This story takes place right after S2E2. Unwilling to deal with Michael and Maria, Alex takes off to shut down Project Shepherd without telling the gang. When they finally notice, the real extent of Michael and Alex's relationship is revealed.

Michael pulls a prank at the first day of school assembly and gets a little creative with his powers. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks it's as funny as he does.

Initially Gregory's offer of help had surprised him, but now he was glad of the company, his brother's presence dulling the nerves that were swirling in his stomach. (Set in s04e13. Basically what I think happened in S3Ep9 after Guerin saves Alex from stepping off the ledge, and then in Ep12 after Jones almost kills half of team alien by dropping them out a window. What if Alex meets everyone there and finds his boyfriend beaten and bleeding on the ground? This fic is all whump, feels, and Malex love. *New chapter FINALLY up! Sorry for taking so long*

Maria Deluca and Alex Manes had been partners in the X-Files department and in marriage, for years. They each had their reasons to search for the truth, and it just made sense to do it together. Michael Guerin was just a con trying to keep his head down, serve his time, and not attract the wrong type of attention. He definitely had not bargained on being loaned out to alien hunters

In RNM 2x09, we learned from the Sheriff that young Max was screaming & drawing all over the walls with a red crayon. Michael tried to calm him down & took the crayon from him. Then, the Evans' came in and saw Michael, assumed he was disturbed and so they adopted Max and Isobel. This is an AU- Canon Divergent- where Michael never takes the red crayon and instead, HE gets adopted.

Day 6 of 13 Days of Halloween, posted on Day 8. Maria writes in her journal about the start of her throuple relationship with Michael and Alex and her feelings on how it got started.

Kyle awakens on a NEW top secret military base, disoriented, with a headache that won't abate, and a stinking suspicion that Alex isn't telling him everything.

Michael and Alex continue their conversation at the end of 3x8. I wanted to add a little fluff before the show stirs drama back into their relationship.

Liz is chilling on the Crashdown's roof when a visitor approaches. One thing leads to another and they're having sex. Set around season 3 episode 4.
