"Listen up," Aizawa said, after silently making his way into class 1-A's dorms, "You have a tough day of training a head of you tomorrow. Principle Nezu has granted permission for all hero courses to focus solely on hero training. I don't have to remind you that after Shigaraki's attack the trust in hero's has fallen and the crime rate has risen significantly. We need as many pros as possible and fast. There is only so much you can do with provisional licences."

Aizawa paused for a moment under the guise of making sure his students understood the message. Aizawa wanted to be out there, fighting crime, doing what he could to put the world back in order, but he'd only recently mastered walking on his new leg, he wasn't in fighting shape yet. Doctors were shocked at his progress with all of them telling him to slow down. He couldn't, not with most hero's quitting or dead. Even those that were still in the game were compromised; Miriko was still recovering from her injuries, Beat Jeanist and Hawks were out fighting but he wasn't at 100%, and Endeavour had lost favour with the public, not to mention his mental state was crumbling.

Right, Endeavour.

"Todoroki, your father wants to speak with you."

Todoroki looked up from the plates he was about to wash when Endeavour entered the room.

"It's okay, Todoroki," Midoriya said, "I'll take care of the dinner plates."

"Thanks, Midoriya." Todoroki nodded his head and made his way to his father. This is not a conversation he wanted to have, it would most likely end up with some yelling and disappointment. As much as their family discission in the hospital had done them good they were still facing conflicting opinions on fighting Toya.

Before Todoroki could get to his father the hairs on his neck stood up. Everyone felt it too and dropped into fighting stances scanning the room.

"Mr. Aizawa, what's going on?" Mina asked, doing her best to hide the shakiness in her voice.

Before Aizawa had the chance to answer the lights went out. He waited a moment, knowing the emergency lights would soon turn on. But they didn't.

"Stay sharp!" He said, willing his eye to adjust to the dark faster. There was some steady light coming from Endeavour and Todoroki and some of the other students were trying to produce some light but it just seemed to cast more shadows. There definitely was someone in them.

The rest of the students dropped into fighting stances, dinner dishes long since forgotten. They were all scanning the room but it was hard to see the people next to them, let alone the other side of the room.

"SHOW YOURSELF!" Bakugo shouted, small explosions going off in his hands.

Aizawa threw his capture weapon into the darkness, where he was certain the intruder was, but he missed. This person was smart, staying out of his line of sight, but what was their quirk?

"Do you smell that?" Uraraka said, as a metallic tang filled the air.

Just as the rest of group smelt the air a pink mist was visible in Endeavours flames; "Show your self!" Endeavour said as he shot some flames into the darkness. The blast illuminated the surrounding area but only made more of the pink mist visible.

"For Shigaraki," A voice called. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

Before anyone could process what had been said there was a loud crack and blinding light.

And the floor disappeared.

"What the!?" Kirishima shouted.

"Use your quirks!" Aizawa shouted, "Slow your decent!" His ears were buzzing, he could only hope that his students could hear him, for all their sakes.

It took Midoriya a moment to catch his bearings after the bang but he knew two things: He and his classmates were falling and that not all of them could fly on their own. He activated float and black whip catching Ida. He was just thankful that it was light enough out to see everyone.

Uraraka was close enough to Tsuyu to activate her quirk, floating the two of them.

Todoroki was able to activate his quirk and he caught Yaoyorozu.

"Bakugo, LOOK OUT!" Kaminari shouted as he barreled into him.

Deku shot out Black Whip catching Bakugo with Kaminari clutching onto Bakugo for dear life.

"Watch it you dammed extra!"

Aizawa was able to catch himself on Endeavour using his capture scarf while Endeavour used his fire to fly.

"GUYS!" Kirishima shouted as he fell out of their range.

"Kirishima!" Deku and Bakugo shouted, throwing black whip towards him, but it wasn't long enough.

The rest of the class began to chase after him, but Kirishima was reaching the ground fast.

A whistling sound began to penetrate the air. Endeavour and Eraserhead turned to face the noise, but it sailed right passed them towards Kirishima.

"Kirishima, look out!" Eraser shouted.

But it was too late, all the boy could do was harden his skin before the black mass grabbed him just before he hit the tree line.

"Did you get him?" An unknown voice shouted. There was a pause then the black mass with Kirishima turned towards a clearing in the forest.

"Follow him and stick together!" Eraser shouted as they all moved to rescue Kirishima.

It was a normal day on the Edge, well, as normal as it could be. Then out of nowhere there was a loud crack that spooked some of the dragons. Hiccup looked towards the origin of the noise and without a second thought he leapt onto Toothless; "Guy, lets go!" he called then took off.

He didn't bother to look back, he knew at least Astrid was following him as he heard Stormflys chirp.

"Are those people?" Astrid said.

"Looks like it," Hiccup said.

"Then how are they flying without dragons?" Fishlegs said.

"I don't know. But it looks like one of them is falling. You guys meet me in the clearing over there," Hiccup said.

"But where- And he's gone," Snotlout said.

"Come on!" Astrid shouted, as she led them towards the clearing.

Hiccup pushed Toothless to fly as fast as he could, a fall from that persons height was fatal. They did manage to catch the boy, and Hiccup was able to steal a glance at some of the others. One seemed to be holding up a few people with some sort of black fuzzy rope and two others were staying afloat because of fire coming out of them. Who ever they were, they were not normal.

"Hey! Let me go!" Kirishima shouted, as Hiccup and Toothless carried him over the trees.

"Are you sure about that? It's quite the drop."

Kirishima looked down, he was surprised at how fast they were moving and how far the ground was. He could survive the fall, but it would hurt, and this creature hasn't tried to eat him yet, so that had to be a good sign.

"Never mind," he said, tightening his hold on the creature's leg.

Hiccup smirked and guided Toothless to the clearing where the other riders were landing. He turned back to see the other sky dwellers following him and gaining speed. They looked angry.

He slowed down significantly as he reached the clearing to not injure the boy as he dropped him a meter or so from the ground.

Hiccup flew to the other side of the clearing landing in front of the other riders just as the other people landed.

"Kirishima, are you okay?" A green hair boy called.

"I'm good," The red-haired boy that Hiccup saved responded.

A few of the hero's looked like they were ready to attack the idle riders but between the riders pulling out their weapons and the dragons growling, the hero's chose not to advance.

Aizawa did not like this, they were at a stand still. At least Kirishima was okay, saved by the black creature and its rider. Said rider was also wielding a fire sword, a possible quirk.

"Who are you?" The fire sword boy asked, he couldn't be more than a few years older than his current students.

"We're heroes," Aizawa deadpanned. He watched to gauge the reaction; the boy looked unfazed but some of his friends looked confused.

"Who do you work for?"

"The Hero Commission," Aizawa stated, watching as the look of confusion spread across a few more of the boy's friends faces.

Aizawa could hear Midoriya start to mumble behind him; "They should have recognized Endeavour as Japan's number 1 hero, but they don't even know who heroes are. Could we have been transported to an area that doesn't know Japan? But everyone seems to know Japan theses days with All Might's retirement. Maybe they don't have access to the internet? That could be why they're using old weapons like the sword an axe. Then could their quirks be responsible for making the creatures beside them like Tokoyami is with Dark Shadow?"

Ida put his hand on Midoriya's shoulder, "Not now, Midoriya," He sternly whispered.

"Sorry," He mumbled back.

"Do you work for Johan?" The fire sword boy asked.

"No."

"Krogan?"

"No."

"Viggo?"

"No." Aizawa was starting to get annoyed at the questions, something was really wrong, and he knew he wasn't going to like it.

"The Dragon Hunters?"

"No," Aizawa said. And for the first time the fire sword boys face faltered, he looked confused, but only for a second. The boy managed to recompose himself quickly and ask another question.

"Where are you from?"

"Japan."

"Uhh, what's Japan?" A blond holding a mace said.

This stunned all of the hero's, with the exception of one; "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN 'WHAT'S JAPAN!" Bakugo shouted, "IT'S ON EVERY MAP EVER!"

"Fishlegs, have you ever seen Japan on a map?" The fire sword kid asked, unfazed by Bakugo's outburst.

"N-no, Hiccup, I haven't," A larger boy holding a sword said.

Now it was the hero's turn to be confused, who didn't know of Japan?

"I've never heard it, not even in Johan's long winded stories," A dark haired boy with a massive hammer responded, "And I've heard a lot of Johans long winded stories."

"We get it, Snotlout," Hiccup said, "Where are you really from?"

Bakugo was about to blow another gasket but Kirishima and Kaminari, under the direction of Ida, were able to hold him back.

Aizawa pondered for a moment, then asked a question he should have asked a lo sooner; "What year is it?"

"On the Roman calendar it's 928," Hiccup said.

All of the heroes had a look of shock spread across their faces, even Endeavour couldn't keep is mask intact.

Aizawa sighed, "We are from over 1000 years in your future from a place called Japan."

"But that's impossible," A blond girl holding an axe said.

The rest of the gang dropped their guard, process what Aizawa had just said. Hiccup tried to find a way that they were lying, but everything made sense; The clothing they were wearing was weird, Kirishima and Midoriya weren't normal names, and their powers were unlike anything they had seen from dragons.

"As much as I hate to agree with Astrid, she's right," Snotlout said.

"But it makes sense," Hiccup said, turning towards Snotlout, "Have you heard anything like their names in the Northern Sea?"

"No," Snotlout said.

"Have you seen anything that their wearing around here?"

"No."

"And I'm pretty sure we would have heard from a trader if there were people who could fly without dragons."

"Hiccups right, guys," Fishlegs said, "They could be from a future where they have abilities instead of dragons."

"Thank you, Fishlegs."

Hiccup clicked off his fire sword and put it away taking a step closer to the heroes; "We got off on the wrong foot-"

"Because you only have one- OW!" Tuffnut, the one with the mace, said. But Astrid elbowed him hard in the gut, effectively shutting him up while the rest of the gang turned to glare at him for a second.

"We're Vikings. More specifically the Dragon Riders of Berk."

"Vikings! That's so cool!" Uraraka said.

Aizawa sighed, this was going to be a very long day.

A/N So... What did you think? I know it's not an update on A Rockfin Titan, I just haven't had the motivation to work on that one, bit I promise I will finish it. This fic was just nagging at me so it had to be written.
