break given his body's condition, maybe visiting a friend will help keep his mind off his currently declining health.
"Alright I'll head over ASAP."
Nothing could have prepared the worlds number one hero for what he was going to discuss.
Walking into the Musutafu police station Toshinori allowed himself to enjoy the peace and quiet of simply being able to go out and visit a friend without the media or crazy fans clinging to him.
Still though he was here for a reason, what that reason was he wasn't quite sure of, and he couldn't lose track of what business he had with his friend.
Walking into the police station he was met with the sight of his friend Tsukauchi waiting for him at the entrance of the building.
Seeing the blonde man Tsukauchi let a small smile grace his lips as they greeted each other." We need to discuss a case I've been given privately."
Toshinori didn't exactly see the point of such caution, what could be so important that Tsukauchi would resort to such measures to keep the case under wraps, but ultimately complied and he found himself in Tsukauchis office with the blinds shut.
"What did you call me here for, Tsukauchi?" Not that the symbol of peace hated the company but obviously something big is going on that he doesn't know about, he'd really like an answer right about now.
Tsukauchi sat down and passed Toshinori a case file before his expression became grim." Alright Toshi, I honestly don't know if telling you about this file is the right move, but ultimately you deserve to know what's happened." Toshi didn't like the tone of Tsukauchis voice, it sounded like he was diagnosing a cancer patient.
Opening the file Toshi looked over the details, it was a bad crime, three teenagers and one teacher sent to the hospital is never good, but he didn't see anything special or particularly interesting about the case.
Seeing that his friend was reading the file Tsukauchi allowed himself to finally elaborate on the reason that he called his friend here." Three months ago, four people in a school were attacked and had their legs badly broken, the victims were actually beaten into comas by the perpetrator. The one responsible was only identified once the victims woke up, he was a student in the same school that the kids went to, Ryoto Saito, a teen who, by the words of his teachers, was a student who always started fights and was a trouble maker."
Toshinori did feel angry that four people were injured because of a teens actions, however he still didn't understand why this was all relevant to him.
Tsukauchi looked seriously gravely at All Might." However after waking up and identifying the one who attacked the victims weren't able to activate their Quirks. We believe that their Quirks have been stolen."
At that last sentence Toshinori felt a cascade of dread his- well not stomach but he felt a lot of terror at the implications. If All For One was still alive, if he was-
"It wasn't All For Ones doing, Toshi. We believe that the one responsible for stealing their Quirks is the student who attacked them."
After taking a moment to find an image on his computer Tsukauchi turned his PC's screen to his blonde friend. The computer had an image of a white haired teenager with blood red eyes and whilst this young man didn't look exactly like the Quirk stealing supervillain he looked close enough that the resemblance was definitely there.
"This-" Tsukauchi pointed to the boy on screen"- is Ryoto Saito. His files say that he is Quirkless however he definitely is not given that he swatted a hero who went after him away as though they were a fly."
He payed rapt attention as the screen changed into a video of a hat wearing teenager with black hair walking down the street with a girl, maybe two or three years older than him, and quick as a flash he creates a barrier that blocks the kick of a hero, when the hero tries to take hin down he merely holds out his hand and summons a massive tornado that blew whatever hero that was unlucky enough to cross paths with him away.
The video pauses on a blurry image of the young man's face. A match to the boy in the file
Tsukauchi allowed for a moment of silence before he resumed the topic of conversation." The boy displayed the use of multiple Quirks, one of the Quirks which he used to create a barrier of air was 'Airwall' his former classmates Quirk. We are dealing with a second individual with a Quirk that can steal Quirks."
Toshinori let cold sweat drip down his forehead as his breath hitched and got caught in his throat. A second All For One?! He barely managed to defeat the first one, if this second one is allowed time to grow then-
"Where is he?!" Toshinori asked hastily, feeling a need to find this possible second supervillain. That cursed Quirk shouldn't exist, if they don't deal with it now then it'll be too late.
Tsukauchi shook his head." We don't know, apparently he's smart enough to hide his face from the public and remain hidden, for the time being anyway, we can't locate him, trying to find him is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack."
That did not help the symbol of peace cool his nerves. Somethings not right here, why would a teenager suddenly want to become a supervillain?
Toshinoris eyes narrowed." Why is he doing this? Does he have a reason for going down this path?" Toshinori doesn't know why he's asking this, the boy could be just like All For One for all he knows, All For One was a being of pure evil, the man didn't even give a reason or try to justify his actions, it was as though he were proud of being the biggest supervillain in history. But something in his gut is telling him that this kid is different.
Tsukauchi looks down, rather shamefully which grabbed Toshis attention." The boy had a Foster mother, one day she died in a villain attack because of the reckless actions of a hero. The HSPC demanded that I not make a hero look responsible in a case file and... I did as I was told. The kid saw right through it and basically broke down, he kept on asking me 'why aren't you giving real justice?' And in the end I left him alone." Tsukauchi looked ashamed of his actions by the end of his explanation.
Toshinori now looked at the boys actions and they suddenly made marginally more sense. This is likely his way of serving his own idea of justice, of getting back at the society that rejected him. Still-
"Have any other civilians lost their Quirks?" Toshinori asked with worry for the civilians safety from this Ryoto boy.
Tsukauchi shook his head." No, none have been reported to have lost the use of their Quirks, but then again that's not to say he hasn't taken anymore, because none of his victims had a Quirk that let's them create tornados with their hands. He's definitely got more Quirks, even if the source is unknown."
Toshinori frowned at the idea of this new Quirk stealer getting stronger at a rapid pace whilst he got weaker." What about the hero who caused the death of his mother? Has he faced the consequences of his actions?" Brcause personally Toshinori would be having more than a few words with them at this point.
At the question Tsukauchi shifted in his seat uncomfortably." Whilst we haven't punished him... he's already payed."
Toshinori was confused at the answer before Tsukauchi sighed and elaborated." He's dead. He was found right next to his home as nothing but a flattened stain on the ground." Tsukauchis face was morbid as he spoke of what was found and Toshinori was horrified.
This boy needs to be stopped. Whilst Toshinori can't deny that he feels sympathy for the boy, Ryotos pain is clearly hurting other people, if he's allowed to continue his rampage then it won't end.
Toshi will stop a second All For One. He will do his duty as the wielder of One For All.
All For One did his best to endure the pain and agony of his current medical condition.
He's never hated a user of One For All as much as he hates All Might. No he's never hated a person as much as he hates All Might. The raw unbridled hate that he feels towards that blonde fool could burn the world to ash.
He's been reduced to a shadow of his former self with his head slowly healing, though he doubts he'll ever live without life support again. The healing procedure is a slow, painful and uncomfortable one because of his lack of mobility. He can't use too many of his Quirks at once- no scratch that- he can't even hold too many of his Quirks at once, that's just how unstable his body is, one wrong move and he'll meet his maker.
He holds a Quirk that stops pain that would be delightful right now however using multiple Quirks at a time is a risky move, no, if he wants to give himself the best odds of survival then he needs to focus entirely on healing his damaged head.
Normally, as the bodies most important nerve centre, losing your brain would mean instant death for a person, however he held a Quirk that allowed him to transfer his consciousness throughout his bodies nervous system, this gave him enough time for Kurogiri to take his body back to the doctors laboratory and save his soul from passing on.
He would never be as strong as he was before, this he knows. However this dying husk will only be his body long enough for Tomura to mature into his proper vessel, then he'd transfer to his body and use that passion for hatred to steal One For All. He must only endure for years longer. Considering that he's over a century in age that isn't an inconsiderate amount of time. He just needs to endure for now.
Suddenly one of his sensory Quirks went off in his mind and he became acutely aware that he was not alone. And the visitor wasn't someone he knew.
Whilst his head had grown back he wasn't at full strength- no he was beyond weakened at this point, facing someone now would be a bad idea.
"Ahhh, the demon lord All For One, reduced to this."
Hearing those mocking words with the use of one of his Quirks All For One was about to activate one of his Quirks to strike this fool down when-
Suddenly all his sensory Quirks were turned off and all he felt was red hot pain all over his body.
It was so bad that he would have screamed his throat hoarse if he even had the capacity for such a thing in his bodies current state.
Not minding the screaming, headless corpse in the room the figure used a Quirk to shape the ground into a table and took a seat as he kept the Quirk 'Erasure' active in order to make sure that the Quirk stealing overlord would die, since without the Quirks in his body he's but a headless corpse.
All For One stopped screaming and started to suffocate as the life support systems next to where he sat went haywire, the use of a Quirk that cancels out electronics, and he fell out of his seat to start convulsing on the ground.
The one opposite All For One didn't flinch at the moves and just kept on staring at the supervillain, using Erasure the entire time, before he finally let the Quirk down and grabbed the faceless villains head.
When I grabbed the headless villain and activated my Quirk the world around me seemed to morph and change shape until it resembled a path of concrete above the abyss of nothingness which was the dimension in which All For One and One For All resided.
"My, my, my. How very interesting." Hearing a familiar soothingly eerie voice behind me I turn around, remaining unfazed by the sight of All For One, his head looking like a potato even in this realm.
Izuku and the vestiges appeared in this place multiple times in the anime, when Tomura tried to take One For All he came here, he ultimately failed but he came scarily close. Are we going to battle it our for our Quirks?
"All For One." I respond evenly, he's still recovering from his battle with All Might and he only has a dozen or so Quirks on him for some reason, in terms in quantity I outdo him.
We lock... well not eyes but you know what I mean and he speaks, going on one of his famous evil monologues." Who might you be? You aren't Toshis successor that's for sure. That oaf won't be too keen on passing his power on so quickly. So who are you?" He speaks with an evil grin on his mashed up face.
I smirked at the question." I'm the one who's going to take your Quirks and put an aging dog down." My words seem to sour his mood given that his smirk immediately vanishes and the dimension around us literally stills at my words. Oh I pissed him off didn't I?
Cracks started appearing in the world around us and a wave of destruction started to head my way.
I'm not sure how to defend so my response is to hold my arms out and mentally yell push him back.
Weird thing is, it worked.
A wave of destruction that easily started to overpower his took shape and I sent it his way. Seeing his attack get so easily swatted away and that he was in danger he clicked his tongue and held out his hand with his palm glowing red.
Copying his action I held out the hole in my own right hand and rays of red aura suddenly shot out of both of our palms with us each trying desperately to overpower each other.
Seeing my palm All For One actually looked surprised and then enraged seeing someone with the same Quirk as him.
"Who are you?!" He yelled in rage and confusion seeing some boy holding his power and my response is a grin and my next words decide the fight.
"I am this society's end." Suddenly the light in my hand builds up and up before and explosion of red light destroys the entire landmass that we were standing on and beyond as nothing but light overtook my vision either the last thing I heard being All For Ones desperate screams at the bitter taste of death and defeat.
"You can't get rid of me that easily! If you think I'm gone forever then you better be prepared to-
Snapping back into the real world my sight becomes clouded with dots as I have to grab something to stop myself from losing balance.
Looking below me I see All For Ones corpse, using several Hearing Quirks I can hear that the suited man's heart has stopped but just to be safe-
I activate 'Cremation' and allow blue flames to cover my hands before letting the brilliant azure blaze reduce All For One into nothing but a pile of ash.
Certain that he is indeed dead I take a second to look through all of the Quirks that are were inside All For One. I was disappointed, by my estimates he must have collected thousands of Quirks over his lifetime and yet I only managed to take a dozen or .
Air Cannon, Super Regeneration, Radio Waves, Rivet Stabs, Air Walk, Black Whip, Thermal Vision, Psyguard, Empath, Lifeforce, Forced Quirk Activation, and Storage.
They were all useful Quirks however I was expecting a far bigger haul than that. Oh well.
"Master All For-" Oh how did that mist man get in here?
Quickly weighing in the pros and cons of the situation I made the easy decision to steal his warping Quirk, with it being far more effective than the ooze warp Quirk that's currently in Shoukos capable hands.
Reacting superhumanly fast I quickly activated 'Limb Elongation' and grabbed Kurogiri by the face and that familiar red aura quickly surrounded us both as I stole 'Warp Gate'.
What a strange Quirk it is, almost like a hybrid Quirk. A Warping Quirk as the base, a Quirk that locks onto the coordinates of a location in the world and finally a Quirk that creates clouds which act as the material used for creating the gates. A brilliant Quirk. It's so beautiful I could cry.
Locking onto the location of one of my various bases scattered across the city I used 'Warp Gate' and a misty portal opened in front of me.
Blood drips down onto the floor in front of me, ah so a bloody nose is the cost of this power. I am definitely going to be messing around like a little boy who got a new toy later with so many amazing new Quirks in my collection!
Controlling my inner child I stepped into the portal created by my new Quirk and vanished to begin the next phase of my plans.
But first I must build up my forces. After all what's a general without an army?
