Danny : Hey folks it your boy Danny here with a new idea for a Harry Potter Wbwl fic but It a challenge from DZ2 called "D Z2's 'Path to Greatness' Challenge: A Pseudo-Harry Potter/Marvel OR Harry Potter/DC Crossover Challenge which is Harry was always destined for greatness, but even he had no idea how great his path was meant to be. However, when he discovers said greatness, there's almost something familiar about it. It will be different from usual Harry Potter stories ( that I still need to get too but please don't harass me about updates).
In the library of Little Whinging at a table we see a a teenage boy who is was a skinny, black-haired, bespectacled boy who had the pinched, slightly unhealthy look of someone who has grown a lot in a short space of time.
This is Harry Potter and he is currently trying to take his mind off an event he wished to forget about that happned to him at his boarding school in Scotland .
I bet you all wondering what happned at his seemingly oridnary boarding school in Scotland well it not a ordinary one as he goes to a school called Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry Potter is a wizard.
The incident that took was during the third task of an schooling even called the Triwizard Tournament where three champion were selected by the goblet of fire to compete but he was chosen strangely.
Fast forwarded to the third task where he and the orignal hogwart champion Cedric Diggroy was selected they were whisk away by a portkey to the cup and where they ambush by Peter Pettegriew who fired the Ava Keadra spell at Cedric killing him.
Then Peter stunned Harry with a stunner spell and he used a ritual to revived the horrible Dark Lord Voldemort with his blood. Harry was freed by the rat and was forced to duel the dark Lord but Harry managed to escape with the cup and Cedric's body with the help of his parent , Cedric's spirit.
Harry recalled the emotion of fear , sadness and guilt along with declaring the Dark lord was back to the huge crowd.
Harry recalled waking up in the medical room and he was questioned by the staff and the minstry of magic.
Alastor Mad Eye Moody wanted to talk to himn in private only for that to be trap as the veretran auror was revealed to be a thought to be dead Death Eater Barty Crouch Jr. who fantaically proclaimed the return of the Dark Lord.
But the Minister of Magic in all of his ignorance didn't believe Barty Crouch Jr causing the latter to be kissed by a Dementor right in front of Harry.
When he returned to his relatives home he immedataly try to get updates from his friends but he received none along with discovering the Minstry is paying Daily Prohet is slanding him along with the headmaster.
Harry recalled crumpling up the paper in anger but he is not suprised as he recalled the wizaridng world's treatment of him since second year to fourth year where he started off as the golden boy hero now he is a lying attention seeker.
Magical Britain people are filled with people who have a sheep-like mentality who will believe anything that wants to hear but not the truth. In fact, the people of Hogwarts are like that as they will be all friendly but will turn on you if you don't think like them.
Harry thought," The hell with them. The hell with Hogwarts! The Hell with my so called friends! " He thought bitterly as he is sick and tired of being the hero to these fickle people when all they do is walk over him/
Harry shoved his thought in the back of his mind as he has another problem and it is Harry Potter is looking for a new book to read, but he isn't really sure what he wants to read. He is little bore due needing something to read since he read some history on anicent empires, cilivzations and some science fictions novel which made intrigue.
So Harry get up from his booth and he begins wander around the library for something to cure his boredom until he see a comic book on the shelf. Harry doesn't know what it is, but he thinks it looks interesting so he decides to take it home and check it out . He see it is a comic book called "The Amazing Spiderman Vol.1" or Amazing Fantasy number 15 causing grabbed the novel.
Harry looked at the picture where he see a picture of male wearing a bright colorful costume with a spider logo swing on a white fluid and he is holding another man. Harry raised eye brow as he read the title of "The Amazing Spiderman Vol.1"
Harry made his way back to his table where sat down and he begins reading the graphic novel or comic book as it was called.
Harry opened the novel and he begins reading with rapt curiosity as read the premis of the comic book which was about the First Appearance of the Amazing Spider-Man! When young Peter Parker gains remarkable abilities from a radioactive spider,he must step up and try to become a hero — while also dealing with the fantastic pressures of an everyday teenager! For with great power, there must also come great responsibility!
Harry muttered," Now I am curioious about the novel." He flip to the first panel of the comic book that peeked his intrests.
On the first panel Harry is introduce to the seemingly ordinary and shy Peter Parker who wears glasses like him which made Harry felt a bit of ironic but he read forwarded.
A shy, unassuming high-school student, prefers the company of his teachers to that of his classmates, who call him "Midtown High's only professional wallflower." His only living relatives, Uncle Ben and Aunt May, think the world of him.
Harry felt envious of Peter as his own relatives treat him as the scum of the earth as they hated him with every fiber of their being for stupid reasons or petty childhood reasons.
But moving on Harry read on and on one evening, while attending a demonstration of radioactivity at a science hall, Parker fails to notice a spider drop through a "radioactive ray" and receive a massive dose of radiation. It bites him and dies. Light-headed, Parker leaves the demonstration, only to be nearly run over by a car. He leaps to safety, but is surprised to find he has jumped much further than intended. He lands on the side of a building and is clinging to the bricks by his fingertips. He quickly climbs to the roof and, once there, accidentally crumples a steel pipe in his hand. He believes that he has inherited the spider's speed, strength, agility, climbing ability, and detecting any upcoming danger called "spider-sense". He begins to ponder the possibilities.
This made Harry winces as he learned a spider bite gave Peter powers and he thought about Hadgrid 's pet arragog biting him making him shudder but he marveled at the abitlies Peter gained from the spider bite.
He found the powers to be interesting from wall-crawling, super strength, and the sixth sense which is referred to as the spider-sense.
Especially the Spider -sense as he wished he could have that when he is in danger in Hogwarts , when he was younger being bullied by Dudley or when Vernon decided to lay his hands on him.
Shortly thereafter, Parker sees a wrestling ring and a sign: "$100 to the man who can stay in the ring three minutes with Crusher Hogan." He goes home, changes, puts on a hood, and returns to the ring. Hogan laughingly calls Parker the "Masked Marvel," but then Parker lifts Hogan over his head and carries him up a post. Afterward, a man in the crowd introduces himself to Parker as a TV producer, encourages him to go into show business, and gives him his card.
Harry smiled that things are turning around for Peter and his family but he felt a sense of worry for some reason.
At home, Parker makes himself a spider-themed costume, a supply of sticky web fluid, and two jets for his wrists that can shoot the fluid. "Here comes the !" he says.
Harry was amazed by the creative mind of Peter as he saw him invent his web shooters and if Peter Parker existed he would be in Ravenclaw.
The Spider-Man appears on television and becomes a celebrity. One evening, he goes backstage and finds a guard chasing a thief. Spider-Man lets the thief escape and, when the guard complains, tells him, "That's your job! I'm through being pushed around ... by anyone!"
Harry kinda had to agree with Peter on that one as he could compare this to being the protector of the wizarding world when it should be the aurors fighting the dark lord and the deatheaters but Harry sense of dread creeps up his spine as he flipped the panel
A few days later, Parker gets home and learns from a policeman that a burglar has killed his Uncle Ben. The police have cornered the man in the deserted Acme warehouse. Peter dons his costume and swings to the scene as Spider-Man. Once inside, he frightens the man by crawling down the wall toward him. Spider-Man then covers his gun hand with web fluid and KOs him. When he sees the man's face, he recognizes the thief who got away at the studio. He wraps the burglar in webbing and leaves him for the police to find.
Peter is very upset by what has happened and realises if he had stopped the thief at the studio, Uncle Ben would still be alive. From this Peter learns a valuable lesson; "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" and dedicates himself to being a crime fighter.
After hearing the story about Peter's origin about how he misused his powers along with allowing a robber to get away and said robber killing his beloved Uncle Ben to finally becomes a hero in honor of his Uncle which made Harry gain tears in his eyes that Peter became hero after learning a painful lesson.
Harry was touched by the story and he wanted to read so he went to his library in his neighborhood where he found Spider-Man Comics that were in some shabby condition but Harry didn't care.
He begins reading the comic and he learned about the many adventures, bad guys, and love interests and the trgedies Peter / Spider-Man hads face in his double lifes.
Harry , as he reads the comics, grew to be like Peter Parker / Spider-Man as he wishes to have powers like him as he is sick and tired of being pushed around.
By a Malfoy , Snape , his relatives and the magical world or anyone.
In his lamenting Harry notices it getting late and he knows his oh so dear relatives will lock him out of the house if he is late coming home or his prison as the Dursley's home was never his home to begin with.
A couple of minutes Harry is crawling into his bed in his small room with a tired expression on his face as he finished cleaning the kitchen after his relatives eat while he was worked to the bone by preparing dinner from those cretins.
Harry muttered," I guess this is goodnight then. Hopefully things changes." He closes his eyes and he goes underneath the covers.
But unknown to Harry who is fast asleep his magical core was puzzled by its user's desire to have the power of a no-maj fictional character after reviewing the memories of Harry reading the comic books of this Spider-Man character.
The magical core is amazed by the powers of this character and the magical core decided to alter the abilities of the wall-crawler a bfor the user. Before they could grant their user the powers they need to fix the body that had been damaged a harmed due to it user's upbrnging at the hands of the horrid muggles along with fixing the other injuries that were never completed healed.
The magical core begins the process of fixing its user's body and along with giving him abitlis of the character he became an admirer of. If the magical core had a body then it would smile joyful that it user will appericate his new found gifts.
Harry will be in a spectucular suprise.
Note : Hey everyone this is Danny here and with a revisit of Age of Marvel. Harry wil gain spider man''s power with a Potter becoming Spider-Man and I wonder what hobbies should Harry pick up over the summer before his 5 th year. I wonder what should Harry 's reaction be in the next chapter about his changes?I decided to try my hand at s reboot of the story and I have futre plans with this story as it will be building blocks for a universe. This is inspired by Futurist 's fic called Harry Potter: The Spectacular Spiderman. This will take place in the summer before his 5 th year.
