Hey guys I've been wanting to do this new retelling for a while but somethings are just unavoidable. But here it is and I don't own nothing.
"Hello, there!" Said a voice in a dark room whitch is a large laboratory with equipment, but soon it lit up reviling and old man with grey hair and black eye brows. He wear a lab coat and a purple shirt under it, he also wear a brown pants. "Glade to meet you. Welcome to the world of Pokémon! My name is Samuel Oak, People affectionately refer to me as the Pokémon Professor. This world is inhabited far and wide by creatures called Pokémon we are in the Kanto Region where some great peopleand great Pokémon live in. For same people, Pokémon are pets. Other's used them for battling, as for myself I study Pokémon as a profession."
He then turn to a video of himself when he was young man and as a retired Pokémon champion of the Kanto region he was battling a young woman with blonde hair and and a purple dress. They both have their Pokémon on the field The younger Oak had a light purple rhino/rabbit looking Pokémon with a spikes on it's back and a sharped horn on it's head it was a Nidorino a poison type while the woman's has a dark purple yet creepy looking Pokémon with red eyes and a mischievous smile on it's face is was a Gengar a ghost and poison type.
"Thanks to the effects of foresight" Said Oak in the video. "You're Gengar is now going to get hit with some normal and fighting type moves Nidorino use Horn Attack!"
"Nido!" The Poison pin Pokémon then charged at the Shadow Pokémon.
"Hmm," said the woman. "True, but which one? Gengar used Double Team!"
"Gar!" Them the ghost type made duplicates of itself and dodge the attack.
"Now used Shadow Ball!" Shouted The woman
"Gengar! Use Shadow Ball on Nidorino!" The shadow Pokémon then created a ball of dark purple energy and launched it at its opponent.
"Nido!" The poison pin Pokémon then fell to the ground in defeat.
The referee the said "Nidorino is unable to battle Gengar wins!"
Oak then return his Pokémon back in his pokeball which was indeed a ball the bottom was white while the top was red and in between was a black line with a smaller circle in the middle.
"Nidorino return!" Oak said as his Pokémon turn into red energy going into the pokeball, Oak then pulled out another Pokeball.
"This battle is not over yet go Onix!" Said Oak then threw the pokeball and out from it white energy and appearing from it was a giant rock snake looking Pokemon with a stalagmite on is head, it is a rock and ground type and it's know as a rock snake Pokémon.
"Onix uses head smash!" Oak ordered
"OOONNN!" Roared the Rock type as it charged at Gengar hitting it and setting it back but it was knocked out.
The video then ended and old Oak then turn to the viewer and said.
"The video I've showed you was the first champion of the Kanto league, and soon it's shall be you're turn to have you journey, and who know maybe you'll be the next champion in Kanto. But in order to to began you're quest you must have a Pokémon and these are you're choses for you're starter Pokémon.
He said as he pulled out three Pokeballs and then toss then up and out came from them three Pokémon the first was a Grass/Poison type and the seed Pokémon Bulbasaur he was a small green dinosaur looking creature and a bulb on it's back. Second was a fire type and the Lizard Pokémon Charmander it was a orange lizard creature with a fire lit on the tip of it's tail and a yellow under belly, and the water type and tiny turtle Pokémon Squirtle it looks like a blue turtle with a brown top shell and tan bottom and a cur tail.
"These are Bulbasaur the grass type Charmander the fire type, and Squirtle the water type." Said Professor Oak "When you have reach the age of ten you can have one of these Pokémon and began you're journey to become the best like no one ever was."
Pallet town
We see Professor Oak talking to young campers and telling them about Pokémon and their habitats. Thee of them was listing with great interest, they were five years old and were two boys and one girl. One of the boys had black hair a brown radish eyes and wear yellow shorts, the other boy wear a black shirt and green pants and the girl wear a pink summer dress and a straw hat. Their names are Ash "Red" Ketchum Gary "Blue" Oak, and Serena "Green" Gabena and each of them have big dreams that involves Pokémon.
Ash wants to be the Kanto League Champion like his father Reed "Fire Red" Ketchum and his brother Lance Ketchum the Dragon master. Gary wants to be the strongest trainer in the world, and Serena (Who was from another Region but moved to Kanto) wants to show case the beauty of Pokémon in some way.
"One day I'm going to the Kanto League Champ like my dad." Said Ash
"Yeah right Ashy boy." Replied Gary "If anyone is going to be the next champ it's me."
The two boys glared at reach other, while they were doing it Serena just sighed and said to herself "Their at it again."
Gary is Professor Oak's grandson and son of retired Pokémon trainer now inventor and researcher Bill "Blue Ocean" Oak. He and Ash has been rivals since they were babies.
Ash narrated. "For a very long time we lived right next to each other and we competed on everything. Test results height, speed, who knows more names of Pokémon and who is better at Pokémon battle. Gary is an annoying jerk who always looked down on me and provoked me."
Gary narrated. "Ash is dumb simple and annoying."
Ash narrated "But his skills in Pokémon regarding Pokémon was definitely amazing. In both knowledge about Pokémon battles. Could never win against him. Even when I thought that I set my foot on even ground with him, he was always one step a head of me."
Gary narrated "No matter how many times Ash lost against me, He never gave up."
Ash narrated "His the grandson of that Professor Oak he was born to be a genius." That was what everyone around me said and sometimes it caused me to forget what I really am."
Gary narrated. "Ash is the son of champion Fire Red and younger brother to Lance the leader of the elite 4 and Dragon master." That what everyone keeps on saying but just because his father and brother are great trainers doesn't mean that he is...But Ash does understand what I truly am."
Ash narrated "I want to win..."
Gary narrated "I don't want to lose..."
Both narrated "Against him!"
Later at the season of fall
They were fighting over an old broken pokeball with their fishing rods.
"Give me that Pokeball Ketchum!" Gary "Shouted I'm going to need it in order for my journey to greatness!"
"In you're Dreams Oak!" Ash barked back. "If anyone going to get this pokeball it's me!"
But then the ball broke into two and both boys fell to the ground.
"Well that's great!" Ash said "Now both of us only got half."
"And it's worst for me it's a draw!" Said Gary "Drawing against you that's unacceptable it's almost as bad as losing to you. One day we will settle this...One day."
"Yeah we will." Replied Ash
Then one day in winter and it was snowing
There was a Christmas party at Oak's lab and everyone was having a good time.
"Merry Christmas son." Said Bill who gave his son Gary a Christmas gift box then as soon as he open it he saw it had a Pokeball.
"Ah cool!" Said Gary. "Thanks Dad!"
He then threw the Pokeball and out came an small brown fox looking Pokémon with a light brown buffy fur around it's neck, it's an Eevee the normal type and the evolution Pokémon.
"Eevee." Said the little normal type.
"Alight an Eevee it's perfect." Said Gary has he picked it up and put it one his right shoulder. "Hi little guy the names Gary Oak and from now on you and I are partners."
"Vee!" The little furry Pokémon yelp in joy.
"Aww aren't you the cutest..." Said Serena has she when to the little Pokémon wanting to pet it.
But the little normal type glared and growled at her, That made her back away and she lough nervously.
"Relax Serena give Eevee sometime it'll warm up to others." Said Gary
But as that was going on Ash was watching the whole thing and was being a little jealous that his rival got his Pokémon and not him.
"Hey Ash don't worry son." Said a voice Ash then turn to see his parents and brother Lance with smiles on their faces, Ash's mother Delia "Leaf Green" Ketchum was holding a baby boy in her arms.
"One day you will get you're own Pokémon and that's a promise." Said Fire Red as he handed him his gift it wasn't a pokeball but it was something that was almost as good it was a red cap with a green pokeball picture on it. Though it wasn't the same gift Gary got he was just as happy to get it and happy he get to spin the holidays with his friends and family.
Later at new years day and it was still snowing
Ash Gary and Serena just finish watching their favorite movies Stand by me and The Wizard of Oz, and now they are in front of the road that leads to route one. They were all thinking of the something of staring their journey.
"There is only one road." Said Ash. "And I'm looking forward to it."
"Well you're impatient." Said Gary "It's not like you're going journey right now. We all have to wait until we are ten."
"I know but..." Ash said "I just can't wait."
"Well guys I'm looking forward to it one day too." Said Serena trying to keep herself warm "But how about we go inside it's getting cold."
They all agreed and as they had back Serena thought to herself. "I know my mom wants me to be a Rhyhorn racer like she was but I'm not sure that's want I want to be I'd rather show case the beauty of Pokémon...But how?"
Then they heard a nose that went. "Pika!"
All sudden a yellow rodent looking Pokémon with red circle cheeks one both sides of it's face, leaped of from the wood right in front of the three. It had some injuries and a very angry look on it's face as soon as it saw the three.
"What is that Pokémon?" Ash asked in shocked.
"That's a Pikachu." Said Gary surprised "But look at it, It's must have been thought a lot."
"The poor thing we should help it." Serena said in a sympathetic voice.
"Right!" Ash agreeing as he approach.
"Ash wait!" Gary shouted trying to stop but it was too late as the eclectic type zapped Ash with a Thundershock. "Pikachu!"
"AAAAHHHH!" Ash now on the ground zapped but alright.
"Ash are you okay?" Asked Serena
"Umm...Yeah." Ash said
"You idiot you should have approach a Pokémon especially and injurie one like that." Gary said looking down at him.
"Oh and there it is!" Ash braked back as he got back up. "Mr. Knowing and all jerk about Pokémon!"
Then as the two were arguing Serena saw that the Pikachu fell to the ground.
"Well you two knock off!" She said as he slaps the both of them. "Can't you both see that poor Pikachu is weaken and needs help!"
They all stared at the unconscious Pokémon, Ash waste no time and picked it up and ran to Professor Oak's lab with Gary and Serena close behind.
Later at the Lab Professor Oak and his aids one of them being Gary's sister and map maker Daisy Oak she was 16 like Lance Ketchum. She and Professor Oak were nursing Pikachu back to health and while that was going on Ash Gary, and Serena were watching thought a window of the recovery room.
"I hope that Pikachu is okay." Said Ash worrisome.
"Hey give my gramps some credit." Said Gary "His not the professor of Pokémon for nothing."
"I hope you're right Gary." Said Serena
An hour has pass and the Professor Oak had when to see the three and then said. "Pikachu is now on the road to recovery but it's going to need some sleep."
Ash Gary, and Serena all sighed in relief.
The next day
Ash when to see Pikachu eating some food and it was in a enclosure room with an unbreakable glass door.
"Hi Pikachu." Ash said seeing the electric mouse.
"Pika." But all it did was turn it's head and continued to eat it's food.
"I don't think it likes me very much." Said Ash
"I don't think it likes any human really." Said Oak as he approach Ash.
"But why?" Asked Ash
"Well my guess it must have bad history with people." Said Oak
"So you don't like me Pikachu?" Ash turn to the mouse Pokémon.
"Pika." Replied Pikachu with a nodding it's head yes.
"But I like you." Ash said with a smile.
"Pikachu?" The little yellow rodent turn it's head to Ash with a curious look.
"Listen I know you don't like people but I'm going to let you know that I'm not like any of those guy who had hurt you buddy." Ash said.
Pikachu was still wondering about if this human boy was telling him is true or not.
A week later.
Ash got to know Pikachu more and vice versa, But Pikachu was still not sure about him. They were now out side of the lab seeing if Pikachu would be okay it was walking okay however both Ash and Pikachu looked to the sky and see that it was about to rain.
"We better head in side Pikachu." Ash said
"Pika Pika." Pikachu nodded it's head in agreement.
But as this was happening Oak came out of his lab in a shock and rage.
"Someone had stolen the Charmander pokeball!" Shouted the Pokémon professor.
"What!?" Said the young boy as he turn to Oak.
"I was checking on the pokeballs and see if they are ready but when I turn my back it was gone!" Oak said in a panic.
"I'll go get it back for you Oak!" Ash said as he ran off.
"Ash no wait!" Oak said as he tried to stop him but Ash was too fast.
Pikachu may not like the boy but even it doesn't want him to get hurt and so he fallowed him. The next thing they knew they wear got in the rain which was turning into a storm.
"Okay this was a bad idea let's go back buddy!" Shouted Ash
"Pika!" Was all Pikachu can say.
But then they heard a sound not to fare from them. "Char!"
They then when to the sound and see a Charmander and then Ash said to himself. "That must be the missing Charmander!"
The poor fire type was trying to keep it's fire tail stay lit, but also trying to fight off some angry Spearows, A normal and flying type tiny bird Pokémon peaking at Charmander for being in their territory. But then Ash ran at them and shouted "Hey leave that Charmander alone!"
Pikachu was surprise of how brave Ash was, even he knew almost nothing about him and it is now seeing and Charmander was seeing this too.
The flock of angry tiny bird Pokémon then turn to Ash and was flying at him and Pikachu peaking at them. Of course the Pallet town boy wasn't about to let them hurt Pikachu and Charmander, So he used his jacket (that he wore for the rain) to grabbed Pikachu and Charmander and try to keep them safe. But as he was running back to pallet town he tripped and the Spearow was still after them.
But Ash wasn't about to get back up and said to Charmander and Pikachu. "Listen you guys just go back to Pallet town and get back to Professor Oak and tell him what happened okay, I'll try and whole them off."
He then turn back to the Spearows and said "Okay listen up Spearow I'm not going to let you hurt my friends, and if you want to hurt them you going to have to go thought me first so come and get me!"
Then Pikachu and Charmander did the unthinkable they summoned their last remanding strength to jumped in front of Ash and used thundershock and ember then fend off the tiny bird Pokémon.
The three were now lying on the ground were looking up in they sky.
Then they saw something in the sky A big bird looking Pokémon flying though a rainbow. It was big and had a reddish gold aura all around it.
"Wow." Ash said as he and the two Pokémon fell to sleep.
The next day
Ash woke up in his bed and saw that his covered in badges on some of his body. He then got out of bed but his right leg was also in pain so he used a crotch to get around and he started to shouted.
"Hey mom!"
"Ash!?" Said a voice coming to his room and then as she open the door see saw that her son was okay. Then when she did she gave him a big hug, but then broke off and then said with a stern voice. "Ash! Him glade you're okay but you shouldn't have done something so dangerous!"
"Sorry mom." Ash said "But I couldn't just let that poor Charmander out there to suffer, especially when it was abandoned by that guy who stolen it from Oak. Where is it anyway and Pikachu are they okay?"
Ash began to worry but then his mom put her hand on his shoulder and said "Their both fine, But they need their sleep as do you."
Ash then got back in his bed and as he did he was still thinking about the Pikachu and Charmander.
5 days had past.
Ash when to see Pikachu and Charmander and they were alright as they were playing in the backyard of the lab. then when they saw Ash was okay they ran and jump to him and to much to everyone. Pikachu and Charmander leapt in to Ash arms and hugged him.
"I guess this means we're friends right?" Ash asked
Only for them to nodded their head in happiness.
"Pika."
"Char."
Ash was very happy to hear that and he hugged it out with them. Ash then told Professor Oak about the mysterious Pokémon they saw which got Oak took in very curiously.
"Could this be...?" Oak said in his head. "The legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh?"
Spring had came
Ash Pikachu, and Charmander were now outside of Professor Oak's Lab and was talking to his friends Gary and Serena.
"Pikachu and I are partners now!" Said Ash "And Charmander is going to be my first pick as my starter and ace."
Both Pokémon jumped for joy.
"Pika! Pika!"
"Charmander!"
"Glade you made you're picks." Said Serena
"Ummm..." Gary said as he was less the impress. "You shouldn't have just announce of what Pokémon you are going to start out with and do you really want that Charmander?"
The fire lizard didn't took kindly to that and growled at Gary as he continued. "You do know that their are Rock Water, and Ground type gyms in this region, It won't have a chance."
"Well I don't care." Ash burst out. "Because if we work together we can do anything right guys?"
"Pika!"
"Char, Char!"
The three put their hands in together summiting their pond.
Serena was happy for Ash while Gary just stood there still not amused. But he got a good look in Ash's eyes and saw something he can't describe but he don't like it.
"I wouldn't be able to do that." Gary said in his head. "When that Pikachu had an expression like that, Ash has a power that I don't."
"By the way Gary." Ash said
"What are you talking about?" Gary asked
"Our summer vacation homework I've decide." Ash said "I'm going to be the strongest trainer."
Gary then said in his head "This guy always loses to me...In school when playing or whatever else. But..."
"I told you." Gary then spoke out loud. "Not to imitate me, This is why you're such child..."
"No." Ash said "This is why I'll be your rival, Together me and my Pokémon we become the strongest in the world!"
"As if you could idiot." Gary replied with a smirk, and then he spoke in his head. "Ash you do not intimated me."
5 years later
Ash Gary, and Serena were now in Oak's Lab ready to pick out their Pokémon and lucky for Ash. Oak saved Charmander for him when we is ready for him when he begins his journey.
Each of them were wearing new looks at ten years old. Ash wear a red cap with a white pokeball symbol and a black shirt, and blue jeans and running shoes and green fingerless gloves and a red backpack. Then Gary wear a blue shirt and purple jeans and brown shoes and he has a green gem around his neck. Serena wear a white hat and a pink pokeball symbol also she wears a pink skirt, as a white running shoes and long pink socks and blue blouse and her pink bag.
"Alright!" Said Ash as he got Charmander's pokeball. "Thanks Professor Oak!"
"What about you Gary?" Said Oak
"Well Gramps." Said Gary "Since Ash choose Charmander I'm going with Squirtle because it has the type advantage over it, and much like me always have the advantage over Ash."
Ash just growled at Gary.
"And well that's just leaves me with Bulbasaur." Said Serena as she took the grass type's ball. "But that's fine I was going to pick it anyway it's really cute."
"Well now that all of you have you're Pokémon." Said the Professor as he handed then red devices holding their Poke license. "With these you can scan any Pokémon you come across and it can tell facts about them, Make them easier to understand catch, and battle."
"Thanks professor." said the three.
But then as soon as they got out side of the lab Gary turn to Ash and said "Hey Ashy boy let's check out our Pokémon, come on I'll take you on!"
"Okay Gary you're on!" Ash replied The two waste no time being on far opposite sides and drew their Pokeballs.
"Charmander I Choose You!" Ash was the first to threw his ball and out came the fire type lizard. Ash then pulled out his pokedex so he can under stand it more and it even can tell it's gender it's ability, and it's moves. "Charmander, the Lizard Pokémon. When the tip of Charmander's tail burns brightly, that indicates it's in good health." Charmander was indeed a male and it's ability is Blaze Powers up Fire-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. His moves are Scratch Growl, and Ember.
"My turn Ash." Said Gary as he threw his Pokeball. "Get ready for battle Squirtle!"
Then out came Squirtle the water type, Gary then did the something Ash did to understand his Pokémon better. "Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokémon. During battle, Squirtle hides in its shell that sprays water at its opponent whenever it can." It too was a male and it's ability was Torrent Powers up Water-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. his moves are Tackle Tail Whip, and Bubble.
"Well this is going to be fun," Serena said as she pulled out her Pokeball and then out came the grass and poison type Bulbasaur. She then pulled out her Pokedex and it said "Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokémon. A young Bulbasaur uses the nutrients from its seed for the energy it needs to grow." Bulbasaur was a female and her ability was Overgrow Powers up Grass-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. Her moves are Tackle Growl, and Leech Seed.
"Hello Bulbasaur." Serena said, the seed Pokémon turn to her with a smile and a nodded. She then petted the grass type on the head much to her like. But then they turn back to the battle that Ash and Gary are having.
"Hey Ash how about I let you made the first move." Gary said with a sly smirk. "So make it look good."
"Okay Charmander use Ember!" Ash ordered then the fire type shot a merge of little flames out from his mouth and it was a hit. But then as the smoke cleared to reviled it showed that Squirtle and the moves did little damage to the water type who was smirking.
"Squirtle."
"Nice try Ashy boy but it's going to take a lot more then a fire type move to bring down my Squirtle." Said Gary giving the same cocky grind. "Use Bubble!"
The water type then shot small bubbles out from his mouth and it hit the water type, But unlike Charmander's attack it did a lot more damage.
"Char!" The fire type roared in pain.
"Charmander are you okay?" Ash asked then the fire type got back up and was ready for more. "Okay use Scratch!"
"Char!"
Charmander then started to scratch the water type repeatedly but the water type was blocking the attack.
"Squirtle use tail whip to lower Charmander's defends and the use tackle!" The water type wagged his tail and the fire defends was lowered and then Squirtle tackled Charmander.
"Char!"
"Now use Bubble again!" Gary order as his attack hit once more and the fire type fell to the ground in defeat.
"Char..."
"Huh!" Ash shouted "Charmander."
"Nice try Ashy boy." Said an over confident Gary. "But like I said you've should've made a better choice."
"Charmander return." Ash said, Charmander then turn into red energy and when back into it's pokeball. Ash then turn to Gary and said "The battle not over yet i've still got one more! Go Pikachu!"
"Pika!" The yellow mouse then leap into the battle field ready to fight. Ash then pulled out his pokedex to look up Pikachu. Pikachu, the Mouse Pokémon. An Electric type. Pikachu have pouches on their cheeks that can store electricity, which they release if threatened. Male and female Pikachu have differently shaped tails." Pikachu was indeed a male and it's ability was Static The Pokémon is charged with static electricity and may paralyze attackers that make direct contact with it. His moves are Thundershock and Growl.
"You see Gary I'm not as dumb as you think I am." Ash said "Pikachu eclectic beats water so use Thundershock!"
"Pikachu!"
Pikachu waste no time zapping the tiny turtle Pokémon doing a lot of damage.
"Squirtle!"
The water type was still standing for about a few minutes before fall to the ground.
"Squirtle..."
"Squirtle!" Gary said in shock as he saw that Ash was able to take down his own.
"Wait a got Pikachu!" Ash said prizing his little partner.
"Pika!"
"Well looks like there's hope for you yet." Gary said while he return his Squirtle back to his pokeball. "But it's going to take more then that to beat me!"
Gary then pulled out his next pokeball and then threw it while saying "Get ready for battle Eevee!"
Then out came his Eevee.
"Vee."
Gary took out his pokedex and about facts about his normal type. "Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon. A Normal type. Because of its unstable DNA, Eevee possesses a wide variety of evolutionary possibilities hidden inside." Eevee was female her ability is Adaptability Powers up moves of the same type as the Pokémon. Her moves are Tackle and Sand Attack.
"Pikachu can't hit what he can't see!" Gary said "Eevee use Sand-Attack!"
"Vee!"
Eevee then kicked sands in Pikachu's eyes.
"Chu!"
"Use Thundershock Pikachu!" Ash ordered
In spite of having sand in his eyes he was able to shock Eevee, But she was still standing.
"Eevee use Tackle!" Eevee then charge at Pikachu then slam into him. "Now use Sand attack!"
The normal type then kick sand at his eyes again.
"Use growl!" Pikachu was able use growl to lower Eevee lower her attack.
"Use Tackle!" Gary ordered
While that was going on Serena was looking at the battle and was amaze how good both Ash and Gary were in Pokémon battles, She then turn to Bulbasaur and then said "I wonder how well we can work together Bulbasaur?"
"Saur."
But as they turn back they saw that both Pokémon used their final attack which was Thundershock and Tackle. Both landed but as they did Pikachu and Eevee fell to the ground unable to battle.
"Pikachu!" Ash shouted as he ran to Pikachu and picked him up.
"Eevee!" Gary said as he did the same for his Pokémon.
"Well it's a draw this time." Ash said as he turn to Gary, before looking back to Pikachu. "Good job Pikachu."
"Pika." Pikachu replied.
"Tch." Gary said "Come back Eevee."
"Hey Gary." Ash said "Eevee also fought really well, You should at least tell she did a great job."
"What?" Asked Gary. "There is no need to say such things, right now my Pokémon and I are thinking of the same thing. It's not over yet to tie against that's unacceptable."
Gary then picked up his bag and started to walk off.
"What..." Ash said getting quickly angry. "Hey where are you going?"
"To route 1." Gary said "I need to get to Viridian city before the sun sets. I year until the Pokémon League and 8 badges are required to enter the league. We also need to train our Pokémon, I can't waste time here."
"Pokemon League..." Ash said
"Well it's an event that has nothing to do with you." Gary said while he turn to taunting him.
"Gary the battle this time ended in a draw so..." Ash replied "Let's clear up who's the winner!"
"Huh? We just had a battle a stupid." Gary said as he turn back to him. "We'll meet each other again since we'll be traveling the same region so..."
"That's diffrent!" Ash interrupted
"Huh?" Gary asked
Ash pointed to the indigo plateau. "Let's finish it over there!"
It was a mountain and that's where the Pokémon league is where. "Indigo Plateau the Pokémon stadium! At the end of our journey let's finish everything over there! At the ultimate stage!"
"You...League?" Gary said with a cocky grind "Do you know that you won't be able to keep that promise?"
"Don't sweat it!" Ash gave a determine look. "I'm going to travel the world like you. I am going to get much stronger though the journey, I will gather 8 badges to enter the league and beat you! I will become the Pokémon Master!"
"Here it comes." Replied Gary with another sly smirk "Your usual "Pokémon master" fantasy. You should say something like that after winning against me at least once Ashy boy."
The two lean in and glared at each other but after a few seconds Gary just turn away and said "This is dumb."
Ash then fell to the ground face first.
"Gary!: Ash said as he got back up and getting more mad. "Don't move away suddenly like that!"
Gary then stopped and pause for a moment and said "I accept."
"Huh?" Said Ash
"I said that I accept you're challenge." Gary said as he turn back to Ash. "We'll clear out who's the winner of this battle at the league, one year later. Well, inly if you ever get good enough to enter the league in the first place."
Ash then smirk and the pulled his fist out and then said "Right back at you!"
Later in front of route one
After saying goodbye to their friends and families Ash Gary and Serena were about to part ways.
"Guys!" Serena suddenly shouted at them, getting their attention. "I just want you two to know that I'm going to fallow my own destiny too. I don't know what it is but I want to travel with one of you if that's okay?"
"Thanks but no thanks." Said Gary. "But he who travel the fastest, Travels alone. I mean no offense but this my quest."
"Well Serena you can traveled with me." Ash said while putting his hand on his shoulder and given her a smile.
Serena blush and then said "Okay thanks Ash."
"Well smell you guys later." Gary said as he went off his own way.
As for Ash and Serena were going their own way looking forwarded of what await them on their Pokémon journey.
