Marty has some misgivings about splitting up, and Dana seems to be the one with the clearest head, so maybe they should stick together. He chooses to pull her into his room instead of letting her go into her own. This one small act throws off the Organizations plans in a major way and changes their futures.

Not all the monsters that The Facility keeps locked up are terrifying. In fact, some of them are downright charming. Charming enough that a twisted kind of relationship might emerge. An AU take off from the end of the film. The Ancient Ones don't rise and the 5 friends find their way back to society after escaping the nightmare at the cabin. But can they go back to normal? And has the nightmare really passed? Marty/Dana, Curt/Jules, Holden/OC. T for now, might go higher.
