After the days of training, Ash has been starting to scare his trainers with how fast he is picking up the skills, with his sword fighting he can take Felix down half the time they fight, and with his reason magic, he can use the basic spells 'fire', 'wind', 'blizzard', and 'thunder' which shocked Dorothea and Mercedes as people usually can only use one or two elements, that and his spells are a lot stronger than most others.

When asked about this Ash says that he doesn't know what is happening and that he is just as confused but he has a feeling that there will be something that will reveal why he can do these things.

Now Byleth is asking Ash's trainers how he is progressing

"He is a natural I feel like he could beat all most all of the knights here and be able to last awhile with you," Felix commented.

"He can somehow use the 4 basic elemental spells with no problem and they are abnormally powerful," Dorothea mentioned because it is a very rare thing to be able to use more than two elemental spell groups.

"Whenever he was injured he looked like he could heal without the use of a faith spell," Mercedes said with a small amount of awe in her voice.

"So despite not being in an area where his skills are needed, he can fight still like he was able to earlier..." Byleth mumbled impressed by that.

"I mean, he is still a little rusty because otherwise, he would be defeating me each fight and quite quickly at that," Felix mentioned with a small amount of annoyance.

"That is true he was a menace to fight as he always seemed to know what to do and it didn't help that he was raised using weapons just to survive," Mercedes agreed.

"Really? I did not know that." Byleth said in shock.

"Yeah, apparently he is of noble birth but was orphaned near the monastery and started causing trouble but was so good at hiding and leaving no tracks that the knights struggled to bring him to the Archbishop," Dorothea said.

"Well thank you three for helping him, you can go and sleep as it is getting quite late so that you are ready for your missions in the coming days." Byleth thanked the three students.

As the students go and leave to head to their rooms Byleth sees a figure perched on a rooftop looking at her, alarming her as the person is in a crouched position on the roof of the dining hall and has no issue with being up there. As Byleth tries to get a better look at the figure they start to jump from on the roof heading to the area where the cathedral is but one thing Byleth notices is the scarf they are wearing around their neck seems to be moving in a way that does look like the wind is moving it.

Timeskip

As morning rolls around Ash starts to wake with the sun and he decides that it would be best for him to start getting ready for the mission that they are heading on today. While he is getting ready he thinks about the gun he found and thinks that it might be able to help in the mission so he decides to bring it but not before hiding it underneath his clothes while making it look like there is nothing hidden in his clothes.

After about five minutes of changing Ash leaves his room and as he is heading out to the dining hall he spots the same figure that Byleth saw but instead of being shocked, he smiles and gestures to the figure to come down to him and when the figure does so.

"So Greninja, how was the patrol of the area?" Ash asks when the figure is next to him.

"Gren"

"That's good well take a rest," As Ash says this he returns Greninja to his ball and then continues his journey to the dining hall, as he enters the hall he hears someone calling his name.

"Ashura!"

"Hmm?" Ash hums in confusion while turning to where the voice came from, he sees a female who is quite short and has green hair, she is wearing a dress that looks like the academy uniform.

"Ashura, you're back!" As she yells this she rushes over to Ash and hugs him making him a little uncomfortable.

"Um, sorry but who are you? My memory is a little rough" Ash apologetically asks, as he is hating his lack of memories.

"Oh, apologies, my name is Flayn I am Seteth's little sister," the girl introduces herself

Ash smiles at her before saying, "Well nice to meet you Flayn, I'm just going to grab some food before I go on the mission with the Black Eagles."

As Ash goes and grabs some food and sits with Flayn they start to chat about all of the things that they have seen in the monastery and a few other places. But when they were about to discuss where Ash had been sent, someone calls for Ash.

"Ashura the Professor needs us."

Looking over to where the voice came from he yells back, "Ok I'm on my way Casper!"

Nodding Casper comments, "Great we can finally have some action!"

Chuckling Ash starts to walk over and joins Casper in heading to the entrance hall where the rest of the Black Eagles and Byleth are waiting. Upon noticing Ash and Casper walking to the semi-circle that has Edelgard in the center Byleth says, "Thanks Casper for getting Ashura for me."

"No problem he wasn't that hard to find as he was eating with Flayn," Casper says with a smile on his face.

Getting approval from Byleth, Edelgard starts to speak, "I just received word from the knights. They've located the bandits."

Hubert picking up from where Edelgard stopped speaking says, "It seems they have them cornered. They are in Zanado, the Red Canyon."

As some of the Eagles start to talk about nerves and their excitement over the fight Byleth notices something with the Eagles and mentions it, "You all seem excited to get out there."

Seeing one of the knights that are going to be going with them head out of the building, Edelgard says, "It's time, Professor. Give us our orders, and let's move out."

Agreeing with that thought Byleth, Ash, and the Black Eagles all head out of the monastery to where there are carriages that are prepared to take the students and their Professor to where their mission is taking place at. Zanado the Red Canyon.
