A series of decisions are made that change the future of Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry

Though I was inspired to write this, by the 'Christmas in July' projects in other fandoms, this story features a Christmas in December. Six months post Kid's release from prison, after a period of re-connection, and with Christmas rapidly approaching, Heyes and the Kid hit a bump in the road. This story features NONE EXPLICIT SLASH and the resumption of an established relationship.

Kid Curry has a guilty conscience about not being there to protect his partner and, being a man of action, he takes care of the problem.

Heyes and Curry are separated by their amnesty, and lack thereof.

Every author writes a Curry and Heyes prison story. This is mine.

Broke and desperate for work, Heyes and the Kid join a cattle drive not knowing the men are rustlers and murderers.

During a brief separation from Kid, Heyes and a couple of other fellas run into a man who is the spitting image of Kid Curry (with a few minor differences thrown in). I can't help it, I just love putting Kid Curry and Will Chisholm in the same story.

This little tale was kinda inspired by Rae1013's 'Dog Years.' The boys give up on amnesty...and do one last big job before heading into their new law abiding lives.

Heyes and the Kid have a discussion about their elusive amnesty and self respect...

Heyes' best kiss of the series was with Julia Finney. By chance, Heyes and Julia cross paths once again. Do they take things to the next step? The story has a rather adult scene but not explicit.

While there is a major character death, this story came about while pondering what might have happened had S-3 not occurred and instead a final tribute to Hannibal Heyes had been written. The title comes from the saying 'when a door closes, a window opens.'

A story of the aftermath of what went down in Santa Marta. This is an extended version of my challenge story posted to the forums for the prompts. 'Blind' and 'Guilty Conscience.' The first part is a rewrite of the challenge story 'Fool Me Once.' Each chapter is a complete story with no cliffhangers, they are just a series of events in their lives. Now Complete.

After pulling off a successful train robbery a posse suddenly appears

A continuation of 'Heavy Lies the Crown.' This was written as a belated birthday gift for Kim, but I hope others find some enjoyment in it. The story begins when some months after Emily-Rose's death with the Kid and Heyes settled their reputations especially that of the Kid's lead to an unpleasant encounter, but the tale ends on a happy event.

Hannibal Heyes once said that their parents "dying when they did," may have been a factor to them becoming outlaws. Truth is, they were both born in very turbulent times and neither knew a childhood free of the looming probability of an impending Civil War.

Series timeline. Heyes and Curry are being chased by a persistent posse. Heyes is sure they have an Apache tracker and suggests a desperate and dubious way to lose the Apache. This story is the cleaned up version of the original written in response to a story challenge and has not been beta read.

This will be an on-going piece of short stories with each chapter being a story unto itself, none more than about 5000 words. That way I won't be taking up so much space. While it says In Progress, each chapter will only be posted when complete
