Discord marveled at the chaotic landscape around him. What was once Ponyville was now his domain. Chaotic and random, just the way he liked it. He summoned a cup to toast his success and filled it up with chocolate milk as he gloated to himself, 'Nothing can stop me, not Celestia and not those pathetic ponies…' He smiled as he drank the glass, literally, and relished in victory.
"There you are Discord! Your reign of chaos ends now!" A familiar, and annoying voice got his attention. It was the purple pegasus, Twilight, and her "friends". Discord rolled his eyes and threw his chocolate milk causing an explosion behind him, "This again? Really, I thought you ponies learned your lesson…" he sighed annoyedly and leisurely leaned on his chair, "Your last attempt went so well, guess you want to make yourselves feel better. Go ahead and show me this 'power of friendship' you ponies like to boast about…"
The team looked at Discord furiously, but he just waited nonchalantly for their inevitable failure. Twilight powered up her horn, and to Discord's amazement, the elements of Harmony started to glow! "What's this?" He asked in shock and disbelief, then it hit him 'The Elements- They're working this time!' He was so shocked that he could barely let out a "No-" before Twilight's eyes glowed a blinding white, with her friends following the same.
To the ponies, it looked like Discord was paralyzed in fear, but the truth was he was racking his brain for a plan out of this mess, 'I need to leave! Where is a place that I can go that no one will be able to find me?' The Mane 6 had all their elements unite their lights into a rainbow that flew up into the sky… then came back towards Discord. The last second before the rainbow hit him, a thought hit him 'Of course! The Interwebs!' and teleported himself there. He was safe… but his safety had a cost.
He had transported himself into a world between worlds, a dimension where everything was at your fingertips, but you needed a special device to access it. The device opened a portal to where you were and what you wanted to find, the concept was extremely simple and didn't need a bookworm like Twilight to understand it. Problem was, he couldn't get anywhere till someone on the other side opened up a portal.
"Great plan Discord! Now we're stuck here forever!" A clone of Discord yelled at him from a floating article, "Oh come on, at least we're not stone again!" He shivered at the thought, "Why couldn't a pony ever give me a good dusting or scratch my nose once in a while… Anyway! We are out of there, good job me," His doppelganger rolled its eyes, "To rot in this wasteland of words and nonsense…" Discord scowled at the article, then got an idea, "Wait a minute… We can be seen by the whole world here! We just need to make an offer they can't refuse! Then when they go to see what we offer-' 'His doppelganger grinned as he finished his thought, "We use the opportunity to make our escape!" Discord smiled evilly, "I'm glad we're on the same page," He let out a barrage of laughter that echoed into the nothingness around him, then listened as the echoes became too quiet for him to hear, "I really gotta stop talking to myself…"
