Chapter 1147 Tournament of Mirimoto
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
The group went to Japan and they were inside a bullet train that took them there.
"Welcome to Shibuya Station. Now arriving on track 9."
They exited the train and went towards the plaza with many people walking by.
"Wow, we made it gang. Shibuya Station, the most popular meeting place in Tokyo." Fred said.
"And I can see why. Everyone in Japan is here." Velma said.
Zack takes a deep breath. "It's good to be home."
"Like did you live here?" Shaggy asked.
"Oh yeah, raised and born here." He smiles.
"Oh yeah, you used to live here." Victor said.
Shaggy checks a box of Scooby snacks. "Like, wouldn't you know it? We're all out of Scooby Snax."
Scooby got sad hearing that.
"Don't worry uncle Scooby, I heard theres a store nearby." Scrappy points making the two excited.
"Hey, I got a text message from Miyumi. It says "Meet me at the statue of Hachiko"?" Daphne checks her phone.
"Any idea what this Hachiko person looks like?" Fred asked.
Zack chuckles. "Just follow me." They followed Zack go the place.
"That's Hachiko." Zack points at a dog statue.
"Like, Check it out Scoob. Hachikō is not a person. He's a pooch." Shaggy said.
"Yup, Hachiko was a loyal dog that always came to greet his master when he came back from the station, even after he passed away he kept coming despite what others said." Zack explained the story.
"Wow. Sounds like he was one cool canine. Hey, Scoob. Like maybe they'll put up a statue of you someday." Shaggy said.
"Me? Oh boy." Scooby said.
Scooby then poses with the statue as they took some pictures.
"That's it uncle Scooby show them your moves." Scrappy said.
A girl came out from behind the statue. "It's gonna take more than that Scooby-Doo. If you want a statue of your own in Japan, you must first become a legend just like Hachikō. Today, in honor of his great loyalty, his statue serves as a special place for faithful friends to meet."
Zack looks at her. "Well hello there."
"I'm sorry, but have we met?" Fred asked.
"You must be Miyumi." Daphne said.
"And you must be Daphne." The two bow to each other. "I heard about the Mystery Gang, and I see you brought some friends."
"Yup, the names Zack." He smiles at her.
Miyumi blushes a bit. "Nice to meet you, I heard you explain the story, you must be from this land."
"Well yeah." Zack shrugs.
"What do you know Scoob? Looks like our reputation proceeds us. Like I hope that's a good thing." Shaggy said.
Miyumi laughs. "Of course it is. Could I tell you a secret? I sometimes wished I could be a member of the Scooby gang."
Shaggy goes up to her. "Like, tell you what. Next time if there's a gruesome ghost up in our grill, you got first dibs."
"Yeah." Scooby Doo said.
"That's my uncle Scooby, always giving others a chance." Scrappy said.
Yui chuckles since he has high hopes from Scooby.
"Hey. Don't worry guys. We're not here to solve any mysteries or face any enemies this time." Fred said.
"We're just here to watch Daphne compete in the big martial arts competition." Velma said.
"I'm so honored to be invited to the tournament." Daphne said.
"And so should you be. Miss Mirimoto runs the most exclusive martial arts academy in all the world only the most exemplary students are accepted by her. But first you must survive the tournament." Miyumi said.
Shaggy and Scooby got scared and Zack said: "She means win you idiots."
"Oh." They chuckled.
She takes them to a jet and they fly towards they're destination.
The ride was long before they arrived at the place and Fred said: "This is one nice airport."
"It's not an airport its a garden." Vivi corrected him.
"It's pretty nice." Arthur said.
"Like we're just going to go with the flow." Shaggy smiles with Scooby.
Then a big guy goes up behind them. " All must wear uniform."
He scared the duo and puts the uniforms on them.
Miyumi scolded him. "No Sojo! Bad Sojo! Not them! Her!" She points at Daphne.
"All must wear uniform." Sojo tries to do with her but Daphne throws him away.
"Sorry Sojo, but I handle my own wardrobe." Daphne said.
"Nice one." Yui high fives her.
They had to put on the uniforms and they went together with Miyumi and they saw many practicing they're katas.
"Like it's a carnival of karate." Shaggy said.
"The competition this year is fierce," Miyumi informed as they passed by one man who was with cinder-blocks. "That's Kerry Kilpatrick: the Irish national champion."
He then punches the blocks destroying them.
"He's a two-time demolition dynamo." Miyumi told them.
"Alex can do that." Victor said.
"Seeing how big he is, I believe that." Velma said.
A white-haired woman strikes a wooden board before going to two more.
"Sapphire Sonja," Miyumi informed. "The only thing deadlier than her kick is her beauty."
She looks at them and Aka waves. "Well hello beautiful."
Then a guy on a leash growls at them.
"And that's Japan's own Mad Dog Masimoto," Miyumi told them. "A favorite to win this year. Once he's off his leash, you're really in the doghouse."
"Well all these guys seem strong, shame we're not in the tournament." Aka grins.
Then they saw the woman in charge come out of the temple.
"Most honored participants, welcome to Mirimoto Academy's Tournament of Champions," Miss Mirimoto began. "The finest martial artists in all the world have gathered here today for one single purpose: To prove that they are the best."
Many cheered hearing that.
"But theres one already with the heart of a champion." Mirimoto said. "Daphne Blake."
"Um, over here." Daphne said.
"Can this be?" Miss Mirimoto asked Daphne. "The tournament has not yet begun, and already you have defeated the mighty Sojo?"
"Uh, I didn't mean to." Daphne was nervous. "It's just that-"
"Perhaps you would honor us with a demonstration of your superior skill." Mirimoto said.
Zack then noticed a few statues of masters among them was Wu. "Master Wu?"
That surprised many of the place as they gasped, Miyumi was stunned and Mirimoto looks at him.
"Is this true, you were trained by the mighty Wu?" She asked him.
"Oh, yeah he was my sensei for a long time." Zack said.
"Perharps you would like to test your skills along with Daphne, seeing the student of Wu would be great for many to see." Mirimoto said.
Daphne faces off against Miyumi and they fought against each other.
"Well look at them go, they're pretty good." Zack said.
Miyumi then does a dirty trick taking the hairband.
"I can't see." Daphne said.
Miyumi smirks and throws Daphne away.
"Hey that's as a dirty trick!" Vivi said.
"The first rule of Mirimoto Academy: If you want to win, you must be willing to do that which others are not willing to do." Miyumi said.
Zack came up and surprised her. "Then try fighting me."
Miyumi got surprised and nodded.
She charges at Zack who blocks her attacks with ease before striking her back.
"Well this is a total opposite she's outmatched." Velma said.
"Of course, Zack trained a lot in his time." Hank said.
Miyumi got sent to the ground and grunted.
"Is that the best you can do?" Zack said.
Miyumi threw dust to his eyes and he grunted, she smirks charging at him but he punches her in the gut.
Mirimoto got surprised as Miyumi backs away holding her stomach.
"My senses are much higher than normal that I don't need to rely on petty tricks." He then grabs Miyumi by her collor and throws her out of the arena.
"Well he won." Aka said.
Miyumi was shocked since even after that she still lost.
"Here's something master Wu told me, those that trained to surpass they're opponents, they don't need to cheat to win." Zack goes away to wash his eyes.
"Well it seems Wu taugh him well." Mirimoto said. "The tournament begins tomorrow at sunrise, but tonight, a feast has been prepared in your honor."
They all nodded and went away to get some rest.
Note: Here's the next movie, Samurai Sword, and Zack proved that he doesn't need to cheat to win.
