Chapter 1137 Oakhaven

I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.

Mystery Gang went towards a town called Oakhaven and they saw it was filled with people.

"I thought this was a quiet town." Zack said.

"It was, we'll have to ask." Velma said.

They saw the person they were looking for Ben Ravencroft at the park.

He sees them come out. "Glad you all could come and it seems you brought some friends."

"Yeah they know mystery solving too." Fred said.

"Well my name is Ben Ravencroft." He introduced himself.

"So what's going on here? I thought this was a nice quiet town." Zack said.

"I was wondering the same too." Ben said.

They saw the mayor go up to them. "Ben, my boy! I'm glad you can come home to see this. And I see you brought some friends and their dog."

"Dog where?" Scooby looks around.

"We had a friend but he was too young to come." Victor said.

"Not to worry, you can get him a T-shirt that's coming." Mayor said.

"What's all of this?" Ben looks around.

"It's great, isn't it? Business is booming, not like a few months ago when it was slower than maple syrup on a cold day." Mayor was excited.

"Hey Ben." They saw a man with gray hair come foward holding box.

"Hi Mr. McKnight." Ben said.

"Welcome home, here have a T-shirt before it sells out." He gives one to Ben. "You can wear it to the concert."

"Concert?" Leonidas said.

Draco saw the banner that explains the show has a group called the Hex Girls.

"Hmmm interesting." Draco said.

"Your a music lover Draco so that's perfect for you." Victor said.

"You might like them then, the girls will enjoy the show." Mayor said.

Mr. McKnight looks at Alex and whistles. "You know I had a few shirts made for big guys like you."

"Oh thanks." Alex said as Mr. McKnight leaves.

Ben reads the shirt. "I met the ghost of Oakhaven and survived."

"Ghost?!" Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other.

"Jinkies! Looks like you got a ghost in your own backyard, Ben." Velma said.

"Not only that. But it's his own ancestor, the ghost of Sarah Ravencroft." Mayor said.

"That's ridiculous. I thought we'd got past over this "witch" nonsence." Ben said.

"What can I say, Ben. Ever since, we built our puritan villiage, her ghost has appeared many times." Mayor said.

"Don't tell me, you disturbed her spirit with the construction?" Fred said.

"And now, she's haunting the town." Daphne said.

Mayor got surprised. "Yes how did you know?"

"We're ghost hunters." Velma said.

"Ah I see." He said.

"Did you say "puritan village?" Ben asked and the mayor smiles.

They went to the village and saw it all looking like it was in the past.

"What you're seeing is a perfect recreation of life was like back in the 1600's, as renunacted by our locals." Mayor said.

"When did all of this go on?" Ben said.

"About six months ago." Mayor said.

"Well this is a nice place." Aka said.

Daphne goes to see a few dolls on a tree stump. "Oh, cornhouse dolls. Aren't they cute, Fred?" She shows one to Fred.

"Yeah, charming." Fred said.

Alex goes to a seller and buys a few.

"Seems your taking a few for yourself." Mayor said.

"I have a few kids that would like it." Alex said.

"Ah, a good father." Mayor patted his back.

"So there was a ghost appearing many times?" Yui said.

"Ah-yup. That's right, young lady. Apparently, we disturb the spirit of Ben's ancestor, who was persecuted as a witch. Way back in 1657." Mayor said.

"Unjustifiably persecuted. Sarah Ravencroft was a medicine woman who practiced natural healing, and was unfairly accused because of her asencted ways!" Ben said.

"Just like the Salem witch trials. Many men and women who were a bit different or didn't conform to the codes of the colony, suffer the same fate." Velma said.

"Yui would have burned alive so fast in that time." Victor said making her glare at him.

"Sarah was a healer. It was said she even kept a journal of all the patients she cured with her herbal remedies." Ben said.

"Well it's gotta be around here." Zack said.

"Yes, i've been looking for it for a very long time." Ben said.

Draco looks around the place and puts a hand on his chin.

Theres a supernatural element here, but somethings off about this ghost thing.

He then saw Scooby digging on the ground, but he takes his head revealing a square metal piece.

"Like what you got there old buddy?" Shaggy asked.

Shaggy takes it to check the item.

"Looks like you found a old shoe buckle, my boy. Probably over 400 years old." Mayor looks at it.

"Cool." Shaggy smiles.

Victor raises an eyebrow since this feels off.

"Maybe I should ask for extra help." Victor goes to make a phone call.

Victor comes back and he sees the others coming.

"Hey Vic Ben is going to show us his place." Zack calls out to him.

"Okay, hey where's Shaggy and Scooby?" Victor asked.

"They went out to eat." Fred said.

"Of course." Victor said.

They went foward and saw another come up to the streets.

"What's this?" Ben said.

From the van came Vivi and she smiles.

"Hey Vivi." Victor smiles.

"Hey Victor." She waves.

"Wow, she looks like Velma." Fred was stunned.

"It's a pretty big coincidence." Velma said.

"Still her clothes do look cute." Daphne said.

Mystery comes out of a window and smiles.

"Hey where's Arthur?" Victor asked.

"He's around town." She said.

At the restaurant

Shaggy and Scooby were eating a lot of food surprising the guests there.

"Now this is great." Shaggy said.

"Hey can you not make so much noise."

They looked in front of them and saw Arthur turn back to see them.

"Zoinks, like this guy looks like he could be my cousin Scoob while having a metal arm." Shaggy said.

"Hey the name's Arthur." He said.

"Oh yeah, your Victor's friend. It seems you came to investigate too." Shaggy said.

"Yeah Victor told us about this." Arthur said.

He gets his meal and smiles.

"Hey seafood." Shaggy said.

"Yum." Scooby licks his lips.

"You can order the same." Arthur said.

"Good idea." Shaggy said.

They ate more as the day passes by.

Note: The first event is Witch's Ghost and Victor called his old friends the Mystery Skulls for extra support in this adventure since they're experts too.
