The plan to destroy Roxy was flimsy at best, if it can even be called a plan. It is more like a shot in the dark, and Gregory was more then willing to take it if it meant getting her off his tail. Take a go cart, lure her out, run her over with it in style.

'Yeahhhh. That will work. I think. I hope. Oh god I hope.

But of course, there were a few hiccups along the way, and they couldn't simply be ignored. For some ungodly reason there is a height limit on the cart, and he somehow didn't even make it to the minimum. If not for Freddy, he would have wasted his time trying to figure out how to get the thing going without being too low to see anything. Which in turn would give anything out for his blood enough time to find him and do as they wish. If he is being honest, as long as it's not the human in the rabbit costume he'll be alright with dying. At least the robots will probably make it quick.

'Probably, probably not. Still though, the goal is not to die in the first place.'

Thankfully Freddy tells him how to get a cart to work for him, he just needs a driver assistant bot. Sounds easy enough, right? WRONG! Of course its head was broken in some shape or form! He had to go through so much just to get one to work because nothing in this place seems to have been functioning by the time he arrived. The worst of it being that he almost got taken by an oversized abomination of a DJ that made him question everything that has led him up to this point. He even considered his plan to not be worth the trouble for some time, but since he got as far as he did, he might as well see it out.

Coming back to Roxy Raceway is thankfully uneventful, he has become something of an expert avoiding the generic security bots that often roamed around. He installs the head as carefully as he can. The paranoia of something going wrong comes back full force.

Should he really go through with this taped together plan? There were enough things that went wrong with this night already.

'What is one more?'

And with that line of reasoning, he hops in and begins to drive on the track. At first nothing interesting seems to happen. Which could be seen as a blessing in disguise now that he thinks about it. The cart is pretty loud, capable of attracting the attention of everything in the PizzaPlex if it cared to investigate. So the best worst-case scenario is afoot. Not really.

Unlike some robots she may know, Roxanne isn't stupid, far from it. It's just that her quest to be the best often clouds her judgement, she must have the recognition she so rightfully deserves. So when she heard her carts being used without her permission, something borderline primal went off within her.

'How dare someone use my carts! How dare they race without me! HOW DARE HE TAUNTS ME WITH MY OWN RACEWAY!'

She wasted no time to save her precious track from being defaced any further from the little intruder. Looking over the balcony from high up, she can see him driving around without any intention to stop. He even had the nerve to also look bored while doing it. At least she would get him first, unlike her braindead bandmates.

As he completes another lap around the track, she makes her move. She hops from the balcony all the way down on top of the cart he is driving. The impact startled him so bad that he swerved all over the track, immediately losing control of the cart. Before long she is thrown off as it starts to flip, the kid remaining stuck in the dangerous cart turned projectile. She lands with a hard knock to her head, all kinds of errors pop up, impairing her vision temporarily. Once it clears up, she looks around, she is laying in the middle of her track, all sorts of debris from the cart lay about. Some of the barriers are also bent and broken.

'My poor track! Don't worry, I'll fix you!'

She frantically picks up all the pieces and attempts to put them back together, to no avail. All she could really 'fix' was forcing the bent metal pieces back to how it was, which is no easy feat even for her. It isn't until she saw the hideous hole in the wall when she remembered who caused it in the first place, the dust hasn't even settled yet.

"You…you ruined my track. My pride and joy. How could you!?" She wants to cry, but showing weakness to a kid is bad for her image.

She stomps menacingly to the hole, moving past all the dust that is obscuring her from seeing him. What she found isn't a pretty sight. The kid is bleeding profusely and is trapped beneath the cart's crushing weight with all sorts of nasty gashes and bruises on his arms and body, but despite that he still tries to push it off with all the remaining strength he has. He looks up and sees Roxanne staring at him, then begins to hyperventilate. His efforts increase but with no different result. Roxy, meanwhile, looks on with disbelief. This wasn't supposed to happen. He was meant to stop the cart, not go faster, even worse lose control. She rushes to him despite his screams piercing her ears, she lifts then tosses the cart away without missing a beat. He looks even worse with nothing hiding the true extent of his injuries, they all extend to his legs too, with one in particular having almost been completely crushed. He probably wouldn't be walking for a while.

'This is all my fault!'

She carefully picks up the wailing child and scrambles to get to the first aid station in the utility tunnels. No amount of words would express how much she regrets her stupid plan, if she just thought about the possibilities just a little bit more, none of this would have happened. Reaching the first aid station doesn't do much to lift her spirits, she tears it apart bringing every single object that could help patch him up. She gently sets him down on a nearby seat and begins to work on his wounds. He never stops screaming in pain or trying to push her away as she works to make him feel better.

'I did this. How could I? I've never hurt a child before.'

She gently grips his shoulders muttering 'I'm sorry' to him endlessly. What would the rest of the gang say? Would they even want to be friends with her anymore, knowing that she hurt a child so readily? Would she be scrapped?

'Don't think about it. Don't think about it. Don't think about it.'

"You'll be okay, I didn't mean for any of this to happen to you." She looked down at her paws, they were covered in his innocent blood. Whatever his intentions were while in her raceway or the PizzaPlex as a whole didn't matter anymore. She made a grave mistake and will not run away from it. Once the screams turn into much quieter whimpers, she feels ready to talk to him again.

"Can you walk for me?" She steps back to give some room to put a few steps in. He stays put, too scared to move.

"What are you going to do to me?" His voice is shredded raw. He is still afraid of her; it hurts more then she lets on.

"Just walk for me. Please?" He unsteadily put his 'good' leg forward, which still hurts to move mind you, but at least it was manageable. However, the other wasn't so lucky. It brought an indescribable amount of pain to move it so suddenly. His leg buckled beneath him but is thankfully caught by Roxy before he can touch the ground.

"I…I can't walk." He mutters to himself. Despite that clarity though, he still tries to power through the pain to take just one step with his bad leg.

'My mistake just keeps on getting worse!'

"Stop! You are only going to hurt yourself even more!" She holds him above the ground, being mindful of his injuries. "I'll keep you safe until your parents come to pick you up."

"You won't be able to." He hisses out. Roxanne doesn't understand.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"You can't find someone if they don't exist." He spits out venomously.

The silence thereafter is deafening, she was already upset for causing his injuries. Finding out he didn't have anyone to look up to? Heartbreaking.

"What happens now?" He asked, breaking her out of her inner thoughts.

"I don't know…what do you want to happen?"

"Just keep the rabbit away from me. Please? She wants to kill me."

"What rabbit? You mean there is another intruder in the PizzaPlex!?"

"Yes! For some reason I'm the only one who is able to see her! So please believe me when I say that she is here somewhere hunting for me much like Monty and Chica! Or even you."

"Is Freddy not included in that list?" She asked, feeling awful about being called a hunter.

"If not for him, I would be gone. In more ways then one."

'Maybe he is the reason why we never caught him ourselves.'

"Can you take me to his room?" His voice is soft and meek, Gregory has had enough of running around, not like could anymore anyway.

"If he isn't there, I'll keep you with me."

"Oh, don't worry about that, I ha…" He trails off as he looks at his wrist. His Fazwatch has been destroyed, his gift from Freddy. His first ever gift, and he destroys it. "No…No."

Roxanne finally learned how he is always one step ahead of them.

"Hey, it'll be alright. Freddy is nothing if not understanding."

"Can we just leave the tunnels now?" He is greatly distraught from the destruction of his watch.

"Of course. Where do you want to go?" Gregory rests his head on her shoulder trying to control his ragged breathing.

"Lets just go to the rooms. Yours, Freddies, I don't care. Just please keep me safe." He is much calmer, but still very much in pain.

"You'll be fine, no evil rabbit thing will get near you as long as I'm around." She begins to walk up the stairs with Gregory holding on tightly. "And if I hadn't said it already. I'm sorry."

AN: This was envisioned to be another one-shot, but as I wrote it, I realized it could be more then that. However, I still think someone else could make this make this scenario much more interesting then I ever could
