Near Classroom 3-B

Here is where we meet the mean guys of the school, the boys who are way down low in the barrel of scum of this world. You see, they think they are nothing short of royalty, praying on the innocent and shagging girls left and right. But of course, most of the people in the school hate them with a fair few (sick minded individuals) actually idolizing their actions towards others. Where do I begin?

Paul Shinji is the leader of this pack of misfits. Purple hair, cold gray eyes, and that personality that just says "don't you dare mess with me". He was a Senior who liked to mess with the younger years and liked to pray on the Junior girls. His lackys Daimen and Trip were total bookends, with hardly any intellect to speak of ( it was a wonder how they survived their first years in high school). So yes, they were approaching the room where Dawn was in, Paul clearly sniffing out the new blood like a rebid shark. They waited by the lockers nearby and as the doors opened and they began approaching the four ladies.

The four ladies were talking freely when Serena suddenly went rigid, the other three looked at her perplexed. Dawn noticed the expression of alarm on her face.

"Hey, Serena? You okay?" The bluenette ventured worriedly.

Serena shook of herself out of her stupor and said, "Just keep walking girls. What ever you do don't stop."

They followed, whatever had the Student body President on edge also put them on high alert. May and Zoey noticed the three guys standing across from them, and saw Paul looking at Dawn like she was some new toy he could play with. Both girls ushered Dawn away. Paul was a fast one and grabbed the girl's wrist pulling it roughly.

"Hello there beautiful. What's your name?" Paul says trying to sound cool.

Dawn didn't like his vibe but answered sassily, "You know it's rude to ask of another person's name but not offer your own in return."

"Oo, we've got a sassy one boys. I'm Paul Shinji. One of the top battlers in Evergrand High." Paul claims pulling a very aggravated Dawn closer to him.

Zoey went to approach ready to to fight if needed, "Darn this man. He tried tried to make a pass at me too, what's his problem?"

Another male voice says, "His ego is his problem."

Everyone turned to see Gary, Leaf, Kenny, and Richie approach the scene enraged expressions in their faces.

SLAP!

The sound reverberated through the hall, everyone saw Paul on the ground a red hand mark on his cheek, Dawn look disturbed and angered. All the girls grinned in satisfaction, while the boys laughed.

"Well it looks like she handled it just fine Serena." Leaf says approaching Dawn and hugging her.

Dawn though shocked hugged back, "Hay Leaf! It had been so long, I've really missed you guys!"

"One could say we've missed you too Dawnie! Wow, almost a decade and we all meet again in Hoenn. He'll be so thrilled to see you again." Says Gary hugging Dawn as well.

Richie smiled and shook her hand, "Nice to meet you Dawn! I'm Richie."

"Thank goodness you have more sass in you than most of the girls in this School Dawn. Only you could have delivered a slap that devestating." Joked Kenny who got a playful smack on the shoulder from Dawn.

May then said, "Come on lets go before he does something else."

Everyone agreed. Now since, it was already lunch hour they all headed to the Cafeteria to have their meals. After ordering their food they sat at their usual table, including the new additions into their group.

It was Serena who asked, "Hey Gary, where are Ash and Drew?"

"Ashy-boy got held up by Professor Steven about league preparations. And Drew is stuck with Professor Liza because he was doing something he shouldn't be doing during her class." Gary explained.

Leaf rolled her eyes, "Same old Drew I am surprised he hasn't gotten a warning yet so far. And Dawn congrats on the win at the Jonto Grand Festival! Ash couldn't stop his excitement when he saw you battling your heart out."

"Wait he was there?!" Dawn asked in shock.

Gary laughed, "Well the tournament was scheduled a month after the Grand Festival ended. Ash was there a month earlier and decided to watch when he saw that you made it. Boy, did he want to go to you and congratulate you in person but he got cold feet!"

"Gary Oak it isn't nice to to make fun of him like this. He was scared that she hadn't remembered him after all these years. He was just so happy that you were chasing your dreams Dawn." Serena says while hitting Gary behind the head.

Dawn smiled, "You all act like siblings."

"We've known each other since we were children after all. Serena came back during our Elementary years. Ash was a bit putout during our last in year prep since you left Dawn, but he knew that he had to try his best during his journey as a Pokemon Trainer to reach his dream and by Arceus he did it! Youngest League winner in history." Gary Explains a large grin on his face.

"Then continued here in Hoenn won the league at Evergrand as well." Adds May smiling.

Serena then placed an arm around Dawn's shoulder saying, "He was planing to go to Sinnoh next Summer and challenging the league there as well."

Dawn's eyes widened at this information, "Oh wow! Some how I don't think me going to this school was some coincidence at all."

"I wouldn't think so either Dawn. It's like fate is playing role in you and Ash reuniting." Zoey says patting her fellow Sinnoh girl on the head.

Kenny nods in agreement, "If the lake spirits of Sinnoh could talk I'd say that this reunion is meant to be."

Everyone concurred with Kenny and Zoey on this. I mean, who wouldn't? Dawn looked hopeful as she honestly wanted their words to be true. Through all the distance between her and Ash she had developed feelings for him, feelings that went beyond friendship. She wanted to be his and for him to be hers. She had never looked at another guy, even those who had their eyes on her back in her old school didn't hold a candle to the Pride of Pallet Town.

Zoey's eyes suddenly darkened, "Uh oh, here they come..."

Everyone saw the approaching group of girls, who looked like they caked up on the makeup. Dawn saw her most hated rival in the Contest Circuit, Ursula Yates. Their eyes met and the puffy black haired girl smirked cynically at her. Dawn scowled at this she absolutely detested the girl!

"Oh great. Here comes The Witches." May grumbles unhappily.

It was just the first day too! First Paul and his gang and now Ursula and her posse of mean girls. What next?

Wow! I am on a roll here. Sorry if these chapters are short everyone, but I want keep it slow rolling for this story. Now it is time for the reunion you are all waiting for! Mm, he steps in and bats all the harpies always from his best friend in the whole world. Yeah, we have Ursula and her clique coming in she has an obsession with Ash but he rebuffs her at every turn of course. That boy only has eyes for one Ms. Berlitz after all. But I digress, next chapter is gonna be a sweet one prepare those tissues all.
