The group of six met at a very remote place that was still accessible to the public. With Ace's money, they were able to rent out an entire restaurant for the day.
"So has everyone processed what they just learned, yesterday?" Win questioned. "I will be honest, I didn't know him much, but I was still paired with him for a very short time. I have to say I prefer him over Mary."
"A lot of us would prefer him over Morio-san." Neon huffed.
"I will be honest, as you all know, I was dead when all of you joined the Desire Grand Prix, and this idiot's motivation because Riders were the root cause of why I was killed."
"Doesn't mean he had to kill my brother for it." Sara murmured to herself.
"No, he didn't, but I hold no attachment to Keiwa-san like the rest of everyone here, it'd be disrespectful if I suddenly act attached and affected, in light of that, I hope that you can get past the fact that some of my words may seem insensitive."
"That's fair," Sara nodded. "I'm guessing it's the same for Buffalo-san as well?"
"Yeah, got a problem with that?"
"Regardless of how we feel, what now?" Neon looked at Ace for answers.
"Yeah, what now?" Michinaga questioned. "We know what happened to him and how we're living in his world, what now?"
"Do you just hate my brother that much?" Sara asked.
"Yeah, that's right, I hated his naïve ass." Michinaga fired back. "How he goes on and on and on about how he's going to save everyone, to protect everyone? I hated that."
"And yet, you still helped him." Ace pointed out. "Tyco-Keiwa was naïve, or maybe he wasn't."
"What do you mean?" Neon asked.
"He saw firsthand how the world reset happens and I think that gave him some form of hope and abandoned his newfound cynicism when he was faced with a world-shattering scene."
"Newfound cynicism?"
"He was cynical for a brief moment?" Toru questioned.
"I… I think I know where that would come from." Sara bit her lip. "Remember the soba shop where we first met?"
"What about him?"
"Keiwa saw him die the first time," Sara revealed. "Keiwa and I were having lunch there and the Jamar area formed in between us, trapping him inside."
"The second time it's happened to you…"
"He literally ran for his life after he knew I was safe." Sara continued with her story.
"Then we met right after that." Neon finished the story.
"Keiwa can be very stubborn once he believes in something, as we all saw it." Ace stated.
"He's had it since he was a kid apparently," Neon added. "Especially if it's something really personal to him."
"Like learning that his parents became casualties in a DGP game." Ace nodded.
"I don't see how learning Tycoon might not be as naïve as we all thought helps us with our current situation," Michinaga growled. "He's still dead, we have no wishes to revive him, nothing."
"Closure and healing." Neon hummed. "I think knowing this information would give us closure and healing."
"I… I don't think I can accept this reality, Neon-chan," Sara shook her head as tears welled up in her eyes. "I lost my brother three times already… I don't think knowing how he… would give me closure."
"Everyone here hasn't done that to themselves, barring Togetchi of course," Win stated. "Ace was still hurting the second time he lost kaa-chan, Buffa didn't even grieve for Togetchi's death, and it's clear Tycoon still had more healing to do after his parents died and it got worse when he thought his sister died."
"He can be good at masking his feelings, Keiwa has." Sara sighed.
"Of everyone here, Hakubi has gone through all five stages of grief, although I can understand how losing someone over and over again can break someone." Win nodded.
"So what?" Michinaga raised an eyebrow. "Like I said, we have no more wishes we can grant to revive him."
"There is one…" Ace hummed. "Although, I don't think I have enough control of this reality rewriting powers."
"And what or who will you sacrifice?" Michinaga asked. "Tycoon wouldn't be happy if he knew he came back at the expense of another."
"What do you mean?"
"Tycoon got angry upon knowing that his supporter made a deal with Beroba to revive him," Michinaga stated. "And his supporter was reveling in Tycoon's anger like how Beroba reveled in the misery of people."
"How cruel." Neon stated his distaste.
"But that anger wasn't what did Kekera in." Michinaga continued his tale. "What really set Tycoon off was knowing how, on top of the sacrifice for him to be revived, his sister was another sacrifice to get himself the ideal Kamen Rider."
"That's where the 'Sara-san is dead' wail was coming from then?"
"This was after you went missing for one night."
"Went missi- I was stranded work!" Sara exclaimed. "Somehow something barricaded my workplace preventing any of us from leaving."
"Kekera made Tycoon think he killed you." Michinaga clicked his tongue. "He went on and on about how he had disposed of the body like it was nothing, how you didn't put up a fight even after becoming a Kamen Rider for a short while."
"I think I would have gone berserk if that happened to me." Toru commented.
"So would I." Win nodded.
"And that's how Kekera died, bisected by an angry Tycoon." Michinaga smirked as he ended his tale.
"What does that have to do with him not being pleased with being resurrected using my reality-rewriting powers?" Ace raised an eyebrow.
"He won't kill you for that, he'd just be pissed at you." Michinaga shrugged.
"That is a fair assessment." Ace nodded
"Just accept it, he's dead." Michinaga addressed everyone in the group. "The sooner you can accept that fact, the sooner you can be happy like he wishes all of you to be."
"That is easy for you to say, considering you've got your boyfriend back." Sara snarled.
"What did you say?!"
"You heard what I said!"
"Okay, both of you need to calm down!" Neon exclaimed as she stood up. "Michinaga, you know full well that Sara-san has been trying to move on his brother's death for years, and you say she needs to it hurry up? That's callous even for you."
"Sara-san, I know losing Keiwa might make it difficult to find happiness again, but I implore you to try, you have your parents now, they can help you," Neon offered. "And you have some of us as well."
"I will try, Neon-chan."
As everyone slept in the night, a lone card located somewhere glowed yellow as multiple bells tolled.
