So without further ado let's get started
This starts where Christian and Taylor are in his office. Ana walked out to let them go over the papers
She walks to the bar and pours a very large glass of whiskey..hell I need it after all that. There are still things I have to tell him. There is a very big issue he will know about soon. She says rubbing the back of her neck
But right now I'm going to indulge in this fine whiskey. Cause I can still hear him screaming and throwing things. I'll check on them in a few minutes after I get my thoughts in order.
"Taylor, do you want to explain any of this to me? How did I or better yet how the hell did the best team I ever have employed not know any of this? Get Welch and Barney here now." he says
"Sir, yes Mr. Grey" Taylor says and grabs his phone...he puts it on 3 way and has both Welch and Barney on the call
"Taylor they both say"
"No time for chit chat. Bring Mr. Grey everything y'all have been searching for and found on anyone. No matter who it is. We need it now like yesterday. Ana has uncovered some startling evidence. "
"Oh shit they both say. On the way." Welch says
"Boss their own way." Taylor tells him
He's has nothing else to say to Christian cause he doesn't know what to tell him or how to explain all Ana found
I Can't believe Taylor is dumb founded but we all are and before all the answers come forth i'm sure everyone will be pulling their hair out.
Fact: Christian knows Ana knows more than she is saying or showing them right now
Fact: Christian knows Ana is N.C.I.S and get into places no one else can cause she found all that stuff on Elena and him
I bet you dollars to donuts she knows about all of them not just the ones she told me about...he says to himself
"Sir Welch and Barney are here."Taylor says
"Show them in Taylor. " Christian tells him
"Do you want Ms Steele in here?" Barney ask walking in
he has a little crush on Ana
Christian looks up from his desk " Not yet " he reply
"Alright gentlemen let's get to it. Explain why you two and all the rest of your guys couldn't find out what I needed?" He says pointing his fingers at them
Welch looks like he would rather be anywhere else than here with Christian
"Well I'm waiting damnit speak up. I haven't got all damn night." He glares at them
"Mr. Grey, sir I put my best men on this as priority 1. They are secret service, retired military, G. B. I. and more. I don't know how they could not uncover the files Ms. Steele could." Welch tells him
"So you're telling me with all those high credentials they couldn't do what Anastasia did?" He says walking up to them
Barney looks a little pale
"Mr. Grey the only thing that makes sense is Ms. Ana has way more clearance than any of us do. She has worked for the president for God's sake. She works for the government. Don't know which one or how many couldn't access her much."
Barney tells him pulling on his shirt collar.. poor man looks like he is going to pass out any minute
Mr. Grey don't forget about her father Raymond Steele; he is in the pocket of our president. He probably knows as much as Ms. Steele does by now."
Christian looks at him and sits him in a chair
Ana walks in "Damn Christian don't badger the poor man to death. Come on Barney, breathe with me. In and out in and out. That's it feeling better now?" She ask him rubbing his neck and back
For some strange reason Christian doesn't like Anastasia touching Barney. He looks at her and shakes his head trying to clear the image from his brain
" Yes Ms. Ana thank you."He smiles at her
She walks over to Christian and slaps him on his arm. He just looks at her. Not believing she did that
"Christian that wasn't nice the way you were badgering them. You know they can only do so much but not like anything I can do." she tells him
" Gentlemen, I will tell you all now. I have a higher clearance than all of y'all put together. Understand Christian? " She looks him dead in the eyes
He stares back at her. When the hell did I lose control? Oh yeah when Ms. Anastasia Steele walked in here
"Uhm yes ma'am I got it loud and clear."he tells her still staring back at her
"Ok now y'all we need to put our heads together and figure out these initials or abbreviations not sure what they really are but I'm guessing initials. See look at these that I have come across. Somehow I'm sure they will start to lead us to the thieves." She says and grabs the papers and shows them what she is talking about
"There are some emails also I need y'all to take a gander at. I have looked at them but the ip address I go to is no longer valid. Seems like whoever it was or they were cause it's more than one. I am thinking since they no longer are communicating with each other that they have no reason to send emails. I can see where they originated but they have these abbreviations and initials no names the same as the phone pings when they are trying to access Christian's computer or laptop. They can't get into anything now . I have everything blocked and in stealth mode." she says looking at all of them
They all look at her for a minute and try to figure out what the hell she is talking about Stealth Mode
Welch and Barney look at the papers then at each other. Taylor, have you and the boss man seen these?" He ask looking back and forth between them
"Yes, Welch we have. Ana showed them to us a while ago just before she left my office." He says
Welch looks over at her saying nothing just stares at her
He is in awe of this beautiful young lady. I need her in my office
"Yes I gave them the papers and walked out cause I knew he..she said pointing to Christian..was going to have a screaming tantrum and I wanted no part of it. Besides, I was thirsty." She says smiling at all of them
"Alright let's look at these initials," he says questioningly. Did you get this from your digging in your dark net on your network work of spies?"
Barney says looking at her with admiration in his eyes. They are like kindred spirits both can hack but Ana is better
Ana feels her face heat up and she knows they can all see the pink blush.
"Yes Barney but don't tell anyone."
She says
"So those pings we were getting on our phones tonight were mine not the same as yours ?" He ask
"Yes and no." She replies and sighs
Before Christian has a chance to speak she explains to him
"Mine and yours were the same but with my clearance and job I got different ones also." She says
" Ah so that's why you took off to my office in such a hurry when we got back here from the restaurant?" He says
"Yes Christian there were things I had to check out without you in here. I had to make sure it was not official business that you could not see. " she tells him
He just looks at her and says "Okay "
"I wasn't trying to hide anything from you really I wasn't but you have to understand with my job there is a level of security that I cannot screw up. So not showing you everything at once was because it was a high security and priority for my eyes only. After I read and reviewed it I knew it was time to bring you and Taylor in and let y'all have a look at the files. " she tells him walking over to him and rubbing his arm...she is trying to keep the controlling jackass from losing his temper again
" Ms. Ana I assume there is more that we don't know about right ?" Barney ask her
Ana sighs and nods her head
Christian looks at her and walks away back over to his desk and sits down running his fingers through his hair
" Well Ms. Steele, when are you going to drop the big bomb on us? Or can you not reveal that yet? Don't we have a right to know better yet don't I have a right to know what is going on in my own damn company and who is fucking with my life?" He demands through gritted teeth
"Christian Grey don't you dare take that tone with me. I am doing everything I can to recover and reveal the bastards that are out to hurt you. If I had been notified earlier this wouldn't have gotten this far. You don't have the right to ask certain questions that I cannot answer right now." She walks over to his desk puts both hands on it and stares him down never taking her eyes off him or batting an eye
"If you ever use that tone of voice with me again Mr. Grey I will put you on your ass so fast you won't know what hit you. Do I make myself clear Mr. Christian Trevelyan Grey?
No one and I mean no one talks to me like that and gets away with it and you damn well better remember what I just said."
Christian looks away first and the guys just turn their heads not wanting to see the great Christian Grey put in his place by a five foot nothing woman that could put him on his ass if need be
Christian is looking everywhere but at her. Damn she is hot ...where the hell did that come from..before he can say anything she speaks to his men and walks to the door
She turns and says "Gentlemen I'll be back and please look over those abbreviations or initials ." And walks out slamming his door hard enough to make them all jump
They all just look everywhere but at each other. It's so quiet you can hear a pin drop literally
Oh my God she is going to kill me. Why did I open my damn mouth and talk to her like that? I know she is doing all she can to help me damnit all to hell I will never learn when she is around to keep my fucking mouth shut. But hell that little woman has had me in knots the whole time I have known her even when I pushed her away for the bitch. Well I wonder if I should apologize or just wait till she cools down and comes back in here…well if you ask me asshole you better wait cause Anastasia Steele is out for blood and it's ours and I don't want to die right now. So keep your ass in your chair until you hear from her. yeah, yeah I hear ya but go away ain't got time for you right now
"Uhm Mr. Grey do you want to continue or wait on Ms. Steele?" Welch says since no one else has the balls to speak up. he says glaring at all of them
Christian shakes his head and looks at all of them. he sighs and walks over to the table that has the files and the papers on it
"Might as well see what she has found, especially the abbreviations or initials she is talking about. I believe they are a major clue in this matter. Taylor and I didn't really get a good look at them." he says walking around the table
They all move around the table to each side so they can see it better. Still not saying anything to each other waiting on their boss to speak first and it's not Taylor they are waiting on
Each one of them looks at their copies of the abbreviations and the information they have in front of them…before anyone can say anything Ana walks back in and puts what they are looking at on the big screen so they can all look at it better… she turns and walks to the door..they are all holding their breaths waiting for her to slam it again
She doesn't acknowledge anyone and walks back out closing the door the right way..as she walks back to the great room she is smiling..gotcha boys she says
She walks over to the kitchen to finish the coffee and snacks she made. She sees her security Davidson and motions him over to her.
"How many of y'all are still awake and in the security office?" she ask
He looks at her with a questioning look on his face
"Oh hell I just wanted to know how many of y'all were still up cause I was going to see if y'all wanted coffee and a cinnamon roll I made." she smirks at him
"Yes ma'am we sure would. Do you even have to ask me?" he says
She looks at him and says "Well the guys might want some too. So how many cups and rolls do you need?"
"Four cups of decaf and 4 rolls please. Thank you Ana." he says she gives him their coffees and rolls on a tray and he leaves her…but stops and turns around
"Forget something Davidson?" she ask him wondering why he stopped
He rubs his forehead and looks at her
"UHM me and the guys are wondering if you killed or maimed Mr. Grey? We heard the door slam all the way down to the security office."he said looking at her with a smile on his face
She burst out laughing cause she couldn't hold it in any longer and walked over to get her tray for the jackass and his boys
"You can tell them he is alive as of now. But I will tell you if he ever talks to me like that again he will be six feet under." she says and he walks off shaking his head
She can hear him tell the guys no funeral for the boss but Ana did put him in his place…she heard laughing
She grabs her tray and walks to Christian's office kicks the door with her foot and Taylor opens it not knowing who it is yet
"Thank you Taylor." she says he nods
"Want me to take that Ana?" Taylor ask
"No thanks I got it." and proceeds to walk to the desk and sit the tray down. She looks at them and says
"Thought y'all might be ready for coffee it's late and it's decaf and i also made some of my famous cinnamon rolls for y'all. There are plenty more in the kitchen and on the bar if you want more." she says not looking at Christian and turns to walk out
"Thank you Ms. Steele, much appreciated ." they all said at once
"Y'all are very welcome. I hope y'all like them. They are from one of my new recipes for desserts in my baby foods line. I just incorporated them into cinnamon rolls, not baby food." she says smiling
She sees Barney bite into his and he looks like he is in heaven
"Oh my God Ms. Ana these are the best cinnamon rolls I have ever eaten. If your baby food dessert takes like this you must be making millions?" he says sighing and looks embarrassed for talking like that
"Well uhm thank you Barney for that awesome response to my cinnamon rolls. I am glad you like them and yes my baby food tastes just like the rolls you are eating."
she tells him smiling
"I'll leave y'all to it and check back later." she says still not looking at Christian cause if she does she will more than likely smack him silly. she is still pissed from earlier
All of them are looking back and forth between the two wondering who is going to give in first. Well the way they see it he should
Christian looks around at the guys and then at Ana and walks toward her. She sees this and heads for the door.
Christian sees her trying to avoid him
"Ana, can I talk to you for a few minutes please?" he says looking right in her eyes and holding her arm. she
looks down and back up at him. he lets her go and waits for an answer
"Christian she sighs.. Now is not a good time. Let's talk after everyone gets through eating. I need a little more time to calm down." she says walking out of his office
Damn I really stuck my foot in it this time. How am I going to get myself out of this mess? well if you ask me you never should have opened your mouth and talked to her like you did you dickhead….
yeah I hear ya but didn't ask for your damn opinion
I hate my conscious sometimes and right now I just want to smack myself and him
"Come on Mr. Grey give her a little time. You really did hurt her with the way you talked to her. There was no call for it." Taylor said
He just glares at Taylor and the guys but doesn't say anything
He clears his throat and drinks his coffee and tries the cinnamon roll…damn that is amazing wow..no wonder she is doing so well and not having any problems starting new plants up.. I am extremely proud of her. maybe she will let me compliment her and tell her how proud I am of her
"Ok guys, let's look at the screen. What can y'all make out of the initials?" he looks up and they are snickering at him
"What the hell is so damn funny?" he raises an eyebrow at them
"Uhm sir, you said y'all just like Ana does. It sounded funny coming from you." Taylor says smiling
"Well hell I guess the little spitfire is rubbing off on me." he says smiling
"Enough come on over here and see if any of you can figure out what these initials stand for?" he says
They are all standing there in front of the big screen television trying to figure out if they are peoples name or just jumbled letters trying to lead them astray
"Barney you seem to be quite taken with Ms. Steele, would you do the honors and go see if she will come back in here and help us decipher these initials please?" he ask him
"No problem Mr. Grey be right back with or without her." he says
As the guys are looking over the screen trying to figure this mess out Christian is looking at a file he is not supposed to be opening yet and something catches his eye. He can't believe it but it's right there in front of him. Why did no one know this? How could this be true? I am really pissed now. I don't think the guys have seen this yet. I know Welch hasn't cause he hasn't brought it to our attention. He says pulling his hair…why, why, why didn't someone know about this? he is just staring at the file
Why was no one told this? We should have known this years ago. I wonder if that's one of the reasons it happened? No never not like that if they knew it wouldn't have happened in the first place would it? But they were the only ones that knew. Damn im gonna be sick he runs to the trash can and throws up just as Barney and Ana walk in
"Oh my lord Christian are you alright? Was my roll that bad?" she says rubbing his back
"Are you going to be alright to continue this?" she says waving her hand around and pointing to the screen
He washes his mouth out with the water that Taylor gave him and looks at Ana really looks at her not knowing what to say
Everyone looks at him wondering what the hell is going on with him as he continues to stare at Ana
"Sir, Mr. Grey." Taylor says walking over to him
Christian looks at them and shakes his head. He doesn't know how to address this situation hell this is a major issue in his life
Anastasia Steele knew about this. Why didn't she tell me?
Well stupid if you hadn't acted like God Almighty i'm sure she would have shared that with us earlier. But no being the controlling jerk you are you pissed her off…. yeah I remember now damn I am a jackass
He just couldn't look at what I told him to look at. The damn abbreviations or initials I'm still thinking that's what they are. Did he even look at the email ?No Mr. Control had to do it his way as usual now he is pissed cause he knows I know. Damn the man
She walks over to Christian and looks him in the eyes and sighs
" Christian did you look at anything I asked y'all to look at?" She glares at him
He just continues to look at her
Silence
She knew but he could have told her
"Christian why did you have to go further into the files when I only said look and try to figure out these abbreviations or initials?" she dares him to deny looking any further
He raises an eyebrow at her and just stares
"Let me ask you something first alright?" he says and she nods her head
"Were you going to tell me about this major issue you found?" he ask her
She rubs her forehead and looks back up at him with him being a giant to her.
"Yes I was going to tell you and everyone standing in here what I found. I just found it tonight. Remember I said I did a deep background check ?" she waits on him to say something he just nods his head
"Well ok we can talk about that but we need to look at these other files first they are more important don't you think? You and I can look at them alone unless you want your guys to know right now. she says
"Christian they won't go any further in the files unless I say they can. I just want to know if you want to keep this between us for the moment. Do you? It's up to you." she says quietly
"Alright Ana i'll hold off for now since I know you are telling me the truth about this that you just found out tonight." he says
She smiles at him "Thank you now, let's hear some answers or questions about all this."
She says walking over to the table where everything is laid out and sees a board on the wall staring at it
"Alright y'all speak up we need answers. Don't be shy, spit it out." She tells them
They all start talking at once
'Wait hold your damn horses…she giggles
One at a time please." She says to them
"Ms. Ana I was trying to figure out if they are initials which I think they are. I believe they are the perpetrators' names either their first names or last names. Depending on how you look at them. I believe they are mixed up to make us think they are abbreviations for some reason." Barney show Ana
Wow that's the most I have ever heard Barney say at one time Christian says to himself
Ana looks at the board again that Barney put up on the wall trying to decipher the initials.
" Barney, I believe you are onto something here. I'm wondering if they are using some kind of a code they have made up to try and throw us off track." She says grabbing a pen and going to board and starts to decipher the codes
" Ok now here is the 1st set of initials. Let's see who's name starts with or ends with these initials shall we gentlemen." She turns back to the board
They all grab a pen and start writing names
Ana looks at Christian and knows he has figured out a few by the look on his face
I can't believe they would be involved with this
What the hell is wrong with them? What did he do to make them bitter or hate him? I don't like that word hate but it fits here.
Taylor clears his throat and looks at Ana but not Christian yet
"Ana, I believe I have some names." He says
Welch and Barney speak up too " Yes we have come up with a few also." They say
She nods her head " Good work guys thank y'all for y'alls help.
Christian doesn't say anything yet he just walks over to the board and writes the names he come has come up with
He turns and looks at all of them shakes his head and walks over to grab a bottle of Bourbon and pours a glass
"Would y'all care for a glass of my finest Bourbon? He ask them
They all laugh at his y'all
" I do believe my southern accent is rubbing off on you sugar. " Ana says giggling and walks over to him
He just smiles at her and says " Maybe."
"Alright let's see what we have come up with and if they match?" He says
EVERYONE is hesitant about revealing their names
"Come on dammit, don't be shy now. I know for a fact we are all on the same page." Ana says
One at a time they each come forward and give Ana their answers on paper. She looks at them and sighs
Christian is standing behind her but he sees what is written on the papers he closes his eyes for a second and takes a deep breath
"Alright we are in agreement with the names of some of them but each of us still has three names or more to figure out. Let's take a break for now. Welch you and Barney are welcome to spend the night since it is so late if you would like too. Don't want either of you driving home tired." He tells them
They both nod their heads
Thank you sir, we appreciate it." Welch says looking at his watch
"I think I'll take you up on that offer for a drink now." Barney says
While they are all talking Ana is putting up another board and writing facts on it about a certain person
They all stop talking and watch her
Oh hell no no way is that true Taylor says to himself he is shocked he can't believe it
"Oh my goodness gracious, how the heck did we not uncover that Welch? I am so ashamed that I couldn't get better access to that woman." Barney says hanging his head down on his chest
"Barney, it's not your fault. No one could but Anastasia. " Christian tells him patting him on his back and handing him his drink
They all walk over to the board and watch Ana as she writes facts on the board
Welch and Taylor are talking low
"Damn man, what is her clearance in the government? I know she is N.C.I.S but she's gotta have very high credentials to pull all this. " Welch says pointing to the board
"I don't know Welch but she has more clearance than her father does. She was trained by the best when they were in Washington, DC. " Taylor tells him
"Well between you and I I would not want to be on her bad side. I hope she and the boss can work out their situation with each other ." Welch says looking at them
"My friend, I hope you are right. They belong together and I'm sure they would have been if not for the bitch years ago." Taylor tells him
Welch nods his head and they walk closer to Ana
Taylor follows Welch and nods his head saying "Only time will tell and if he.. he points to Christian getting his act together cause that little woman ain't gonna take no shit from the Almighty Christian Grey."
Some of the facts Ana had written on the board they all knew but a couple of interesting facts floored them. they all looked and shook their heads not believing what they were seeing
Ana looks at them and sees they are shaking their heads and trying to figure out how these facts slipped past them
"Ms. Steele, you have some startling news that you have come across." Welch tells her
"Mr. Welch, I would have to agree with you. These facts they never wanted found out."
Ana tells him and looks at Christian to see his reaction to this news. She knows it's hard for him to comprehend right now. Hell it was for her
"Uhm so do we talk about these facts or go through these emails Christian? she walks over to him taking his hand in hers and rubbing it gently
Christian doesn't say anything for a few minutes then takes his hand out of hers and walks over to her board and draws lines from this person to that person and points at the ages then puts big red X's on the addresses.
Stands there studying them barely breathing and turns around to look at them
He clears his throat and says
"Let's get down to business and go through the initials this..he points to the board will have to wait. It's not the number one priority right now." he tells them and grabs another sheet of paper pins it on the board and starts writing down each initial and a name that it starts with
"This is the way the initials look on the emails. I am going to write them all together and then separate each letter." He explains to them

M- Mark, Mia, Max, Miller, Michael
" Just a few names I have come up with at the spur of the moment." He says looking at them
"One question: why put Mia on the list?" Taylor ask him
He just shrugs as shoulder and says
"Well she has been upset with me for a while even before I lost everything and her name starts with an M." He shakes his head and walks over to Ana. Stops in front of her leans down kisses her cheek and walks over to the door opening it and turns around and tells them
"I have had all I can stand tonight it's late and my brain can't take anymore it's on overload right now." He says
They all look at him and say "Goodnight."
"Christin wait a moment you need to see some of this and this you can go crash please." she ask him
He waits until she has the main ones on the board and looks and listen for a few minutes and walks out the door
"Alright y'all let's look at these facts."she says dismissing Christian from her thoughts for the moment
Facts on different people
Fact: Elena Lincoln was born in Booneville , Missouri but her real name is Alice May Carlton...shocker right
Fact: Elena is the same age as Grace.. 50 say it ain't so
Fact: Elena has always lied about her age
Having a rich hubby she indulged in plastic surgery to make herself look younger
Fact: Grace didn't know Elena at first when she and husband Linc moved in next door to her because when she met Elena in school she had brown hair and she not only looked different but her name was Alice not Elena
Fact: Grace and Elena (aka Alice) were in grade school together for 3 years and they became close friends
Fact: Elena didn't tell Grace she remembered her until Christian started getting into trouble
Fact: Grace found it hard to believe at first but Elena explained that they were kinda friends in school but not for long because Grace and her family moved from Missouri to Michigan during the summer
Fact: Mrs. Elena Lincoln became friends with the Grey's when she and husband moved in next door.
Fact: Mrs. Lincoln was always over at their house and more often when the boys got older.
Fact: Christian didn't want to be around her cause she was always trying to talk to him or touch him
Fact: Fast forward Christian started fighting at school in 10th grade cause he didn't like to be touched. People were always getting in his face.
Fact: Christian's grades were dropping; he didn't care. The fighting continued he was getting into trouble
Fact: Anastasia Steele moved back home with her dad when he got transferred to Seattle they still lived next door to the Grey's
Fact: Anastasia and Christian became friends and she offered to help him with his homework to get his grades up.
Fact: Christian was almost as smart as Ana but he didn't want to apply himself
He was walking hard. Girls were crazy about him. His hormones were raging. He wanted to date but was afraid the girls would touch him.
He liked Ana and knew she knew about his issues but before anything could start the bitch got to him
Fact: Christian's fighting and being expelled from school was bad. He was stealing his fathers liquor getting drunk
Fact: Grace and Carrick were at their wits end with Christian they didn't know what to do
Fact: Grace and Elena are best friends . Nobody knows why cause Grace is a lovely lady and a pediatrician and well known in their neighborhood. Elena is loud and obnoxious to a point the family goes elsewhere when they see her.
Fact: Elena and Linc never had kids
Fact: Elena convinced Grace over time that it would be a good idea and in Christian's best interest if he came over to her house and started working in the backyard removing rubble from there
She said he could work off his anger and aggressive behavior. She said the boy had to many anger issues
Fact: Grace never talked to Carrick about her and Elena's conversations about Christian working for her. That was strange cause she always discussed family matters with him
Fact: Grace told Christian he would be working at the Lincoln's removing rubble from the backyard. He pitched a fit cause his mother didn't ask him, she told him. Didn't give him a choice
Fact: After a few days Christian was like a different person. No fighting, no drinking. Like he got his act together. He didn't tell anyone what was really going on at the Lincoln's
Fact: Grace nor Carrick never really pursued the changes in Christian. They were happy he was doing better
Fact: Elena told Grace not to worry about Christian he was doing really good no reason to talk to him and like the best friend she was she listened to her not questioning her son for his behavior changing like it did
Fact: Grace never told Carrick she was friends with Elena Lincoln and to this day he still doesn't know…bad, bad Grace
Fact: Christian was Elena's submissive during high school
Fact: Christian became an A student and was getting ready to graduate high school a year early
Fact Elena trained him to be a dominant just so she could keep him longer in her greedy hands
"Damn that is a lot of information Ana. Now I see the reason Christian couldn't believe what he was reading." Taylor tells her
"Yes Taylor, it's a lot to take in in one night. I wish the jackass would learn to have control over himself, not just others you know."
They all agreed with her
"Let's continue this tomorrow y'all or later today its 3am." She says looking at her watch
They all say goodnight and leave Christian's office
