Pippi had thought that his story was done, But a strange and new tale had only begun… After reconciling, Annika has a special job for his old friend.

It's their attraction to the sun that gives sunflowers their name, always turning their faces up to its warmth. But when they can't find it, those blooms turn to face each other. This is a story about Tommy and Annika, and their search for sunshine.

This fanfic about a story about a young Pippi missing out on a school trip, only to be comforted by his children, and I decided to make that happen. I chose a museum of science to be the destination for the school trip, inspired by the Discovery Cube Science Center I went to a couple of times when I was little.

Tommy finds himself in a mirror cart while on a train trip. Things go differently than he expected.

On a rare stormy evening, Annika worries to Tommy about their children who should be sound asleep. One by one each child finds their way to their parent's side, resulting in a serendipity evening of bedtime laughter, fun and cuddles.

With a new sheriff trio patrolling the town, Willie thinks that it's about time that he and his partners learn how to ride a horse. Cue Anna, despite being a westerner, being incapable of riding a horse, Willie trying to force feed a horse Cola, and Candy having a few tricks up his sleeves.

Young Pippi and Tommy discover the joys of sharing a room.

Anna and Wille fly to New York to surprise Tommy for Thanksgiving. Only problem is, Tommy hasn't had a chance to tell them that he moved, and is now living with Pippi, who they have still yet to meet.

Pippi goes to the doctor.

In November of 2021, Tommy drags Pippi to a party celebrating a recent Massachusetts Supreme Court ruling.

In the span of a single morning, Anna becomes the greatest vampire hunter in history.

Tommy spends the night fretting over his life decisions.

"Tommy got sick because he kept sleeping outside and Annika got sick because, um, Tommy coughed in Annika's mouth."

"Listen, Tommy. I worked hard to get where I was. And because of you, I had lost all of that. Well, now you are going to help me get it back...or else..."

"I guess I still don't understand why you did it, Tommy... Do you have any idea what you almost did!"

Annika thinks middle school is her chance to start over, but Pippi may interfere with her plans.

Annika asks Pippi for help on a homework assignment, and that's just the beginning of Pippi's weirdest day ever.

The lesson here, Annika thinks, is that tricking Death is tricky business. How do you outwit the personification of oblivion? Chess, obviously, won't be the answer. Or: Annika plays Calvinball with Death.
