Smith and Aleph are now freed from their imprisonment inside the Zion mainframe and on a direct path to 01, the city of the machines. Meanwhile in the Matrix, Persephone finally faces the fact that her husband's obsessive pursuit of "magic" has turned him into an utter stranger. Sequel to Awakenings, my previous story.

Death of another one of Neo's unnamed predecessors, now the crew has to deal with the situation. Apoc/Switch centric because that's what I do. This one loosely ties in with most of my other headcanon stories. Three very short chapters.

An alternative version of the full trilogy in which Trinity and Neo's love change the course of events completely

A glimpse into the past. As mentioned in "Jump Scares", Switch had some trouble to overcome a fear of heights and falling before making the jump. Trinity and Apoc decide to help out a little. Cypher is as antagonistic as ever. Timeline: About a week after "Parameters". Ties in with "Different Freedoms" and "Get Them Talking About Guns".

Trinity cries out and gasps at the pain suddenly radiating from her body and she feels like falling down in the darkness... like precipitating into the void...and she suddenly wakes up. Once again dreams can be so real... Set just after Trinity and Neo's reunion on the Mnemosyne in The Matrix Resurrections

A tiny glimpse into the breakfast the morning after Neo's first encounter with the jump program. Just a dialog vignette of how many tries it might have taken each of the crew members.

Another take on my ongoing "Switch has a slightly odd brain" theme. Today: Calibrating the jack-in parameters for the first visit of the construct, not everything is going as smoothly as planned. No character was permanently harmed in the making of this story. Might contain traces of a random OC because I needed an operator for this alternate timeline.

Neo couldn't open his eyes yet. He didn't want to look at the clock to realize only a few minutes had passed since he had fallen asleep. Trinity tried to get up, but Neo wouldn't let her. She was the only thing keeping him relaxed and he just needed a little more of her.

Between the events of The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded, the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar rescues more candidates from the Matrix. This is the story of a young man, Cody, who knew something was wrong. He asked the dangerous questions. He wondered the dangerous wonders. He found the dangerous people, and finally, he found them. Morpheus. Trinity. Neo.

This story takes place after the events of "The Matrix Revolutions" (2003) but in an alternate timeline where Neo did not die. Morpheus must trek to the Machine City to recover the One, partly corrupted by Smith, while still liberating humans from the freshly rebooted, highly unstable Matrix.

"One of my earliest memories is of overhearing Mom tell Dad that what I lacked in cyber, I made up for in punk. I think she meant it as a compliment, but it just made me want to kick her." Neo and Trinity's daughter (reluctantly) confronts Smith, the Oracle, and the division brewing in IO.

Being a misfit even in a band of misfits, looking for the lines to walk. Odd little thing, more exploratory fragment than story. Sort of a prequel/alternative telling to "White Gun", "Different Freedoms", and the rest of my "neurodivergent Switch" arc/headcanon. Rambly mess ahead.

Cade Li finds Himself in the Matrix movies and is told to help change things. This should be fun. (Oc x Persephone) (Smith x Oc) Also Smith from the matrix resurrections is good and an ally to Cade. (On Hold or lost interest Stories)

This story takes place in the events between the first and second films in "The Matrix" trilogy after the epiphany of Neo as the One.
