Greetings. First time writing something like this. Don't fully know where it will go just yet. But it has been floating in my head for awhile. Hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think.

After the events of the year, Harry felt it was a good idea to relax. Though unfortunately that didn't seem possible. But he figured it would be nice to enjoy Bill and Fleur's wedding. As people started to gather for the event, Harry thought back to the last few days. First was the Flight of the Seven Potters, it was a harrowing experience in which they lost Mad Eye. And then they were graced with the Minister's presence on his birthday last night.
Though things became a little heated with the conversation with the Ministers clear lack of resolve to ending the war and more concerned about staying alive to politick. Well that not clear correct since he was doing better than Fudge but not really looking for improvements. But after talking with Sirius and Hermione while Ron just ate and nodded his head, Harry felt it would be best to just enjoy the day before they started hunting the Horcruxes. But thankfully nothing really can go wrong with a wedding.
Upon thinking back on this thought, Harry really wished he had never said that.
As people walked into the wedding tent, he saw Remus and She-Who-is-Not-to-Be-Name Tonks, had just arrived along with Snuffles aka Padfoot, who was wearing a bowtie. Seeing Sirius as a dog dressed in a bowtie got a small chuckle out of Harry, since seeing the Animagus walk in acting a little posh in his fancy clothes. Harry also happened to see an engagement ring on Tonks as well, seems as if Moony finally caved to Tonks. Poor man. But Harry was happy for them. Harry also notice that Tonks' mother, Andromeda had showed up as well dragging Ted into the tent. No doubt to start a family talk with her daughter about the ring.
Harry then saw Luna, her father, and some of the other DA make an appearance. That was nice that the Weasley's invited them. Then Victor Krum showed up with a few excited murmurs to appear from the crowd. Harry knew Ron wasn't going to be please. Not one bit. And judging from the scarlet ears Ron was sporting, he was right.
As Harry walked into the tent to take a seat, he saw Hermione was wearing a simple red dress that clung to her body nicely, and since there was and open seat next to her he sat there.
'Hello Harry, Hermione. It it good to see you.' Remus said from behind them. Harry and Hermione both turned to Remus.
'Remus, Tonks, Snuffles. You all look quite good as well.' Harry responded. Snuffle then let out a quick bark, that didn't sound like laughter, in reply.
'Tonks it seems you finally sunk your claws into Remus it seems.' Hermione said eyeing the ring on Tonks finger.
'Not just yet, Hermione. We were going to elope, but somehow my dearest mother found out and this is the closest I've gotten to Remus in weeks. I have been wanting a good shag for awhile and now I have to wait. But only for a few more days.' Tonks said.
'Yes and you will be in might line of sight for this whole event.' Andromeda spoke up.
'I'm 24 mother. I don't need to be watched.' Tonks shot back, in clear annoyance.
'That maybe so but you still need to maintain proper respects when getting married. One wrong thing and who knows what could go wrong.' Her mother told her.
'We would have just gotten a small muggle service though. Nothing magical.' Tonks said.
'Nymphadora! You are a witch. Magic must be followed or the marriage is not binding. Haven't you learned anything?'
Harry and Hermione gave a look at each other, this was new to them. But not sure if they should speak up. Andromeda could see the confusion though.
"Harry, Hermione. Magicals need to have a magic based wedding or some form of it in a ceremony. Magic binds all in a relationship. Hence why divorce is not a thing here. Once you are bound, only death separates the husband and wife." Andi explained.
Hearing this was a surprise to Harrry, but Hermione seemed to understand and started to go into another world of discussion with Andi about the differences that Harry would never truly understand.
After a few minutes of listening to idle chatter a young, lanky man stood up and went to the front. To Harry he looked quite nervous and out of sorts. Remus then whispered into Harry's ear. 'That is the minister that will over see the ceremony.'
'He looks a little green' Harry stated back.
'Not surprising, Arthur told me the boy just got licensed recently and this is his first wedding ever.' Remus explained. When Harry heard this he started to get a bad feeling in his stomach.
'Harry? Are you alright?' Hermione asked, clearly concerned for her friend. Harry just nodded his head as the music started to play. Upon the strike of the first note, Bill stood up and went next to the minister and his best man, Charlie right with him. Bill had a smile that seem to glow. Then after Ginny and Gabriel walked in as bridesmaids, Fleur made an appearance.
Instantly the world seemed to be silenced as her beauty seemed to capture even the world. She had on a elegant white dress and sitting on top of her head was the goblin wrought diadem that Muriel let the Weasley's use. Upon reaching Bill, the minister asked everyone to be seated.
'Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to see the magical union between this man and this woman. Is there any here that would object to the union of the two?' The minister said with authority. The sudden change in demeanor surprised Harry greatly. Maybe thing would be alright after all. 'With all present being in accord to the joining of these two families. Let us draw our wands.'
Harry then watched as all present pulled out their wands at the minister's asking. 'Now that they are out. Please focus on intent of the magic vow as I recite the Marriage Vow.'
Harry didn't really understand this part of what was asked but figured it was something along the line of closing his eyes and focusing his magic on the idea that the two should be married. Had Harry not closed his eyes, he would not have missed the green coloring returning to the ministers face once more and the nervousness in his eyes.
'With the union of this man and the woman, may Lady Magic . . . choose the correct pairing. Upon this union, so mote it be.' The minister stated with a flick of his wand at the satin ribbon hovering in the air.
The nanosecond the minister said this, a collective gasp was heard among the crowd of magicals. Harry opened his eyes to see what was going on, only to see a look of horror and fear on everyone's faces. Harry then saw flicker of movement out of his eye and then tried to dodge but it was too late. The ribbon that the minister had used was starting to coil around Harry as quick as lightning and drag him to the front where it was bound around Fleur already.
'Hermione help!' Harry said. And tried to reach out but was unable to due to the ribbon having bound his arms.
"Hermione don't! Tonks shouted and made a grab for Hermione. But Hermione being the good friend that she was, grabbed Harry's arm and tried to pull him back. This only cause the binding ribbon to latch onto the both of them as well. And with one last tug the ribbon sent Harry, Hermione and Tonks flying to the front and colliding with Fleur in a flash of light blinding everyone.

With the flash of light gone, everyone could see again. But what they found was not good. Harry was on his back with Fleur, Hermione, and Tonks on top of him as well. The minister at this point looked pale and ready to pass out, quickly gathered his things and hurried to Harry who was starting to sit up.
'Mr. Potter congrats on your marriage. Have a wonderful life.' The minister shook his hand and Disapparated away.
'Wait what did he say? Married?' Harry asked. He then look down and upon noticing the gleaming gold band on his left hand, promptly passed out as the cries of outrage and anguish erupted.
