Chapter 1021 Licker Mutation
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Leonidas and Victor looked around the outside to make sure nothing would come back.
"Okay, now that we know theres nobody here, we can leave." Victor said.
"Good, it's better than to see some guys that are hidding from us." Leonidas said.
"Hey I got a question mad scientist." Victor said.
"I'm not a mad scientist." Leonidas frowns.
"Okay, well what did you get from the creatures from Raccoon City, but that what info do you have?" Victor said.
"Oh I see, you wish to see what I got from bringing them." Leonidas raises an eyebrow. "Well I found something interesting about the Lickers, they can actually evolve."
"What?" Victor got surprised. "Why didn't they do that when we were in Raccoon City?"
"It seems it's a process that takes time and the Lickers were just mutated into they're Licker state at that point. Since Lickers are zombies that evolved by shedding it's own skin, before the body starts to change." Leonidas explained.
"Okay so the ones we fought were just mutated into those freaks. What did they change to?" Victor asked.
Leonidas then told him what happened.
Flashback
Leonidas was making a few tests on a Licker, he saw it fight against a basic robot he made as the robot swings a knife and shoots a blast at it's tongue.
But then the tongue started to change making many multiple ones be formed out of it almost like whips.
"What?" Leonidas was stunned.
The Licker then swings it's tongues around at it destroying some of the machine's body.
The Licker then gets bigger and forms a hook like claw on each of it's hands, it jumps foward slashing the robot in half.
"Fascinating, it adapted to what it just fought, this one, no pun intended, has a brain compared to others, it's tongue grew seperate ones off of it and the body allowed it to attack as if it was a Hunter." Leonidas analyzed it.
The evolved Licker walks around on the walls and looks at Leonidas, it then tries to claw against the glass.
"It will take more than that to break it, as it's made to stop Victor's own claws." Leonidas said.
"But it's form alone made it superior to the Xenomorph aliens that I thought were it's superior with the acidic blood which is a weakness to them. But with it's mentality to cut off a head it can kill one before the acid could take effect."
The Licker walks back inside and roams around it's cell with it attacking some of the scrap of the robot.
"I'll have to keep this a secret, if someone like Wesker were to find out about this, he would make the Lickers more dangerous." Leonidas said.
He has been running tests on the other creatures he got and the Licker seems to be more dangerous as he studied it.
Around a zombie and injected with the serum of reanimation and it had a interesting effect.
It mutated into becoming the Tyrant inferior as it roars.
"That reaction to the serum of Herbert West made the zombies of the T-Virus evolve into the Tyrant inferiors, makes me wonder what else can the T-Virus alone can do." Leonidas thinks to himself.
Flashback ends
"So just that original virus made it possible for many of those old creatures to get stronger." Victor said.
"Yes, just shows what the human mind can make if they put they're focus on it, now I don't like them using the virus to make Bio weapons, but the results are amazing." Leonidas said.
"If anyone knows about evolution it would be you." Victor sighs.
"It's only to help humanity, unlike those other magus that chose to live in the past and use innocent people as test subjects, I have grown stronger than any of them could ever dream off." Leonidas frowns.
Victor can understand since he's still bitter for other magus to have experimented on adults and children, his family getting lumped into that group has made Leonidas pride get damaged as he doesn't wish to be associated with any of them even more to the Tohsaka family as they were rotten to the very core.
"Tokiomi liked to brag that he was the best of the family, he only destroyed the name, the Tohsaka's greatest is me as I am the one that will clean up it's name for my own mother's sake. Since it would make her be treated like him." Leonidas said.
The two went to see the others if they are ready.
With Yui
Yui was having lunch with Medaka and her friends with Saeko at her side.
"Well it's nice to see someone that is like me." Medaka said.
"Yes me too, just with a few differences." Yui said.
"One that I can see is that you have a boyfriend and Medaka doesn't." Saeko said.
"What?!" Medaka looks at her.
"Well yes, just because i'm a student council president doesn't mean I can't have a boyfriend." Yui said.
"Wait, that personality of yours, are they your harem?" Mogana asked while being nervous.
"Heck no! I am not in they're harem, I just give her a clone body!" Yui got offended.
"Oh thank goodness." Medaka said. "I never thought of you being like that."
"Hey my mother raised me right." Yui said.
"You met your mother?" Medaka got stunned.
"Yes... Didn't you?" Yui asked but Medaka shook her head. "Oh theres a difference."
"She died when I was very young." Medaka looks down.
Yui felt bad before she sensed someone. "Ichigo?" She looks back.
They saw Ichigo come and he waves. "Hey Yui."
They got surprised to see him and Zenkichi said: "Wait that's your boyfriend?"
"Yes plus my..." She shows her ring. "Fiance."
Medaka's jaw dropped seeing that.
"Hey did you have to say that to those guys." Ichigo blushes.
"Come on, theres nothing to hide." She countered.
"Also who is that girl that looks like you?" Ichigo asked.
"Long story." She waves it off.
"I didn't think a counterpart of Medaka would have a boyfriend like that." Mogana said since he looks like a punk.
"He's actually really nice despite how he looks." Saeko said.
"Hey Yui she came." Ichigo looks back.
They saw Aiko Kaze who smiles, she has a gigai with normal clothes.
"Mom." Yui stood up.
Medaka got shocked, since she looks like her own mother from the pictures she saw.
"Yui, I came to see how you were doing." She said.
Aiko then saw Medaka who goes up to her. "You look almost exactly like my daughter."
"Yes, even if your not my actual mother just seeing you." Medaka has a few tears.
Aiko smiles and gives her a hug surprising Medaka. "There there."
Medaka smiled since she felt a embrace of a mother to her child.
Yui smiles too, she doesn't like if Medaka tries to steal her mother but she'll let it slide for now.
The others were also happy since Medaka never got to meet her mother so seeing Aiko brought a smile to her face.
Note: Leonidas showed off his tests with the T-Virus creatures he got and yes the Lickers can evolve since if you read the comics of Resident Evil 2 and 3, Leon fights a Licker that evolved instead of being easily, Aiko visited her daughter while meeting Medaka.
