Frankie was taking out her frustration out on the invading ships, wiping the sweat off her forehead. She couldn't keep count. But seeing the ship explode was a joy for all the rotten dreams.
The defenses part of the Palace was soon intruded as the big circular window shattered by an object thrown in.
Landing, it made a growl. The Monster has made it's way inside. The Bears ran away from the controls as it leaped to one, destroying it.
It crawl towards the group of Teddy Bears, licking it sharp teeth with that green long tongue.
Frankie got up from her seat, sneaking behind the monster. Grabbing a broken brick, she throws it at the head.
"Why don't you pick on someone your size!"
Turning around, it growled at her. Parts of her was regretting the decision. She shallow her fears and stood tall. Even though the Demon was taller and beefy.
"You know who I am? You've been haunting me in my dreams! Now, I'm going to haunt you."
The Demon laughed before slamming it's massive hands on the floor, cracking it.
Frankie raised her fist, ready to punch one of those stupid teeth out of it's mouth.
Before the fight can begin, the Monstrosity was sent in the air, flying through the roof and out of the Palace.
The Redhead stood there, shocked on her face. "Ye-Yeah, you better fly off, bitch!"
"You're welcome?"
Looking forward, she smile, leaping into the arms of Dodger who was back to normal. He ignored her squeezing him to death.
"As much as I don't want this to end, we got bigger fish to fry."
"I know. But you need this" said Frankie, breaking the embrace. Her face was red and burning.
Danny went over to the Humans. "Glad to see you okay, Dodger. But, The Nightmare is closing in to the Dragon Rune."
"There has to be another way in to stop them" said Dodger.
Lyn was doing her best to stop the creatures from entering the room. Even though she was a Goddess, she was running on fumes.
Taking punches from an armored turtle, she fell on the floor. It stomped on her back while two devil dogs held her arms.
The bipedal dogs known as Warlocks chanted, waving their wands. The Nightmare flashed a smile as he was close to retrieving the Dragon Rune.
The large door fell on the floor, opening to a dark room.
Lyn used her legs and push the reptile off her back. She smash her arms together, giving the red dogs a noggin knocker. Summoning her weapon, she threw it with all her might at The Nightmare.
The Dream Wrecker turn his body without looking and watched her weapon enter the room.
"Lyn, you missed. You tired, you failed. The Teddy Bears failed. Your husband Dodger failed. Bianca failed."
The Nightmare smiled as he proceed into the room. With every step, he had an uneasy feeling that he found odd for him to feel.
The room slowly light up. This was it. It was the Dragon Rune. "Come to daddy."
The Monsters and the Goddess watched on for the inevitable. Something shot out of the room. It was The Nightmare covered in smoke.
The Warlocks went to help their boss, but they stood still. A few seconds later, the heads fell off their body.
The Lightning Goddess notice her bolt sliding back to her. With a joy yet painful chuckle, she smiled. "No I didn't."
Walking out of the room was a being wearing an red body suit with black sleeves on it's arms, black boots, and fire erupting on it's hands and hair.
It was Dodger.
"Oh yeah, all of you are in trouble now" Lyn spoke up.
Dodger eyed the room with his flame irises. "Monster's, I hate to inform you all. But you're dead."
Leaping in the air, Lyn and him battle against the Devil Dogs and Turtles. Dodger was ruthless than usual, throwing the canines at one another. A turtle shot a fire ball to his back.
He charged at the steel shell reptile, pry open its mouth and send a stream of fire into it, frying its insides like barbecue.
The other creatures paid attention to the fight, seeing its comrades fall with smoke coming out every hole in it's body.
Without hesitation, he blast the monsters with his fire beam from his hands, melting them into a evil stew. The boy even took out Lyn's side of enemies, even with a lightning-fire combination beam.
"I'm so glad you're okay" The Goddess said, hugging Dodger. But he didn't accept it as he wanted something more than a hug.
The Nightmare try to run off and escape. He was going to be in trouble if he went back to his boss. Standing in front was trouble, who stepped on his long claw finger, breaking it.
"Let me guess. You want me to beg for my life? Haha, I won't."
Dodger didn't say a word. Just stare at the monster who haunted his dreams.
"Trust me, Dodger. I'm as worst than Ripto. He's going to make sure everything you love is burned. Your home, your planet, your family are going to die and you have no one to blame but yourself."
Putting his hand together, the Human blast The Nightmare with his fire blast. He wanted to hear a scream of pain.
Instead, it was all laughter.
After a minute, Dodger stop and stare at the huge black mark on the floor where The Nightmare was laying.
A hand touched his shoulder, causing him to charge up for another blast. But it was Lyn who stepped back a few feet.
"It's okay, Dodger. It's over."
"For now. Whoever this Ripto guy is, he never met a guy like me and he just pissed me off."
