Void Reader: I did show that in the past in the battle that caused Knuckles and Albion to be lost for all that time; he was fighting Mogul at the end of the war between the Echidna Empire and the Order of Ixis and Locke had ot sacrifice his mortal body to send Mogul into his own Chaos Emerald.

Tails' workshop in Green Hill Zone and Sonic came and greeted Tails and Nicole with a wave as they were working together on a computer; Sonic looked concerned as they looke dlike they were getting frustrated. "Yo Tails, Nicole... Something the matter?" Sonic asked as they acknowledged him with a wave.

"Don't worry about us Main Hedgehog; we are just hard at work on our project to try and locate where Robotnik's base is and triangulate the areas where the Badniks have been sent around Mobius but even with Dr Ellidy's technology... We are still having trouble trying to find it." Nicole explained to Sonic and Tails sighed.

"Robotnik must have some beyond our reach cloaking technology around his base which is still active even after his defeat and arrest. Even with the technology and all the files of Nicole's dad, I am struggling to find our where it could be." Tails said banging his fist on the table in frustration but Sonic smiled as he put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

"I know that you will find a way Tails buddy; Robotnik was not smarter than you and he only got as far as he did by lucking out in finding alien tech that he made use. Plus with Starline in charge of his base and him nowhere being as good or smart as Robotnik was; I know tht sooner or later he will slip up and you will find him." Sonic told him and Tails smiled at him.

"Thanks Sonic; I lucked out getting to have an awesome friend you having my back!" beamed Tails as Sonic was leaving to the door.

"I think we will be be busy for today Sonic so do you think that Sally will be free to spend time with you?" Nicole asked Sonic and he just sighed as he shook his head.

"She is busy with that private tutoring junk at the palace and Thrash isn't available since Knuckles took him to Albion to have a spar. Don't worry; I will see what's on the TV." Sonic said as they waved him goodbye and he ran to his home and picked up the remote to do some channel surfing:

Sonic then heard a knock on the door and then answered it and found to his shock that there was a taller grinning chicken Mobian with ared mohawk and a grey robotic suit covering his upper body and left his mohawk, yellow legs and beak exposed.

"Well; if I wanted something to happen then beggars can't be choosers..." Sonic asked as he stared at his chicken.

"Surprised to find me here Sonic? Your old nemesis Scratch!" asked the chicken with an evil grin but Sonic just stared at him confused. "Don' you remember me? You beat me up a lot when we were growing up?" Scratched asked incredulous but Sonic shook his head.

"I beat up a lot of bullies growing up so you should be more specific." Sonic answered and Scratch glared at him harshly.

Scratch took a deep breath and said "fine; I will give you my story..."

"My parents ran out of Mobotropolis leaving me behind when the guards got wind of them running an insurance scam; hoping to raise enough to escape the Kingdom while thinking that losing to the United Federation was inevitable. I had built a reputation as the meanest and baddest badass on the streets who all the youths feared but then you came to spoil my fun..."

"That's the best that you can do Scratch? If you want to join our gang then you need to do better!" muttered a youth street gang leader shaking his head as Scratch had taken a toy off a toddler and keeping it out of reach to the crying child but then Sonic came and pushed him back with the street gang running away scared. Scratch ended up being pushed into a trashcan and watched in anger as Sonic kneeled down at the child and smiled as he gave her toy back.

"No matter what I did; you always bested me and I decided to leave and try and find my parents. I ended up at Central City in the United Federation and I learned the news of what happened on the ten years of peace celebration and how you my nemesis was being hailed as a superhero! I wanted to correct this and came the day that changed my life forever. You see I had built up a lucrative criminal entreprise but I ended up getting caught..."

"Package thief! If that is my foot massager then you had better hope that it's not broken!" shouted a large muscular man chasing a panicking Scratch holding a stolen package and Scratch ended up crashing into people at a mover's van and had a piano fall onto him.

"Every bone in my upper body was broken and my spine; I was lucky to be alive... I was brought to a hospital but some shady doctors saw that I had no official record and I was taken away... You see he had been a member of an anti-Mobian cell and they were having disgraced former GUN scientists work on creating cyborg soldiers. I was their first successful test subject and I heard them claiming that they thought that an army that could take down Robotnik would impress the public to get them on their side. My strength and speed's tests were incredible but a fire broke out and the entire complex was destroyed with me as the only survivor with no evidence left. Luckily the security were idiots..."

A group of guards were together at nearby important equipment including the controls to the prison pod for Scratch. "There is no way..." said one of them.

"I can totally beat 5 extra sauce triple chilli burgers at once!" said another and brought out the 5 burgers but the sauce got into the machinery and a fire broke out.

"I escaped and spent all of my time training my new power and now I am more machine than Mobian and unstoppable! I shall be the one to defeat the great hero Sonic the Hedgehog!" Scratch gloated as Sonic yawned.

"Your story was fascinating and everything but are you going to do anything now?" Sonic asked as Scratch tackled him but a Spin Dash sent him flying screaming and landed in a lake causing him to short circuit.

Scratch was groaning in pain as he was fished out of the lake and being overseen by Tails and Nicole; "Okay; before I ask for an explanation... Do you know who ths is Sonic?" Tails asked as Sonic shook his head.

"Forgot his name already but he did help me waste some time..." Sonic answered.

Yep made Scratch into a Mobian turned cyborg.
