May, Dawn, and Serena nodded and May smiled "Yes, we will support you in whatever you want."

Cynthia remarked "The Teal Mask has a lot of Ogerpon's darkness as it was the remains of fallen Ogerpons."

Skyla concluded "So May, Dawn, and Serena were influenced by Iris to betray Ash as the Teal Mask overwhelmed them with darkness which corrupted them."

And being in solitary confinement can reverse the effects of the Teal Mask as the darkness needs contact with people to survive as it bounces off interactions and so that is how May, Dawn, and Serena could regain the beauty they were supposed to have as they fight off the darkness successfully in solitary confinement."
