Warning: Sad. This is literally about Charlotte's last thoughts as she is dying. Sorry about it being short.

Jenny sends a letter to Akito, Estelle, and Vincent and invites them along with Felicity, Eloise, and even Tech E. Coyote to meet her cousin in the country by the name of Fern Arable. During the visit, Fern adopts the runt of the litter from a pig and names him Wilbur and decides to adopt him as her very own pet.

Wilbur reflects on the first true friend he ever had.

"The piglet wants to make sure she will never be forgotten", he said lowly at last. The rat snorted. "As if that was possible. She'll forever haunt this barn. The stubborn creature."

After a long day, Templeton the rat gets ready for a good night's rest, but something interrupts his slumber. Or rather, someone. Based on the 1973 animated film.

What if instead of simply sitting on a stool observing quietly, Fern had done anything she could to help Charlotte with her plan to save Wilbur? A stronger, more assertive, more determined Fern, Fern/Charlotte/Wilbur friendship, and eventual Fern/Henry Fussy pairing.

Takes place in the timeline of the 1973 cartoon movie adaptation, rather than the book, and after the events of that movie, too. When Templeton's lifestyle finally catches up to him, what lies in store for the reprehensible rodent? Recommended if you wish Templeton had gotten his just desserts in the 1973 Charlotte's Web movie, but not if you are faint of heart or like Templeton.

Fern has long since grown up and is wandering through the farmer's market. A stuffed pig makes her think about lost dreams and might-have-been. Kind of bittersweet/
