Yudias is celebrating with his comrades atop the Mutsuba Tower. They have succeeded in defeating The Creator with the help of Velgear Star Cluster and That Guy- Oh, his name is Yuga Ohdo, a boy from the future.
"You have been a great help to us, Yuga."
"It's the contribution of every single one of us that matters in the end."
"Here we go again, your heroic talks. Just admit that you are feeling great." Yuhi groans over Yuga's heroism. Deep inside, he knows Yuga's nobility shines the brightest, but it feels annoying when it's clear as day that Yuga does much more than others.
"Come on, Yuhi. It's a team effort. Mutsuba Town, MIK, Velgear Star Cluster, Pawtner and many more. We defeat The Creator together, and our victory can only be achieved through friendship."
"It would be nice if Mitsuko-san can join us, but she's busy with handling Boiled Bagel Requiem. Her hands are parched." said Tell Kawai.
"Can't refute that for ya. So, when are you going back to the future, Yuga?"
"Personally, I would like you to become my second-in-command. Your talents are valuable and can spread the Heavy Cavalry Way around this vast universe. Although it can't be helped, your friends are waiting for you to return."
"Thanks, Asaka. Before giving my answer, I have a question." Yuga takes a deep breath, "How would you imagine Mutsuba Town in the future?"
"Like many, many years from now?" Manya asks Yuga.
"Yeah. What do you think?"
"The world of acting will be pioneered by Atachi, of course. My descendants will perform their shows for aliens to watch. They will remember it until the heat death, hihihi."
"The Sougetsu tradition will be honored even if 100 or 500 years may have passed. Violence will be no more, instead it will be all harmony and peace. I expect my descendants to be honorable and not be addicted to power over pressure."
"Hmm. Strong words." Zwijo scoffs. It's ironic from the guy that went mad with his Maximum.
"And? You got lucky during that Duel. My Maximum completely outplayed your strategies, nothing in your arsenal can defeat Volcalize Phoenix. I still haven't forgave the times you relied on Earthdamar to cover how weak you are in Dueling."
"Stop! A loss is a loss. Be a graceful man, or you want your descendants to be scumbags too?" Yuna growls at Manabu.
"I bet your descendants have anger issues like you, chemistonya. No balance at all."
"Watch your foul mouth, you—"
"Calm down, chupa. Let's not ruin the mood."
"What's your imagined future looking like, Yuna-chan?" London points at her.
"Rush Duel! Goha Company will popularize Rush Duel even further and make children smile!"
"That's quick." Bochi is surprised at how fast and confident Yuna's answer is. "You are like Yuga."
"W—What? I'm not like him at all... I'm more feisty." (blushes)
"Ahahaha. That's my vision for the future too."
"You are definitely returning to a world full of Duel Robots and plastic models, right?"
"Yeah. Campaigns should sell like hot cakes as well."
"Actually... I'm staying here."
The crowd silents.
Then erupts.
"WHAT!?"
"I just feel like... it shouldn't be a Road I should take. I haven't discovered the full extent of my travel to the past, and I may break space-time continuity if I return to the future. Besides, I have a mission to do. Unfortunately, I can't disclose that."
"Well... Not like it matters. Vi bal du! You are an honorary member of Velgear, and also a citizen of Mutsuba Town. Stay anywhere you like, it's your home anyway."
"Yeah. If that's your decision, then we are all for it." Yuhi cheerfully smiles.
People are happy with Yuga's decision to stay. If he has something he needs to do, everyone is willing to lend him a hand. Yuga greatly appreciates the warm-hearted welcome with happy tears. Not only him, but Yuna also...
"So. Yuga... Are you staying with me, then?"
"Of course. I will be by your side. Let's expand Rush Duel together!"
Yuna just can't hold her happy tears anymore, "Yuga! Thank you so much! I love you!"
"Yuna! Come on!" Yuga is flabbergasted by Yuna's lovely hug.
"Night-night-la-light! Light upon thee, the radiance of the full moon."
"At your service, Rovian-sama." said the girl, dressed in a blue collared t-shirt with a pink bowtie and a cyan short jean.
"The time for the last chord of the melody of time descends upon us. The spellcasters of fate will gather under my voice."
"I will make preparations."
"Let the end begin." smirked Rovian.
Yudias, Zwijo and their comrades have returned to Velgear. They have a peaceful life ahead of them after days and days of neverending wars. Meanwhile, Yuga and Yuna are about to sleep. Today is the first time they decide to share a bed, now that Yuga's identity is revealed and Yuna wants to advance their relationship.
"Look at the moon. It's so mesmerizing~"
"Whenever I see a full moon, something important can happen."
"What do you mean, Yuga?"
"Lots of things. I created Rush Duel under the guidance of the full moon. Then I arrived here on the day of the full moon. And many more stuff."
(Lights off) "Wanna talk under the blanket?"
"Sure—!"
The window is pushed open by the winds. Within the shadow is an unwanted guest to their night, someone so mysterious it gives off a scary vibe...
"Rovian!" The appearance of the minstrel on a broom surprises both of them.
"Follow me. It's a broom alien, so don't be afraid."
"Is there any danger in the Alien Residential Area?" Yuga shows his worries.
"Not immediate. But the looming threat is arriving. Listen to my melody."
"Alright. Let's go, Yuga."
"Sure. She's our friend, so we gotta help her."
Rovian leads them to her basement. The candles light up in the dusty room. This is where Rovian stores her poems and musical records.
"I don't know you have so much works, Rovian."
"My life resonates with nature beats. Dedication is all to it. Here's my table."
Rovian opens the top drawer. There is a book inside it.
"No way!" Yuga stuns himself when he sees the title.
"SEVENS... I have never seen this book before."
"How do you have this? Explain!"
"Yuga..." Her dear's reaction is what she expects the least.
"A young sorcerer sought out six companions under the guidance of an old man to save a world in turmoil, and the "SEVENS" as they were called, stepped forth from the darkness, carving open the earth, splitting the sea, crossing the flames, shaking the heavens with wind and using the light of the constellations to journey to their final destination, the moon, where the Lord of Chaos resided. Heheheh, all those adventures with Yudias Velgear... It's as if you have slayed the elements yourselves. Isn't that right?"
"We have been through a lot, for sure. Defeating Zwijo, Luge, Tremolo and Phaser. Then we all unite to battle The Creator in space, the fight is witnessed by the holy moon."
"Isn't it coincidence that this is quite similar? I wonder if you have gone through the same events in your own world, Yuga Ohdo?"
"I can't deny it. The way the book ends is what leads me here, after all. I can't let my friends die, just like the six fallen companions."
"But you are here! So you win!"
"It would be better if that battle just didn't happen. If the history can be changed."
A tear drops from Yuga's cheek. Then two more tears, and three.
"To the future."
"What do you mean, Rovian?"
"You all should have realized this through travelling through the entirety of the universe. It's clear that Yuga's suffering doesn't end with just The Creator's defeat, but there is no enemy in the current timeline. Perhaps the real enemy is lurking in the future. Kamos doesn't know, neither do I, so it's up to you both to find out."
"I have gone to the future before. Things haven't changed. It's not what I envision."
"You have to go, anyway. Or else this timeline would be doomed. Remember how you are brought back to the past from your travel to the future as a cat?"
"Time paradox, you mean?"
"When you return, you may face yourself as a cat. That's when time paradox occurs and you as a cat will be sent home. If that event doesn't happen, the past will change. Without you, The Creator will rule the universe forever."
"Wait, Rovian. Would that mean we have to bring Yuhi and Yuamu too so their cat selves can return to the past and preserve the current timeline?"
"Correct. Well, maybe Yuga alone can still defeat The Creator with Yudias. But it's better to not stir up the timeline too much. Seems like it is fated for some to travel to the future, though I hope you have a better understanding of your true enemy - Lord of Chaos."
"I see now. If we defeat Lord of Chaos, the future will change. Let's do it, Yuga!"
Yuga seems unresponsive to Yuna's words. He is lost at an ocean of thoughts.
"Yuga! Did you hear me?" Yuna furiously pinches Yuga's cheek.
"Aaahh! Sorry, yeah. Let's ask Yuhi and Yuamu to go with us. Maybe this is my true mission."
"Indeed."
"I will bring you to UTS then. Hey, broom!"
The elders look at Yuga and Yuna with utter confusion. Yuhi can see the nervousness in Yuga and Yuna's eyes, though Yuamu may have catched up with what they mean.
"Are you that naive to believe in a book no one has ever seen before, let alone written by a street musician?"
"Yuga's experiences have been similar to the content of the SEVENS book. And also, he hasn't fulfilled his wish yet - to make every children smile with Rush Duel, for it to be remembered in the history. He wants to stay in the past to make a new history, but we have found another Road ahead of us. To defeat Lord of Chaos!"
"Ah geez, what is this? Fairy tale in real life? Are you two nuts from being lovey-dovey with each other already?"
"We are not!"
"Remember the moment we got sent back to the past as cats. You should see a glimpse of yourself, Yuamu and myself too. Frankly, I don't know why you two are there, but Rovian has told us that perhaps our arrival to the future is fated. If that's true, maybe the Lord of Chaos is to blame for this. He doesn't exist in this timeline's universe, so the future might be where he is."
"Yuga is right. Time paradox forces a series of determined actions, or else the timeline will derail. What would happen if none of us are present in the battle against The Creator?"
"Young lady, are you serious in doing this?"
"I am. This isn't coincidence. The only reason we are here is because our future selves arrive at the future. Now we have to travel to the future so our past selves can return here."
"When you break it down like that... Fine. But let me pack my things first. You too, Yuamu."
"Yeah, yeah. It might take us a few days or maybe longer."
"By the way. The young masters said that you weren't there with them in the future, Yuna. You don't have to go, so why?"
"Because I have made up my mind. I won't run away and leave everything to Yuga. I will help him with everything I have."
"It would be safer with Yuna around. Do you have pens and papers? I want to write a letter to Asaka. I don't want to wake everyone up, but it would be nice to let her know what's going on."
"I get you. Let's prepare your spaceship. The fuel for the engine is a bit unusual as it runs by curry, but UTS curry is top-notch, so that's not a problem."
"Thank you so much." Yuga and Yuna show their gratitude towards them.
The spaceship is brought to a huge slide in Mutsuba amusement park. Asaka has given UTS the permission to use it for the mission of defeating Lord of Chaos.
"I wish you all luck. Time for the spaceship to set off!"
Yuga, Yuna, Yuhi and Yuamu give UTS and Asaka a thumbs up. They are about to go, but...
"Unfair! Unfair! Unfair! Why didn't anyone wake me up?"
It's Damamu! Did he wake up from all the preparations happening?
"I want to go! Yuhi gets to go, why can't I?" Damamu acts naughty out of desparation to travel with them too.
"Yuga. Let Damamu in. I don't want him to destroy the tracks."
"Damamu can stay in energy form, ain't it? He shouldn't take up too much space."
Yuga calls out for the crying boy, "Hop in, Damamu! Let's go together!"
"Yay! Hoorah! Bye bye, everyone!"
"Be safe!"
And then, before they know it, the spaceship vanishes into the thin air.
From afar, Rovian sees the spaceship heading to the moon before disappearing in an instant.
"Last requiem."
Rovian takes off her hat. Her eyes turn red, "It is done, my Lord. The magician has brought the one who bears the elements with her to the future. It is time for the final iteration, your release is nigh."
A ladybug crawls out from Rovian's glowing red hair.
"Nanananananana"
P.S. Lord of Chaos is the villain of the SEVENS book - a story that is central to the finale of Sevens. With how much it means to Yuga, it would be fitting for the final villain beyond The Creator (whom should be defeated at the end of Go Rush) to be Lord of Chaos? Yuga, Yuna, Yuhi, Yuamu and Damamu have settled on their adventure to cause a time paradox that would allow the cats to return to the past, but also to defeat this menacing villain. But who is he? And what's wrong with Rovian? Let's find out when the characters arrive at the future! This is the beginning of Sevens Rush - a crossover fanfiction between Sevens and Go Rush characters uniting to face the greatest threat ever!
