Jo is stirring a pot while Tegan is trying to find candles. "So, Tegan please tell me a little about Nyssa."

"She is from the planet Traken, incredibly smart with science and technology. She has telepathic abilities. That is why she has been able to visit me in my dreams. Was an only child."

"Was?"

"She's the last one. I have heard how the Doctor was when they thought they were the last of their kind went to see Nyssa to get help."

"What did Nyssa do?"

"She traveled with the Doctor, Adric and I. We shared a bedroom at times. Nyssa had the occasional nightmare, so I would go get some tea and tell her stories about earth."

"Is that when you fell for her?"

"No, it was when she made a face when she fell into a body of water after we saw the Doctor regenerate. You can say I was in denial for years, most of which is due to internalized homophobia. You know how it was then. I was growing up in the late 60s and early 70s."

"You were, but now look at you. I remember how bad it was. Cliff and I walked in many marches across the world. Tell me more, what attracted you to Nyssa."

"Nyssa is gorgeous and smart. What else could a woman want?"

"The woman in your arms."

"I more than want that, Jo. I need it."

"Well, we are working on it. Just you wait with everyone."

"Not everyone," Jo smiles, turning back to stir the pot again because Tegan doesn't realize that some are coming in on Saturdays to help work on it.

"Tell me something more about Nyssa."

"She is working on her end on how to get here."

"So there are people in multiple places trying to figure it out. Have you decided if you will take her to Australia?"

"I have not. She may have to stay here until UNIT makes sure nothing is wrong. Though with the wedding that is in the works, who knows when we will get back."

"Ace and Graham's?"

"Ace already told me that I am her maid of honor and expects her to be my matron of honor when I get married to Nyssa."

Jo laughs as the door opens to two people softly talking. "Tegan, are you here? Kate said she sent you on a special mission." Ace enters the kitchen followed by Graham. She takes in the site, table set for two. "What is all of this?"

"You two need some time to yourself. I will be staying with Jo tonight."

"No need to worry about her Ace, she will be well distracted. My great grandchildren are coming by. She will be well knackered for bed."

"She just needs good sleep. I need my maid of honor tomorrow."

"Why?"

"If you are free, Graham and I decided to start planning again, just to wait for the actual day." Tegan goes up to them and gives them both big hugs.

"I am free."

Ace turns to Jo, "you know how you are the mother of our ragtag group?"

"I do, I took over for Sarah Jane."

"Also, you have helped your daughters and maybe some granddaughters pick out their wedding dress."

"I have on both accounts."

"I don't have a mother anymore; would you like to take the place of my mum?"

"I would love to Lovely." Jo gives Ace a hug shortly before she and Tegan leave. Ace and Graham have their romantic date as Jo takes her and Tegan to her house.

"So, Tegan if the kids show up are you ready to be climbed on and asked a million questions?"

"Does this count as the first question?"

"No," Jo adds with a laugh.

"How old are your great grandchildren?"

"Ranging 3 years to 15 years old."

"How many?"

"15."

"Jesus Jo."

"I loved Cliff deeply."

"Obviously." Tegan laughs. "I love Nyssa."

"Everyone knows that dear." They arrive at Jo's. "Nice place."

"Thank you. We got it when Cliff got sick. We needed a steady place." They get out of the car as a few kids come running.

"Grammy Jo, Grammy Jo." Jo bends down and takes them in hugs.

"Littles, this is Grammy's friend Tegan." The littlest of them all detangles herself from her grandmother and goes to Tegan.

"Up, up," Tegan bends down and picks up the little girl. "My name is Sarah."

"Hello Sarah. Did you know you Grammy and I had a friend named Sarah."

"My Daddy named me after her. They met when he was a teenager."

"Ok."

"The only one out of the clan that has a normal name," Jo quietly mouths to Tegan. Tegan hugs the little girl tighter as she starts to fall asleep.

"I miss these days. When John-Nathan was little he would curl into me whenever he had a nightmare."

"Would you do anything else?"

"Tell him a story about the lovely Princess with curly hair."

"Nyssa?"

"Always Nyssa. I can't wait for them to meet. Two of the most important people to me in the world."

"Who is the other?"

"Ace of course, who else. This will be the first time she is in my wedding afterall. She may be the good luck charm."

"No, Nyssa will be that. You will be marrying your person. I already had my person. Graham is Ace's person. While Graham is one of the lucky to be granted two people that are meant for him."

"You're right," Tegan and Jo walk in with all the kids minus little Sarah who is still fast asleep in Tegan's arms running in front of them.

"She's really taken to you. While she loves people, she normally doesn't fall asleep in one's arms so quickly."

"I guess she can tell that I want grandchildren."

"Or that you are a wonderful person."

"Thank you, Jo," Tegan starts rocking as Sarah starts to whimper in her sleep. Jo goes to start cooking dinner for everyone. Tegan sits down softly humming thinking of tomorrow.
