Danny had no idea where this odd handheld come from. He was flying around during his patrol when something hit his head. He did see a bag fall with it and caught it. He was confused to see big gold rings in it before heading home. He looks over, thinking about taking to Tucker later.

"Sa..."

Danny jumps up as he heard something. His ghost sense didn't go off, so who spoke.

"Pow...I ne...pow..."

Danny turns to the handheld and saw a small glow coming from it.

"Hello?" Danny asked it.

"Us...ring...fading..."

"Ring?" Danny asked, looking at the bag.

He pulls a ring up and opens the handheld. He notices the top had a small hook for the ring and set it on top. Suddenly, the handheld lights up a bit and Danny could see someone appearing on the screen.

"It restores...power...but I'm too...to repair myself."

Danny could hear the sound of a girl's voice coming from it, and it sounded like she was dying. Danny looks around before seeing his laptop. He runs over to it and finds a cord to connect it.

"Hey, can you hear me? I'm connecting you to my laptop." He said.

Danny saw the handheld dim and for a second was worried that the voice had died. However, his laptop screen grew bright before something appear on his screen. She didn't look human. Well, mostly. She was standing on two feet and had fingers. The ends of her long triangular ears were black, and her face features cheek tufts on her muzzle, and a stripe along the bridge of her black nose as well as one under each of her green eyes. She has medium-long black hair with splits at the ends and a tail. For attire, she wore a purple shoulderless, sleeveless dress with black and white split tails, decorated with white trim, and a small golden brooch with a purple gem. She also wears black pants, black and white gloves with purple cuffs, and black shoes that have white cuffs with a small golden brooch with a purple gem, white toes, and black soles.

Danny notices she look very much like a humanoid lynx. And she looked really pretty.

"Huh? Where am I?" She said.

"Are you okay?" Danny asked.

The Lynx girl looks at him, surprised.

"Who are you? And where are my friends?" She asked.

Danny flinched back. From the way she acts, she was demanding answers. He better calm her down.

"I don't know about your friends, but my name is Daniel Fenton. But everyone calls me Danny. You fell from the sky and landed on my head. Your handheld was really busted. I was planning on taking you to my friend to fix you up." Danny said, trying to clear the air.

"Busted?" The Lynx Girl asked, confused.

Danny carefully grabs the handheld and pulls it over. The Lynx girl saw it and sighs.

"It on worst shape than I thought." She said before turning to Danny.

"You save me?" She asked.

"Well, I did hear your voice. It was hard to make out, but you mention a ring and I put one on." Danny said, setting it down.

The Lynx Girl started to think to herself before nodding.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for the way I acted before. My name is Nicole. Nicole the Holo-Lynx." She said, bowing a bit.

"Nice to meet you, Nicole," Danny said before getting a confused look.

"Wait, what's a Holo-lynx?" He asked.

Nicole blinks. He doesn't know what she is?

"I'm a highly advanced A.I. I've taken a form as a mobian Lynx to fit in with my friends." She said.

"What's a Mobian?" Danny asked.

Now Nicole was really confused. He hasn't heard of a mobian? She then realizes that she had full access to the world internet and started to look through everything thing.

"Um, Nicole?" Danny asked, confused.

"Hmm, there are wars I never heard of. But none of the wars I know are here. Could this mean?" Nicole said, talking to herself.

"Nicole?" Danny tried again, but she seems to turn away, still thinking.

"As crazy as it sounds, I'm not on Mobus anymore. This world is different but yet the same." She said.

"Nicole!"

She snaps out of her thoughts and turns to Danny, who was looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"What are you talking about. What wars? And what is a "Mobus"?" He asked.

"Forgive me, let me explain." She said and started to tell Danny everything.

Danny listen to Nicole's story and was very surprised. Nicole seems to come from a different world where Mobians and Humans live together. Mobians were evolved animals with human traits in them. Nicole told him about her friends and how there were fighting against a Mad Man named Dr. Ivo Robotnik, but everyone called him "Eggman". Danny at to laugh at that.

Nicole then told Danny about her friends and he was both impressed and shocked at what he heard. Turns out Nicole's closest friend was a princess and she had formed a group known as the Freedom Fighters. She went on to mention Sonic, Tails, Bunnie, Amy, and some of the others. Each of her friends sounds really awesome.

"Wow, that's amazing, Nicole! Sounds like you have lots of adventures with your friends." Danny said, smiling.

"T-Thank you. But I'm still confused on how I come to be here. The last thing I remember was fighting Phage before everything started to fade into black." Nicole said.

Danny wasn't sure either. However, he knew he had to help her.

"Well, if you already looked in my world, then you should know who my parents are, and what they have done," Danny said.

"Yes, a portal to another world, the Ghost Zone. However, it's different from the Zones in my world. I don't think I can use it to get home." Nicole said.

Danny notices how sad she looked. He knew Nicole was brought here by some force, taking her away from her friends.

"Nicole, I promise to help you get home. I don't know how, but I will." Danny said.

Nicole made a small smile. Danny smiles back before looking at the time.

"Whoa, it's late. I need to get ready for bed." He said.

"What for?" Nicole asked.

"I have school tomorrow. I was planning on telling my friends about your handheld." Danny said.

Nicole nods. She heard of schools. She did look up the school in this town.

"Very well, I will enter sleep mood to give you privacy." She said.

"Thanks. Um, how long will that ring last?" Danny asked.

"For a few hours. I will work on repairing it myself in the meantime. Give your friend less to work with." She said.

"Trust me, Tucker is a techno-wizard when it comes to machines. He'll figure out how to repair your handheld." Danny said, standing up.

"If you say so. Until then, good night, Danny." Nicole said before turning the laptop screen off.

Danny blinks. Did this really just happen? Well, no matter, he really needs to go to bed. As Danny got ready, he turns to his laptop before whispering to himself.

"I promise to help you get home, Nicole. And a Fenton never breaks his promise." He said before getting in bed.

Morning, Casper High,

Danny awoke in the morning and was greeted by Nicole. He saw that her handheld was mostly repaired, but it run out of power. Luckily, she was able to stay in Danny's laptop as it charged. Now she was back in the handheld as Danny had it in his pocket. He knew Tucker would freak when he found out about Nicole. He did tell her about his friends on the trip there.

"Hey, Dude!"

Danny looks up to see his best friends standing by their lockers.

"Hey, guys," Danny said, walking up to them.

"So, what's up, Danny? You said you have something to tell us?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, but you won't believe this," Danny said, pulling out the handheld.

Nicole did give him a rundown on how it works and Danny was able to turn it on.

"I found this yesterday and I was planning on bringing it to Tucker to see if he could fix it. But I found something about it last night." He said before the screen turned on.

"Guys, meet Nicole." He said as Nicole appear from the screen.

"Greetings, I'm Nicole. It's nice to meet you." She said.

"Is that an A.I.?" Tucker asked.

"Highly advanced A.I.," Danny said, remembering what she told last night.

"Danny told me that you could repair my handheld. I fix most of it, so you wouldn't have too much trouble." Nicole said.

"Dude!" Tucker said.

"A lynx, huh? And I like the mixer of purple and white." Sam said, looking at her.

"Thank you," Nicole said, looking a bit shy.

"Okay, you two, give her some room," Danny said, pulling the handheld back.

Tucker wanted to snatch it from Danny but was able to stop himself.

"I'll see what I can do after school. And just a heads up, Danny. Dash is on the prowl for you again." He said.

"Great." Danny groans.

"Who's Dash?" Nicole asked.

"A bully. He and a group of students form a group known as the A-Listers. People that act like they run the school. Sadly, the teachers are on their side." Danny said.

Nicole raised an eyebrow. From what she read, bullying was not allowed in schools. But this school lets them get away with it?

"Nicole?" Danny asked, snapping her from her thoughts.

"I'm fine. For now, I would like you to hold on to my handheld." She said.

Tucker pouted as Danny nods.

"Sure. I'll talk to you after school." He said, shutting it down for now.

"Dude, no fair," Tucker said.

"I warned her that you like to take things apart to get a good look inside them. From what Nicole told me, her handheld is far more advanced than what we have and she doesn't want anyone looking inside her." Danny said, trying not to think about the words he just said.

"Come on, we need to get to homeroom," Sam said.

Later,

Nicole stood in her handheld, looking into Casper High. She could see that there was no mention of the bullying in their records, meaning they either sweep it under the rug, or they're turning a blind eye. Nicole learn a lot from her friends ever since she was just a normal A.I. All the times she had hacked both Robotnik's and Eggman computers had shown her that there was something hidden in the files. However, the security was not as great as Eggman's and she could easily hack in.

She opens the time windows and saw all the A-Listers bullying some of the students. She even spotted a few teachers witnessing them and mostly ignoring them. She shook her head. They seem to care more about their reputation than about the well fair of their students. However, she didn't want to act out just yet. She needs more proof before she could help Danny.

'Danny...'

The human was different than the ones she did know. From just a short talk last night, he came off as a friendly and kind person, and there was his promise. He was going to help her find a way home. But how could he? She had no idea how she got here. She was going to have to look into it in her spare time. She looks at the windows again and started to look more into Casper High.

Lunchtime,

Danny sat with his friends, holding a tray of food, that didn't look very eatable. Luckily, his mom decides to give him a small pack lunch, saying she had a feeling that the school lunches were not going to be very tasty today. She was right.

"So, how's she doing?" Tucker asked.

"Tucker, I'm not going to hand her over until after school. And you're repairing her, not taking her apart." Danny told him.

"Tucker, give it a rest! Yeah, I'm surprised she's an A.I., but she does sound like a person." Sam said.

Tucker pouts again, and Danny sighs. Nicole has been quiet during his classes. He guessed that she was still looking things up. He might have been the same way if he was in her shoes.

"FENTON!"

Danny groans. He was able to avoid Dash most of his classes, but now he caught up with him.

"What do you want now, Dash?" Danny asked.

Dash just steps up to him and pushes his face in his food.

"Now I feel better!" Dash said.

"From what?" Tucker asked.

"None of your business, Foley!" Dash said and walked away.

Danny groans and stood up. He went to the bathroom and washed his face off. He was really tired of Dash picking on him. And, lately, Dash had been picking on him for no reason. It was getting annoying!

"Danny."

He blinks before remembering he still had Nicole's handheld on him. After checking to make sure he was alone, he pulled it out and saw Nicole appear.

"Are you okay?" She asked, worried.

"Yeah, nothing I'm used to," Danny said, sighing.

"Danny, from what I have read, the A-Listers never existed before this. In the past, this school was very much like the others schools. However, I learn that the school is in money problems, and the teachers are being paid to ignore the A-Listers misdeeds." She said.

"What? How did you find that?" Danny asked, shocked.

"I hacked into the school network. Nothing compares to Eggman's, but with the teachers being paid to look the other way, they don't see how much damage they are doing to the school." She said.

Danny sighs. The old "We'll pay you if you look the other way" trick. Danny's seen it in many movies.

"Sam always thought someone was paying the teachers to look the other way. She's actually glad her parents don't do that." He said.

"I do plan on exposing them, but I'm looking into more evidence before I try anything." She said.

"What? You'll do that?" Danny asked, shocked.

"You promise me that you'll help me find a way home. So, I thought I do something to make up for it when you do." Nicole said, smiling.

"But, what if you were found out? I'm able to keep you hidden from everyone so far, but..." Danny started.

"I'm a Highly Advanced A.I. I can cover my tracks." Nicole told him.

Danny sighs. From the short time he has known her, Nicole does have a stubborn streak to her. He guessed she pick it up from one of her friends. Before Danny could speak more on the matter, his ghost sense appear.

"What was that?" Nicole asked.

"Oh no," Danny whispers.

Another new story for 2022? Well, to be honest, it's been a long time since I last did a Sonic Fanfiction. My first Danny Phantom/Sonic crossover was Danny "Phantom" Hedgehog. Where Danny was sent to SATAM world and was turned into a ghost hedgehog. I don't think I'll be going back to that. As you can see, Nicole, one of my favorite characters, was transported into Danny's world and they seem to get along well. I'm sorry if the beginning was too fast, but I did do half of this last night. And I am aware that the Archie Comic's are no longer doing the Sonic Comics. Last I saw, they were following Sonic Unleashed before the comics came to an end. And I know IDW Publishing are doing them now, but they aren't continuing where Archie Comics left off. But it looks, from the few issues I saw, to be taking place after Sonic Forces.

Anyways, in the next chapter, Nicole learns about Danny's ghosts powers and how the town views him. And the canceling of the Archies Sonic Comics has nothing to do with Nicole appearing in Danny's world. I just wanted to get that out of the way now.
