My name is Marinette, a normal girl with a normal life. If you call being a superhero and aspiring designer normal. So not normal at all. I am also known as Ladybug, wielder of the Ladybug Miraculous. I have a team of heroes supporting me, the Miraculous Alliance, and we keep Paris and the rest of the world safe. It has been ten years since we defeated Hawkmoth, Latombe, Mahamayuri.
Life has gone on. We are acting as heroes still, but we also all have become adults with our own lives and families, dreams and aspirations we managed to largely fulfill in spite of or perhaps our life as Miraculous wielders.
I myself, I tied the knot with Adrien. He and I, were always partners, through and through. As heroes…as friends, and now as lovers. Miraculous or not, my kitty always had my heart.
We cut to the scene of a wedding. Tom had given away Marinette and she looked beautiful in her white wedding dress, her hair up in a bun. Adrien was dapper in his tuxedo. There were few dry eyes in the audience as family, friends and allies alike attended.
A little girl came with a pillow bearing the wedding rings. She had similar blonde hair and green eyes to Adrien and Emilie. Once the rings were handed over, she went back to Emilie and Greg, whom had already been married several years before. And had little Luce, whom just handed the newlywed pair their rings. Alya was by Marinette's side as maid of honor and Nino as best men by Adrien's side. When those two would marry as well, it was certain Marinette and Adrien would become maid of honor and best man for them in return.
There was a deep kiss once the priest gave the ok and everyone cheered loudly. It was quickly followed by a bouquet toss where all the girls soon started fighting over it and knocked everyone to the ground. It ironically ended up in the hands of the one person whom hadn't joined in to fight over the bouquet, Juleka, whom just looks confused at the flowers in her hands. Rose squealed as she got from under the dogpile and cuddled her girlfriend.
Adrien never took a modeling gig again in his life. He still had a trust fund set by the Gabriel branch before it went under. He did some investments he could live off so he could focus on his dream. The youth center, the home for lost kids or kids whom didn't have a true home to come to, became a reality. The former Agreste mansion, served well. Formerly a lair of evil and a prison, changed to be place for good and for kids to get a freedom and belonging.
The mansion has been redesigned completely. Vibrant positive colors instead of sterile white. Different rooms and places were repurposed into hobby rooms so that each of the kids going there could discover what they liked and think about what their future would bring.
He welcome a group of new kids warmly. They looked nervous being here, having come from bad homes but…something about Adrien, and the colorful redesigned mansion made them feel welcome. And they managed a soft smile.
I myself am more of the career woman. With Gabriel gone, Tsurugi industries had taken it over and held onto it, so that the innocent employees still had a job. But she only kept it long enough until I was able to establish my fashion label, MDC Designs, from its remains. And it became a success
Marinette was at a Fashion gala where she presented a series of suits and dresses modeled after the Miraculous themselves, people awed and cheered when the models showed them off. After all this time, despite her confidence, had remained humble.
Our friends our doing well too. Alya got the dream of becoming a true reporter. Still manages a lot of blogs on the side, including the Miracle Blog.
At her fashion show, it was Alya Césaire whom interviewed her bestie Marinette and making sure she got the recognition she deserved.
Nino is mostly focusing on his DJ career. But he and Emilie are also owners of an indie movie studio. They decided to remain indie to escape the cutthroat movie industry in the professional circuit, and they mostly do it for passion and fun.
We see Nino at the same fashion show, taking care of the music and atmosphere, giving Marinette a thumbs up.
We cut to another scene where Nino was directing another movie, with Emilie hamming up her performance in tacky clothing, as the cheesiness and camp would add charm to the movie.
They also work with André Bourgeois. Who knew he originally directed Emilie's movie Solitude? Having stepped down as Mayor and having left his hotel to be managed by underlings, he took on his old passion again. Something that being with Audrey had taken away from him. He is happy.
Chloé herself did major in business. After being mentored by Penny Rolling she would be employed by their record label, officially taking over after Penny's retirement as its CEO.
Chloé and a crew were in a recording studio, as Luka was doing a guitar solo and a song, and after it was successfully recorded, he blew a kiss at Chloé whom rolled her eyes and blew a kiss back.
She married Luka. While Kitty Section eventually all went their own way and different careers, Luka went solo as a musician, but at times Kitty Section comes back together again to perform on special occasions.
Luka also learned Jagged was his bio-dad. Jagged never knew and Anarka had kept it from him. In no small part thanks to the manipulations of Bob Roth…if he wasn't already in jail they'd have gone out and kick the crud out of them. At least they are able to be amicable upon figuring it out. But Jagged is now married to Penny and sort of a good stepmother to the Couffaine siblings.
We see Jagged Stone and Luka doing a duet during a performance, Penny and Chloé looking on fondly from the sidelines.
Juleka herself has become one of my top models, as well as doing a youtube channel for make up tutorials. Most of her former shyness was gone thanks to the confidence gained from being a hero and having Rose by her side. I can relate to that.
We cut back to the fashion show while Juleka showed off a Tigresse-inspired dress. Thanks to the glamour magic of the Miraculous, no one connected the dots.
Rose and Mylene founded a charity organization. Nature, kids…anything to help. Thanks to investments made by their successful friends and classmates, as well as an endorsement from Prince Ali of Achu, they're doing well. Rose also does some songwriting and Mylene some acting for Emilie's indie movie company on the side.
Rose, Mylene and Prince Ali were posing in front of a children's hospital with several kids and staff for the cameras, another article about their charity rally would certainly make the headlines.
Rose is married to Juleka of course, and Mylene to Ivan. Ivan has discovered a penchant for poetry, but he writes under an alias, for a big guy he can be quite shy.
Ivan was done writing on his laptop, as he closed it, sat down next to his wife on the couch, both wrapping themselves in a blanket, and enjoy a movie on tv together with snacks and drinks.
Several of our team made it to the Olympics, with Kim and Ondine breaking through in the swimming circuit, and Kagami in the fencing circuit. After a good career, they would retire, with Kim and Ondine becoming swimming coaches and Kagami taking over Tsurugi Industries' French branch.
We cut to Kim and Ondine, both teaching their swimming classes.
Kagami was talking business deal with Marinette, the two smiling and shaking hands on a well made deal.
Nathaniel and Marc's Miraculous comic became a success, having been growing strong and on top of the comic book charts for years. They also made a few other heroes which becomes part of a shared comic book universe. Plans for films and series about their comics are on the table in the future. They're married as well, partners in both business and personal life.
Marc and Nathaniel were doing a comic book signing at a convention, the people whom got their comic books signed acting excited, and sometimes asking them to rate their drawings or short stories. The two would give helpful critique and encourage them.
Max has made it as an inventor and a video game designer. He is still dating Sabrina, whom is a Private Investigator. They haven't tied the knot yet but they may do it soon.
Max is doing a new presentation for a new type of drone. We see Vincent Legrande among Max's crew as well, and Markov in now a humanoid 'adult' form standing besides him.
Sabrina is typing away at her computer, comparing two bits of evidence, as she came to a conclusion. She grabbed her coat and went out to present her solved case.
Lila threw herself in her soccer passion, briefly moving back to Italy to become part of the national woman's soccer team before becoming a coach.
We see Lila taking the ball away from her opponent before kicking it hard and scoring a goal. Her teammates tackled her in the ground in excitement for the perfect goal.
Aurore has gone from the weathergirl to the weather woman on the French National News segment. Her husband Jean Duparc is a famed magician.
We see a news broadcast where Aurore is doing her weather report.
We cut to a magic show where Jean was performing a trick where it appeared he was phasing his arm through a glass wall without breaking it.
Lysander has managed to become a comedian in his own right. His uncle and the Gorilla are now married, and hence we often see him at the family reunion.
Lysander was doing his standup routine, and the people were laughing at his jokes.
Nia has followed in her late father's footsteps as an adventurer. Whenever she is out there, she uses her own expertise to find some Miraculous that haven't been found or retrieved yet. While she is on the road a lot, she hops by in Paris whenever she can to see her new family, the Lahiffes.
Nia had been digging in some ruins, and managed to dig up an old box. It has a familiar symbol of the Guardians. She wiped the dirt off, opened it and bright lights came out and manifested into a few kwamis…
Reece and Scott returned to the UK, where they'd establish a British Miraculous teams. They also have founded their own indie movie studio not unlike Emilie and Nino.
Kiva did the same in the Benelux after returning to Belgium. But outside of his Miraculous duties he chooses a quiet life, a simple office job and writing poems and short stories under an alias.
The Miraculous team put up a zoom call, and Reece, Scott and Kiva all greeted the rest of the Miraculous team heroes amicably and start catching up.
Nathalie has worked up her debts to society but continued to be part of the Agency, as she feels that she can make the biggest difference here. Also so that she can provide me and Adrien with the best support she can manage.
Allegra handed a document to Nathalie that proved she was free to go. Nathalie crumpled the paper into a ball, put it in the wastebin and saluted Allegra. She became amused and handed Nathalie her badge back. Nathalie smiled and nodded, as Allegra handed her a new file for her next assignment.
And it is not just only us doing the work. With the Miraculous team bringing magic and superheroes out in the open, forgotten or hidden superheroes felt emboldened to go back into the spotlight. But that also meant that supervillains got the same idea. But since we got the heroes looking out for the innocent and fight for justice, they won't win.
There was a mass outbreak at the supervillain prison that had previously held all these scoundrels for decades. But now they finally found a way out, and were literally parading down the street, celebrating their freedom and the chaos they caused. Ignoblia, Techno-pirate, Kwami Hunter and more, all free to terrorize the populace.
However, they were stopped in their tracks, as a whole group of heroes appeared. While long ago their identities had been compromised and they went into hiding, they were still prepared to step up and fight evil if it were to rise again. And it did.
Majestia, Knightowl, Victory, Sparrow, Doorman, Uncanny Valley and more stood to oppose the villain group.
The villains were startled for a few moments but Ignoblia, leading the villain team pointed at the heroes and called them to charge. Hence the villains did, charging in, as the heroes charged at them in return.
Other heroes rise up in the world. In New York, the city is haunted by ghost, but a trio of heroes with ghostly abilities themselves fly towards them.
In another part of New York, a coven of witches were doing damage with their dark magic, but a heroine in pink with fairy wings that make her look like a pixie, glowed and was determined to fight them.
In the jungles of Africa, a young woman has inherited the power passed down in her family, becoming the monarch and the protector of her home. She let out a lion-like roar as she confronted a giant snake monster.
In shanghai, the city was shaken up by an invasion of Jiangshi (Chinese Vampire) whom menacingly hopped around and terrorized the people, eager to drain their life force. However, a superhero girl in a red outfit confronted them. The Chinese vampires laughed as she was alone and there were hundreds of them, they didn't laugh when the girl transformed into an actual dragon. The Jiangshi fled as fast as they could hopping as in her dragon form, the heroine blasted them down.
A portal opened and a flying ghost ship came out, filled with a skeleton crew. And that is not hyperbole, the whole crew were living skeletons, with a golden skeleton as their captain. However, a portal opened and another more heroic crew came out. A young man, a sentient sword with a skull face, an Atlantean princess, a viking warrior, a ghost boy, an alien in a robot suit and the ship itself being fully sentient, they were a crew of seven whom were not to be trifled with.
In London, a female magical spy and their sister were overlooking the city from atop of the Big Ben. They saw a weaponized airship flying over London, its owner intending to take over. Both magical spy sisters pulled out grapples and prepared to board the airship and stop its crew.
And while our crew is already pretty big and successful, none of is going to be around together, and so we prepare the next generation for what is to come, so that this world will never be unprotected.
The Temple of the Guardians has been rebuilt, but it not only has been modernized, it now sports a new symbol. New Guardians, new ways, ever evolving and not restricted or corrupted by the conversative and greedy members like long ago. This was a newer, better generation.
An older Ladybug and Chat Noir welcomed the students. An older Manon Chamak, Chris Lahiffe, and Ella and Etta Cesaire could be seen among them. They all intensely listen to the heroes' speech. All the students felt inspired and had an intense look in their eyes.
The heroes also scanned the crowd of students they had taken in. And their eyes lingered a bit longer on two students they found in the streets of Shanghai, and they looked quite familiar somehow. A young, kind and humble boy and a sassy and moody sister.
To protect this world, so our children can live in a time of peace. Or that they can face the trials ahead with everything that we've learned them.
We cut to a birthday party for a pair of twin children. A boy dark blue hair and green eyes, and a blonde girl with baby blue eyes. Marinette and Adrien brought cake and presents to their twin son and daughter, Hugo and Emma. Their Aunts Luce, Alya and Chloé, uncles Nino and Luka, grandparents Tom, Sabine, Greg and Emilie and many of their friends (among them the children of the other wielders) were among them.
Then suddenly the party mood was interrupted by a booming sound. They checked the news and an army of orcs have crossed the barriers and started to rampage. Marinette and Adrien looked at each other an nodded. They brought out tiny present, tiny boxes with bows on them. The two kids eyes widened as they took it an eyed their parents. Marinette and Adrien gave them a warm smile and nod, a sign that they trusted them.
Hugo and Emma opened the boxes and in a flash of light, a Wyvern and Polar Bear Kwami came out. The two looked in delight at the two little creatures, whom cuddled up with them. They put the jewels on and looked at their parents and extended family.
In a flash of light, Ladybug and Chat Noir stood there, with most of the French Miraculous hero team. And Hugo and Emma had joined, the former as a Wyvern themed hero, the latter as an ice-themed heroine. Among the crowd, several of the other kids had also transformed. They looked ready and excited. Chat Noir and Ladybug pointed in the distance, the sign that the rest of the heroes needed. Two generations of heroes rushed in, to defeat the invading army.
While the world always needs heroes, as evil cannot be destroyed, only stopped…I am still hopeful towards the future. Because the support I've been given in my life, the lessons I've learned, the friends I've made, the family I have…it motivates me, makes me better, stronger.
The future is looking bright. It looks…Miraculous.

With this, the fanfic and series as a whole has come to an end.
While the Miraculous tv series has been going downhill and my interest waned, I intended to finish this fic, after a streak of works I never finished I wanted to do this.
I am taking a break now. One day I may return to Miraculous works as despite the quality of the show I loved to write works where the characters were done justice. And I worked on this for the last few years so i can't deny Miraculous has been a huge part of my life. But there are other works to focus on for now. I don't know when or if, but maybe Miraculous works will return again in my gallery. Just not sure in which shape or form.
I haven't watched the movie, but I may in the future since they say it's better then the series, but I won't do that in the near future and I don't think the movie will just up and vanish right away. I can take the time for it.
