This chapter is going to advance the Runeterra storyline in a big way, so hope everyone's excited.

Chapter 4- Fall of Demacia

Runeterra, Demacia

Blade took out a gun from under his trenchcoat and fired at Vayne who did a flip to avoid and fired her own bolt from her crossbow.

Blade turned as the bolt nearly grazed his cheek. Turning with a sharp look, he glared.

"Ready to die, monster?" Vayne snarled, drawing a sword.

Blade drew his own sword and cracked his neck. "I was born ready, motherfucker."

With that, the two charged at each other, their swords clashing. Vayne, jumped back, surprised at the speed and ferocity of her opponent. She had smelt him earlier and he obviously wasn't human.

That and the fact that he appeared in a bright flash of light didn't exactly prove otherwise.

Blade was as cool as ice, calmly blocking Vayne's increasingly frantic strikes as he began forcing Vayne back.

She tried to kick at his legs but he lashed out a punch that made her drop her guard slightly.

Blade thrust forward and Vayne barely parried, staggering back.

"Bloody hell." She muttered.

He kicked out her legs and she fell down, rolling away, but before she could get up, Blade was on her, ready to strike.

Before he could however, a blast of energy struck the bridge they were on, causing it to collapse as the two fell.

Wanda hovered in the air above the city, gazing down as people screamed in panic.

"Pathetic imps." She muttered.

Blade staggered up, looking around as the Black Mist swarmed the city.

"What the fuck?" he wondered. A Wraith jumped out of the Mist at him. Before it could grab him, a silver bolt destroyed it.

He turned to see Vayne aiming the crossbow.

"Seems we have a common enemy." Blade commented.

"For now," Vayne said gruffly. "But when this is over, I'll kill you."

"You can try." He shrugged without a care in the world.

Some Wraiths began charging towards them and Blade twirled his sword, slicing into one effortlessly.

Pulling out a shotgun from underneath his trenchcoat, he began firing, the rounds destroying the Wraiths effortlessly.

Twirling the shotgun, he smacked another Wraith with it, allowing Vayne to destroy it with a silver bolt.

The two moved, killing any Wraiths they encountered along the way.

Sensing something, Vayne narrowly avoided a spear being flung at her. Turning, the pair saw Xin Zhao move out of the shadows, a spectral crown on his head.

"Xin? I thought you served Jarvan? What are you doing?" Vayne frowned.

"I serve the Ruined King!" Xin Zhao bellowed.

Blade rolled his eyes. "Leave him to me."

Xin Zhao attacked and Blade dodged, concealing his surprise. Xin Zhao was much faster than he had anticipated, and even faster than Vayne.

Blade deflected spear strikes with his sword, while Xin Zhao did a spin, a slice almost taking out the Daywalker's throat.

Blade struck and Xin Zhao parried, slamming a punch into Blade's face. He staggered slightly and went on the offensive.

Xin Zhao did a small flip and landed, performing a spinning kick. Blade leaned back to avoid and kicked Xin Zhao in the abdomen, sending him back.

Thor hovered in the sky, an unreadable look on his face. Below, he saw the two Sentinels of Light, Lucian and Senna battling the Half-Dragon Shyvana.

"Fools." He muttered.

As he hovered in the air, there was a loud crack.

BOOM!

The sky itself seemed to split open and a winged being descended. It was a woman, garbed in gold and silver armor, a helmet covering her face and four white wings behind her.

She carried a glowing sword in her hand.

"Halt, you fiend!" she cried out. "I am Kayle, the Righteous! Greatest of the Aspects! Defender of Demacia! And I will not let you pass!"

Thor turned to look at Wanda who shrugged.

"Kill her." She flicked her wrist.

Without a warning, Thor fired powerful lightning from Stormbreaker which struck Kayle in the chest, sending her flying back.

The battle had begun.

Lucian coughed up some blood as he stared at the unconscious form of Shyvana.

"She's a tough bastard." He said to Senna who chuckled.

"Aye, that's Dragons for you."

SLAM!

The wall nearby fell down as Blade and Xin Zhao tumbled out of it, both still fighting.

"Um, Lucian?" Senna pointed ahead. Two figures walked out of the mist and Lucian's eyes widened.

"Jarvan? Garen?" he called out.

"We serve the Ruined King." Garen smirked.

Blade managed to knock Xin Zhao away and stood up, wiping some dust off his shoulder.

"Oh come the fuck on." Senna rolled her eyes as Vayne ran up to them.

"Hey, go." Blade called out to them as he faced the three Ruined warriors.

Above, Thor blocked a frenzied strike from Kayle and hit her with Stormbreaker, sending her flying through a building.

Faster than she could react, Thor flew and picked her up by the throat, slamming her and destroying the ground.

Kayle kicked him, sending him into the air. Taking off, she rammed into Thor, the two in the upper atmosphere.

Thor sliced her with Stormbreaker, creating a huge gash in the armor, as Kayle stabbed but he leaned away to avoid.

With one hand, he punched Kayle, her head snapping back as he hit her with the ax.

Grabbing her by the throat, he hurled her at the ground and she crashed, forming a massive crater.

Seeing a nearby mountain, Thor flew towards it, and gripping it, tore the entire mountain range out of the ground.

"Oh no." Kayle gulped as she saw Thor holding the mountain range. Before she could react, he slammed the entire mountain on top of her.

"That should do the trick." Thor smirked, before grunting. The green lightning reverted back to it's original blue form before quickly turning back.

The mountain exploded and Kayle flew out of it, slamming into Thor, punching and kicking him.

Thor gripped both of her wrists to hold her. Kayle winced, feeling as if he was going to snap her wrists at any moment.

As she wrestled with him, a pair of tendrils latched around her head.

"AHH!"

Kayle let out a scream as she tried to resist, but Wanda whispered inside her mind.

"Let go. Give in." She whispered. Kayle's eyes rolled back into her mind as her grip loosened, spectral crown over her head.

Kayle was now corrupted.

Blade fought Garen, Jarvan and Xin Zhao at the same time, the entire area a whirlwind of steel.

Despite being able to keep up with them, Blade was tiring, as the three of them were very skilled fighters.

Jarvan delivered a kick to Blade's abdomen and he staggered back. Garen leapt to deliver the killing blow but Blade rolled to avoid.

"Some motherfuckers are always tryna ice-skate uphill." He said, kicking up the sword and spin kicking it.

The sword flew and impaled itself in Garen's abdomen. The Might of Demacia fell to his knees as Blade leapt and kneed him in the face, wrenching the sword clear.

"We must go!" Senna shouted as she aimed a teleporter at him, and Blade disappeared in a flash of light.

Jarvan smirked.

"Cowards. Let them run." He sneered.

Demacia had fallen.

Blade and Vayne glared at each other in the Sentinel base.

"Hey! Both of you enough!" Senna snapped.

"Viego is tearing across the world, and we need to stop him." Lucian said, worry in his tone.

"What world did you say you were from?" Senna asked Blade.

"Earth-199999." He replied.

"Didn't Yasuo say he went to that Earth recently?" Senna asked thoughtfully.

"Regardless," Lucian intervened. "Blade, Shauna, are you with us?"

"Don't call me Shauna," Vayne glared. "But yes. Viego is causing too much trouble and it is my job to kill monsters like him, so yeah, I'm in."

"I just need to get back to my Earth, but if I have to kill Viego to do so, then I'll join you." Blade shrugged.

"Good. Welcome to the Sentinels of Light," Senna smirked. "Fiora and Quinn should be here soon too."

Earth-1, Gotham City

There was a flash of light and two figures appeared in an alley. The first was dressed in dark armor with two glowing red eyes.

The second was shirtless and carried a glowing scythe, his dark hair tied in a ponytail.

"Wait, where the fuck are we?" Sheida Kayn, the Shadow Reaper looked around.

"I don't think we're in Ionia anymore." Zed, the Master of Shadows said grimly.

"How did we get to Piltover?" Kayn frowned.

"This isn't Piltover."

"How do you know?"

"Look at the buildings," Zed pointed. "Piltover is advanced, but this is beyond anything they possess. I don't even think we're on Runeterra anymore."

"Think we might be on another Earth?" Kayn asked.

"Seems like it."

Kayn groaned. "Oh for God's sake."

And done.

So Blade and Vayne have joined the Sentinels for now and Garen, Jarvan IV, Kayle, Shyvana and Xin Zhao have all been Ruined.

Kayle is powerful, but she's arrogant, so she underestimated Thor and his power, which is why he wiped her face with a mountain.

And Demacia has now fallen. The first of Runeterra's regions to fall.

So Vayne, Fiora and Quinn are Sentinels. Honestly, the fact that not even half the champions appeared in the canon event was annoying, it was like they didn't even exist.

Kayn and Zed have now ended up in Gotham City on Earth-1, which obviously means they will run into the local vigilantes, which should be fun.

Blade is powerful, but as stated, the three of them are ridiculously strong, so while he could hold his own, he would struggle a bit. Not to say he's weak though.

Also, this won't be the last time Vayne and Blade will try to kill each other.
