"Ichigo Kurosaki, do you not understand that your actions are a reflection of our school and you're tarnishing it!" A teacher said as he sat with a guy with orange hair and was being lectured, but Ichigo couldn't care.

'What is he babbling about now? Just shut it already.' Ichigo thought.

"Do you understand what I'm saying? You're constantly getting into fights, some of those delinquents come to our school to pick a fight, and you come to school late! These are not the actions that reflect well of our school!" The teacher said. As he was lecturing Ichigo about his attitude, someone else came by.

"Excuse me, sir. I hate to interrupt, but here are the class logs you wanted." She said as she handed over some logs. "Hi, Ichigo." She greeted, but Ichigo really just ignored her like he had no interest in her.

"Oh. Thank you, Orihime Inoue." Ichigo looked to the side and was met with what heard some of the guys say was the hottest girl at school with long auburn-like hair with two hairpins on both sides of her hair. Once she pardoned herself, she was on her way out. "See that, Kurosaki? You could learn a lot from Miss Inoue. She's well behaved, gets good grades, and truly helps people out."

"Whatever? Are we done here?" Ichigo said as he didn't care and was getting on the teacher's nerves.

...

The Hall

Once Ichigo was done with his lecture, he hit the halls again. Ichigo Kurosaki is really just an average teen at Karakura High. However, Ichigo's reputation of being a stereotypical delinquent and some people are afraid of him because of that. That's why some of them cleared the hall way out of fear when they all saw him coming.

"Look, it's Ichigo. He's so scary, and what's with that hair of his?"

"Don't mind him. He's just a punk and not worth the time of day." However, when Ichigo looked in their direction and glared right at them, they all shut up and tried to act innocent.

'This bites.' Ichigo thought as he just kept on walking. 'Whatever... If they want to be afraid of me, who cares?' Ichigo just kept walking until he stopped near some stairs and spotted Orihime making her way up. Orihime's gained a bit of a reputation herself, but it was the opposite of Ichigo. She was one of the nicest people around and is always smiling; but acts a little ditsy and yet gets great grades. "Orihime... Karakura's sweetheart..." Ichigo didn't pay much attention to her and just walked down the stairs. He was just going to walk right pass her. However, he spotted something a bit unusual. He heard that she always seemed happy and smiling, but she doesn't look that way right now. Then, when she looked up, those eyes of hers distracted Ichigo for a second, but that one second changed everything. Ichigo ended up missing a step and he ended up slipping. 'Oh, damn!' It felt like time slowed down as Ichigo fell and he was falling right on top of Orihime with her going down with him. After that, everything just went black.

Ichigo

Ichigo was finally able to pull himself together. His head felt a little groggy as light began to shine through his sight. Once it cleared away, he could see straight again and could think.

'Where am I?' Ichigo thought as he was trying to recover and began to remember. 'Oh yeah... I fell down the stairs. I must be in the nurse's office.' He tried to get up, but still felt rather sore. 'Oh man... I must have messed up my back or something in that fall.' He thought as he felt some pain in his back. He then moved his hand around his body as he slid it against his head, but soon felt his hair when he shouldn't. 'Wait. Why does my hair feel longer?' He moved his hand further down and grabbed his chest, but he felt something through his grey school jacket. It was rather large, soft, and felt like it was attached to him. "What the hell?!" Even his voice didn't sound like his voice. He took a good look and saw he was wearing girl clothes. Even when he moved his hand down between his legs, he noticed something was missing. "No way!" He hurried right out of bed and ran straight for a mirror. When he got to one, he couldn't believe what he saw as it wasn't his own face he was looking at. It was someone else's. 'Oh my god! I'm in Orihime's body!'

...

The Hall

'What the hell is going on?!' Ichigo thought as he ran through the halls, but everyone believes that is Orihime since Ichigo somehow ended up in her body. 'If I'm in her body, does that mean she's in mine?! If she is, why would she go to class?! Is she crazy?!' Ichigo headed to where he believed Orihime was. When he got to his classroom, he threw the door open and couldn't believe it. It would seem that Orihime really is in Ichigo's body, but she was acting like her normal self.

"And there! Is that right?" Orihime asked as she finished a question on the board. However, since she acted so cheery about it and was in Ichigo's body, everyone in class was stunned believing that was really Ichigo.

"That's right. Very good, Ichigo." The teacher said as even she was stun. Ichigo couldn't believe what was happening right before him. "Oh! Orihime! Glad to see you're okay. Could you take you seat?"

"What the hell is going on here?!" Ichigo shouted. "You! Come with me!" He grabbed Orihime by the tie and dragged her out of there, but everyone was baffled because it looked like Orihime pulled Ichigo out of there and that was unsual. This whole thing is unusal.

...

The Roof

"You've got some serious explaining to do!" Ichigo shouted as the two of them were on the roof and could talk privately. "Why am I in your body and you're in mine?!"

"I don't know, but it's pretty cool." Orihime said.

"No it's not, and how are you so calm?! We switched bodies! Do you not get that?!" Ichigo said.

"Kind of." Orihime answered.

"Kind of is not an answer!" Ichigo shouted.

"I don't really know what happened. I just woke up in the nurse's office like this." Orihime said. "Something must have happened when we fell down the stairs. Next thing I knew, I have this weird thing between my legs."

"Hey! Watch what you say!" Ichigo said out of embarrassment. "Anyway, how do we fix this?"

"I think if we just fall down the stairs again, we might switch back." Orihime figured, but Ichigo didn't really think that was the case. They would have to fall down the stairs again to switch back? "Anyway, it will have to wait. I can't really afford to miss anymore classes. We can switch back after school."

"What?! Are you serious?!" Ichigo questioned as Orihime just walked off with his body. "I always thought she was a little weird."

...

Ichigo

"This whole thing is unbelievable. What the hell am I even suppose to do in this body?" Ichigo questioned as he doesn't get any of this. The, as he was about to cross his arms, his hands brushed against something he shouldn't have touched. When he felt that, he quickly retracted his arms. 'Whoa! Bad, Ichigo! You've got to be careful where you put your hands in this body!'

"Orihime!" Knowing someone was talking to him, he turned around and saw three guys drooling and creeping on her. "How are you feeling?"

"Heard you were in the nurse's office."

"Do you need us to take care of you?" All three of them said as they looked like total creeps about it.

'Urgh... Gross...' Ichigo thought as he felt disturbed, but suddenly realized his situation. 'Damn. I better act like Orihime.' "Uh... Thank you for the concern, but I'm fine." He said and tried being all giddy like her, but then just ran off. He rounded a corner and tried catching his breath. "How exactly am I suppose to pull this off?"

"Orihime, there you are." He then noticed a group of girls heading for her that Ichigo knew as her friends, especially one with black hair.

"Hey, Tatsuki." Ichigo said.

"We were worried about you. We heard you fell down the stairs." Tatsuki said. "Are you okay?"

"Uh... Yeah, I'm fine." Ichigo said as he kept trying the act. Suddenly, a girl with red hair and glasses jumped on him.

"My poor Orihime! I can't imagine how awful that must be, knowing that brute Ichigo was behind this. No worries, I'll take care of you!" She said as she was acting like a horndog, but Tatsuki suddenly knocked her right on the head.

"She doesn't need your care, Chizuru!" Tatsuki shouted.

'What the hell? What was that about?' Ichigo wondered. 'I knew Tatsuki was protective of Orihime, but I didn't know something like this went on.'

"We're all just glad you're okay, Orihime. Come on, let's go have lunch." One of her friends said as they took "Orihime" with them and didn't realize it was really Ichigo. All of them went on to eat outside. Since there wasn't much Ichigo could do except to play along with it.

'Well, might as well eat.' Ichigo thought as he reached for Orihime's lunch, but he freaked when he saw that it didn't look like a good combination of food. 'What the hell is this? Orihime eats something like this?'

"Orihime, are you sure you're okay?" Tatsuki asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. What happened with the stairs was nothing more than an accident." Ichigo said as he tried to keep the act going.

"Falling down the stairs like that... That had to have been scary."

"By the way, here are some notes from the classes you missed when that happened." One of her friends said as she handed over her notebook.

"Oh, thanks. I'll just copy them." Ichigo said as he reached inside Orihime's bag and pulled out her notebook, but Tatsuki saw it and was worried.

"Not that notebook!" Tatsuki said, but it was too late. Ichigo already opened it up and saw a complete mess on the inside with some writing in there that didn't look nice. Ichigo didn't understand what this was about. "That's the notebook Loly ruined, remember?" She said, but Ichigo didn't get it.

"I heard my name. Someone mention me?" Ichigo looked behind her and saw a girl with black hair in pigtails. "Oh, never mind. It's just the little princess and her lousy entourage."

"What do you want now, Loly?" Chizuru questioned.

I heard Orihime had an accident. Poor thing. Although, I thought she just wet herself like the big baby she is." Loly taunted. She then just walked by and purposely kicked Orihime's lunch to ruin it. "Enjoy your disgusting lunch, you little pig. Who even eats like that?" Ichigo was baffled something like that happened. He had no idea someone like Orihime had her to deal with. The part that really confused him was that no one did anything, not even Tatsuki. It didn't stop there either. When Ichigo and the girls went to their respective lockers, he opened Orihime's and a bunch of garbage fell out with a bunch of crude things written inside it. When he heard giggling, he saw it was more of Loly's work.

'That little...' Ichigo thought as he hates seeing this, but why won't anyone do anything about it?

...

Ichigo

"What the hell is with that girl?" Ichigo complained as he met up with Orihime again and told her what happened.

"Maybe we should switch back now." Orihime said as she changed her mind. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean for my problems to become yours. It was...selfish of me. I can handle it." That was when Ichigo realized something. Orihime always acted so happy, but it sounds like she's got a problems. Could it be that she is trying to mask her pain the whole time?

"No way. You said we can do it after class, and that's what we'll do." Ichigo said with Orihime surprised he say that. "Also, I'll talk to Loly to make sure she never bothers you again.

"No! Please don't!" Orihime said like it was urgent. "I can handle it. Just please don't get involved." Ichigo didn't expect that, but it looks like Orihime doesn't want Ichigo to get involved in any of this. He might not have much choice as Loly could see the two of them talking.

...

Orihime's Group

"Hey! Orihime! There you are!" Tatsuki called. Ichigo continued on being Orihime and met up with her friends, but he still wondered what he was going to do to help Orihime.

"Hey, Tatsuki... I'm just a little curious about something. I appreciate how you're always helping me, but how come you don't do anything about Loly?" Ichigo asked.

"You know how she is." Tatsuki said. "She's a daddy's girl. If I do anything to her, she'll cry to her daddy about it and he'll threaten to sue the school unless I get suspended. That girl hates you for whatever reason, but it seems like there isn't much anyone can do." Ichigo understood that, but something must be done.

"Hey!" He turned around and saw Loly came back for more. "What were you and that delinquent, Ichigo, talking about?"

"Nothing. He just asked to borrow something, not that it should be your business." Ichigo said as he turned from her, but Loly threw a bag at the back of his head and knocked Ichigo down. "What is your problem?!"

"Go ahead and cry to that loser for help. It won't do anything." Loly said. "If he tries anything like Tatsuki, they'll be suspended and you'll have to fend for yourself when you can't. Everyone thinks your some special princess, but I think you're just downright pitiful and pathetic!"

"Lay off!" Tatsuki called as her friends hated this, but Ichigo kept her from doing anything as he was taking action himself.

"In that case, let's change things up." Ichigo said as he popped his knuckles.

"Hold on! Are you actually thinking of fighting back?!" Loly said as she and Orihime's friends weren't expecting that since they thought it was the real Orihime. Ichigo went for it as he actually looked like he was going to attack Loly.

'If I stop just short of her face, it will give her a good scare, and she'll learn to play nice!' Ichigo thought as he was going to do just that, but that was when Orihime stepped in and tried shielding Loly.

"What is going on here?!" Orihime said, but it was too late. Ichigo couldn't stop an actually punched his own face and was knocked to the ground. None of the girls thought that would actually happen. To them, it was Orihime who punched Ichigo.

"You idiot! Why did you get in the way?!" Ichigo shouted.

"That hurt! I can't believe you really hit me!" Orihime cried.

"I wasn't really going to hit her! I was only trying to scare her!" Ichigo said as he grabbed Orihime and lifted her up. "Why would you even protect her?!"

"I told you not to get involved!" Orihime said. This was so freaky that Loly decided to just run for it with Orihime's friends baffled and astonished over what happened. That was when they both realized what just happened and they felt like they were in real trouble.

...

Later

As school was now over and it seemed like everyone went home, and trying to explain what happened to Orihime's friends, Orihime and Ichigo headed back for the stairs they fell down in hopes that they might be able to switch back.

"Man... What a crazy day." Ichigo complained. "Are you sure this is going to work?"

"Do you have any other ideas?" Orihime questioned as it seemed like there was really nothing else they could do.

"Well, here goes nothing." Ichigo said as they took a leap of faith as they both leaned forward and both of them tumbled down the stairs. They thought they would change back to normal, but they didn't. All they felt was pain. "I knew that wouldn't work."

"Maybe we should try again." Orihime suggested.

"No way! It's not going to work!" Ichigo said. "There must be something we're missing." The problem is that neither of them knew what that could be until something came to Orihime. "What now?"

"I just realized that something else did happen when we fell down the stairs." Orihime said. "Try to remember what happened before he blacked out." Ichigo tried to do just that. He thought back to when they were on the stairs and it soon came to him. Just as Ichigo slipped and fell on Orihime...he fell in a way that caused them to kiss.

"What?! We kissed?!" Ichigo said as he was getting flustered.

"Maybe we should try it." Orihime said as she was blushing as well.

"What?! Are you serious?!" Ichigo said as he was getting nervous.

"It's worth a try." Orihime said as she tried to will herself to do it.

"Hey! Hold on!" Ichigo said, but he couldn't stop it. Orihime actually kissed Ichigo thinking it would help them...and it actually did. Once Ichigo realized it, he backed away and saw that they switched back. "It really worked! We're back to normal!"

"Told you." Orihime said as she couldn't stop blushing. "Well, I should get going." Orihime said as she stood up and was on her way out, but Ichigo was amazed with her.

"What a weird girl." Ichigo said as Orihime's personality is an enigma to him, but he seems interested. Also, there was just something about that kiss other than they were capable of switching bodies. "Hey! Hold up a second!" He called as he went after her thinking she was weird and interesting. What neither of them knew was that someone saw everything unfold as he had glasses and blue hair.

"Interesting..." What is going on in this school?
