The Punisher had mysteriously found himself in a not too different world filled with superpowered beings in capes and spandex however this didn't deter him from his convictions which is literally kill every dirt bag he could find.

There was a time, before all these quirks and powers came about. That men and women were revered for their sacrifices to protect their countries, no matter the cost. Now, they're hardly even acknowledged. Criminals and Villains think they can go to jail, get out, and go right back to terrorising innocent people. They don't need heroes, they need a Punisher.
