After Kita had been allowed to leave the infirmary room, Brooklyn had been pleased to see her resume her position on the parapets by his side to turn to stone with him. But there was still the matter of Siveth to deal with, since she was two years younger than Bronx and not having lived in Wyvern before.
Xanatos came across Siveth having ripped up a priceless tapestry she had been sharpening her talons on, grabbing her scruff and taking her to the clan. "You really got to train this one soon, Brooklyn. She will destroy the castle if not taken care of," he demanded, placing her down near the two females Kita and Kaori, who mostly gave little grins, trying to apologize for Siveth's naughty behavior.
"Maybe me and Hudson can help," Brooklyn volunteered, scratching Siveth behind the ears. Hudson could agree to this, having the idea bring back memories of when he trained Bronx at the old castle. He too scratched Siveth's head.
"Would be an honor." The elder spoke in a soft voice, the two sisters grinning at him and saying thank you over and over, while Kaori went to find her boyfriend Lex and hang out with him.
Brooklyn and Hudson both knew it would take a few months to get Siveth to be a better-behaved gar dog, but inside hopefully, it would be worth the effort, as they went to the courtyard of the castle, even bringing out some training items that Owen had gotten for them. They taught Siveth how to sit, fetch, and not to rip up priceless items, even setting up an obstacle course for the gar pup to test her agility and speed, which she seemed to be good at.
When she finished the course, Brooklyn tossed Siveth a piece of ham he had with him. "Good girl, Siveth!" He cheered, a grin on his beak, happy to be able to hang out with her again, Siveth cooing and rubbing against his leg, making him laugh, wondering what Lex and his girl were up to right now. Even Bronx had showed up to the party when the training was done, greeting Siveth with a woof, and the two of them went romping around some more.
Hudson laughed, while Brooklyn's heart felt cheered watching them tussling over one another. "I think they may like each other." Brooklyn told Hudson.
"Aye, and maybe we might even see some little baby gar pups in our future," he said in his gruff but gentle voice. Brooklyn himself liked the idea of baby gargoyle dogs around the castle. He hadn't seen any for a while and hoped that could happen with Bronx and Siveth.

Kaori had managed to find Lexington experimenting with electronic toy cars, tapping on his shoulder and making him jump. "Sorry, just wanted to spend more time with you," Kaori said, her tail swishing.
Lexington turned red but his lips turned up in a smile, willing to do anything to gain more time to be by her side. "Ok, what should we do tonight?" Kaori shuffled her feet. "Maybe, we could try doing a movie? I haven't been to a theater yet," she said, wanting to be able to see more western culture movies.
Lexington liked that idea, for he too hadn't seen a movie in theaters for a while. "Sounds like a good idea. They're replaying The Lion King if that is a good enough movie for you," he offered.
Her eyes lit up, knowing from history books that it was one of the most popular animated films, nodding. "Sure!" She agreed, giving him a hug and another kiss. Lexington tried not to get too distracted by her graceful figure as he took her hand, guiding Kaori out to the balcony, Goliath watching them leave.
"And where are you two going?" he questioned.
The young couple turned to Goliath. "We're going to see a movie together, if that is ok since Brooklyn and Hudson are busy with Siveth," Lexington explained. Goliath eventually smiled a little since he knew now that the two of them were just wanting to spend more time together.
Goliath nodded. "Alright but be on the lookout for Castaway and his men, for the protestors are on the rise tonight. I don't want you two to get into danger." Lexington agreed to what his leader said. "We will, and I will protect her with my life," He promised, taking a gentle hold of Kaori's hand. "And we'll be back before sunup." Brooklyn had come up around that time but felt worried for his little brother.
"Don't let your guards down too much guys and watch your backs." He warned like the Second he was. Lex punched him. "It will be good, bro. You won't need to worry so much." He stated with a grin, Brooklyn smiling back a little.
The two soon took off into the warm night air of August, looking forward to watching their movie, excited to spend more time together.

Meanwhile, in Castaway's quarters, the evil man had gathered up a bunch of anti-gargoyle people to tell them of his plan to get to the red gargoyle and his pretty demoness, having sent out two spies to keep their eyes open for any activity from the clan. He had delivered a rousing speech to the gathered audience that he would finally give them a gargoyle to be hung up for entertainment in front of them, making the group cheer.
Castaway grinned at the idea after hearing of that auctioneer, Yegor being taken in by the police, for he would fulfill that man's dreams of humiliating those pathetic beings of the night once and for all.
The spy continued to fly around in his suit until soon, he spotted something that wasn't the gargoyles Castaway hoped for; but for another male/female couple that were gliding to a movie theater, both of them laughing. He called Castaway on the radio. "I found a pair, my leader. They're out just simply enjoying themselves, and distracted," he said in a sinister way.
Castaway smiled on his end. "Good job. I shall be there soon with the others."
Lexington and Kaori had managed to get into the movie without being seen by anybody and were able to have some real privacy with each other. The olive male felt really lucky to have met Kita's sister and was happy that Brooklyn brought her back too. They hugged one another while the movie's music rang through their ears, which happened to be a scene from The Lion King where Nala and Simba made love with one another.
"Your western movies are so interesting, Lex," Kaori said in an interested voice.
Lex smiled back at her. "Yeah, plus we have so many choices of them. Also have always been interested in how they project the images onto the screen." Suddenly, he saw how Kaori was looking at him, making Lex gulp a bit, feeling warm in his belly, knowing what was coming.
Flushing deeply, he knew now what Kaori wanted, the two going in for a kiss, a real one. It sent butterflies through Lex while they hugged each other the best way possible with their wings inside of their arms, the Lion King love song ringing through. This was the best night ever for Lexington but was unaware that soon it was going to go awry.
Upon leaving, they headed on their way back to the castle but then Lexington suddenly thought of one more thing to do. "Hey, Kaori? Maybe we can stay out a little longer? Had longed to look through old electronic stuff in a junkyard for some reason people throw away," he invited.
Kaori didn't know about that since it was getting close, but she did want this to be the best night, so she agreed. "Alright, but let's make sure we're careful," she advised. Her boyfriend nodded, and the two glided over to the nearest junkyard area close to Central Park, both excited about what they could find.
The couple managed to land amongst the junk and began to explore, unaware that they had been followed by the Quarrymen, who were lying in wait around the trash piles.
Jon watched the two demons as they explored a lot of the old electronics, signaling his followers to continue to close in.
Lexington at one point, found an old Gameboy, feeling excited about his find and wanted to show Kaori but suddenly, he smelt danger nearby, feeling like he was being watched. He growled slightly, noting that there could be Quarrymen around, remembering Brooklyn's warning. He went to go and warn Kaori but wound up hearing a female's scream that sounded like her. His eyes widened. "Kaori!" He cried out, running to find her.
That was when he yelped as a net shot out of nowhere, tangling him up and sending the olive gargoyle to the ground in a heap. He growled, struggling to get free until Lex looked up to see the Quarrymen around him, one of them holding his girl hostage in their hands, seeing her struggling greatly.
A sinister laugh came from behind a trash pile and Lex saw Castaway come out, holding his hammer and smirking. Lexington's eyes flashed as he hissed, wanting to get this net off. "Oh, don't struggle, small one. It will only make things worse for your precious girl," he threatened, showing his hammer to Kaori, her eyes bright with fear.
"What do you want with us? Let us go!" Lexington stormed out of his fury, scratching at the net but it was gargoyle proof again.
Castaway just kept up his grin, moving his hammer near Lexington next, who felt his heart thumping quite a lot, not sure how they could get out of this one without his girlfriend getting seriously injured. He knew now they had no choice, not without having backup to save them.
Soon, the Quarrymen were able to drag away the two gargoyles back to their headquarters at first to weaken them before bringing the two out in front of the gargoyle protestors, tossing them into a cage and having Castaway lock it once they got chained up.
"Look at the little lovebirds, all cozy in the cage," sneered Jon mockingly, Lex struggling in his chains and growling at him. "But it is not just you I want. I also want that red gargoyle of yours and his girl. We can't have too many gargoyles repopulating if you know what I mean…" He threatened, hitting his hammer on the bars.
Kaori wouldn't have Castaway threaten them, as this was her first encounter. She was afraid at first but once Jon had threatened her sister and brother that crossed the line. "You won't touch my sister!" She shrieked, before Castaway lit up his hammer, making her flinch and look away.
"No backtalk from you two, or you'll get barbecued, got it?!" snapped Castaway in his maddened tone, making the two of them lower their heads, wondering what was going to happen to them if the clan didn't come in time.
But Lexington wasn't sure now if he did want the clan to come if it meant more pain for Brooklyn, whom he felt had suffered enough under the abuse of Yegor and his brutal travels home, hoping there could be a way for him and Kaori to both escape together and make it home or at least find a safe spot to turn to stone at sunrise, but it didn't look like they were going to get out tonight.
With what movement he had, Lex took his girlfriend's hand gently, who was shaking after the Quarrymen left, Castaway leaving at least one in charge. He gave her a comforting smile. "Don't be afraid Kaori. We will get out of this mess, I know we will, no matter what comes," he said, slightly calmer now from before.
Kaori felt more tears down her face. "What are these humans going to have planned for us, Lex? I'm… scared," she admitted in a quiet voice.
"I don't know. But we will be together whatever happens." Lexington murmured, gazing through the bars, seeing the sun rising, and him and Kaori changing for the day, wondering if the clan by now had realized they were missing.
