Chapter 4: This is why you can't have nice things.
Watching a meteor fall through the atmosphere was kinda cool, Kakarot thought as the group of Z-Fighters waited for things to begin. Everyone was either watching the two orbs coming down or meditating to get into the proper mental state. Then there was Gohan, who was still checking out the new clothes he'd been gifted and trying to get 'Mr. Piccolo' to acknowledge him as his student.
The poor kid, his mother got a hold of him long enough to style his hair into a bowl cut. It was not flattering at all.
When the two pods crashed into the ground, everyone focused their attention on them and waited for the doors to open and reveal the kind of people they'd be dealing with.
"David and Goliath," Kakarot murmured when he got his first visual of the two Saiyans stepping out. Piccolo gave him a strange look, but he ignored it. "Let's introduce ourselves to our guests, shall we?", he spoke out to the group as he strolled forward in a lazy fashion, his hands in his pockets and his shoulders slumped a bit. Everyone followed behind him. Except for Yajirobe. He'd already bolted once he got a sense of how strong the stronger of the two Saiyans was.
The smaller of the two warriors noticed them approaching first. "Well well, it seems we have a welcoming committee, Nappa. How convenient for us. They'll be able to tell us where the Dragon Balls are so we can make our wish before destroying this pathetic little planet," the small-statured Saiyan with the most pronounced widow's peak anyone had ever seen commented to his massive companion.
Nappa just chuckled in delight at the carnage he planned to enjoy while tapping the scouter over his left ear. Getting a reading, he scoffed. "None of these are the ones that killed Raditz, Vegeta. The strongest one isn't even showing 250," he complained. While he didn't mind picking on weaklings, he was a bully, after all, he preferred to have the option to play around with them first.
The now-named Vegeta just took the scouter off and scoffed as well. "Don't trust what the scouter says, Nappa. These Earthlings have learned to suppress their energy. It's what got the weakling, Raditz, killed."
Kakarot gave them a wave at that point. "Hey there, Saiyan people! Welcome to Earth! Home to a host of wonderful cities, people, magic wishing balls, and fighters who are more than happy to kick your ass if you so much as harm a fly," he cheerfully welcomed them. With his hair buzzed on the sides and back of his head, and the remainder of it cut down into short spikes, he barely, even remotely, resembled their former teammate. And with his tiger pelt hiding his tail, which was wrapped around him underneath it, they couldn't see that he was a Saiyan like them.
Vegeta laughed like he'd said the funniest thing in the galaxy. "Indeed! Such a wonderful place to visit. I assume then that you're about to hand over those magic wishing balls, then?"
Kakarot scratched his chin in thought. "Hmmm. Tell you what. There's a nice empty valley over that way," he pointed behind the two invaders, "...that we can use to continue this conversation. If you'll just follow us."
Vegeta continued to seem amused, but Nappa wasn't known for his patience. "Or, I can start massacring everyone on the planet until you just give us what we want, weakling." He started to walk over to the crest of a nearby hill. "I'll begin with that over there, I think." And then he started to channel his energy. "VOLCANO EXPLO…"
Tien's fist buried itself into his armored stomach, shattering the material, folding the giant in half as his feet lifted off the ground, and forcing him to throw up bile before he nearly bit off his own tongue. Then he landed on his knees and struggled to breathe for almost a full minute.
Still scratching his chin, Kakarot didn't even look over to where the larger Saiyan had fallen. "...Yeah, I think we should go over there for this conversation. Otherwise, the ass kickery starts here, and I'd rather not get civilians involved. They always find some way to muck things up." Vegeta stared at his subordinate in open shock, having barely been able to see the speed that the tri-clops had used when he moved. He nodded after several seconds had passed, realizing they were waiting for his acquiescence. "Wonderful."
The group just walked passed the Prince of all Saiyans, not bothered at all that they were exposing their backs to him before jumping into the air and flying off in the direction they'd indicated. Vegeta looked back at Nappa and muttered, "What have we gotten ourselves into now?"
Within five minutes, the nine of them were standing in a large valley, with plateaus and small mountains surrounding them on either side. Nappa had managed to recover but was still holding his gut and wincing a bit as he breathed. With everyone present, Vegeta demanded to know what they wanted to talk about. Krillin was the one to reply.
"Well, since you came to Earth with the intention to kill and murder until you got your wish, we're trying to be accommodating. You can start your killing spree against us. We're just waiting on one more before we start, if you're good waiting for a few hours," he explained while clearing out some wax from his ear. "On a side note, is it as annoying for you as it is for me that everyone you grew up with is a towering giant?"
Vegeta's eye started twitching. He hated people talking about his height but could forgive the honest question from someone even smaller than he. "Until they realize that I can kill them without effort," he answered. "Who are we waiting for?"
Gohan piped up in excitement. "My Daddy!"
"...That tells me nothing, kid," came the response.
Kakarot leaned over and spoke to Piccolo for a moment. The green man let out a sigh but nodded. "If you'll deactivate your scouters, specifically the transmitters on them, we'll answer a few questions," he told them. Vegeta's eyebrow, the one that had finally stopped twitching, rose. "You do realize that anything we say gets sent back to your boss?"
Sharing a look with Nappa, he agreed and shut his scouter off. Nappa was only a little slower, still wincing when he moved. He nodded when it was done.
"Now start talking," Vegeta demanded.
They all turned to Krillin, who grumbled about drawing the short straw. Vegeta's eye started twitching again, thinking they were making fun of him. "So, the 'kid' is Son Gohan, and his 'Daddy' is Son Goku. Raditz's brother."
Vegeta thought that through before his twitching stopped and his eyes went wide. "You wished him back? It actually works?"
Krillin snorted. "Of course it works. We've used the Dragon Balls for years to help resolve issues that crop up over time." He took another breath. "One wish with them, and then they go dormant for a year." The Saiyans froze.
"You mean…"
"But then…"
With a bright smile, Krillin confirmed it. "That you'd have to wait a year to even get a chance at your wish? That's right!"
Not that the group was surprised at the following outbursts, but only Kakarot, Piccolo, and Tien had been expecting what followed. A primal roar of rage, an impressive power spike, and then the giant Nappa lunged forward, ignoring the cries of alarm from his boss.
"YOU MONGRELS! I'LL KILL YOU ALL FOR TAKING IT AWAY FROM US!", he bellowed as he charged forward at who he felt was the weakest link. Gohan took a slight step back before bracing himself for what was about to happen. "GAAAAHHHHH!"
What happened was Tien, once more, folded the man in half, though this time he didn't hold back and released a massive Ki blast as he connected fully. Nappa was launched like a shot from a railgun, careening through two hills, a dozen trees, and decimating the cliff face he was eventually embedded into. If that wasn't bad enough, the follow-up was an enraged Piccolo who unleashed an almost unending barrage of body blows that he couldn't see, let alone dodge or deflect. By the time he was finished, the Saiyan known as Nappa was a completely broken man. Almost every bone in his body had been shattered, and he was bleeding all over. Internally, too.
Vegeta stared at the result, and for the first time since meeting the being known as Beerus, or seeing the power of Frieza himself, he was terrified. He'd come to this backwater planet expecting little to no real resistance.
"So…we're a little protective of the little guy. Not that he couldn't have handled it on his own, considering he's the second strongest one here, but he's still young and not used to big, smelly men raging at him," Kakarot drawled. "Not to mention, that's the second time your buddy has tried to pull something. The first time he got a warning, so the second was a little more…decisive."
Vegeta had to force himself to be calm. Everything could still be salvaged. Now that he'd come here, he was able to recognize the Namekian in the group for what he was. The Dragon Clan. His mind started working as fast as possible to see how he could get out of this in one piece. As much as he despised it, he might have to barter, trade, or…
"I will not beg," he whispered to himself, cursing as he noticed the Namekian smile. Of course the damn insect could hear him. "You said you wanted to wait for this…Son Goku. And he's the one we call Kakarot?", he asked, trying to buy himself some more time to make a plan.
The group chuckled, like they were in on some joke he wasn't privy to. Yamcha spoke up at that point. "Son Goku was born with the name Kakarot, yes. It's not who he is though. Not anymore."
Vegeta was riled up when he heard that. "Why, is he too good to recognize where he came from? A low-class Saiyan, too good to use his own given name?"
At that point, everyone else glanced at Kakarot, who just shrugged. "Not particularly. Goku had the misfortune of cracking his head when he first arrived here and forgot all about his heritage and where he came from," came the surprisingly frank response. Vegeta remembered hearing some of it before. "Then, when he died fighting Raditz, the Dragon Balls were used to do something…radical."
The Saiyan Prince frowned. "Define radical." The more information he had, the better he could plan.
"Well, when he was younger, Goku went and trained with the Guardian of Earth, the one who created the Dragon Balls. Part of that training involved Kami's attendant creating a doll from some hair taken from Goku's head." Vegeta nodded slowly, indicating he was following along. "So the doll was something of a clone, but only for training purposes. So, Kami and his attendant wished the doll to life, with all of Son Goku's memories. Unknown to them, even the memories he'd lost."
That's when Vegeta made the connection. He finally saw the similar facial structure, the texture of the man's hair, and even the blackness of the eyes. "You…", he whispered.
Kakarot smiled. "Me. Since Son Goku didn't remember who he was, I decided to take the name Kakarot for myself. And we've been preparing for your arrival ever since."
Everyone saw it. The moment Vegeta knew he'd lost. It would have been heartbreaking to see, if he hadn't arrived on Earth intent on destroying anything and everything to get what he wanted. He just fell to his knees and pounded the earth with his fists, screaming. Nobody stopped him. Nobody even approached him.
"What do I do now?", he said hollowly. Kakarot was surprised to see the man like this. Utterly defeated before he even got started. Then he thought back to everything he knew about the Saiyan Prince and got an idea.
"Well, you haven't done anything to warrant an ass-kicking. Yet. Your buddy over there will most likely rest there for the rest of his short life, but we have no reason to keep you here against your will," Kakarot said, getting surprised looks from everyone but Piccolo. He understood some of what the short man felt, having that same level of pride in himself not too long ago.
Vegeta growled at him. "I will not accept your pity," he spat out.
Kakarot shook his head. "Not what I was going to give you. Pity is overrated. Opportunities, though. Those are worth something." The Saiyan Prince was watching him warily from his place on the ground. "We told you we were waiting for Son Goku to arrive, and out of everyone here, he's the biggest fighting nut we have. He'll want to duke it out with you just on principle. So, here's the deal. You fight him, without trying to transform, and you can leave if you survive."
They all watched the Saiyan think it through before nodding his acceptance. "So be it."
Everyone started to loosen up after that, except for Piccolo who went back over to where Nappa was. He came back and shook his head, indicating that the man had not survived his injuries. Nobody seemed too upset by that. Not even Vegeta.
Kakarot pulled out a capsule and tossed it out. After a small *poof* and some smoke, everyone saw a small fridge appear. He walked over, opened it up, and pulled out a bottle of water that he tossed over to Piccolo, followed by another drink he kept for himself. "If you're thirsty, go ahead and grab something. I'd imagine it'll be a while before he gets here."

King Kai was watching everything happening on Earth with interest. He'd been amazed at the increased strength of each of the planet's warriors since Goku's death, and marveled that it all spawned from the mind of his student's clone. Then he heard what said individual suggested, and he frowned in thought.
It was clear that he wanted this Vegeta to survive for some reason. Not for Vegeta's sake, but for everyone else's. Then he remembered who Vegeta worked for, and things started making sense.
"Goku, can you hear me?", he asked after sending out his senses to where his latest student was rushing as quickly as possible to meet up with Kami.
"Is that you, King Kai?", Goku replied in amazement.
"Yes. Listen, Goku. I want you to do something for me before you have Kami take you back to the living world."
"What's that? I thought I was pressed for time already," Goku asked.
"It's not going to be a problem. Your friends currently have things under control. Here's what I want you to do…"

"Kami, are you there?"
"King Kai? Is Goku waiting for me already?", Kami asked politely.
"No, he still has a little ways to go, but I was wondering if you could do me a favor. Ask Korin for one of his special beans, and bring it with you when you go to pick him up. I want him to try something before his presence is felt back in the living world." King Kai informed him.
"Consider it done," Kami said as he rose to his feet.

It was almost three and a half hours before they felt the telltale signs of Son Goku's Ki once again on Earth. All of them, bar Vegeta who hadn't learned Ki sensing and didn't have his scouter turned on at the moment, were amazed at how strong he felt. None of them were as surprised as Kakarot, who was frowning in confusion.
"How did he…", he muttered softly. Then he shook his head. "Doesn't matter. The outcome won't change." He looked over at Vegeta. "You can use your scouter now, if you'd like."
The Saiyan Prince didn't hesitate to turn it on and start scanning everyone again. Everyone in front of him was in the low to mid-200s, which he knew to be a lie. The way they'd taken out Nappa so easily and so quickly put them around his own strength, possibly even greater. It's why he hadn't pushed them so far. He'd lose a battle of attrition, and they'd forced him to leave his Attack Ball behind. Then he saw a new signal pop up on the screen, and his eyes opened wide in near shock. "How can it be possible…?", he asked in a near whisper.
A jump from 400 to 13,250 in a year, by a dead man, was way more than he was expecting.
"You alright there? Mind telling us how strong Goku's become? Don't leave us in suspense, man!", Yamcha called out.
"...It's over 13,000," the invader growled. He turned to look at Kakarot. "Certainly impressive, but nowhere near my own strength. By your own word, I'll leave this planet once he's dead at my feet."
Kakarot shrugged, seemingly unconcerned. "That was the agreement." He tilted his head to the side. "Mind telling us why you so quickly opted for escape instead of trying your luck earlier? I thought you wanted immortality or something like it."
Vegeta scoffed, but his eyes glanced back to the Namekian. "Just a story I heard, once upon a time. Nothing important."
Still tilted to the side, Kakarot glanced over at Piccolo as well. "Then why do you keep looking over at Piccolo, here?" That question got everyone's attention. "Something you feel like sharing with the rest of us?"
Clicking his tongue in aggravation, Vegeta looked away. "Why would I look at the Namekian?"
"Namekian?", Piccolo called out curiously. "What the hell is a Namekian?" Kakarot felt like cheering inside. The story would continue after this battle, just like it needed to.
Vegeta's eyes went wide for a moment before narrowing into a scowl. "You don't even know what you are? Did you think Saiyans were the only other race in the galaxy?" He scoffed. "There must be plenty more of your kind on your home planet, Namekian. You're not special, or unique. Just one of thousands."
Krillin, bless the man, caught on first. "And that's where you want to go! You've already made the connection between Piccolo and the Dragon Balls!"
Vegeta seethed for a minute. "Yes, and now because of you, my scouter has informed Frieza of that little fact, you moron!", he screamed at the former monk. Krillin actually seemed apologetic about that.
Thankfully, any arguments cut off at that point with the arrival of Son Goku, who leaped down from his favorite floating cloud. Kakarot noticed a few tears in his gi and weighted clothes, a glimmer of an idea of how the man had boosted his strength coming to his mind.
"Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late, King Kai forgot to account for travel time back to the living realm," he admitted sheepishly. He looked really happy to see everyone, though his eyes caught on three individuals. The first one jumped into his arms and hugged him as tight as he could.
"Daddy!", Gohan cried out, tears already falling down his cheeks as he held his father.
Goku just smiled down at his son and hugged him back. "I'm here, Gohan. Wait, Gohan! What're you doing here?!", he demanded as soon as he realized that his son was in the same place as the dangerous Saiyans…Saiyan? "Weren't there supposed to be two of them?"
The second figure that caught his attention shrugged. "You were late, and the other guy thought we'd let him take a cheap shot at your son. Tien and Piccolo showed him how dumb an idea that was," he explained while pointing his thumb to a massive trench through the valley that ended up in a pile of rubble at the base of a cliff.
"Right…and you are?", Goku asked.
With a wave, Kakarot just said, "Not important. You and Vegeta here are gonna have a fight. He's been waiting fairly patiently, so he deserves your complete attention and your very best efforts. Do. Not. Hold. Back. Alright?"
Like a switch had been flipped, Son Goku became hyper-focused. Giving everyone a smile and a wave, he turned to the last individual who'd caught his attention. "Then let's not waste any more time," he exclaimed in excitement. Allowing the group time to back away and give them space, both men stood tall as they sized each other up. Vegeta's expression turned into a sneer, as he could tell he was stronger than the man in front of him. Goku understood that he'd have to rely on his new techniques to overcome the challenge.
After staring each other down for a minute, a large rock from the cliff that Nappa had been buried under fell down. Once it struck the ground, both fighters seemed to vanish, meeting in the middle where they began to exchange blows faster than most mortal eyes could see. It was obvious to everyone watching that, regardless of who won, both warriors were going to enjoy this fight as much as possible.
-=Break=-
Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin all stepped up to stand by Kakarot as they watched the battle between to two Saiyans progress in intensity. "What's going on, Kakarot?", Tien asked softly. "Of all of us, only Yamcha and Chiaotzu would struggle against this guy in terms of straight-up strength. Why give him a way out?"
Kakarot spared them all a glance before returning his gaze to the fight going on in front of them. "Two reasons, really. The first reason was actually the more important one for everyone. As soon as Nappa was out of the picture, he'd already come up with some sort of backup plan, and we needed to know what it was."
Krillin nodded. "His plan to find another set of Dragon Balls," he muttered, and all of them looked over at Piccolo, wondering how the, now officially recognized, Namekian was handling the news that he truly was an alien.
"Right. Something that we'll want to talk about once he's gone, too. Regardless, we needed to know Vegeta's next move so we could counter it if needed. The second reason was more personal for me," he continued to explain. "While most of us here are as strong, nearly as strong, or stronger than Vegeta currently is, I want Goku to be the one Vegeta fixates on."
Tien and Yamcha were the first to understand. Piccolo too, but he wasn't close enough to say anything without distracting Gohan from his dad's fight. "You want that guy to become Goku's rival?", Tien barely managed to get out without raising his voice, causing Kakarot to let out a sigh.
"Did Kami or Mr. Popo ever explain why they created me, to begin with?", he asked them.
Yamcha was the one to answer. "You said it was part of some backup plan."
Nodding once, Kakarot asked again. "That's the justification, but did any of you ask the reason?" None of them spoke up. "They recognized that Goku had a habit of letting his foes live after beating them. What they saw as a prideful weakness, the arrogant attitude of a foolish young man, I see as a desire to push himself as far as he can go. And right now, Vegeta is the perfect person to use for Goku use to push himself forward. Someone who's just as driven, for very different reasons, to push themselves to the peak, who has the same innate advantages from being a pureblooded Saiyan, and has someone he will always hate more than us."
Piccolo had walked closer during his little monologue, still watching as Vegeta slammed Goku through a few natural spires, kicked him up into the air, and chased after him with Ki blasts. "His ability to turn his enemies into rivals aside, why did you want him to fixate on Goku instead of you? You have that same ability he has, even if your personality is significantly different."
Kakarot didn't look away from Goku slamming into Vegeta, pile-driving them both into a cliff before jumping back to catch his breath for a moment. "I'm the backup plan. You don't use a backup plan when the primary plan is still in play," he stated simply. "The only change I've likely caused is how many of you all survived this confrontation. No offense intended, but without the ability to push yourselves further, faster, with the gravity chambers, I doubt any of you would be strong enough to have dealt with Nappa, let alone Vegeta. Goku, I'm sure, could have dealt with both of them."
All of them frowned at the observation, though they each had to admit there was more than a little truth in it. "Are you sure Goku will be alright?", Krillin asked. "From where I'm standing, he looks to be on the losing end of the fight." The fact that their friend's trademark orange gi was shredded all over and he was sporting a few cuts and bruises all over his body, while Vegeta only seemed to be slightly out of breath with barely a scratch on him proved the point.
"Look at his eyes," Piccolo advised, having seen something there already. "He's holding back, getting a sense of how his opponent fights and the limits of his strength." Tien nodded, as did Kakarot. Then they saw the grin light up on Goku's face. "And he's learned what he needed to."
Even Vegeta started to feel the spike in Ki that Goku gave off as he cried out. "KAIOKEN!" His Ki immediately changed, and his body was surrounded by what looked like crimson flames. Then he vanished from view, reappearing behind his opponent with a shoulder-height, descending roundhouse kick. Vegeta's instinct was all that saved him, as he turned at the last moment, raising both arms up. Even that didn't prevent him from being launched out, digging a trench dozens of meters long through the dusty ground before crashing into a hill, spit and blood coming out of his mouth as his eyes went wide from the surprising blow and following impact.
The group spectating the fight, or most of them, were also wide-eyed in surprise. "I remove my initial concern. Goku will be perfectly fine without us," Krillin said into the silence of the group. "That is one hell of a new skill. I wonder how it works…"
Piccolo smirked. "I can always kill you and you can go meet King Kai in person. I'm sure he'd be willing to tell you all about it."
Krillin shivered. "No thanks. I'm good," he replied, getting a soft chuckle from everyone.
-=Break=-
Vegeta was furious! This low-class Saiyan was beating him! HIM! He'd assumed that the upstart clone was willingly sacrificing the original in a power play, but no!
His thoughts took a backseat as he pushed his body to its utmost limits just to keep up with the speeds he was being attacked with. He'd already been thrown around the battlefield dozens of times by now, and he was sure he had a few broken ribs, as well as the cracked bones in his arms and legs that were making it harder to retaliate. Even the few times he'd managed to get a punch or kick in, it lacked any real strength due to injury.
He took another punch to the stomach, causing him to throw up more bile and blood, but managed to jump back enough to give him space to think up some options. He knew that the cocky bastard he was fighting could have beaten him already, but seemed to enjoy prolonging the fight. If he wasn't losing so badly, he'd be enjoying it too, a traitorous part of his brain admitted.
He'd had enough. Screw these fighters, screw this planet, screw everything! He leaped into the air and charged up his strongest attack. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS! DIE, YOU WORMS! GALICK GUN!"
He watched in glee as his attack shot out at tremendous speed toward his foe, waiting for the destruction to commence. Then he heard it.
"Ka…me…ha…me…HA!"
An enormously powerful blue energy wave crashed into his own purple one. He struggled to keep his attack going, but his pride refused to let him just give up. He poured everything he had left, every last drop, to keep it going and push his opponent's own attack back into the upstart's face.
He failed. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The pain of taking both attacks in the face was more than he'd ever suffered in his life. What few bones he had left that weren't injured were surely cracked at this point, as he descended to the ground below.
His last thought before passing out was that it was over. He'd finally lost, and it wasn't to the one he despised above all else. It was to some lowborn dreck, the lowest of the low. And that hurt the most.
-=Break=-
As soon as Vegeta hit the ground, Gohan shot forward and tackled his dad, surprising the man once more. This time by how strong his son was. "You did it, Daddy!", the boy cried into his father's chest, causing Goku to let out a soft chuckle.
"I guess I did. Now, can somebody explain just what's going on? I was terrified that I'd be too late to help, but it seems as though you waited just to give me a chance to be a part of things," he said in confusion. His eyes followed everyone else's to the somewhat familiar figure he'd seen earlier. "And who are you?"
With a put-upon sigh, he answered. "Remember the doll Mr. Popo made you fight?" Goku gave it some thought before nodding slightly. "I'm the result of wishing it to life with all of your memories. Even the ones you lost. I decided to go by Kakarot since you prefer Goku."
Goku's eyes went wide in shock before he pointed comically at his double. "You're that doll that beat me up all the time?" He ignored all the poorly hidden laughter and snorts from his friends.
"And now my day is complete. Sure, Goku. I'm the doll that beat you up all the time. I'm also Kami's insurance policy if you failed today," he explained with a smile.
Goku calmed down and rubbed the back of his head as he laughed along with everyone else. "Oh, that explains it," he said, confusing everyone. "King Kai told me that things were going better here than we initially expected, so I did one more thing before coming back to the living world. Something about a boost. It hurt like crazy, though."
Kakarot smiled, his speculations confirmed. "You shredded your own body with that new technique, didn't you?", he asked, getting a nervous smile from Goku and incredulous looks from everyone else. "I'm guessing Kami gave you a Senzu Bean to heal up before coming back?"
Tien let out a groan. "That stupid Zenkai thing you told us about, Kakarot? Like the one you asked me to nearly kill you for?" Kakarot nodded. "Stupid Saiyan cheaters…how are we ever going to keep up with that?", the tri-clops muttered, giving Kakarot a thought. He decided to keep it to himself for now.
"What's a Zenkai?", Goku asked.

End Chapter 4.
AN: Earth's greatest warriors: 2, Saiyan invaders: 0. A much better outcome than canon, in regard to the body count. Yay!
I freely admit that I suck at describing fight scenes. Something that many will think to be ridiculous if I'm writing a fanfic in the DBZ universe. They would be absolutely correct. So, like the blurry flashes, the 'too fast for the eye to see' exchanges from the original manga and anime…I'm leaving most of the actual 'fights' to your imagination. Yay me for thinking outside the box…sort of.
The next chapter will be wrapping up the Saiyan arc, deciding what, exactly, to do with Vegeta, and figuring out how to convince everyone of the need to go to Namek. I also realized that I goofed, and referenced Frieza early when he doesn't actually come up until later on. King Kai knows about him, and Vegeta knows about him, but neither of them talks about it until later, so Kakarot shouldn't have been able to throw that in Vegeta's face before. Oh well.
Kakarot: 25,000 (Perfect Oozaru: 250,000. No change from the last chapter.)
Goku: 13,250 (Kaioken: 26,500.)
Piccolo: 21,000 (No change from the last chapter.)
Yamcha: 17,000 (No change from the last chapter.)
Krillin: 20,000 (No change from the last chapter.)
Tien: 21,000 (No change from the last chapter.)
Chiaotzu: 13,000 (No change from the last chapter.)
Yajirobe: 14,000 (No change from the last chapter, but this is the last time I'll include him on the list.)
Gohan: 23,000 (No change from the last chapter.)
For those that care.
Nappa: 4,000 (Full Power: 8,000)
Vegeta: 18,000 (Galick Gun: 24,000)
As always, comments and reviews are welcome.
