Ribbons.
Ruffles.
Bows.
Skirts.
Dresses.
Shoes.
He likes all the cute things. The ribbons keeping hair up or on the clothes. Ruffles of the skirts. Bows on shoes, specifically mary janes. He loves them all. Who doesn't want to feel cute? And why are girls clothes more cute?
Why do girl clothes have more variety? Sometimes boy/men clothes are boring and doesn't have much when it comes to variety in style.
He doesn't remember when it started but he has always eyed the cute girly things and clothes. He never got the courage to dress up until one day a friend mischievously blackmailed him into a dress, wig, heels, even some make up. He enjoyed it. It also help that in middle school he didn't bulk up too much. And now in high school he still has his small physic to continue that his friend helps with still.
It makes him happy but he knows he must keep it a secret from others. He's glad he doesn't have to keep it from everyone because those who do know are very supportive of him and he's thankful for that.
Sanji couldn't stop staring at the tan beauty with reddish blonde like hair, she showed off her straight white teeth as she smile at her friend. She wore a white short sleeve blouses, black skirt with a belt that showed off she has wide hips and slim waist. She wasn't tall but the skirt is short enough to show off her legs, smooth and flawless, his eyes go down from her rather thick thighs to her perfectly curved calf, stopping at her slim ankles that one has an anklet along with the cute three inch heels that didn't do much to help her height, but that's not why she wore them if he can guess. Sanji couldn't get a good look at her face from where he stood, her long hair and bangs shielding her face. There is only one way to see and that's to go up to talk to her.
As he gets closer to to the pretty lady he notices that the other woman next to the lady who caught his eye is his classmate. Her name is Nami, she has her orange hair up in a ponytail, with a t-shirt depicting some popular show and slim fitting jeans with open toed heels that match her hair. The girl he wants to know shows Nami something, causing the orange haired woman to laugh, then nudging the woman back.
He clears his throat, Nami turns first with a grin on her face. She blinks as her smile fades. She stares at the blonde confused. "Do you need something?" Nami asks. Hearing her friend talking the red- flaxen haired girl turns to look at Sanji. With a full view of her face Sanji gasps softly, she's very beautiful. She has a round face. Thin eyebrows, dark long eyelashes that cover her bright white- grey eyes. Her nose fit her face, curving wonderfully to a slight point. Her lips perfectly pink, and full but not overly so. Her hair frame her face wonderfully.
"I couldn't help notice you two ladies by yourself, would it be alright if I accompany you both?" he asks with his lady killer smile. It doesn't do anything to them, the red- blonde haired girl looks at Nami then back at Sanji who grins at her. Nami's eyes narrow at Sanji who stare at her friend like he's... smitten with her? He did call her beautiful. "I'm in the same class as Nami but I don't think I've seen you around school. If I could please have your no doubt beautiful name?" Sanji asks looking at the white - gray eyes that have grown wider in stunned silence. She looks at Nami who held a hand to cover her mouth, eyes also wide. Then her mouth turns into a grin, Cheshire Cat grin.
This is interesting.
Nami watches as her friend turns back to Sanji, mouth open to talk but Nami quickly moves a hand over her mouth, silencing her on anything she might want to say. Nami gives a strained smile to Sanji. "Her name is..." Nami darts her eyes around to quickly find a name but not finding one so she stare at her friend who look back shocked and confused. Nami stares up at her friends hair, it kind of looks like the color of, "Peaches," Nami answers. Her friends eyebrows furrow up in more confusion. What is she doing? "Her name is Peach, she's my friend from middle school," that's not a lie, she's has known "Peach" since middle school. "She's like my sister," also not a lie, "but goes to a different school and she's mute so she doesn't talk." Nami smiles trying to cover up her two lies, kind of three.
"Peach?" Sanji questions. Looking the girl over, Nami still covering her mouth. He can see it with her hair color, peaches are yellow with tints of red as it grows, until it turns into a tan peach color. Hence where it got its name. Peach. He thinks about it, how her name sound in his head. It is as precious a name as she is.
"Yup," Nami nods, smile still on her face, "her parents are eccentric." Nami explains, the blonde nodding, they must be to have named their daughter after a fruit.
"We'll it's nice to meet you Peach." Sanji says with a smile. Peach looks at Nami, the orange head gives her a look, commanding her to go along with it. Peach nods at Sanji who smiles. Peach look away bashfully, the blonde thinking cute. "What are you ladies planning to do now?" he asks politely. Peach and Nami look at each other then look back at Sanji.
"It's around time for us to eat, so we were going to eat at the fast food place over there." Nami answers pointing Burger Queen. Sanji looks over and nods.
"Let's go, I'll order for us all." Sanji says leading them.
They stand in line, waiting their turn. The whole time Nami saw the way the Sanji look at 'Peach' while they wait. Peach held her black purse in her hands as she look down, not noticing Sanji looking at her. "The usual right?" Nami asks Peach, who looks at her with a nod. Then Nami looks at Sanji with a smile. "I'll order for me and... Peach" she tells the blonde, who nods. He can't order for them all since the precious Peach doesn't talk. He wouldn't be able to order for her.
When they got to the cashier Sanji let Nami order first, Sanji stare shocked as she order almost a whole buffet. When the cashier got that all and asked if they wanted anything else he ordered a simple chicken sandwich with fries and a large drink. Peach hands Nami her card to pay and she does as Sanji stare at their long order. What is for Nami and what is for Peach? Are they going to eat it all? Can they? He has met only two people who can eat that much.
Sanji takes the receipt, with a smile he says, "I'll wait, why don't you both take a seat." He says, upset with himself for getting distracted by the long order and having the lovely Peach pay. Nami smiles.
"Thanks," she says grabbing Peach's arm, squeezing it as she gives a nod and smile to Sanji who brightens even more. Nami drags them away as she watch Sanji stand happily waiting. He really seems to be smitten with Peach. Nami pushes the fruit named girl into a booth.
Peach takes a look at Sanji to see the blonde fairly distracted with waiting as he read the receipt. Then she looks back at Nami with a glare, she raises her hand to cover her mouth. "What are you doing?" She asks in a harsh whisper. Her voice always a problem when she dresses up. It was rather raspy but not overly deep but with how she looks now, it doesn't match. Nami just gives a smile, one of her devilish ones.
"I don't know what you mean." Nami plays innocent but knows it wont work on her friend.
"You know he hates me." She tells the orange haired woman.
"Relax Zoro- I mean Peach. It's just for fun. Do this and I'll clear some of your debt."
"I thought helping you get with my sister did that." Zoro frowns at Nami, who blushes. She then shrugs and smiles.
"It seems like fun." Nami says.
"It's messed up is what it is." Zoro grumbles crossing her arms over her fake breasts, legs crossing under the table.
"If you don't go along with this I'll tell Perona and increase your debt." Nami threatens. Zoro's frown grows to a glare. Her and her damn debt.
"Fine." Zoro agrees. What could possibly happen?
Something bad. That's what. It sucked not being able to talk, thanks to Nami telling Sanji that she's mute all she could do is nod, smile, or shake her head. She is also stuck with a stupid fruit as a name. She doesn't know what's worse, Nami giving the blonde her actual phone number or Nami agreeing on her behalf to a date. Just her and the blonde. Zoro ("Peach") glared at Nami the whole way back home. She's got her first ever date with the person who hates her.
Well not her, but when she's not dressed up. At school as boring, grumpy Zoro, Sanji hates Zoro. As Zoro he's not even sure what he did but it must have been something because when they got paired up for class he gave into the bait and started pushing back against the blondes insults, it got so bad that they started a fist fight. But that didn't seem to stop the teachers from pairing them up most of time. Still doesn't know what he did for the blonde to call him names and still doesn't.
This isn't a position he would like to be in. What's he going to do if it's let out? And why a date?!
"Oh, I can't believe our little Zoro is having his first date." His oldest sister Bonney says, rubbing his short bright green hair. Zoro save Bonney a pout disguised as a frown. Then they turn to Perona who is laughing so hard she's holding her stomach. Nami smiling at her as they sat on Zoro's bed.
"You mean Peach's first!" Perona says, laughing her ass off again. Bonney looks around at the group.
"What?" she asks confused. It makes her even more curious when Zoro blushes.
"It's Namis fault!" Zoro whines pointing at said girl. "I was out with her shopping when a classmate of ours comes over to talk. But I was in my favorite outdoor outfit and didn't know what to do so Nami introduces me as Peach, then he asks me for a date and Nami agreed for me." Zoro explains. Then looks at Bonney to see her covering her mouth so she wouldn't laugh out loud, but her face is red from trying to hold it in and her whole body trembled.
"That's so funny!" Bonney gives up and laughs out loud, joining Perona who has now thrown herself over Nami's legs. Zoro frowns at Nami who just gives him a grin.
"You say you don't want to but you sure are taking your time to pick an outfit." Nami say with sly grin as Zoro freezes with hangers in his both hand. One hung a purple dress while the other hung an outfit. A blue shirt with white shorts. Zoro blushes as his sisters stare at him.
"J-just because I don't want to go doesn't mean I w-want to look bad." Zoro answers. The three girls smile at him. Sometimes he's worse than them.
"If you don't hurry you are going to be late." Nami says looking down at the magazine in her lap. Zoro blushes but gets ready. Getting his sisters opinions on his choices. Listen to their advice and getting them to help him.
"T-then I'm going." Zoro says as Peach, walking out the house now dressed.
"Have fun!" Nami yells at her.
"But not too much fun!" Bonney shouts, causing Zoro to start running. She could hear them laughing in the distance, which made the blush on her face burn brighter. She kept the same wig from last time, that being Namis idea. It wasn't her best wig but now she's stuck with it. As an outfit she wore the blue short sleeve button up blouse with the white shorts to match her white ankle wrap open toed wedges.
Zoro looks down at herself, she's very happy with her outfit. She's also happy to show off her manicured toes and nails. It just started to get warmer and warmer signaling summer is around the corner. Zoro moves to check herself in the reflection of the tinted window. She's very happy with how she looks. It's amazing how different she looks with long hair, makeup and a cute outfit. No one would ever guess that under the beautifully done hair and makeup or the cute clothes is none other than Zoro, the guy that with one look makes people shake with fear. She never asked to be that person, someone just labeled her that way and it stuck. She didn't want it and now she can't get rid of that persona.
She is glad that Nami did the wig, that's not something Zoro is good at. Of course she's learning but it's still hard. As Zoro is checking her hair she realizes her mistake. Her earrings. She didn't change her three golden earrings with anything. She was busy rushing herself that she forgot, all she did is put on a silver earring on her right ear. It doesn't match! That and it's a dead give away that she's actually Zoro. It should be fine though. Sanji might not have ever noticed. He's always busy making fun of her natural hair.
"Peach! My lovely darling!" Zoro jumps in her skin looking to who's shouting like a crazy person, then realizing it's her that's being called. She turns to find Sanji sprinting towards her stupidly, a goofy look on his face.
And now she's nervous. What if she screws up? What happens after? What if he learns the truth? That can't happen.
"I'm sorry I'm late, something kept me from leaving on time." he smiles at her obviously checking her out. Zoro shakes her head, holding onto her wicker handbag. Damn, how is this suppose to go? Hopefully it doesn't work out and he leaves her alone. That would be for the best. She's just gotta stay quiet and seem not to interested, which shouldn't be to hard. They have nothing in common. Not that they even hung out in the first place. Sanji smiles at her, even with the wedges on she still only touches his chest. Her hair stands out, compared to the blue and white of the rest of her outfit but it still looks cute on her. And her hair is also done but it's subtle. Again, she is showing off her wonderful legs, Sanji might be in love with them. "So I was thinking about eating lunch, then seeing a movie and hang around doing what seems to be interesting to us." He smiles at her.
Zoro nods. That actually sounds fun. It's kind of what she does with Nami and her sisters anyway. Sanji beams. Good. She seems to like the idea.
"Come on, I know a good cafe around here that serves good meals." He steps, motioning he's going to start walking. Zoro moves to walk next to him.
They walk side by side in silence. It's kind of awkward, Zoro half expecting him to start insulting her like he usually does. But nothing. She turns her head to look at him. He's not bad looking. It's odd that he has an eyebrow that curls but her hair is naturally green, so who is she to judge really. She only makes fun of his eyebrow because he makes fun of her hair. His face is well constructed though. A perfect oval shaped head, straight nose, high cheekbones but it's not noticeable with how full his face his, he's even got a nice jawline, his lips are thin but they suit him. She will admit to herself that he's a very handsome man. And she has always wanted to see his full face since half his face is always covered by his bangs. He wore a white shirt underneath his denim jacket, the sleeves rolled up revealing nice strong looking forearms, he held his hands in his jean pockets that stuck to his legs, that Zoro knew are strong. He's always has an easy time playing soccer during P.E at school. He wore what she knows are harvard leather shoes in a blue that match his jeans and denim jacket. She looks back up to see him smiling at her. Blushing she turns her head away.
How embarrassing she was caught staring. But she couldn't help it. She always sees him in their school uniform. She never in a million years thought she would see him outside of school, let alone be going a date with him. Zoro's eyes zero in on the window display of a store. It's like it called her so she let it, her legs moving to see the mannequin display. She stare at the cute dress on display. It has a thin strap and the sleeves fall off the shoulder. It's got ruffles on the hem of the dress. It's blue, with purple flowers and green leaves. She can already see herself wearing it with purple stockings, or her thigh high socks, she's sure she can find some shoes that would match too. She digs into her handbag for her phone to take pictures of the store and the outfit so she can find it some other time. When she turns around she finds that Sanji isn't there. Oh, shit, they got seperated with each other. She forgot for a second she's on a date. She usually is with her sister or her two friends, and if one of them spots an outfit from a window display they all see it too, all going to get closer with each other. Well, what does she do now? There isn't much of a choice. Guess she'll have to go look for him.
"So, Peach how hungry are you?" He asks knowing she can eat, having seen her eat with Nami. It was a shock but nothing compares to Luffy. He can see the two already getting along. He turns to his side to see her not there. He freezes, looking around to try and spot her. Where did she go?
He starts back tracking. She couldn't have gotten far. He only looked away for a second.
She got far. She must walk fast because he found her further than where they first meet up. She also looked confused, she must have also been looking for him but why is she looking for him all the way here? "Peach!" He calls for her name but she must not have heard him because she continued to look around. "Peach!" He shouts louder. This time she turns around and spots him. She sprints to him cutely, he meets her half way. "You wondered off." He says. To that she nods, yes she did and that's her fault. She points to the window of a store. He looks at it then at her confused. Why is she pointing at the window display of a men's clothing store. Then it hit him. She must have seen something in one of the stores she wanted but he kept walking. "Did you see something you liked?" She nods. "You could have pulled me. I wouldn't have minded." He smiles at her. Almost told her to have tell him till he remembered she doesn't speak. Peach bites her lip, frustrated with this stupid barrier about not speaking. The worst part is she can but because Nami pulled out of her ass that Zoro is mute they have this useless communication barrier. Oh wait. She can just type it out. She looks again into her bag for her phone. She starts typing to Sanji, but doesn't send it to him. It would take to long. Sanji gets what she's doing and waits patiently. Instead of sending it to him she turns her phone to him.
I saw an outfit I liked and went closer to get a look at it but when I turned around you weren't there so I went to look for you. She typed. He saw that she typed to him, which makes sense, if she accidently hits send she's not going to confuse anyone.
"Okay, but why are you searching for me all the way over here? It's the opposite of where we were walking." He asks her. She looks at him confused.
I'm going the right way. Sanji reads, he looks at the phone then her.
"Do you have a bad sense of direction?" He asks her. Her whole face turns red, answering his question but she decides to type anyway.
I do not! I have a good sense of direction. She frowns at him. He smiles. She does not have a good sense of direction. He reaches for her hand, and found that they are warm but her fingers are slim and small in his larger hands.
"Alright, if you say so." He grins at her, he pulls her to start walking. "Lets go have our lunch. I'm sure you are more hungry now than before." He says looking forward. With her hand that's not being held she pats her stomach. Yeah, she could eat.
As they walked she looks down at his hands. She wore silver bracelets with charms, and she could feel him wearing rings. He's one of those guys. She's never thought about wearing rings but they fit him. Wonder if she could pull them off? Since she's started this Zoro has tried many things but rings aren't one of them.
When they finally got to the cafe, they had to wait in line for a few minutes. Sanji didn't let go of her hand until they got to their seat which she realized she didn't mind him doing. She didn't even think twice about Sanji holding her hand, it was actually nice. She shakes her head of those thought.
"You could order what you like." He says looking at the menu. She taps the table, when he looks up at her she shows him her phone.
Are you sure? I eat a lot, like you saw before. I could pay for myself. He looks at her with a grin.
"I'm sure. It's fine. I have a friend named Luffy who eats more than you, it's not a pleasant sight." He tells her. Zoro just nods her head, looking down at the menu.
She knows Luffy. Who doesn't? She hangs out with him sometimes. He's nice and they do get along with each other, she just prefers to hang out with Nami, Robin and Chopper. Not only do they know her secret but they know her as person. They've all known each other since middle school. Zoro is just more comfortable around Nami, Robin, and Chopper than Luffy and his friends.
She knocks on the table again to get his attention. She shows the menu and points at what she wants. "You want the omurice?" He asks, she nods, then moves to point at what else. "And a sandwich, salad, and a slice of pie." Peach looks at him weirdly at the last one. She looks at the menu then points again, showing him. "Oh, sorry, you want pudding. Vanilla?" He asks, she nods. Just in time too, a waitress comes to them. "We'll have two omurice, one sandwich, one salad and a pudding. And to drink two fruit punches." He smiles at her.
"Is that all?" She asks taking their menus.
"Yes, thank you." She just nods and leaves, ignoring Sanji smiles.
"Cute shoes." She says to Peach who lets out a breath taking smile. She's very happy to be complimented. The waitress leaves.
"Is it all right I ordered your drink?" He wonders. Zoro just nods. She didn't mind. She's more hungry than thirsty and she's not that picky. "So tell me about yourself? How did you meet Nami?" Zoro grabs her phone and starts typing.
How about you start first? Sanji reads it with a grin.
"Alright. What do you want to know?" He asks back, she looks away to think for a second. She could ask him anything.
Favorite color? She asks. He chuckles.
"Blue. Yours?"
Don't have one. I don't really care about color but if I were to choose green. She smiles at him.
"Any siblings?" He wonders. "I have four, one older sister. I'm technically a quadruplet but I was born third of my brothers. I don't see them often since I live here with my adopted father." Sanji says. Zoro could only stare. Of course she didn't know but to think he would be so open about it with a stranger he's only met with once before.
I'm the youngest of three. I have two older sisters. If it's alright to tell me why do you live with your adopted father? What about your siblings? Who are they with? She wonders. Sanji smiles.
"So, your family is full of girls." He smiles at her, she blushes. "I ran from home when I was younger. Zeff, my adopted father found me and took me in. I've been with him for what seems like forever now. My sibling live with my biological father." Sanji could see the curiosity in her wonderfully beautiful doe like eyes. "I didn't fit in with my family so I ran away. It's getting better now, I see them but I tend to stay away. It wasn't the same after our mother died." He tells her, he hears a gasp. Not thinking clearly she reaches forward to hold onto Sanji's hand, comforting him. He holds back. Now noticing her manicured hands, like he's holding the hands of a princess. "It's okay, I'm over it now, mostly. It's better like this." He smiles at her. "How about you? What's your family like?"
My older sister is a man in disguise. She eats pizza like a competitive eater all the time. She dresses in clothes that look to small and show off too much skin. My second sister is a goth. She likes death, well she likes the macabre, that the terms for it. She likes wearing lotita outfits, though, some of them are cute. She shows Sanji who takes while to read, trying to soak up the information.
"You must like dressing up. What about your parents?" He asks, watching as she deletes what she wrote. "Zeff is a cook and is very grumpy but we get along. He's taught me everything I know today so I'm thankful for that."
I do like dresses up. I think there is an outfit for every occasion. And it's just our dad. Our mom past a way a little after I was born. I've don't have memories of her like my sisters do, but I have photos and their stories. She gives her date a sad smile. She's hasn't had to tell anyone about herself in a really long time.
"So we both lost our moms. What about your dad? What's he like?"
Serious all the time. Working. Away on business. We don't see him that often but when we do he spoils us all like crazy. Do you cook at your father's restaurant too? What did you learn with him? She tilts her head with a smile. She loves her family, specially her father.
"Zeff taught me how to fight with my legs because a chef should never use their hands. He also taught me how to cook. I help out at the restaurant sometimes." He smiles at her.
We should spar sometime! I was mostly raises with my uncle and cousin who live in a dojo. So I can fight, that would be fun to do. Sparring with you would be exciting. But fair warning I use swords. She shows him her phone before he could ask her a question. He reads it then look at her excited expression. It look like she wanted to spar right now.
"Sorry, I don't fight woman. It's against my code." He smiles, all he gets in return is a glare. A familiar looking glare, it gave him the same feeling as it does when he teases Zoro, a boy in his class. Danger! Is what that glare warns him of.
Don't ever say something like that to me again! She shows Sanji her phone, glare still on her face.
"S-sorry." He gulps. He didn't think it would upset her this much. He doesn't know what to do. He's never told any of the girls he's gone out with this so none of them have ever known about his creed to never hurt a lady.
But wait. She said her cousin lives at a dojo, and her glare just now kind of reminded him of Zoro. Is she Zoro's cousin. It makes sense, he's sure Zoro does martial arts of some sort. Plus he knows Nami. If Nami has known Peach since middle school maybe that's because Zoro introduced them. He'll have to ask Zoro to make sure, maybe. Or maybe he should be nicer to Zoro, who knows what Zoro will tell Peach.
As Sanji thought their food and drinks came to their table and they ate in silence. At least now he knows what gets her mad. Eating seemed to lift her mood up, which lifted Sanji mood. He knows the power of a good meal. He's glad it works on Peach too.
After they ate they went to the movie theaters to watch a movie. Again he held her hand. He was nervous at first because of his blunder but she didn't seem to mind so he held it. It's a shock when she wanted to watch a murder mystery movie instead of romance. He asked her about it and she told him she doesn't like romance movies. Plus this movie is one that Nami and her sister saw and told her was good, along with the outfits as she got dressed. Not wanting to disappoint his date, or make her upset again he went with it.
Peach didn't seem to be filled with how she asked for a soda and popcorn. As they waited for the movie to start they ate the popcorn as they continued to talk. He learned that they are both athletic but smart. Even though they have interest they both aren't part of a school club. Sanji isn't apart of a club because of Luffy and Peach because of her friends. They have quiet a lot in common it was amazing.
The only thing they didn't agree on is treating gender. Sanji of course doesn't hurt woman no matter what. He'd rather die than hurt one. Zoro on the other hand doesn't care. There is no excuse to be treated fairly. It was interesting to Sanji, she's like no one he's ever met before. He found her strength, resilience, and determination very beautiful.
It was amazing that he didn't need to be too careful around her. She seem fine with a lot of things, the way he talked, acted, and even the way he would go and help others. She stood by him the whole time. She didn't flinch when he started cursing at an asshole bothering a girl. If anything she stuck her tongue out flipped him the middle finger as she helped said girl. When he was helping a poor skinny nerd get bullied by a guy she cheered him on as he beat the assholes. He talked and she listened. They cracked jokes and laughed. She understood his humor, and he hers.
If Zeff didn't call to say they needed an extra set of hands they might have stuck together for the whole evening. And the best part is she understood. Most girls, even his friends, seemed upset when he would tell them he had to leave to go help at the restaurant. His friends know how important it is to him so they don't say to much but their expression let out what they really think. He's gotten some girls who get angry at him for ending their date. But not Peach, she cheered him on telling him to work hard and don't slack off. He couldn't help himself, he kissed her cheek and told her he'd text her after. She blushed but nodded.
They went their separate way, both over the moon with happiness. Excited to see each other.
Zoro skipped down the street to her house. It was fun. More fun than she thought. Are dates always like that? She didn't know. She held a giant stuffed fox plushie in her arms that Sanji had kindly won her when they went to play at the arcade. It was so cute she wouldn't stop staring at it so he got it for her. She's never been treated like this it felt so nice, of course that's because she always hangs out either her friends or family, she's never been with someone who didn't know the truth.
Its nice to be seen as her. She walked up the steps to her door, as she reach for the door knob the door is swung open, Bonney, Perona and Nami standing there looking at her shocked. Zoro blinks at them. "What?" She asks. She's not late, she doesn't even have a curfew, and it is getting dark but she's home. She walks in moving past them, shoving her way in with the large fox plushie in her arms. Bonney closes the door behind Zoro, Nami and Perona following her to the living room.
"Where'd you get that?" Nami asks, very curious on what happened on this date. She thought it would go bad, they'd fight and she'd come home angry as hell. Then she could use this as material to blackmail Sanji at school.
"Oh, Sanji got it for me." Zoro answers with a smile, a very bright and happy smile.
"Sanji got that...!" Nami points to the stuffed plushie, "for you!" She shouts shocked. Does that mean the date actually went well? This isn't what she planned. She wanted to make Sanji's life hell, at least the rest of the school year. She always hated how he bothered Zoro at school for no reason but Zoro never got upset about it. Not really, especially after the fight and they both went their separate way.
"Yeah." Zoro nods with a smile, then her face fall. She lets the fox drop to the couch, she lifts her hands to hold her head. "Oh shit!" Zoro shouts. "Half way through I forgot that I was on a date with Sanji!" She yells at her siblings, Bonney is the most confused, Perona looked like this was entertaining for her. And it is. She knows about Sanji thanks to Nami always telling her. Zoro looks down at the fox, she wasn't supposed to have fun. This date was suppose to be boring and Sanji is suppose to forget about her but no, he kisses her cheek and tells her he'll text later. Zoro's face turns tomato red.
"Did you have fun?" Nami asks seriously. They- she -needed answers.
"Y-yeah." Zoro stutter with a groan. Falling to the couch next to the fox. She takes off her wedges and lets them fall to the floor. "I forgot it was Sanji I was with. He was so different than when we're at school."
"Do you like him?" Nami asks. Zoro blushes again, Nami saw that look before, she thought Zoro blushed because she remembered that she forgot who she is with. Now to learn Zoro had fun with Sanji... questions needed to be asked.
"Well..." Zoro looks away, Nami and her sister all gasp.
"You do!" Bonney points at her, obviously shocked. This might be Zoro's first love.
"He wasn't mean! And he was nice! And it was fun hanging out with him!" Zoro groans, falling to smash her face into the fox tummy. She let out a groan. What did she do? No this wasn't her fault it was Nami's. What will happen if she does fall in love with Sanji?
That can't happen at all cost!
It might be too late though. Zoro lets out another groan at her own thoughts. They all hear the ring of Zoro's phone. Set to sound like a sword slashing through the air when she gets messages. Nami rummages through Zoro's handbag. "Nami!" Zoro shouts blushing, trying to stop her because she knows who that is but so do the others. Perona and Bonney hold Zoro back.
"Oh, it's from Sanji." Nami says teasing her friend. Zoro's blush gets deeper. Nami looks at the message. "He's asking if you got home safely. Here, Zoro hold the fox close and smile. I'll send him a picture." Nami tells her. Zoro blush but does it anyway. Her heart now bounding away in her chest. Was it like this the whole time? Was it like this when she was with Sanji. Nami takes the picture and sends it to Sanji with a message.
I had fun, thanks for the fox, also got home safely. Sanji reads the message with a smile on his face. Then he gets a picture of Peach sitting with her legs crossed on a couch, in her lap is the large fox, she has her arms wrapped around it and her face buried in between it's ears. He could easily see her blushing. He smiles. He sends her a text back.
"Who ya texting?" ask an obnoxious voice. He puts his phone back into his apron pocket as he rolls his eyes.
"None of your business Luffy. Aren't you supposed to be working to pay off the damages you did?" Sanji asks frowning at said boy.
"Zeff got mad and kicked me for trying to eat the food." Luffy tells the blonde with a smile on his face. Sanji groans and rubs his eyes with the ball of his hands. He was having the most amazing date with Peach only to leave her to come to work for this. And now his minute of a break that he got is wasted.
"Come on before Zeff shouts at us both for slacking off." Sanji says dragging the monkey boy back in, closing the alley door and walking into the full kitchen. He sets Luffy in front of the dishes and starts doing them. Watching the boy so he doesn't cause more damage than he already has.
Nami and Zoro knew they fucked up.
For different reasons.
Nami for even agreeing to the date. Who knew that Sanji and Zoro would get along well when they aren't shouting at each other because Sanji didn't know it was Zoro he's talking to? And it keeps getting worse. She could care less about Sanji's feelings but it was Zoro she was worried about. As they continue to date? Sanji and Zoro are dating at this point right? They've already gone on more dates, and now it doesn't seem to be stopping. That's why she's worried. It really does seem like Zoro is falling in love with the blonde.
The dates are getting more frequent, and Zoro keeps coming home from those dates happy and in love. Bonney is happy for Zoro. As she should be, Zoro is finding love but Perona keeps giving her the worried looks cause she knows the truth. It's not going to end well. Not with summer around the corner leaving their schedules open, open for more dates which means they will spend more time together which means they will get to know each other which will lead to then liking each other more. What is Nami going to do? Sanji knowing the truth can't be an option anymore. She doesn't want to see Zoro hurt.
Zoro is feeling guilty. He doesn't want to keep lying to Sanji. He's so nice, he doesn't deserve this, deserve him. It's lying and it's wrong but he's fallen. He knows he has. Sanji is so fun to be around that Zoro started wondering what it would be like at school. As Zoro, instead of Peach (which is a name he's grown accustomed too, specially when Sanji calls him that). Or even just hanging out as Peach but talking to him, no typing on the phone to talk.
"What are you looking at Sanji?" Zoro jerks in his seat in the classroom as he hears Sanji being called. It takes all his willpower to not turn his head and look. He does know the voice. It's Usopp, one of his friends. Zoro continue to stare at the magazine on Robins desk, Nami sitting by him as they look at the clothes and accessories. He tunes them out as he pay attention to the conversation happening away from them. Robin sat behind Zoro, in the corner, one desk away from the window seats, in the back. Nami sat a couple seats in front. But Sanji sat in the middle near the wall separating the class and hallway. Luffy sat in front of him while Usopp sat behind.
"Just a picture I took of me and my girlfriend." Sanji smiles and Zoro could hear it in his voice. Nami nudges his elbow that rest on Robin's desk with her own. He looks at her with a smile. Robin look confused between the two. Nami bends forward, whispering everything into Robin's ear. They haven't told her. Zoro lets his head fall. He felt guilty and he knew exactly what picture Sanji is looking at. It's from one of their most recent dates. Nami helped Zoro with the wig, putting them in bun on either side her head. On that date Zoro wore a sleeveless purple dress. Of course Zoro wore heels, purple pumps this time. They had a cute bow. Zoro had been wanting to wear that outfit for a while now, along with matching earrings and bracelets. Sanji wanted a picture and Zoro was all to happy to say no. Of course Zoro has a copy to. "Her name is Peach and I can't stop thinking about her." The blonde says making Zoro bite his lip. He feels bad. Really, really bad.
"Right, you can't stop thinking about every girlfriend you have." Usopp says rolling his eyes.
"I think she might be my Kaya." Sanji tells Usopp. Now Zoro knows this one. Kaya being Usopp's girlfriend. His one and only. Usopp tells everyone and anyone that would listen about her. He's been paired with Usopp a couple times during class.
"Wow, that's the first time I've hear you say that about any girl." Usopp says, surprise laced his voice. Zoro's guilty only got worse than it already is.
"Are you okay Zoro?" Chopper asks Zoro who lay his head on the table. Chopper must have just come back from getting a sweet bread. He sits down in his seat next to Zoro, by the window.
"I'm fine." Zoro says, but his tone suggest otherwise. He does hear Robin laughing. Nami lets out her own chuckle but her face falls as she looks at Zoro. She only wanted to hurt Sanji not Zoro too.
Bonney smiles when she hears the front door open and close. She knew it had to be Zoro because Nami and Perona are out on their date. She raises her head when she doesn't hear Zoro shout that's she's home. It's silent. Curious she moves to go to the front door, taking a break in cooking to see Zoro standing in the front hallway. She didn't look good. Worried Bonney came to her. "What happened Zoro!" She asks. Zoro bites her lip, she looked like someone smacked her which she knows can't be the case because it's Zoro. Zoro still doesn't say anything but moves forward to hug Bonney. It shocks the pink haired girl, Zoro isn't much for skin contact or showing affection like this. What happened? Bonney hugs back, still worried. She felt worse when she felt her younger sister's body start shaking, then she hears Zoro crying. She pulls back to see Zoro crying. "What happened?" She ask wiping her younger siblings tears.
"I... I told Sanji the truth." Zoro cries more. Bonney let her go, Zoro hugging Bonney in a crushing hug. She can't believe Zoro told Sanji the truth. She really thought Zoro would try to hide it longer. Why the sudden change? But she didn't need to ask to know it didn't end well.
Bonney confort Zoro as best as she could. This is Zoro's first heartbreak. What does she do? No one prepared her for this.
Zoro had to tell Sanji the truth. Seeing and hearing him be so happy in class broke her with guilt. As much as she likes the blonde she knew she had to tell him the truth because of how much her feelings have grown. They've grown so close, and it started to feel like lying to Sanji. She couldn't continue like that anymore. How can Zoro enjoy their dates as she feels guilty.
She knew though, that when she told Sanji that it will be all over. She wasn't as prepared as she thought, it still hurts. But luckily for her she has some time to recover.
Nami and Perona smile, holding hands as they walk in the house. "We're home!" Perona shouts for them both. They look at each in question when they don't get an answers. They walk in and find Bonney pacing back and forth. She look worried and sad. "What's going on?" Perona asks.
Bonney looks at them relieved. So glad she has help. "Zoro told Sanji the truth." She tells them, getting straight to the point.
"She did what?" Nami asks, making sure she heard right.
"I'm guessing it didn't go well." Perona says sadly, she knows how much Zoro had taken a liking to Sanji. Everytime she came home from one of their dates she was so happy. Almost like she didn't care about anything which is shocking because Zoro always frowned and glare even when there was nothing to frown and glare about. Recently that hasn't been happening. She was so happy.
Bonney shakes her head. "Zoro's in her room crying. I have no idea what to do."
Perona and Nami make their way to Zoro's room. It didn't take long to get hear the sobbing. They take a peek into the room to see Zoro on her bed, not having changed from her clothes. She really is heart broken to not change as soon as she got home. Specially around this time. They want to leave her alone but know they can't.
They do feel sorry for Zoro. Sometimes Zoro is too good for this world. More innocent than he should be. Naive in some ways. But that's what they love about Zoro.
At School it went how Nami and Zoro suspected. The petty bullying from one Sanji. The blonde didn't spend a minute not glaring at Zoro, and Nami had to give Zoro some credit for not reacting to it because she knows it must hurt. She knows how true Zoro's feeling are towards the blonde. For him to not react at the glares and mean snide remarks proves Zoro is very much in control of his emotions. She knows he must meditate like hell.
It wasn't just snide remarks either, every time they got paired with each other Sanji made a point to try and humiliate Zoro who always just stood up and brushed it off. Nami was about to step in when she couldn't take it anymore but Zoro stopped her. "Let it go." He tells her, tone deep and menacing.
"But Zoro, he has no right to treat you like that just because he made the mistake when you dressed up." Nami growls at him. It's half his fault. Zoro just shakes it off.
"He needs to let it out. I should have told him the truth immediately. I'm as much to blame. Plus it's nothing compared to what he could have done." Zoro tells her, her frown disappear in replacing it with shock. Yeah, he's right. Sanji could have been an even bigger asshole than he already is by telling the others Zoro's secret. But he didn't so that's something but still, why is he being so mean to Zoro instead of ignoring him?
It's like Zoro said, he needed to get it out. But what pissed Sanji off more is hearing Zoro is letting him. He's let himself be a punching bag of sorts. Which makes Sanji even more mad when Zoro doesn't react the way he was hoping. His anger stopped when he was called into the teachers office. Nami frowning at him. She turned to tell the teacher something then walks away not sparing a second glance at him.
He got in trouble for bullying Zoro. Nami told on him. Not only was he told to stay for detention but they called Zeff too meaning he'll be in trouble at home too. Zeff hates bullying so he's in for a lecture and a beating when he gets home.
But he did stop. Kind of. The teachers can keep an eye on him during class and not pair them up anymore but outside of that it's free game. He glares at Zoro as he rest his head on his table, the green haired man taking a nap. The teacher sat in the corner reading, it was study time and not wanting to risk it a teacher sat to make sure he didn't do anything.
He doesn't know what he's angry about anymore, he just knows he's angry and right now he wants to take it out on Zoro but he also wants to talk to Zoro, but that also angers him. He shouldn't want to talk to Zoro. But he wants answers to questions he has. At the same he doesn't know if he wants to asks them. What if they are what he wants to hear? What if they aren't?
When he gets his answers what then? He doesn't know what to do.
Sanji sinks in his chair. A new day, a new reason to be angry. He can't wait for P.E to let some of his anger out. A hand slamming on his desk brings his attention to his front. He follows the uniform to the face. Nami stood over him glaring. "What the hell is wrong with you?" She asks with a glare. Sanji looks around to see it's a few students in class but not a lot. He's always getting here early.
"What?" Sanji asks confused. Now that he thought about it Nami set him and Zoro up. Did she know? Or did Zoro play her too?
"Leave Zoro alone you stupid bastard." She says, it all just came out of her mouth like the flow of a river. She's just so mad. She has been wanting to say something, making smack him around a little, but Zoro always stops her and since for some reason he's not here the same time as she is, which they always meet each other at the front gate to walk to class together, she came in to give the blonde a piece of her mind. "It's not Zoro's fault that anything of this happened. If you want some one to blame then blame me. I set it up because I wanted to leverage this over you. I didn't think you both would actually get along." Nami tells him, crossing her arms over her chest. Sanji stare shocked. So she did know. And she did it on purpose?
"Why? Leverage? For what?"
"Because even before this all happened you were still an asshole to Zoro for no reason. Make fun of his hair for no reason other than you can. It always pissed me off. I thought if this happened, which I thought only one date would happen. I could blackmail you into leaving Zoro the fuck alone. I care for him very much and I wanted the way you treated him to stop." Nami explains mad.
Sanji looks down. He wasn't angry anymore. So this was because of what he did himself. If he never antagonized Zoro would Nami have gone along with him? He went up to them and asked for their permission. He started it. Nami just went along with it for her plan. What about Zoro? What part did he play in this? "Zoro... knew?" Sanji wanted to know but didn't but it past his lips already.
"No he didn't." Nami answers instantly. Sanji eyes widen, stunned by the answer. Zoro didn't know? Really? Nami can practically read his mind. "Zoro didn't know about the real reason. I blackmailed him too, a little, into doing this. He didn't want to. The date was real though. Zoro never once lied to you about who he is. And I can say with full confidence that everything Zoro told you is the truth. Zoro can't and doesn't lie."
"How do you know?" Sanji asks to make sure, looking up at her.
"Zoro is bad at lying so he doesn't. Plus he would feel guilty. When he lies, or even tries to act the tip of his ears get red, and his nose twitches slightly. He felt guilty about lying to you so he told you the truth. You have no idea how sad that made him. You made him happy. He came from your dates really happy. Peach, is a side he doesn't show people often." Nami tells him, still looking down at him. "You anger is misplaced, Zoro is also a victim because of me." Nami leans forward. "Now fuck off because you already broke his heart." Nami whispers dangerously. It was a warning and he decided to follow. He nods. Nami lets out a breath, satisfied by his answer. She was so close to letting Perona at him.
Sanji stuck his head down. Nami just answered some of his questions. He really isn't angry anymore. Now just confused. What's he supposed to feel now?
They both hear the back door to the classroom opening, they hear slight gasps but that's about it. Nami looks up and her face falls. Curious Sanji turns around as she shouts "Zoro!" He didn't look good. He looks like someone mugged him. Which didn't make sense because he's never once seen Zoro get hurt. If he got in a fight and Zoro (as Peach) is there he would dodge those who even attempted to get to her? And now he doesn't know what to call Zoro.
Zoro walked in with a very big black eye. His lip is cut. His cheek is deep red, along with his eyes, also puffy from crying. Across the bridge of his nose is a bandage, not covering up how his nose looks broken. Sanji stared in complete silence, he didn't know how to react to this, especially when Zoro walked in a little wobbly and slow to his desk.
Nami left his desk, sprinting to stand by Zoro's side. "Zoro! What happened? Who did that to you?" She asks, he's one of the best fighters, no one can top him. Well, one person can. She takes his face in her hands, examining the damage.
"My dad." Is all Zoro says. Sanji's blood runs cold. His dad did that? Why? Zoro never mentioned his dad being abusive. If anything he is told that Zoro's father isn't around much. What happened?
"Your-!" Nami starts to shout but stops. She didn't want to blurt it out into the mostly empty classroom. The gossip with spread. "Come with me." She drags Zoro out of the room, she takes him to an area where no one would be walking around. It's still too early in the morning. She watches as Zoro takes a seat with great effort. There are more injuries underneath. When he finally sits on the floor against the wall he lets out a breath, like he was holding it in. "Zoro what happened? Why would your dad do that?" Nami asks, squatting in front of him.
Zoro frowns at her, it wasn't an angry frown but a hurt and broken one. "He found out." Zoro chokes out, on the brink of crying again. "Dad found out about my secret." Zoro says closing his eyes and taking deep breaths to calm himself.
Nami stands up, also taking deep breaths, she paces back and forth in front of him, hand going to her hair to grip onto the long strands. "How? We are always careful. You are always careful." Nami asks stopping to look down at him. Zoro opens his eyes to look up at Nami who stood over him.
"Perona and Bonney told me to get ready, they were taking me out to shop, saying I can buy any outfit I wanted as many as I wanted and that it would be on them. They were cheering me up, trying to since I've been moping around at home." Nami nods, yeah she knows. After Sanji he stopped going out as Peach. Instead he stayed home, in his room, on his bed under his covers and they tried but after a while they decided to let him be. He needed time. "I was changing when dad walked in. He got mad." Is all Zoro says. Nami just stared at Zoro. They've all known for a while now that Zoro's father wouldn't handle this well. He's old school like that.
"So he beat you?" Nami asks worried about Zoro going back home. She can't, what if this becomes a regular thing?
"We fought. I lost." Zoro smiles at Nami but she didn't smile back. This wasn't some spar.
"Zoro, I hope you're not trying to protect your father. We need to get you out. You can stay with me." She bends down to hold his face in her hands. Again he gives her a small smile.
"It's okay. Perona and Bonney saved me. They got me to uncles place. They told him what happened. He patched me up. They should be moving my things to his place now." Zoro answers.
"I'm so sorry Zoro." Nami hugs Zoro, not fully sure what she's saying sorry for. Sorry that this happened to him. Sorry for what happened with Sanji. Sorry that she's glad her and Perona's relationship is still a secret. Sorry about all of it. She starts crying. This is all so messed up. It felt like everything took a turn for the worst. She cries a little harder when she feels Zoro's arms wrap around her as he too starts crying.
It's the only thing they could do. Cry.
Sanji frowns. He watch as the two cry. While they are like this he walks away before he gets caught. He makes his way to his desk. As he sits he thinks about what Zoro had told Nami. So his father didn't know. And then his father beat him because of it. His blood runs cold thinking about how Zoro looked as he walked in. He shivers. His own brothers were assholes and sure it sucked that his father didn't stop them but not once did his own father do anything to him. Not like Zoro. Now he is feeling bad.
There is a lot more to Zoro than just Peach. And there's more to Peach than he thought.
Class went along well, their classmates didn't stop in staring at Zoro when they could. When Robin and Chopper saw Zoro they were as worried as Nami was. Of course they were told what happened. During one of the class breaks Chopper took Zoro to the infirmary.
Sanji felt really bad, Zoro looked broken. He looked like he couldn't move. Lucky for him Robin and Chopper helped him as much as they can. It got so bad that Zoro couldn't lift his head off his desk. Worried Chopper told the teacher he's taking Zoro to the infirmary. They didn't come back. Chopper came back after a class. He looked like he saw some sort of horror. Robin didn't ask. And during the changing class period Nami didn't ask to much. Just enough to know Zoro is going to be okay. She did say something about telling Zoro's sisters.
What's he supposed to do? What does he want to do?
Those question circled in his brain for weeks. Zoro slowly getting better. His face less battered. It was healing. Sanji saw Zoro from his seat in the class. Zoro seemed like himself to the others but Sanji knew how active and friendly Zoro could get. It also seemed like he is keeping his friends away. If they went to eat at the cafeteria he would stay at his desk. Sometimes he would obviously lie and say he's not hungry, they never pressed about it though, leaving him alone at his desk. Zoro would only just rest his head on his hand and stare out the window. Then he would take out his lunch and eat it slowly. At first he would eat slow because of his beating but now he just ate slow. He wanted to help Zoro but didn't know how. Or why?
Still doesn't. Sure that the blonde is the last person Zoro would want to see or talk to.
But now Sanji felt like something is wrong with him. He couldn't stop watching Zoro like some creap. His eyes somehow followed Zoro, watching as he rest his head on his desk, the way his mouth opens wide when he yawns, catching glimpses of his straight white teeth before he covers his mouth with his hand, the way he pays attention to the teacher, his tongue slightly poking out when he's concentrating, or how his laugh is the same, the way his eyes almost close and he shows the biggest grin next to Luffy when he's laughing or smiling. Really smiling, not that customer service smile.
Sanji doesn't know what's new and what's not. He doesn't know if Zoro always rest his head on his desk sometimes during class. He wouldn't think it, with his wounds healing he must have wanted to just sleep everything off. He's actually shocked the marimo would even want to come to school like that. When Zoro work hard he looks so focused, he's seen the same face on Peach many times before. Or the small dimples that form when Zoro/Peach grins.
Sanji can fully say, he's no longer mad. All those feelings he had: embarrassment of being played for a fool, of using "Peach" as masturbation material, or of showing off to his friends, are no longer there. The anger of being played, no longer there either. He even found himself missing Zoro or Peach. He's not sure who he should refer him as.
"Take that asshole!" Sanji yells kicking a random guys head into the dirty ground of the slightly dark alleyway. Sanji caughed, spitting some blood out from his busted lip. He holds a hand to his side where if he were to apply pressure would hurt, so he knows there's a bruise there.
"Gah!" He hears, quickly he turns over to see Usopp getting his ass handed to him. Usopp can be brave when it counts but face to face confrontation isn't his strong suit. He's better suited from afar with his slingshot.
"Usopp!" Sanji shouts making his way to his friend. Doesn't make it far when someone grabs the collar of his polo shirt from behind and pulls him back. He falls on his ass, quickly he turns his body for the impact of a hard shoe on his back. His ears could hear Usopp trying very hard to fight back but he knew it wasn't working. He fucked up. He knows. These guys remembered Usopp, Sanji from a fight long ago, a fight Luffy started. Sanji of course could take them, and he did but Usopp wasn't prepared. He got use to fighting with Zoro by his side so he forgot he needed to watch out for the long nosed man.
Then it stopped. Sanji wasn't sure if he became numb to the feeling or if they really did stop. Then his ears pick up on the sound of clacking. More specific heels clacking. "Who the hell-?" one of the guys asks. Sanji, curious on what lady would in their right mind come into an alley where a bunch a guys are fighting, peeks to see who it is. Even if he's hurt he will protect her no matter what. Sorry Usopp. "What are you staring at?" One of the guys demands an answer for. And Sanji sits up slowly in shock. There Zoro stood as Peach. The same blonde-reddish hair, the same figure but wearing a red and black lotita outfit, with a ribbon on the collar of the white blouse, frills line the hem of the short black skirt. Black thigh high socks decorated with a small bow on either side, and the red mary jane pumps. Zoro is here. Why is he- she?- here?
It's the middle of the day, on a weekend the alley way has more light than it would during the night. Zoro just stared at the guys, taking a look at Usopp and Sanji on the dirty floor. Man are they getting their asses beat. At least Sanji is, she doesn't know to much about Usopp being able to fight. She stops walking, one of the guys getting in the way. She looks a few inches up, thanks to the pumps she got more height to herself than her other shoes she has. Perona and Nami had wanted her to try different styles, she usually wears the cute girl outfits so today she tried the lolita. So far she liked, it wasn't any different than normal. Nami and Perona both worked on the wig for her. She has two small buns on either side of the her head held by a black and red hair tie with bow. The rest of her hair flowed.
She did not think this would happen, she was just out shopping with her sisters, they all wanted to get Nami and her sister their birthday gift even though it's not going to happen until a month or two. They just wanted to be prepared. Zoro has an idea of what she wants to get Nami but for now she just walked around, window shopping until she knew exactly what. She hasn't found anything and now she's here, in this horribly lit alley way as the person who she likes and rejected her is on floor beat as his friend isn't any better.
Zoro's eyes follow over the man's shoulder where she can see Sanji on his ass, some asshole has his leg pinned under his foot. She looks just in time to see the man moves his hand. Her face turns and her cheek stings a little. The asshole slapped her. Usopp gasps, as Sanji clenches his teeth as he glare at the guy. She looks back and she knows her eyes narrowed dangerously because of the way he stood a step back. "You stupid bitch! Pay attention when someone is talking to you!" He yells gathering his courage again when he remembers how small she really is and she's in heels.
He not only slapped her but called her a bitch, and the audacity he has to yell in her face. She's mad. She punches him in his throat, that's what he gets for yelling at her. Then grabs his face and slams the back of his head into the brick wall. He slides down. She glares at the three guys around Usopp, they let go of his arms, Usopp falling completely on his back. She walks forward turning her head towards the blonde, glare still on her face. They all just watch her, not fully able to believe this is all real. She did what to the largest guy in their group?
Zoro kicks the guy who is stepping on Sanji's leg in the gut hard. She's not holding back at all. As he clutched his stomach she kicks the back of his knees hard making him fall face first. She then steps forward a little to dig her heel into the back of this thigh. He screams in pain but Zoro doesn't care. When she feels like he's had enough, she retracts her foot. She steps around his body as he groan in pains. Again she lifts her foot the back of his head, and before he knew what's going on she slams his face into the floor hard.
The guy who was next to him comes out of the horror filled daze and moves forward to attack her with his fist. Not only was Zoro faster but she has technique. She dodges a sloppy forward punch, bends a little to lodge her elbow into the middle of his stomach, as he's leans forward she harshly knees him in the face, then gives an axe kick to the middle of his spine. She turns her attention to the last guy that surrounded Sanji. He's a little smarter than the other two, he steps back away from the blonde on the floor, raising his hands up in surrender, shaking his head and chanting "no" over and over again. But Zoro is past giving anyone mercy. Even in the pumps Zoro is fast. She gets in front of him fairly quickly. She grabs his head and forces it to meet her knee. Lucky for her her socks are black. The guy falls over with a broken nose, bleeding horribly, Zoro kicks him aside roughly, that will teach him to start a fight he can't finish. Zoro's attention turns to the three around Usopp. They have abandoned Usopp and turned their attention to her. From the corner of her eye she can see Sanji moving to sit up better, his movements are slow though meaning he's been hurt bad, making her more mad than before.
"You'll pay for that." One of the guys says taking out a pocket knife. Zoro only tilt her head to the side and grins at him, Sanji caught a glimpse of those dimples. Here he is trying to threaten her with a small knife while she's fought with real swords. Confidently she walks forward. He attacks first wanting to get the first hit but they all have no technique so it's an easy fight. She gets the knife out of the hands of the first guy, stabbing him in the middle of his hand, then punching him in the face. The second guy she cuts a little of his ear and his hair.
Scared shitlist he runs out the alleyway screaming, "you're crazy!" The last guy tries to get her from behind, but she grabs his hand and flips him over her head onto his back, with his wrist in her hand she uses all her strength to break it getting him to scream. He curls onto his side holding his wrist in pain. He look up to see Zoro pointing the knife blade down over his head. She lets it go, falling just in small centimeter away from his nose. Then she kicks him for good measure. She turns to Sanji. They will all be out for a while. Alive but in a lot of pain. Good too. That's what they get for hurting Sanji. Speaking of, Zoro walks to him. She pulls him to his feet, helps him walk to Usopp who she also helps get to his feet. Usopp only stare the whole time at Zoro.
Zoro helps them out of the alley and down the mostly empty street to a more busy street. She sits them down on a bench. Both Usopp and Sanji sigh in relief. Zoro rummages into her pockets of her skirt that Sanji didn't know were even there. Zoro takes out her phone and starts taking pictures of them, Sanji and Usopp too shocked to react. As she sends the pictures to Chopper asking what to get so she can help them, the two look at each other equally as confused. She puts her phone a little later back in her pocket. She pokes both their foreheads, getting their attention. She points to them both then to the bench they sat on. She does that twice before Sanji gets it.
"You want us to stay here?" He asks. Zoro nods. Then she points to herself then shows them one finger, her index finger. She does that three times before Sanji gets it. "You'll be back in a moment?" Again Zoro nods. She turns and leaves.
When she's gone Usopp speaks up. "Isn't that your girlfriend?" He wonder looking at his friend.
"Um..." Sanji clears his throat, "not anymore. We... broke up." He answers.
"But I thought she was your Kaya?" Usopp asks.
"It... it didn't work out." Sanji looks down at his lap.
"It doesn't seem that way to me. Who saves an ex-boyfriend if it didn't work out?" Usopp asks rhetorically. "Is that why you have been so down lately?" Usopp asks. Sanji nods. "I was worried it would be like that. I wanted us to come out and do something to cheer you up but... we both ended up being saved." Usopp sighs in defeat. "She looked really worried for you. Did you break up with her?"
"Yeah."
"That's shocking, usually you get dumped." Usopp thinks out loud earning a glare from the blonde. "But you are sad because of her, so you must like her so why did you break up?" Usopp asks curious about this, this didn't make any sense.
"What if it turns out your girlfriend was hiding a secret? A very big secret?" Sanji asks rubbing his hands together.
"Like what?" Usopp asks as an answer, looking at the blonde who has his attention on his hands.
"Like she wasn't fully who you thought she was."
"Is she a bad person? Do you still know her? I don't think it would matter to me, as long as Kaya shows me all of her sides I'd still love her. I mean, we make each other happy. We try not to keep secrets from each other, we are open with each other, I think that's all that matters." Usopp tells him, giving him a smile. Sanji turns to look at his friend, expression hurt.
"What if they were someone you met before and hid it from you?"
"What do you mean?" Usopp raises his eyebrow at the blonde.
"Like let's say you first knew Kaya as Kaya one then meet her again only she was someone else, Kaya two and she hid it from you?"
"Well as long as Kaya is being who she wants to be it doesn't matter to me. Was it on purpose?" Usopp asks.
"No, it wasn't." Sanji says fiddling with his hands.
It wasn't all on purpose and he knows because Nami confessed everything to him. He also knows Zoro wouldn't do something like that, from what he's seen. He cares very much about Chopper. He dotes on him like a mother most of the time. Of course he takes care of both Nami and Robin. Zoro hanging around them leaves the creeps to stare and stay away from them. Zoro glares at any unwanted person. Zoro is like their personal bodyguards.
"Maybe you should should talk to her. Just talk, see it from her eyes." Usopp says and Sanji couldn't help the frown that formed on his face. He's getting advice from Usopp. Never thought that would happen. It would be worse if he got it from Luffy but Usopp isn't bad. "She's back." Usopp whispers, eyes on Zoro walking back with a bag in hand.
She stops in front of them. She hands them both a water bottle, they take it, Usopp with shaking fingers, worried he'd be next if he didn't take it. She then hands them some pain medicine to take as as they do that she take out some ointment and bandages. She works on Usopp first. He's got it worse. It seemed like Zoro wasn't as gentle as she thought because Usopp kept complaining how much it hurt, she only rolled her eyes in response and kept working. Sanji laughed at his side, not able to figure if Zoro really is just that rough or Usopp is lying about it.
When Zoro is done she steps back and nods, admiring her work. It's not like Chopper's work but it'll do. She turns to Sanji and works on him. She can't do anything about the bruises on his body but she can help his face. Sanji is shocked by the gentleness of her fingers. She tried really hard not to hurt him, and he could tells how much she's concentrating by the way her tongue is sticking out and her eyes are narrow. It's the same face Zoro makes at school. Sanji blushes.
He held Zoro's hand, he kissed Zoro's cheek, he hugged Zoro. Which means Nami knows about all he's done, Zoro would have told her family and friends. Oh man.
Zoro steps back again to admire her work. She gives them both a nod and smiles. She hands them the bag. Sanji looks to see there are cooling pads for their bruises. She gives them a thumbs up and leaves with a smile.
"So what's her deal? Why doesn't she talk?"
"She's mute." Sanji answers eyes on Zoro's back as she walk away. Now that he thinks about it what does Zoro's voice sounds like? Zoro doesn't talk much in class. But when Zoro talks he ignores him so he's heard it but he forgot what it sounds like. He talks to his friends right? So as Peach does he not talk at all? He doesn't think that's the case. He wonder how it would be like to talk to Zoro as Peach.
Sanji looks down at his list then looks up. He's on shopping duty for the Baratie... with Luffy. The monkey boy can't do anything but break things or eat food. He let Luffy run off, best if he's not seen with the man. But if something does happen he's got both older brother's number in case.
"Oh god." Sanji hears, he turns his head to find Nami glaring at him. "Zoro was right, you did get your ass beat." Nami gives him a grin, she didn't seem to feel sorry for him.
"Zoro... told you?" Sanji asks, though it's not really a question, obviously she did.
"Like I said Zoro can't keep a secret or lie. When Zoro came back from shopping she told Perona who told me." Nami explains taking some spices from the shelf and putting it into the basket hanging from her arm.
"I figured." Sanji answers grabbing the spices they need from the shelf.
"You should be thankful, as Peach Zoro doesn't fight. Zoro avoids confrontation as Peach." Nami answers.
"Why?" Sanji asks shocked.
"Zoro's gotten the nickname the Demon or the Hunter. He never asked for it, just some people who gave him that nickname. And every time Zoro is out someone always comes and starts a fight. So as Peach Zoro doesn't have that problem. Zoro can just be." Nami explains.
"Nami!" Zoro calls from behind Sanji, a shiver runs down his spine. The blonde turn to see Zoro in pants and a shirt, no wig, no skirt, no heels. It's Zoro. "Here," Zoro sets some vegetables in the basket, "is that it? Can we go?" Zoro asks, sounding frantic and in a hurry.
"We still have some on the list." Nami says showing him said list. Zoro groans. "Why?" Nami asks after seeing his worried and scared face.
"Then I'll wait outside." Zoro says turning, he freezes at Sanji standing there. Eyes wide open, he looks away shyly, sprinting away from them both.
"Wait Zoro!" Nami shouts chasing Zoro a few steps out the aisle. She grits her teeth. "Damn. I need someone to help me." She says. She turns her head to look around and she freezes. "Oh shit." She says. Sanji turns around, frown on his face, that's not a word a lady should be using. "Zoro's father is here? Why?" Nami hides in the aisle. Curious Sanji takes a peek but he can't tell with as many people walking around as there are. "I'll see you I guess." Nami tells him going down the opposite way.
Sanji lets out a breath. He was nervous the whole time and he doesn't even know why. Sanji grabs the spices he needs from the list, turning to go exit the aisle and Zoro runs right by him. Sanji smiles. He forgot that Zoro is directionally challenged. But he does feel a little bad, Zoro must want to get out of here if his father is around.
Sanji pauses as he walks past the pasta aisle. He sees Zoro on the floor curled into a ball. He thinks about just walking, they have nothing to do with each other anymore. But Zoro stepped in and saved not just him but Usopp too. Sanji steps in front of Zoro, who flinches and starts shaking. Sanji bends down, squatting in front of the green hair. He never realized just how green his hair is. He also just realized how small Zoro actually is. Zoro always seemed to be so tall and bulky, standing equal to him but he's not. He's rather short. It's kind of cute.
"Marimo..." Zoro flinches again but he stopped shaking, Zoro slowly raises his head, "you're going in circles." Sanji tells him. Zoro's whole face gets red when their eyes connect, his eyes are the same shade of grey no matter what. Zoro turns away.
"I can't find the exit." Zoro mutters but Sanji hears it.
"Do you want to stick with me? It's better than running around." Sanji adds. Zoro thinks, still not looking at him. And Sanji notices that he's biting his lip, so that's his thinking face. He really is open, there are so many faces Peach does that are just Zoro being Zoro.
"Okay." Zoro gives up. Sanji smiles which makes Zoro's face turn more red.
Interesting.
Zoro kept quiet as he followed Sanji, which felt wrong. Zoro should be standing next to the blonde not following him around but Zoro didn't seem to be comfortable around him so he let it be as he bought what he needs from the list. Sanji turns to get the next thing, he gets down the aisle when he doesn't feel Zoro following him around. He turns to see Zoro standing there staring.
"Marimo, come on." Sanji says walking to him.
"Isn't that Luffy?" Zoro points to the straw hat wearing monkey boy. Sanji stares not shocked, he knew this would happen. There Luffy is causing trouble, eating all the samples, as the person working yells at him but Luffy doesn't care. Sanji quickly takes a picture, sending it to the raven haired boys brothers.
"Ignore the idiot. Let's go." Sanji says pulling Zoro's arm the opposite way.
"But isn't he your friend?" Zoro asks.
"Yes, but ignore him, he's always getting into trouble." Sanji answers. Zoro nods.
It goes quiet again. Until Zoro speaks up. "So what happened in the alley?" Zoro asks curious breaking the silence, leaning against the shelves.
"Luffy." Sanji answers.
"But he wasn't there." Zoro looks at him confused.
"No, a while ago Luffy started a fight with those guys. They saw me and Usopp hanging around so they attacked us."
"Why were you getting your ass beat? I've seen you fight." Zoro says, Sanji blushes this time.
"Usopp isn't good in a fight without his slingshot and I forgot that. I was trying to take care of him." Sanji answers not mentioning he was use to her being there with him. Zoro nods. That makes sense.
"What are you cooking?" Zoro asks looking at Sanji's basket.
"What?" Sanji asks shocked.
"You have random stuff in your basket." Zoro looks up at him then back down at the basket.
"Oh," Sanji chuckles, "I'm just buying some stuff the restaurant needs. Luffy is a horrible employee so he's with me but it's best he doesn't shop with me." Sanji explains. It's interesting that they can talk so... normally. Like what happened didn't happen.
"Do you cook for the restaurant? I know you help but do you cook?" Zoro asks.
"Yeah, but I've been put on watching Luffy duty for getting in trouble at school." Sanji pouts, he snaps his head to Zoro who laughs, his hand covering his mouth. Sanji just stared, it's another reminder that Zoro is Peach and Peach is Zoro.
"What?" Zoro asks, laugh stopping as he saw the blonde staring at him.
"No, it's just, shocking that you have some mannerisms that don't change weather you're dressed up or not."
"What do you mean?" Zoro ask, eye narrowing, body squaring up to Sanji.
"You bite your lips when you think, when you laugh you cover you mouth with your hand, but when you laugh really hard you hold your stomach, when you are concentrating you stick your tongue out, those are just some things I could think of on the top of my head." Sanji answers, looking back at Zoro who turns away blushing. "Zoro why do you dress up?" Sanji asks, Zoro looks at him then away.
"I've always liked girl clothes better than boys. It's more fun for me. But I know not everyone is okay with it." Zoro answers looking down at his shoes. Sanji now noticing what Zoro is wearing, a white muscle shirt, black pants and black converses. It's a little boring, compared to what he's seen Zoro wear as Peach.
"Did you ever lie to me?" Sanji asks. Zoro nods, that hurting Sanji, he was lied to, which means Nami lied about him not lying.
"I'm not mute, I do talk, even when dressing up and my name isn't Peach. I usually just go by Zoro." The green haired man answers. Sanji stares at Zoro. That's it? That's all that he's lied about. Sanji lets out his own laugh. This time Zoro stare at him, but more like he's gone crazy.
"I'm not laughing at you, it's just..." maybe this can work. He won't know if he doesn't try. It's obvious he fell for Zoro somewhat. "Maybe we can try again. Please?"
"Are you sure?" Zoro says turning to face the boxes on the shelves. He starts playing with them. "Even though you know... I'm not a girl." Zoro looks at him from the corner of his eyes.
"I know Zoro." He says his name, his real name, no nickname, no name calling. Zoro blushes. "I'm asking because I want to, this time for real. A second try for both of us."
Zoro looks away, no doubt biting his lips to think. "Okay. If you're willing to give me a second chance." Zoro answers.
"I am." Sanji answers with his charming smile, Zoro looks away with a nod but it's easier to see Zoro's ears turn pink like this, with no wig on and hair short.
They wait a week for their date. That was an interesting experience, for Sanji anyway.
The whole week he was excited for this date. And his eyes kept openly going to Zoro who sat with his friends in the corner. Zoro would be talking and smiling with the girls or Chopper. Sad that Zoro didn't spare a glance at him, but no one knew so of course he didn't act out of the ordinary. There were a couple times Zoro is left alone, sitting and looking at his phone or laying his head down on the desk, Sanji had wanted to go up and talk to him but he had to keep himself from doing that. It would be weird, and he's sure the whole class would explode. He was a little jealous of the girls, he would love to join them and talk to Zoro or sit next to him. He enjoyed their talk at the supermarket. It's like nothing changed. He could be himself. Show Zoro sides he can't the others. The blonde is sure the same can be said for Zoro.
Zoro made sure not to look at Sanji, which wasn't hard. Even before when they were dating Sanji didn't know Zoro is Peach so he didn't bother trying to look at Sanji. He was curious on what will change, he really hope it works but he's not going to let his hopes get to far. He doesn't want to get hurt again. One more chance and that's it.
Sanji happily walked down the street. He's been waiting for this day to come. His date with Zoro. It felt like the day would never come. He wore his best polo shirt, jeans that roll up at his ankles showing them off, ankle socks and his loafers. He wore his watch and a ring on his left thumb, index finger, and middle. He's going all out today.
It doesn't take long to find Zoro who shocking to him wore a different wig than what he's normally seen. It's a dark black straight wig, the same length as her other one. Along with that she wore a sleeveless white blouse that has frills down the side of the buttons. A purple bow, with a white roach in the middle, her skirt is also purple and high waisted. From the edge of her skirt Sanji can see a garter on her thigh. Her heals are purple closed toe ankle wrap wedges. Zoro look down at her phone, she has a small thin purple watch on one wrist and silver bracelets on the other.
Sanji is shocked only because he somewhat thought Zoro wouldn't dress up. But he does remember Zoro saying he likes girl outfits more. He can see why. Zoro looks happier like that.
"Zoro." He calls, her head turning towards him. Zoro still looks beautiful. The wig and clothes give off a rich smart girl vibe. Zoro waves, shy and gives him a small smile. "You are here early." he points out.
"That's because I helped her." Nami steps up. Zoro and Sanji turn to her. She gave the blonde a glare. Sanji blinks. Oh, she must think this is pay back. Well, she's wrong but telling her isn't going to be the only way to convince her.
Sanji looks at Zoro with a smile. "Shall we go?" Sanji wonders, Zoro nods. As Zoro steps forward Sanji wonder if Zoro will be quiet the whole time. He hopes not, he would like to hear Zoro speak.
"Where are we going?" Nami asks chipper. Standing in between them.
"A diner to eat first." Sanji smiles. Zoro let's out a laugh. Nami and Sanji looking at her. Zoro types on her phone, then shows Sanji.
You must like to eat. We are always going to a place to eat. She types. It's a small text but he kept his eyes on the screen because he notice it's on the conversation to him, and the profile picture she set for him is the one they took with each other. The same one he showed all his friends. The one he had as his wallpaper. He smiles at her.
"I do like to eat, but it's interesting to eat other restaurants food and taste how they cook it." Sanji explains, Zoro nods as she deletes what she wrote. This means Zoro isn't going to talk to him. Nami frowned at being ignored.
He takes them to a small family diner, it wasn't full so they got seats easy enough. Once sat down they all take a moment to look over the menu. Zoro moves to whisper her order into Nami's ear. The orange haired girl giving a smug look to the blonde. Sanji smiles as he shakes his head. Nami stops her smug grin. The blonde is not mad? Sanji looks down a his menu, it would seem Nami doesn't like, really doesn't like him.
"Here Zoro, some money. Try to win a plushie from the crane machine." Nami says giving Zoro some bills. She then points the machine near the front entrance. Zoro stares at Nami curious to what she's planning but she'll never know so Zoro nods. She stands up and walks to said machine. Seeing Zoro occupied Nami turns to Sanji staring at Zoro then turning his gaze to her. It would seem there is a permanent frown on her face today. "Spill it. What are you planning?" she demands.
"Okay, after this I plan to take Zoro to the aquarium, then the arcade after. Well depends when we leave the aquarium if it's late maybe we'll have dinner, if not then arcade." Sanji tells her. Nami stares stunned then frowns.
"Stop playing your damn games. If you plan on hurting Zoro again I won't have it. Zoro cried for days after you dumped her. She wasn't happy for weeks so if this is some game to get revenge then stop right here and right now. Don't give her false hope." Nami tells him. Sanji blinks. He didn't know Zoro cried after he dumped her but he should have known, Zoro likes him. That should have been obvious.
He gives Nami a steady look. "I'm not playing."
"So what, all those times you were being an asshole you were what? Showing your affection? Can you look me in the eye, not lie, and tell me that you truly like Zoro even though you know the truth? Does that not bother you?"
"It never really bothered me that Zoro liked crossdressing it's just that she didn't tell me the truth but after thinking about it I realized that Zoro is Zoro no matter what. And the small things I found cute about Peach I think the same for Zoro." Nami sits back as she watch Sanji watch Zoro lovingly. That actually makes her happy to hear.
"Alright I'll let you have a chance. Only because you weren't that much of an asshole and told everyone at school." Nami tells the blonde.
Sanji gives her a smile but then it falls. "I wished Zoro talked to me. I don't mind it."
"Zoro's just scared of you rejecting her again. It'll happen when she's more comfortable around you again. Honestly Zoro doesn't handle rejection well."
"Really?"
"Zoro's never been rejected in anything. Athletics, she's got that. Smart, she's not the smartest but she's not dumb. Her ability to fight, she's not the strongest but she tries till her last breath. And obviously in looks. As Peach she's got that even as Zoro. In relationships she's new to that and crossdressing isn't a normal thing to see around here." Nami explains. Sanji wants to ask a little more about Zoro cross dressing, how it started? Who got him into it? He would also like to know more about Zoro's family situation, but that's not his place. Sanji smiles at Zoro who smile, showing him first the small orange cream corgi she got from the machine.
Zoro sits down next to Nami again handing the dog plush to her. Nami takes it then looks at Zoro.
"For me?" She asks, Zoro nods. With a sly smile she asks, "this isn't my birthday gift, is it?" Zoro shakes her head. Nami laugh. "Thanks." Zoro gives her friend a smile.
"You know Sanji you don't have to walk us home." Nami smiles as she watch Zoro happily walk with her arms full. She's got a large great white shark plush and a smaller tiger shark plush along with a duck. She has more things in her backpack but these didn't fit. Sanji got her the great white shark while she got the tiger shark and duck for herself. Even got Sanji a matching duck. The orange haired girl looks over at Sanji who smile at Zoro, her corgi still in hand.
"Well, I'm actually walking Zoro home, not you." He says. The face Zoro made when he gave that to her made his day, it made his fucking life. He's never seen someone's eyes widen that large in shock or awe. Zoro looked so close to crying but instead she hugged Sanji tight, saw first hand how strong she is, she could have snapped his spine in half, she must not have known it because she kissed his cheek. Nami was shocked the whole time. Sanji stood there in a daze cupping his cheek. She kissed him. He was over the moon.
"Fair enough." Nami smiles as Sanji carefully held onto the duck Zoro gave him. "I'm just staying for dinner then my sister will pick me up. I only came as the third wheel to make sure you were serious." Nami explains.
Sanji stare as they walk through the small gate of a large compound. Upon further inspection Sanji pieces together that this is a dojo. The one her uncles owns. Zoro leads them all the way to the front door. Nami pushes him in with a grin.
"We are back!" Nami shouts as she casually starts taking her shoes off. She seems very familiar with being here. Sanji fallows seeing Zoro move her things so nothing falls, she moves to reach her heels only to pause.
"Zoro?" Sanji pauses. "What's wrong?" he asks. Zoro looks at Nami scared as she points to a pair of shoes neatly placed. Sanji looks over to see the black leather formal shoes, the inside lined a maroon. They look expensive as hell.
"Zoro, you're back." says an older mans voice, though he didn't sound happy about their return. Behind the man is another man with dark black hair slicked back and bright golden hawk like eyes. He stare at Zoro shock.
"Roro- Zoro?" he calls Zoro.
In response Zoro drops what's in her hands. Turning around quickly and high tailing it out of there. Nami stare shock at the man then turned to see Zoro disappear. The look she gave sanji screamed go after her so he did.
"Zoro!" The blonde shouts as he runs after her.
He doesn't take a break until he finds her. His lungs burning but he finds her sitting on a bench. He had to say he's impressed she can run as fast as she did in heels. Though it shouldn't be shocking, he saw her fight in pumps. He goes to her, can hear her breathing and see her trembling
"Zoro are you okay?" He asks, he reaches a hand towards her but stops when she shakes her head. She takes a deep breath as she rubs her face with her hands. She ran away, she never runs away. "I'm here, so don't worry. I'll stay until you feel better." Sanji says sitting next to her. She looks at him and Sanji can see the terror on her face. He rubs her back to comfort her. She lets out a deep breath.
"I've never been afraid of someone, let alone my dad." Zoro says with a shaky breath
"That was your dad!?" he shouts shock. The man didn't look it but who is he to judge?
"Yeah, I don't want to see him." Zoro says shaking again. Sanji pulls her into a hug.
"It's alright to be afraid of him and it's okay to not want to see him too. I'll help with anything." Sanji rubs her back underneath her backpack. Zoro hugs him back.
Then they pull apart. Zoro looks up at the blonde, "thanks," she says with a smile. Sanji leans in to kiss her but stops himself, changing direction he kisses her forehead.
"It's what I signed up for when I told you I wanted to try this again. I meant it." Sanji tells her grabbing her hand to hold.
"Can we stay like this? I don't want to go back." Zoro asks holding firmly onto his hand. Sanji squeezes her hand back.
"As long as you want." Sanji answers.
They stay until the Sun starts to set. They don't know how long that is but it's long enough for Nami to find them. She smiles at them. She doesn't want to bother them but it's not like he's being forced to go home right now. And they'll be able to see each other tomorrow. They are dating again.
"Zoro, your dads gone." Nami informs them. Zoro nods. Getting up she looks at Sanji, hands still connected.
"Would you like to stay with us?" Zoro asks. Sanji smiles, standing up himself, he looks down at her, he shakes head.
"I'll walk you home but I have to go home before Zeff starts calling me." he tells them.
"Okay." Zoro says.
For the second time that day he walk both ladies to the dojo. This time holding Zoro's hand the whole time.
When they get to the door Nami goes in first.
"Goodnight. I'll text you later." Sanji says bending over to give a kiss on Zoro's cheek. Zoro's whole face turns red.
"G-goodith." Zoro says back but bites her tongue. She stares at Sanji in horror. He smiles and let's out a chuckle.
"I'll text you." Sanji says again, he waves good bye then leaves. Zoro turns, walking in to see both Nami and her uncle standing there waiting, both have shit eating grin on their face. Zoro gets red.
"How cute." Nami teases. Zoro ignores her and undoes her shoes.
"As long as you are happy." Her uncle says. Zoro stands straight, out of her heels. She smiles at her uncle.
"I am"
Her peach love.
