Chapter 906 Steve's past

Hank stares at the mutated Annette as she roars at him.
Hank dodges her claw as he uses the force to push her back but he recovered and roars at him.
He jumps around avoiding her attacks. "I gotta avoid her attacks, who knows what might happen if i'm hit."
She swings her claw arm as she hits the walls and lockers inside of the room to try and hit him.
Hank rolls down to the ground as he takes out his gun to shoot at her as the mutant grunts.
"Hank!" Claire came with the others and they saw Annette as she looks at them while roaring.
"Annette?" Claire was shocked to see her.
She goes towards them but Zack takes out his rifle and shoots her back making Annette fall down the hole.
They went to the hole and Elza said: "What was that?!"
"That was Annette Birkin!" Hank said.
"But how?! She's dead, she got killed by her mutated husband and how did she survive the explosion?!" Victor said.
Leonidas thinks. "Wait... The G-Virus, when she got stabbed by William his cells went inside of her making Annette get infected and because of that made her mutate too. But his cells got adapted inside of her making Annette have a stronger body even if she's only in the first stage."
"You mean to tell me because William blew up, his wife was able to adapt to the explosion of the city!" Shiro said.
"Yes, it's crazy but seeing how much it mutated William, it could mean that because they were donated from another host the cells adapted through her body making Annette be even stronger than William." Leonidas said.
"This is not good." Claire holds her head.
"How are we supposed to take her down. She survived a explosion of city and the explosion of the lab." Zack said.
"We'll find a way. Until then we must be careful, she's a threat that could appear anytime." Leonidas said.
They went out and arrived at a elevator that took them up.
They arrived at the army base as a gulp worm came out of the ground.
"Another worm!" Zack said.
It goes to attack but they jumped to the sides as it goes back down.
"To the base!" Elza said and they ran inside.
They went foward and went to a locker room and they saw a few zombies without clothes making Victor shoot them down.
"That is one thing I did not want to see!" Victor said.
Zack checks around the place and opens a locker. "Hey Keycard." He takes one out.
"That's good, we need that." Claire said.
"We know a place to go." Elza said.
They went out and opened a gate before they went down a hall.
"So what made you get arrested?" Shiro asked Elza.
"I was just trying to do a stunt but those Umbrella guys didn't like me in they're land, they didn't even put a gate, I was stuck here until Claire came and we escaped until we found you guys." Elza said. "So what's your story?"
"Why are you curious?" He said.
"Come on, tell me." She pulls on his arm.
"I think she likes him." Victor whispers to Zack and he nodded.
They went inside a room with a vending machine as they looked around.
Claire saw a bottle of hemostic taking it.
"What did you find?" Hank asked.
"A bottle of medication, I know a place we can go next." She said.
They heard a alarm making a shutter behind them close the door.
"Are you kidding me?!" Victor said.
"Welcome friends." They heard Alfred. "Consider the area you are in a special...playground I have prepared just for you. Please try and keep me amused, and do not disappoint me by dying too soon. I so want to enjoy this."
"I'll shoot his ass!" Victor said.
"Don't worry we'll get him." Zack said.
They went through the door and saw a warehouse.
Claire looks down at the floor next to the railing and saw machine guns.
"Hey how about these?" She shows it to them.
"Machine guns, that will make him happy." Hank said.
They heard a gate open next to them and they saw a creature come out looking at them that only has one arm, this is the Bandersnatch.
"What the?" Elza said.
It sends it's stretchy arm at them making the group dodge it before it hits some of them down.
"Okay take this!" Victor shoots at it making the creature grunt before they all opened fire making it scream.
It swings it's arm again hitting Elza before Shiro charged foward slashing it's head off.
"Nice swing Shiro." Elza said.
"Thanks." He said.
They went down to get to a crate that has the ammo, they heard sound as another Bandersnatch came and hits them down before grabbing Claire as she grunts.
Steve busts out of window and shoots at it making it let go of Claire before Hank takes out a Grenade launcher blasting it down.
"Damn, but looks like you guys needed me." Steve chuckles and Claire saw the lugers.
"Whatever. Here, take these." Claire said handing the submachine guns to Steve.
"Machine guns? For me?!" Steve added.
Claire nodded. "You know the deal, in exchange for your lugers."
Steve laughed. "Hahaha! Ok! Ok!"
The two exchanged the lugers for the submachine guns.
"Hahaha! This thing is too cool! Yes!" He said as he aimed them around. "Now this is my kind of weapon! All right!"
He tries to shoot but he only heard the click.. "Huh? Hey...this thing's empty!" He continued as the group started to laugh. "You cheated me!"
"Don't be a baby theres ammo up there." Zack points at the crate.
"Up there?" Steve said.
"Yes." Victor jumped up and throws it at Steve. "Better?"
"Yes much better." Steve said.
The floor started to move down surprising them.
"Now that your knight has made his appearance, he can join you in your descent into death." Alfred said.
They went down and Steve said: "Well times to test out my new toys."
"Just don't shoot yourself in the eye." Leonidas said.
Steve goes out and starts to fight zombies as he goes foward.
The others followed and after he killed some zombies they arrived at a elevator.
"It was dirty work! But this area is now clean!" Steve said.
"Well nice work but don't get a big head, we need to work together to get the Hell out of here." Victor said.
"Whatever." Steve said as he goes to the elevator.
They arrived at a garage for the facility as they went foward before the floor gave in making them fall.
"Ow!" Zack said.
Hank looks at Claire to see her okay.
Leonidas saw someone behind Steve. "Steve behind you!"
Steve points his guns as a fat zombie came up but the moment he saw his face he got shocked.
"No..." He backs away.
"What's wrong Steve?! Shoot him!" Claire said.
Steve shook his head. "Wait! I...I can't!" He cried. "NOOO!"
The zombie goes towards Victor as he raises his hands to push him back as it tries to bite him.
"FATHEEER!" Steve shoots against the zombie shooting it with everything he got before falls down and died.
The got surprised to hear what he called him.
"Father?" Victor said.
Steve falls to his knees. "Father...father... Father!"
After they gave him time to recover he talked to them.
"Dad...used to work for Umbrella. He tried to steal information, intending to sell it off to the highest bidder. He was caught, mom was killed, and we were sent here." Steve explained.
They felt bad for him and Victor puts a hand on his shoulder. "I understand how you feel... I lost my dad a long time ago."
Steve thought about it.
The group gave Steve some time to recover from this event as they continued through the base.
Note: Here's the fight with Annette and the reason how she survived, Steve came and they learned of his past.
