[Short Story Inspiration]

Equestria is a land often weird in the garden of our minds. With beings of outside words accessing this world with powers that are not even needed. And befriending important ponies through a mysterious origin, or a tragic past.

Seeing such things gives me ecstasy. But to those who create the characters, is boring through the halfway point.

This happens due to revealing everything about yourself during the beginning chapters, and being unable to form a convincing struggling conflict. Inspiration dwindles away, and the world crumbles away. That's when I thought...

If a character like that persevere through, or is immune to the boredom, can it be beaten?

[Chapter 1: Prophetic Rewind]

Night had already fallen in the land of Equestria, as the last day of winter comes to a close. Tomorrow is Winter Wrap Up, so the ponies went to sleep early to immediately be prepare in the morning. As the lights of every house in Equestria turned off one after another, one room neglected to turn off their lights. That light reside in the castle of Canterlot.

There it was, the Princesses of the Sun, looking beyond the sky in the balcony of her room. Her gaze fell worrisome the more she saw the stars, almost as if she was expecting something dreadful to fall from one of them. All she could do now was wait for her sister, who she called over to address an important matter.

Coincidentally, the doors of her room open up, revealing the Princesses of the Night herself, approaching Princess Celestia before proceeding to talk first.

Luna: Sister, may I now know what bothers you? You've been a bit distracted as of late.

Celestia: Oh Luna! You're straight to the point I see. Sorry I couldn't tell it to you during dinner, it's just a bit... idiotic to say the least.

Luna: ???

With slight hesitation, Princesses Celestia showed Luna the reason of her woes. She walked over to her bed, and pulled from under it a crimson book emanating a feeling of danger. Princess Luna took a closer look and read the title.

Luna: "The Human Alicorn of a Faraway Hell" Why do you have a book like this?

Celestia: I don't, it just appeared while I was sorting books in the library. It has no author or origin for all I know.

Luna: Is that the problem?

Celestia: No... see for yourself...

After handing over the book to Luna, she continued to look at the stars the same way she did before. While Luna stood there feeling slightly bothered by the vagueness of her sister. Regardless, she opened the book as it was requested of her, to immediately realize the pages were empty.

Luna: I don't get it...?

Princesses Luna pass through the pages in the book to search for any words. Until finally, halfway through she found paragraphs containing some sort of prophecy. And without fully understanding it she began to read.

"The Cycle of Acceptance starts once again, when the soul of a broken boy resonates with the atmosphere of this world. Ponies will remain unaware of the ambient changing around them, while the entity captivates the hearts of the 6 Element Bearers."

"When the soul of this creature experience the pinnacle of satisfaction, he'll fade away with the world, and the cycle will start again."

Luna: ... (How can I take this seriously?) Sister, do you mind if I-

Without any warning, the book's pages began to flip frantically. And a blinding light illuminate on Princess Luna's face. Memories started to flow of events that never happened, but contained a bit of familiarity. A shooting star in the Everfree Forest that turned into an alicorn, Twilight Sparkle and her friends befriending the alicorn, and known villains falling at the might of the alicorn. But once those events happen, the world suddenly came to an end along side the alicorn's ambitions.

Luna: *Gasp*

Scared at the visions the book gave her, she threw it away with all her might into the wall.

Luna: What kind of sorcery was that!? WHAT DID I JUST WITNESS!?

Celestia: That was the future my dear sister. A future that starts, and had already happened tonight onwards.

Luna: What do you mean? There's still so much I'm unable to understand. Your pupil is going to interact with that thing! WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO EQUESTRIA!?

Celestia: I've already sent a letter to Twilight about the situation. Unfortunately, I fear fate has taken control of our destiny's regardless of what we do... I can feel it getting closer...

The Princesses of the Moon walk over to her sister. Oddly enough she could feel something approaching too. It didn't took long before they became aware of its location.

Celestia/Luna: THE HORIZON!

Right as they scream it out, a shooting star came zooming straight at them. Fortunately, it barely missed the balcony the sisters were standing on. The star continue forward, until it crashed nearby in the Everfree Forest.

To say Celestia and Luna were terrified at what they saw would be correct. But it was much more than that. What they saw brought them a plethora of emotions.

Luna: Did you... saw that...?

Celestia: Yes... that silhouette...

During the short instance in which the star cross the balcony, time pause for a while. That brief moment allow them to see the shadow of an alicorn sleeping inside a cristal shard. The princesses couldn't move, they could only stand and watch as the figure opens its eyes to see directly at them. Time then resumed with the previous events.

Luna: I felt... sorrow and fear, but also love and attraction? How?

Celestia: I also felt that infatuation you speak of. It seems he has the ability to make any mare fall in love with him. A simple gaze is enough to spark romance.

Luna: The book said he will captivate the hearts of the 6 Element Bearers. Does that mean Twilight Sparkle and her friends failed before the conflict even began?

Celestia: ...

Unwilling to answer that question, Celestia walked back to her room and crashed in her bed. Luna understood not to bother her sister. Her doubts were so big that all she could do was hope.

Knowing there was nothing else to do, the Princess of the Moon open the gate to the dream realm, and began her night duties.

We now loom over the crash sight in the Everfree Forest. A crater was formed with crystals scattered around, and in the middle lay the alicorn. He had a pure white coat, and a bright long red mane with a golden ring in every hoof.

He opened his eyes with a bit of struggle to see the winter night sky above him.

The Hero: Back at the start once again. With such a beautiful sky to welcome my arrival.

The alicorn stood up and analyzed his surroundings. He seems so be aware that something is lurking around the forest.

The Hero: 7 Timberwolves, 1 Manticore. Glad to know nothing has changed. If they only knew how powerful I am. Might as well show them a small fraction of-

???: Ya'll think it fall over here?

The Hero: !!!

The creatures reacted quickly to the voice they heard. 5 out of the 7 Timberwolves exposed their locations to confront the alicorn, while the last 2 and the Manticore chase after the voice.

The alicorn knew who the voice belong to, it was Applejack. What he didn't knew was why she was here. But right now isn't a good time to figure it out.

The Hero: (Damn! this is new... I guess it's time to adapt to the situation).

This was it, he's going to finish this fast. The alicorn's eyes suddenly change colors, showing a heterocromia of red on his right and blue to his left. At the same time, two katanas materialize at his sides, orbiting around with his magic. One was black with a demonic crimson aura, while the other one was bright white with a light blue aura.

The Timberwolves didn't even flinched at the sight of his intimidating awesomeness. So they charge right at him like the idiotic primal animals they are. In the end, they never stood a chance.

The Hero: カッティングスラッシ

A tornado of light and darkness formed inside of the crater. All Timberwolves within range got pulled by the vortex, and shred into dust. Not even their souls remain due to the power of his black katana, which had the ability to take the souls of those he cut.

After the wind settled down, he unmaterialize his sword and immediately ran towards the origin of the voice.

???: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

The Hero: (It's not only Applejack, all of the Main 6 entered the forest! Man, I am going to wreck ass, and I know just the way to do it.)

We now move over to Twilight and her friends, who are being surrounded by the creatures from before. They seem to be doing pretty well since no pony was injured, and they manage to put a decent fight. Right now they're inside a barrier Twilight cast, trying to find a way out of this situation.

Rainbow Dash: Soo... why are we doing this again?

Twilight: You've got to be kidding be! You out of all ponies should have seen that massive star that fall nearby! Also, Princess Celestia told me to investigate it, so it's a duty I must fulfill.

Rainbow Dash: Yeah but, didn't she send you that letter in the morning? How did she saw it coming?

Pinkie Pie: Maybe Celestia has "Pinkie Senses" of her own! Then again, I didn't saw this one coming either. Could her Pinkie Senses be... STRONGER THAN MINE!?

Twilight: I don't think this is a good time to answer such a question...

The Timberwolves surrounding them leap at the barrier. But as they were about to collided with it, they both vanish into thin air. The girls and the Manticore showed confusion at the disappearing Timberwolves, but it didn't took long before finding out who did it.

There it was, the alicorn, coming out of the deep forest with an intimidating presence. And he had some words to say.

The Hero: Well, well... where do you think the Timberwolves ran off to? Oh wait, I know!

In a perfectly timed manner, the remains of the Timberwolves rained down from the sky. A claw over there, tail over there, and soul nowhere.

The Hero: They ran straight down to hell...

Manticore: *Shiver*

Twilight: No way! another alicorn!!! (Is he the thing I'm looking for? He looks so... Handsome...)

The Hero: Let's not point the obvious, I'll take it from here. Keep that barrier on.

He didn't gave the Manticore a moment to think. Out of nowhere, a burst of his unwavering spirit impacted the Manticore. This action was so strong, that it leave cracks all around the barrier.

And so, with the Manticore unable to withstand the impact, it fainted. The girls could not hide their astonishment, and said what they were thinking outloud.

Applejack: Well I'll be! Thanks a ton sir! I've never seen anything like that before!

Fluttershy: What did you do? Y-You don't need to say it if you don't want to... it's just...

Pinkie/Rainbow: THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!!!

Fluttershy: Umm... yes but it sort of-

Rarity: Elegant and sufficient! you didn't even lift a hoof to knock him down! OH WHAT A STALLION YOU ARE!

Although everypony had something to say, Twilight remained quiet. She took the barrier down and walked over to the alicorn. Looking head to hoof and all around to the discomfort of their savior.

Twilight: What did you just do?

The Hero: Excuse me?

Twilight: You know, that *WOSH* thing that made the Manticore faint. What was that?

The Hero: You mean "Conquerors Haki?"

Twilight: What!?

The Hero: Oh, just ignore me. I'm not meant to talk about that. This universe is completely different from that other one.

Twilight: !!! (I don't know why, but the more I talk to him, the more fluster I get. Is it just the intrigue of curiosity? or is it...!? AAAAAAAAHHH! DON'T THINK ABOUT IT!!!)

It may not look like it at first, but the alicorn also has the ability to read minds. He heard everything that Twilight was thinking, giving him the confidence to do something bold. He lean over to Twilight and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. It can be said that this was a way to show his kind nature, but instead it left Twilight in a more fluster state. Even the other girls couldn't believe it.

The Hero: My name is Galaxy, Galaxy Spiral. It's a pleasure to meet you all...

On the next morning, Princess Celestia rise the sun like she always do. She didn't seem good today, implying the endless thinking she went through while drifting to sleep. The nerves were getting to her, and it's showing.

Celestia: (Twilight, please answer me...)

A knock on the door could be heard afterwards. When Celestia opened the door, it was Princess Luna holding a scroll that it's meant for her sister. Before giving it to her she noticed the uneasiness in Celestia's face, giving her an urge to address it.

Luna: Are you scared?

Celestia: No I'm not! I am merely doubtful at the threat, It's not fear! Seriously, don't know where you got that idea from?

Luna: Sister... I'm scared too...

Celestia: ...

Without any more words to say, Luna hand over the scroll to her sister. Celestia took a look at it, and to her surprise it was from Twilight. This didn't make any sense at all.

Celestia: Luna, where did you got this?

Luna: A mail pony came by the entrance and gave the letter to one of our guards. The guard pass it over to your secretary, then over to me so that I can give it to you.

Celestia: That's... strange...? (Especially since Twilight could have send the letter over through Spike.)

Right now isn't a time to think, it's the time to know. Princess Celestia opened the scroll and began to read out loud.

"Dear Princess Celestia, it is a pleasure to inform you that the creature that fall from the sky is not to be fear. To my surprise, he ended up being an alicorn, a really handsome alicorn at that. He's so calm and kind, he even save us despite initially viewing him as a villain or something."

"Right now he's resting in a spare room I have in the castle, he sleeps like an angel. It's hard to even think he'll do anything wrong. You know, when I word it like that, it sounds like I'm in love with him, WHICH IS NOT TRUE! I'm just interested in who he is!"

"If you want, we can arrange a visit so that you can meet him personally. I swear you won't regret it. Hope you consider it!"

"Your fateful student: Twilight Sparkle"

The two sisters were unable to say a word by the end of the letter. They were doom from the very beginning. What else is there to do other than to accept fate's cold grasp. At this point, the world will go through the "Cycle of Acceptance", unable to go any further into the future, as the ponies live unaware.

With those thoughts in mind, Celestia ran over to her balcony to look at the sky. She saw lots of pegasus bringing snow clouds from Cloudsdale, even though this was the beginning of spring. It took a while before Celestia became aware of the time they were in, but once she did, she became distraught.

It was the middle of winter.

Celestia: (If I didn't read that book, I would have been obvious to the season remaining the same. Still, I can feel my subconsciousness slowly fading away. Probably due to the brief interaction with the alicorn... what can we do now?)

Luna: Are you done sulking?

Celestia: !!!

Luna: Then let's begin

Those words, "Let's begin", gave Celestia a deep feeling of responsibility. If they are the only ones aware, then they should find a solution themselves. As princesses, they should protect Equestria with all their might, and so they will.

Princesses Celestia assure Luna of her convictions, and began the new day in search of way to bend their pre-determined fate to their favor.

[End of Chapter 1]

This story is made out of the deep thoughts I have within me. The purpose of this story is not to gain a following, but to at least have a complete story in my account. This is going to be my pinnacle of story making, and I highly doubt I'll be able to improve.

I'll take my time with it. I suffer from major writers block, even though I know how this story will go and end. Therefore, I shall take it slowly.
