Mary Poppins always acted on the philosophy that saving a single household is the true way to save the world at large. Jane Banks cannot end slavery, but she can stand up for slaves. Michael Banks cannot end poverty but he can save his own family. And Jack? Jack may not own his own self...but he can own his own light.

Winifred looked across the table at George. He was bearing up well, but she could see how difficult the last two weeks had been. A modern woman did not stoop to using feminine wiles to get her husband to do what was good for him. George, however, was not a modern man, and he had been impervious to reason for months.

The story of a young Jack in his days as Bert's apprentice during the events of the first film; also how he met and fell in love with Jane Banks (despite George Banks' disapproval of him), and his first encounter with Mary Poppins.

Mary Poppins is feeling under the weather, and Bert, Jane, & Michael spend a comical day trying to tend to her and keep the house under control. How bad can things get when Mary Poppins isn't on her feet?

Bert has always loved Mary, he'll always wait for her to come back, when she leaves to help another family. He wants so much to tell her how he feels-but she's too perfect to love him. After being politely rejected-he moves on with his life, although he still remains best friends with Mary. After realising she had made a mistake and she loved him back-she had to twin him over again

Sweeps are lucky. Leeries have the gift of second sight. And the Fidelity Fiduciary Bank is much too grand and imposing for any robber to dare cross it. Two of those statements are possibly true. One of them most definitely isn't. And not all adventures are fun. Some of them end in blood and tears and, all in all, a bit of second sight and luck would come in very handy.
