[Naruto's POV]
It was mid summer. Though, it seemed to be longer than the last. I had woken up to my alarm clock but still layed in bed starting at the time. 'When will this day end?' I thought to myself. I didn't even get out of bed yet and wanted this day to end. Then I heard a strange knock on my door, forcing me to get up.
"Yeah? Who is it?" I asked, walking to the door while rubbing my eyes.
"It's me"
It was Kakashi-Senseì. Ever since Sasuke left the village after our fight Kakashi constantly stopped by to check on me. I never really understood why. I opened the door to see him standing there, eyes closed, hand in the air.
"Hey. Do you mind of I come in?" He asked.
"Sure...?" I questioned. Usually when Senseì stopped by he stood outside and asked how I was then left. This was a first.
"Naruto..." He started, "We need to talk about something."
I was confused. What could be so important that even my senseì would go out of his way to tell me? Especially since he's so busy with mission nowadays.
"It's about Sasuke.."
I froze. I could feel the sweat starting to build up in my forehead. Nobody really talked about Sasuke around me because they knew how I felt about him. Sasuke was my best friend; more importantly, he was like a brother to me. He was the only person in the whole village that would actually play with me or give me attention.
"S-Sasuke?"
"Yes Naruto... Sasuke." He said. Then, he sat down on the window ledge and looked outside. "Naruto... Sasuke has returned to the village."
I stood there, shocked. Returned to the village? What could have possibly happened to make him return.
Just then, one of the ANBU Black ops appeared. He had given Kakashi a scroll and then left. Kakashi opened up the scroll and read it.
Sasuke Uchiha has been put in the
holding cells underneath the village.
He will not be allowed to have any visitors.
Especially, Naruto until we know why he has
come back to the Leaf Village.
Kakashi sighed. He rubbed his nose bridge then let out an even bigger sigh.
Just then, he threw the scroll at me, "Looks like the Hokage isn't very fond of Sasuke being back in the village just yet."
