Update on 24/07/2023: Alright, so seeing as how many were in favour of wanting to see the rewrite, I've started to work on that. Of course, as I mentioned in the author's note, I was going to do the rewrite without deleting the story, I would only scrap the fifteen chapters I have and replace them with the rewritten, new ones. That way I'm not just deleting the story to start up something new.

Especially with how many reviews, followers and favourites this story has.

So, what to say about the rewrite? It will take place within The Lightning Thief storyline rather than Titan's Curse, Jakob is twelve, hasn't met Bianca and Nico so he hasn't had that chance to relax and be himself, to open up, so he's going to be a little cold and distant to others for a bit. Kinda like Kratos was in God of War 4, so there's a little similarity there. Jakob still has the Leviathan Axe, but won't get the Blades of Chaos until later on. Also, he has Mimir with him this time after being the one to chop off his head to free him from the unbreakable tree.

And yeah, this story is still a harem story. Don't like that? Then tough.

Disclaimer: I do not own God of War or Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I only own the OC Jakob Thorsson.

Jakob gritted his teeth, suppressing a scream of pain as a massive stone column slammed into him, sending the eight-year-old crashing through a tree. His eyes widening as he saw the tree about to fall on top of him, managing to roll out of the way in time before it did. Before he looked at what had hit him, a monster known as a troll.

Trolls were massive creatures, with Jakob barely coming up to its knees, with large tusks on the edge of their faces. All Trolls had massive strength, durability, and stamina, along with having higher intelligence than most monsters, making them more dangerous as they could think and plan. And if that wasn't enough, each troll also carried gigantic stone totems with runes carved into them. With the runes strengthening their abilities and granted them power over an element.

The redhead quickly jumped back when the troll shot a blast of flames out of its hand at him, roaring as it charged him with its pillar held above its head.

'Weapon! I need a weapon, something, anything!' Jakob thought as he ran through the forest, looking around for anything that he could use against the Troll before noticing the shadow descending towards him, rolling out of the way in time to avoid being crushed by the Troll's totem.

Only to bite his cheek, when a wave of flames erupted from the impact, burning his left side and throwing him back against a tree. Grunting as he forced himself to stand up, Jakob couldn't help but feel relief when he saw a sharp-looking rock sticking out of the snow. Thanking whatever god decided to show a little mercy, Jakob grabbed the rock before jumping out of the way of the Troll's fist as it smashed through the tree.

With the Son of Thor rushing the troll, getting in close and began stabbing and slashing at its leg, the monster roaring at the attacks before raising its foot up to crush the demigod. Only to roar in pain, when Jakob took the opportunity to stab the rock deep into its foot with it being buried even deeper when it stomped down.

'That should at least slow it down a little.' Jakob thought before he took off running again, knowing while it may slow the troll down, it'll also make it even angrier.

Unfortunately, Jakob didn't get far when something slammed into his back and sent him flying, making him bite his cheek again to avoid screaming in pain. Though he did let out a grunt when he crashed into the ground, looking to see he's back in the clearing they started in. Along with seeing what crashed into him when a large tree came flying out of the forest, towards him. Jakob's eyes widened at the sight before he tried moving out of the way, barely dodging the tree as it crashed down where he once was.

Though he was then forced to raise his hands, gritting his teeth as the Troll's totem smashed down against him. The Demigod felt the ground crack beneath as the troll kept pushing the totem down to crush to him. With Jakob using all his strength to keep it from getting closer, only to squeeze his eyes shut when the runes on it lit up with fiery energy and began burning his hands.

'Come on, come on! Push it back!' Jakob thought, struggling to push the totem back towards the troll or away from him.

Knowing if he didn't do it soon, then he'll either be crushed or burned alive, given he wouldn't be getting any help. That thought made Jakob growl in anger before his eyes snapped open, with them now glowing and sparking with electricity as he glared at the troll. Before, slowly, he began pushing the totem back until he was standing up, panting in anger. Only to shout and throw his arms up, sending the totem flying straight at the Troll's face.

The troll looking in shock at the sight before grunting in pain as its totem smashed into its face, sending the monster stumbling backwards. With Jakob jumping up and grabbing one of the Trolls tusks, flipping around to land on the back of the Trolls head. Jakob then began punching the Troll repeatedly in the head, making it stumble around with each blow. Until the troll managed to right itself, roaring as it tried throwing Jakob off, only for the redhead to hold on and continue punching it.

Before with a final punch, Jakob jumped off as the Troll went falling to the ground with a loud crash. The Son of Thor panting as he landed on the ground, only to jump up and slam his feet right down onto the Troll's back when it tried getting up, before he went over to the Trolls head. Glaring at the monster, Jakob grabbed the troll by its tusks, grunting as he twisted the Trolls head around snapping its neck.

Though Jakob didn't stop there, before he broke one of the Troll's tusks off and began repeatedly stabbing it in the head and neck.

"You're nothing to me! You worthless, brainless monster! You're nothing! DIE!" Jakob shouted as he kept stabbing the Troll, not caring that it was already dead.

Only for the son of Thor to be pulled from his raged-induced state when someone grabbed his wrist, stopping his assault on the Troll's body. Gasping when the person lifted him up before tossing him onto the ground. With Jakob's anger instantly fading when he saw the familiar cold-blooded and serious expression on his father's face.

"I-I…I did as you asked father…the Troll's dead." Jakob said, bowing his head, while his father continued to simply look at him.

"I said no weapons." Stated the god, making Jakob gulp before quickly tossing the broken tusk aside.

"I-it was already dead when I broke its tusk off!" Said Jakob, knowing if his father told him to do something, then he had to do exactly as he said or else.

With the god remaining silent before walking over to the Troll's feet, Jakob paling slightly as he ripped open the Troll's foot and grabbed the rock he used against it.

"Then explain this." He demanded, Jakob shaking a little since he knew he was in trouble before he gagged and clutched his stomach when his father flicked the rock at him.

Holding back, otherwise the rock would have gone straight through him.

"But I suppose you did succeed in killing it with your own hands. So, you'll be walking back to the Temple of Týr after you find and kill three Ancients while bringing their hearts back as proof." Said the god, causing Jakob to look at him in disbelief.

"Th-th-three A-An-An-Ancients?!" Jakob said, not believing he wanted to find and kill three Ancients and bring back their hearts.

Finding Ancients was hard enough due to their bodies being made entirely out of rock, making them difficult to spot them if they're sleeping. But killing them was nearly impossible with how their bodies are basically indestructible, and his father is telling him to kill three.

"Would you prefer three Soul Eaters, instead? Or perhaps three Dragons?" Demanded the god narrowing his eyes dangerously, his son quickly shaking his head.

"No! No, I'll find the Ancients and bring their hearts back, I swear!" Jakob said, knowing he shouldn't push his luck.

"Good…I expect them by nightfall. Otherwise, we'll have to start your training from the beginning if you can't handle such a simple task." The god said before vanishing in a bolt of lightning.

Once he was sure his father was gone, Jakob collapsed to his hands and knees, spitting up blood while clutching his side, feeling the broken ribs from his fight with the Troll. Not helped, when his father flicked the rock at him, along with his burned hands.

Having learned to suppress his pain and not let it show, as it'd only make things worse during his training. Only doing so, when he knew he was alone or only those he could trust were around.

Coughing and gagging for a more moments, Jakob shakily stood up before leaving to track down three Ancients, knowing he didn't have a lot of time left before nightfall...

"Brother! Brother!"

"ARGH!" With a roar, a twelve-year old Jakob Thorsson snapped awake, a war axe flying into his hand by his will, his gaze looking around wildly as if expecting a threat. But there was nothing, only the dark woods of Long Island, with the only source of light being the campfire in front of the twelve-year old demigod, still burning with no signs of dwindling anytime soon.

Jakob Thorsson was a twelve-year old young man with slicked back red hair, slightly pale skin and blue eyes. Along with being surprisingly muscular for his age, while also having several runic tattoos along his arms, going up to his shoulders and even across his back. His clothing consisted of dark reddish-brown steel-toed boots, dark blue jeans, a black short-sleeved top, black leather fingerless gloves and a black hooded leather bomber jacket.

"Brother?"

Jakob looked over at the source of the voice, only to see a blinking severed head. Normally, this would freak out anyone and possibly make them faint, but Jakob knew the head personally.

He was a creature known as a Fae, from the island formerly known as Avalon. He had two small horns on his head and a long grey beard. The crown of his head is covered in runic tattoos, and his lower lip is tattooed with a pattern, trailing down from the sides of his mouth and ending just above his beard. He also possesses a pair of glowing, golden eyes.

His name was Mimir.

Jakob sighed and slowly relaxed and leaned back against the log that had been his 'pillow' for all intents and purposes. He stared at the weapon in his hand, the Leviathan Axe, an axe forged by Dwarves. The blade was a dark grey color with a golden inlaid silver edge with runes along it, a wooden shaft with golden designs reinforcing it, and a matching golden pommel.

"You were fidgeting and muttering in your sleep. Nightmares?" Mimir asked softly.

"I dream of the past... and it isn't pleasant memories." Jakob said with a sigh as he rubbed his forehead.

"Ah, the days of your time in Asgard?" Mimir asked, knowing Jakob didn't talk much about his time in Asgard before he escaped.

"No... my time being trained by my father." Jakob said, his fists clenching.

"Take heart, brother, Magni and Modi suffered the same and were just as bruised as you likely were." Mimir said, trying to reassure him.

Jakob scoffed. "And looked how they turned out. Always tripping over themselves to impress our father. If he did the same to Thrúd-"

"I hear she wanted to be a Valkyrie, she'd have to have serious training for that, lad." Mimir said softly, knowing that to train to be a Valkyrie, Thrúd would have train very hard and most likely have her father help her out, be her training partner and teacher. "Harsh as the training, especially under Thor, likely is... it's what shapes you into the warrior you are today. Besides, you're alive, aren't you?"

Jakob chuckled. "I'm actually surprised I didn't die."

As silence filled the air, Jakob took a glance at the sky. It was still very dark, with no sign of dawn coming yet. So that must mean it is still very early in the morning, possibly an hour or two after midnight. Soon, his thoughts started to go back to the last five months... to when he escaped that place.

'Five months, huh? Time sure flies while running but I know I can't remain hidden forever. No one outruns Grandfather with those damn ravens of his.' Jakob thought with a subtle scowl. For five months he's been running and hiding from... those people.

He's always looked for an opportunity to escape and hide, but there never came a window of opportunity for him, but he always kept his eyes sharp and opened for such a chance. And he got his chance back in December, around the time of the Winter Solstice, actually not long after it, when something big happened, something that must've been so important that they took their eyes off Jakob, allowing him to slip away and run for it and he's never stopped since. He knew that if he's caught and brought back, it will be worse for him.

Of course, he met an... ally that helped him in hiding from them, placing a protection rune on his neck to hide him from those hunting him. He also came across Mimir before his escape and decapitated him, as Mimir's body was bound to a tree that no weapon could free him from. thankfully, Mimir didn't stay 'dead' long as his head was reanimated through use of the Old Magic.

Jakob stopped running when he came to America, knowing that's the last place they'd look for him especially this close to New York. But he knew that eventually they'll start looking in places they never expected, regardless of the consequences.

"Five months, Mimir... it feels just like yesterday." Jakob said with a sigh as he picked up a stick and started to poke the campfire with it.

"Aye." Mimir said with his own soft sigh. "Feels just like yesterday where Odin came for his usual daily routine of torturing me. Still feels like yesterday where you came along and chopped my head off, though it was for the better quite frankly. Still wonder what will become of my body."

Jakob snorted in amusement. "Probably waste away or will remain there as it is for eternity. Maybe one day, you'll end up seeing it again."

"No." Mimir said instantly. "That's a sight no man should have to see, but thanks for putting the image in my brain."

"You're welcome."

As silence started to fill the air, Mimir then spoke up. "Have you noticed anything strange really since we came to Midgard back in December?"

"Not really, why?" Jakob asked with a frown, wondering what Mimir was talking about.

"Well, the weather." Mimir said, and Jakob glanced up at the sky but was still confused. "When we arrived, I was sure your father was in one of his foul moods with how the sky rumbled and thundered as if it was alive. And not only that, the sea had been anything but calm these days. And this has all happened for five months straight, six once we come into June in a few days. If I had to guess, especially with us this close to Olympus, I'd say-"

"That Zeus and Poseidon are behind this." Jakob finished for him.

"Aye."

Jakob scoffed and shook his head. "Zeus and Poseidon are known to argue every time they are in a room together over the most stupidest of things. So I wouldn't be surprised if the sky and the sea have been acting this way because of an argument."

"For five months? Really?" Mimir asked skeptically. "I fear there's more to it than that, brother."

"Whatever it is, it's not our problem." Jakob said firmly, adamant in not having anything to do with the Gods, no matter the pantheon. "The Olympians can handle their own problems, while we can remain busy avoiding the Aesir. Besides, the Olympians don't know of our presence in America, especially those close to New York, and I'd like to keep it that way."

"Very well, but you have to admit I'm right. Something is going on." Mimir said just as firmly as Jakob had.

Before Jakob could reply to that, he tensed when he heard a growl and slowly turned his head only to narrow his eyes when he saw a a black dog the size of a garbage truck, with burning red eyes, and teeth sharp enough to rip apart metal.

A Hellhound.

"Uh-oh." Mimir said quietly as Jakob slowly stood, grabbing Mimir and clipping him to the back of his right hip, all without never taking his eyes off the Hellhound who looked ready to pounce on the son of Thor. "Brother, look out!"

Jakob had just whirled around when something grabbed him and then threw him hard, sending him crashing through multiple trees before he came crashing into the ground, rolling to a stop near the edge of a cliff where he saw nothing but a flowing river below. The son of Thor grunted in pain as he pushed himself onto one hand and his knees.

"Tasty meat! No move! You die!"

Looking, Jakob's eyes narrowed once again when he saw that his attacker had been none other than a Cyclops.

"A Cyclops and a Hellhound... perfect." Jakob mutteed sarcastically as he got to his feet as his opponents approached. However, a second Cyclops soon burst out of the dark woods and swung it's club at Jakob but the son of Thor was ready this time as he ducked under it and rolled away from the monsters, body tense and ready for a fight. "Make that two Cyclops."

"Considering they've never smelled a demigod of another pantheon before, I'd wager a guess that your scent was too irresistible to them." Mimir explained helpfully.

"That's really not helping." Jakob remarked with annoyance.

"Sorry."

"Stupid food! Stop talking! You die now!" The Cyclops with the club said, pointing it's weapon at him.

"We shall see." Jakob replied, narrowing his eyes as they glowed and sparked with lightning, the same element dancing along his arms and between his fingers.

The Hellhound was the first to charge, followed by the Cyclops. Jakob charged back, shoulder-bashing the Hellhound in the face when it leaped at him, fired a beam of lightning at the Cyclops with the club where he hit it in the chest before he leaped and delivered a lightning-powered right fist into the face of the other Cyclops, sending it toppling into a tree and taking said tree down with it.

"Nice one!" Mimir laughed before seeing something. "Behind you! Look out!"

Jakob whirled around, ducking down quick to avoid the Hellhound but he grabbed the beast by it's tail and slammed it into the ground repeatedly, holding it by the tail before he slammed it down one final time, then brought his boot down on it's head hard which crushed it and the body soon dissolved into shadows soon after.

Now with only the Cyclops' left, Jakob turned and regarded them as they shoo off their attacks from him and faced him. Jakob opened his hand and the Leviathan Axe soon came flying right into his hand, the son of Thor rolling his shoulders and neck in preparation for a fight.

"Die!" the Cyclops with the club yelled as he charged, swinging the club. Jakob rolled underneath it, threw the Leviathan Axe which struck the Cyclops' right arm and caused it to hold the club with one hand for the moment. Meanwhile, Jakob charged at the other Cyclops as it tried to stomp him but he avoided it's stomps and leaped, delivering a punch into it's stomach before he kicked off and grabbed onto the other Cyclops. Recalling the Leviathan Axe, Jakob brought the axe down into the Cyclops' shoulder first, and then reared back to strike the eye when he was pulled off by the other Cyclops.

"Watch out!" Mimir shouted before the Cyclops slammed Jakob into the ground repeatedly, the back of Jakob's head smacking off the ground hard which caused his vision to blur and darken fr a few seconds before he shook it off as adrenaline and lightning coursed through him.

"Enough!" Jakob roared letting out a shockwave of lightning which caused the Cyclops to drop him. Landing on his feet, Jakob blasted the first Cyclops right in it's one eye with a beam of lightning, then whirled around and fired two more powerful beams of lightning at the other Cyclops just as it raised the club to smash him like one of those Whack-a-mole game machines in arcades. The Cyclops soon dissolved into golden dust, leaving only the now blind Cyclops that was clutching at it's eye with whimpers of pain.

'Time to end this.' Jakob thought, shaking off a brief moment of blurry vision before he recalled the Leviathan Axe to him, reared back as the blade became encased in ice, before he threw it and the axe struck the Cyclops in the head, causing it to become encased in ice just before the Cyclops toppled over. The impact of it's ice-encased head hitting the ground caused it to shatter into pieces, and the body dissolved into golden dust soon afterwards.

Jakob recalled the Leviathan Axe with a sigh before he stumbled a step when his vision blurred again, and the back of his head flared in pain.

"Oh..." Jakob groaned, putting a hand against a tree to steady himself.

"You alright, brother?" Mimir asked, concerned.

"I'm... fine." Jakob said before he groaned again as he pushed himself off the tree only to stumble a few more steps, unaware of how close he was to the cliff edge... but Mimir wasn't.

"Jakob! Watch out for the-" Mimir was unable to finish his warning as Jakob missed a step and slipped off the edge, falling towards the river below.

The last thing Jakob felt was the sensation of falling before the feeling of hitting something cold and wet...

And that's it for the first chapter of the rewrite. It might not be much or that good, but I did try my best with it. I tried to make a realistic reason to knock Jakob out, such as having the back of his head smack off the ground after being slammed repeatedly by a Cyclops. That would daze and cause anyone to blacken out, so I'm going to assume that demigods are no exception to it.

But hey, least it won't be a concussion he gets.

Now, as for the harem...

Harem: Silena Beauregard, Thalia Grace, Katie Gardner, Annabeth Chase, Andromeda Jackson (Female Percy), Bianca Di Angelo, Thrúd, Freya, Artemis, Athena, Hestia, Skadi,

Who I'm considering/Maybe: Zoe, Piper, Aphrodite, Hylla.
