This is Chapter 7 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 7: World of Pride and Control
Breathing calmly, Tsukasa is sipping on the warm coffee, enjoying its flavor and taste.
''Good coffee.'' He comments to Natsumi who made it with a smile. ''Thought you would like it.''
He did, taking another sip. Tsukasa looks at her, drinking on hers next to him on the table.
''Natsumikan…'' He begins to say if either she's okay or maybe she should stay back in the next world, still remembering the words the evil Dai-Shocker professor said. Why would he care to mention her? She isn't part of his fight against Dark Decade. So why? Still, he doesn't want to worry her so he takes back his words. ''Never mind, nothing.''
Natsumi leans her head to the left, very puzzled. He seems concerned for her. She was about to ask him but then she's interrupted by Dragonic, roaring passionately at the food she made.
''The food was fantastic! The curry has the best mixture of spices!'' Dragonic expresses joyfully, licking his lips as he takes a mix bite of curry and rice. ''And your love for rice made it better!''
''Absol!'' Layla barks, taking a bite of her lunch as well as Jigglypuff. ''Jiggly!''
Natsumi giggles, seeing them happy with the meals she's prepared thanks to Dragonic's teachings.
''They're happy for the Poké meals you made them.'' Dragonic compliments Natsumi's cooking especially for the two Pokémon. Natsumi giggles, praising him. ''It was thanks to you teaching for me how to cook their food.''
Dragonic oddly grins, happy to help.
Sougo watches them and smiles, telling them. ''You guys are like a family.''
Natsumi blushes red because of that, always thinking they are a family. Dragonic doesn't say a word, almost looking sad for other reasons while Tsukasa tells him. ''You assume too much.''
''Maybe but that's how I see it.'' Sougo says with a smile before he sounds rather somber. ''You should all enjoy these tiny moments.'' He then adds with a happier tone. ''They're special and easy to mess out on.''
Tsukasa raises an eyebrow in his last sentence. He sounded… off. Before he could ask, the studio shook once, confirming they had arrived in the next world.
''Oh ho, guess we're here smoosh~!'' Kiva-la coos excitedly, flying around the ceiling. Natsumi turns to Dragonic and asks him. ''So what world are we in?''
The dragon floats to the back of the studio to the backdrop. It shows the image of a tree that grows dangling Lockseeds and has a male hand reaching for an orange Lockseeds.
''This is the World of the Gaim! A world that nobility isn't dead yet but of choices and responsibilities.'' Dragonic explains to the group with a smirk as he flies outside. The others follow and they all find themselves in the large, plain grasslands of a younger Japan.
''Oh! This is Feudal Era Japan!'' Natsumi utters, recognizing the landscape. Dragonic nods as Tsukasa theorizes. ''It seems in this A.R. World, the riders known as Armored Riders are Lords of their own land across Japan and are in a state of war among each other to protect their people and power.''
Natsumi eyes him and startles. He's wearing a "pink" kimono, samurai outfit with some armor and a Japanese straw hat over his head. He's also carrying a samurai katana on his waist.
''Um… nice outfit?'' She utters, astonished as it looks better than the outfit he wore in the A.R. World of Hibiki. Tsukasa looks at himself and hums, admitting the same.
''Seems Tsukasa in this world is a Ronin.'' Sougo informs the group with Dragonic nodding. Natsumi blinks, recalling that a ronin was a warrior: A samurai without a lord or master, who traveled the country offering his service to anyone in need of a sword to hire. She widens her eyes, gasping for realization. ''That actually makes sense for Tsukasa-kun!''
Tsukasa smirks, also agreeing on that. He reaches in his kimono and pulls out a scroll. He reads it, realizing what his goal is here.
''Apparently, Lord Gaim has declare a peace treaty with the other Lords to end their fighting.'' Tsukasa begins to read the scroll to the group. ''And someone wants the lord dead. An assassination was attempted on his life.''
Natsumi gasps as that's bad. If a lord dies during this era… well it would be bad depending who died.
''So…'' Dragonic begins to say with a grin towards Tsukasa who smirks and proclaims cockiness. ''Seems today, I'm the peaceful destroyer who will save a pacifist lord.'' He checks the scroll again and proclaims. ''I'm costing him extra for my services.''
Natsumi and Layla sweat drop as she mutters with a sigh. ''Of course…''
Just then they spot almost fire in the horizon. No doubt that's where they'll have to go.
''Let's go.'' Tsukasa declares, running over there. The others run right behind him, unaware Daiki is observing them with Selina eating a fish-shaped cookie. He smirks, also getting a clue where the treasure of this world will be.
Tsukasa and the others arrive up on a hill, watching as a battle is going on. Seemingly a normal fight between samurais but clearly there's those wearing Rider-like armor. Guess this was the spot as he advances to a few soldiers who spot them and block their path.
''Who goes there by the name of Lord Gaim!'' Both men demand firmly, not going to let any be near their lord. Tsukasa smirks as he announces himself. ''I'm here to see your lord.'' He holds up the scroll.
The foot soldier looks at the scroll, realizing he came to help them. To think a Ronin came to their aid but a tad too late.
''This is a bad time. The Baron Army made a move to attack our defenses after Lord Gaim stopped his assassination.'' One of the men informs him as Tsukasa just smirks again, meaning he can display the powers he has.
''Well funny coincidence; I'm here to help him and this is the perfect chance to show my skills.'' He proclaims, strapping on the Decadriver as he twirls his wrist and a Rider Card appears out of nowhere in between his fingers.
''Henshin.'' Tsukasa declares, tossing the card downward and slides perfectly inside the card inserter of the Decadriver.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa pushes the levers forward and then wipes his hands together, instantly transforming into his rider form. ''DECADE!''
The men gasp as he turns into an Armored Rider. Decade then snaps his fingers as leaping out of nowhere is a black stallion horse stopping before the rider. Decade hops on his back, pulling on its rope as the horse yelps strongly.
''Where did you get that horse?!'' Natsumi utters in shock while Layla widens her eyes in surprise too.
Decade just snickers before he rides the horse at top speed towards the battlefield. He rides around many troopers, moving like the literal wind before any saw or felt him coming.
''Who the hell is that?'' One of the Gaim soldiers question, extremely surprised before he's slashed by a Baron captain who proclaims cockily. ''The fool is charging at us all-''
Decade quickly pulls a Rider Card and thrusts it into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! ILLUSION!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade and his horse multiply into 5 and begins firing multiple shots across the Baron Army with the Ride Booker, shooting them down but not to kill.
''He's an Armored Rider?!'' The Baron captain shouts in horror but then he's shot by Decade who leaps off his horse, flipping the Ride Booker into sword form and slashes down the enemy forces. They try to slash him but Decade reflects and slashes them back with ease. They fall apart with ease.
Decade wipes the back of his sword, chuckling before he turns and charges through his own soldiers is Kamen Rider Baron, riding on his horse as he snarls irritated.
''Stand aside!'' Baron proclaims, jumping off his horse and charges right at Decade by thrusting his spear. Decade easily evades to the right, missing the spear. Decade then swings his sword under the spear, pushing it upward as he swings at his exposed chest. Sparks fly out as Baron is pushed back, grunting but he still charges at him. He performs multiple thrusting strikes that Decade manages to repel and parry each one of them with such reflex that the last counter parries Baron backwards.
Baron growls as he twirls the knife lever of his Sengoku Driver multiple times as the spear glows brightly and gains a banana aura outline. He thrusts it only for Decade to dunk a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to say as a magenta colored barrier forms and blocks Baron's attack. ''BARRIER!'' The barrier's reflection soon reflects Baron's own attack and pushes him back.
Decade wipes the back of his sword, proclaiming in a taunt. ''So you must be one of those lords. I was expecting more honestly.''
''Bastard.'' Baron utters angrily, coming at him again but Decade easily reflects and slashes the Armored Rider again, sparks flying out across him.
''Try to challenge me, banana.'' Decade continues taunting his foe, only enraging Baron more.
Natsumi and the others watch with Layla barking sweat dropping by his very un-honorable method. ''Absol-Absol.''
''He's no Last Samurai indeed.'' Dragonic proclaims with his arms crossed. Natsumi sweat drops, also agreeing with them.
''Kinda reckless he's fighting alone.'' She blinks, turning to her side to see a man in a Feudal farmer robes with an orange colored straw hat. The man then laughs kindly, showing he's a rather young man, expressing happiness. ''Oh hello! I'm a farmer!''
''I-I can see that.'' Natsumi utters, reminded of Shoichi and his vegetables. The man then hands her an orange, blushing as she accepts it happily.
''It seems your friend is engaging a lord and not just him either.'' The fruit seller says while Natsumi blinks, puzzled.
Decade and Baron still engage, clashing more as sparks fly out between their weapons.
''Is that all you got?'' Decade still mocks Baron as they push backwards. It's clear that Decade has a huge advantage but things would change as explosions appear from behind them.
''Hmm?'' Decade turns around as Baron grunts, backing away as it's them.
''GRAPE! MELON!'' Two different voices are announced followed by a single voice. ''LOCK ON!'' Two figures approach them as they twirl the knife levers of their drivers. ''COME ON! / OKAY!''
''GRAPE ARMS!'' One of the voices announces that the youngest figure has become Ryugen.
''SOIYA! MELON ARMS!'' Another voice announces as the oldest figure becomes Zangetsu.
''Just my luck.'' Decade mutters just as Ryugen begins firing with his grape-like gun with rapid fire shots. The magenta-colored rider blocks and parries the shots, leaping away as Zangetsu leaps at him, swinging his blade. Decade clashes his swing with his own, pushing each other back but not before being unloaded by Zangetsu's shield machine gun. Sparks fly out across Decade before he crashes onto the ground.
Decade manages to land on his feet, panting as he's going to need more help as Baron tries to stab him but he leaps away to evade him.
''Sougo!'' Decade shouts for Sougo who nods, shouting. ''Got it!'' He runs down on the hill, twirling his Ridewatch as it announces. ''ZI-O!''
He thrusts it onto the left slot of his Ziku Driver, twirling it as he leaps off his feet.
''Henshin!'' Sougo shouts, doing a Rider Kick as the large clock face manifests from behind him.
''RIDER TIME!'' The Ziku Driver announces as Sougo begins to transform. ''KAMEN RIDER~! ZI-O~!'' Descending rapidly with a kick that hits and explodes onto Ryugen's back is Zi-O. He wields the Zikan Girade, dashing at Zangetsu who blocks with his shield just as Zi-O slashes him and pushes him back. This is enough to distance him from Decade as the two fellow Riders have the others' back.
''Even a Ronin can't fight alone.'' Zi-O proclaims with Decade snickering. ''Good point.''
The two gaze at their enemies as Ryugen fires at them again. Both Decade and Zi-O zig-zag around the shots.
''I'll handle those two Tsukasa!'' Zi-O tells Decade who nods, charging right at Baron who tries to thrust his spear at him and he evades it.
''GRAPE SQUASH!'' Ryugen fires multiple purple, grape-shaped blasts that Zi-O times and dodges them while he slides his Ridewatch into the slot of his Zikan Girade. As he dodges the last shot, Zangetsu comes out of nowhere.
''MELON SQUASH!'' Zangetsu swings his blade at Zi-O but he times it, pressing the trigger of the Zikan Girade.
''TIME CHARGE GO!'' The Zikan Girade announces as time freezes in place. Zi-O moves past the frozen time, moving around Zangetsu's attack and gets behind the two.
''FINISH TIME!'' The Zikan Girade announces as Zi-O presses the trigger. ''ZI-O! GIRI GIRI SLASH!'' The weapon announces as Zi-O swings the sword and unleashes a powerful energy slash. The attack hits both Ryugen and Zangetsu and explodes on impact.
Decade clashes against Baron again as he backs away fast.
''Time to even the odds." Decade proclaims, holding up a Rider Card and dunks it into his belt.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade begins to transform into... ''SKYRIDER!'' Decade-Skyrider suddenly leaps up and soars up in the sky at high speed.
Baron grunts as he orders his men to shoot him down. Baron's Rider soldiers fire energy arrows from their high-tech bows while the regular soldiers fire from their regular bows with regular arrows. Decade-Skyrider easily dodges around the arrows in the sky as he dunks a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! ILLUSION!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade flies into the shine of the sun and then diving down at the enemy forces are multiple Decade-Skyriders who bashes their fists or kicks. The Baron Soldiers scream as they're all thrash around and fall hard onto the ground.
Baron growls as he twirls the knife lever onto his Lockseed multiple times.
''BANANA SQUASH!'' The driver announces as a yellow aura forms around his spear in the shape of a Banana. He leaps at the illusions, managing to slash one copy down but Decade dunks a Rider Card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! INVISIBLE!'' The Decadriver announces as the remaining Decade-Skyriders turn invisible. Baron panics, looking around before he's suddenly bash on one side then the other and then launched upward and then kicked across the face as he crashes into the ground.
Decade reverts back, landing on the ground as his copies also vanished. He looks down at the damaged Baron, taunting him. ''Is that it? You done?''
Baron growls, trying to pull himself up but before he can, an explosion appears behind them.
''Halt!'' Dashing through the explosion is the Armored Rider, Gaim, breathing heavily. He had to go through all of Baron's forces to reach here as he stares at the unknown rider, never seeing him before and how he doesn't look like an Armored Rider. Is he from another land?
''You must be the Naive Gaim, I assumed.'' Decade questions him calmly, able to tell by his presence and how he's not attacking him.
''I-I am.'' Gaim responds calmly. ''Who are you?''
Pointing his finger at him, Decade responds in his usual, slightly alt catchphrase. ''A passing-through Ronin Rider. Remember it. And I came to help you end this pointless fighting.''
Gaim is surprised. He actually got someone who wishes to help-
''You're still as naïve as always!'' The two riders turn towards Baron, standing back up pretty bruised up.
''What you want can never be achieved! Only power can maintain the order of this world!'' Baron shouts at the orange theme rider, mocking his goal before he's forced to retreat. Ryugen and Zangetsu see this and take this chance to leave before the green rider stares at Gaim, squeezing his hand into a fist.
Gaim doesn't say a word, almost feeling defeated.
''Harsh. Sore loser, he is.'' Decade calls out at Baron's weak words. Gaim shakes his head, protesting. ''No, he's somewhat right.''
Decade looks at him, wondering what he means by that.
''Anyway, we should talk in private within my fort.'' Gaim tells him, changing subject with Decade agreeing. ''Gladly. Let me tell my comrades of this.''
Gaim accepts as he walks away to check on his men. Decade changes back as Tsukasa eyes Sougo who approaches him smiling. The two went to meet the others and Tsukasa stares at the unknown, new face he's looking at.
''And who's this?'' He questions with his arms crossed as the fruit seller answers him with a big smile. ''I'm a farmer!''
Tsukasa just hums, also immediately thinking of Shouichi.
''Let me guess…'' He begins to question if he sells vegetables but then the farmer holds up an orange. Tsukasa raises an eyebrow, muttering. ''Orange?'' He accepts it, tossing it up and down like a baseball. The fruit farmer then pulls out a basket of different fruits to Natsumi's amazement.
''Banana? Strawberry? Apple?'' The farmer begins to ask them, pulling out each fruit and then pulls out a fresh watermelon. ''Or watermelon.''
''Gimme-Gimme-Gimme!'' Dragonic shouts excitedly, clenching his claws excitedly to eat them. Tsukasa smirks to see him so excited for fruit as he says. ''He can come along.''
The group heads out, following Gaim's army while Zangetsu and Ryugen watch from afar.
''Nii-san, what should we do?'' Ryugen asks his brother who has his arms crossed. He hums, not wanting war either. This has… gone enough but he can't simply side with either Gaim or Baron. At least not yet. And he also has his own reasons and he has a land to protect.
''Let us wait till Duke contacted us.'' Zangetsu suggests with Ryugen nods, trusting his older sibling.
The group arrives within the medium size village with a large fortress that is Gaim's shrine.
''Nice place, Naive-san.'' Tsukasa speaks up, looking around at the decoration and warlord-like design.
''That is Lord Gaim to you, Ronin!'' One of the soldiers scolds the Ronin but Tsukasa corrects him with a finger wag. ''Decade, or Tsukasa, to you.''
The soldier grunts, about to argue with him but Gaim stops him, not wanting bad blood among allies. Gaim, in his human form, is wearing a warlord's armor but helmetless and looks rather soft hearted than hard like any warlord would.
''Thank you again for accepting my request. I am honestly surprised someone I have never heard of was able to handle with your other allies against Baron, Ryugen and Zangetsu like that.'' Gaim praises Tsukasa and his comrades. Natsumi giggles, not having done much but appreciates his kind words.
''I'm a different kind of Ronin.'' Tsukasa says before he asks, noticing things about this man. ''And allow me to ask you this, Gaim: You don't act like you're a lord.''
Gaim is once more impressed by his foresight. Most mercenaries would not see through others but the job and money.
''I-I don't but I have my reasons.'' Tsukasa responds, wanting to know the gist of this world's problem.
Gaim eyes him and nods, explaining that this war among the lords has been going on for the search of the Golden Apple.
''Golden Apple?'' Natsumi asks, puzzled, causing the farmer to flinch with a frown.
''It is a forbidden fruit but the one who wields it will be the true emperor of Japan.'' Gaim explains it from his knowledge on the powerful, divine fruit. He then scowls, openly expressing. ''I don't want it. I think the fruit will cost more suffering and destruction upon being taken for any job.''
Tsukasa stares at him, able to tell he means it.
''That's why I want to unite all the lords to achieve real peace, at least to stop the constant fighting.'' Gaim then explains his motive, believing in compromise and trust rather than pursuing this fairy tale.
''And you think that's better?'' Tsukasa questions him with the warlord nodding with a saddened face. ''I have to try. I've seen too many pointless deaths.'' He soon bows his head, begging to the Ronin. ''Please, Tsukasa-san, assist me!''
''…'' Tsukasa stares at him silently, studying his body language for any deceit or lie to this but…
''If it is about payment, I-'' Gaim then questions if this is a matter of money. He has plenty to pay for his services but he just needs his-
''No.'' The warlock lifts his head, eyeing Tsukasa who smirks. ''I will help you, Naive-san. I have my own reasons too.''
This causes the warlord to smile joyfully, responding determinedly. ''Thank you! I won't fail you!''
Tsukasa nods. The warlord has to leave due to his generals needing to tell him of some findings from their scouts.
''You have a motive for this, don't you?'' Natsumi questions him. Tsukasa smirks, replying. ''Exactly Natsumikan.''
He soon becomes serious, proclaiming firmly. ''And the motive is simple: Where is Dai-Shocker?''
A day has passed as the fort has been calm… just too calm like they're in the eye of the storm. They also learn what Gaim has learned from his scouts on the other lords across the land.
''So the other rider lords have gone missing huh?'' The fruit farmer asks, eating a few grapes with Tsukasa eating a plum. ''That's what Gaim said but he doesn't know by who or what has happened to them.''
"Tsukasa-san!" Tsukasa turns to see Gaim riding in front of him on his horse. ''It's Baron and his army! It's likely he'll make another attack.''
He smirks, hoping to battle as he tosses the plum to Natsumi who catches it in a panic, nearly missing it.
''Let's go, Naive Lord!'' Tsukasa declares.
The two ride on their horses, strapping on their drivers as Gaim inserts the Orange Lockseed.
''ORANGE! LOCK ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as both riders shout. ''Henshin!'' Gaim flips the knife lever while Tsukasa thrusts in a Rider Card.
''SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as an armored orange appears over his head and slides down over his head and opens up, transforming him into his rider form.
''KAMEN RIDE! DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa also transforms into Decade.
They arrive onto the battlefield and Baron waits for them, his arms crossed with his lance stabbed into the ground in front of him. Watching from on top of a hill, both Ryugen and Zangetsu watch from above with their armies behind them.
''Baron, you come to fight again?'' Gaim asks his rival. Baron scoffs, picking up his spear and declares, pointing it at him. ''I will control your land and make it my own!'' He then eyes Decade and also says. ''And this time I will with my own Ronin.''
Decade hums, having a good feeling who he might-
''Yo, Tsukasa-san.'' Decade turns and as expected, Diend walks through Baron's men and Selina is walking beside him in a sassy, sway-hip movement. Layla sees this and growls, irritated by the cat's attitude.
''Kaito, I should have expected-'' Decade begins to say, already expecting he would show up and likely come to steal Baron's driver maybe but in that moment, Baron staggers by turning to Diend and interrupts in surprise. ''Kaito?! I thought your name is Daiki.''
Diend eyes him and snickers, responding. ''Daiki Kaito to be precise, Lord Baron.''
''...'' Baron doesn't say a word, realizing this is not the best time to even discuss such matters and orders him. ''Do as I paid you and defeat Gaim.''
Diend just snickers, twirling the Diendriver as he faces the enemy.
Decade prepares to deal with his rival but Gaim steps forward and offers him. ''Tsukasa-san, allow me. To prove my strength to you.''
''Oh?'' Diend scoffs as he immediately fires at him. Gaim easily repels the shots with both the long Musou Saber and the orange slice-shaped Daidaimaru short sword. Diend snickers at this as he loads a Rider Card into his blaster.
''ATTACK RIDE! DIEND BLAST!'' The Diendriver announces as Diend fires multiple shots while Gaim charges forward, reflecting each blast with both swords. He tries to get close, slashing the last shot only to get booted by Diend appearing right in front of him with his superior speed. The impact launches Gaim back but he stomps his right foot on the ground first and with all of his strength; he pushes himself forward at him.
Gaim combines both swords into a longer sword as he flips the knife lever multiple times.
''1-10-100-1000!'' The Sengoku Driver begins to announce as orange energy coats around the combined sword with each end covered in orange slice aura. ''ORANGE CHARGE!'' Gaim dashes at Diend and slashes him once before the wave consumes and explodes on him. Gaim turns around and to his surprise Diend emerges from the explosion, partly damaged.
''Not bad.'' Diend proclaims, wiping off the dirt of damage on him. Gaim twirls his sword and takes on a fighting pose. Diend snickers, twirling his gun as he takes aim.
Before anything else happens, multiple explosions occur across the battlefield, alarming all forces including Zangetsu and Ryugen.
''What's going on?!'' Natsumi utters in dismay. Sougo frowns, staring closely and sees the frightening Dai-Shocker minions, slashing down both Gaim and Baron's armies. ''Dai-Shocker.''
Zangetsu doesn't recognize the new army but Ryugen spots someone: Duke.
''Nii-san, is that-'' He begins to inform his brother who looks and spots them and he can't help but not like this, not one bit.
Diend looks around, not wanting to be near Dai-Shocker so he proclaims, withdrawing. ''Let's call this a tie.'' He dashes away after grabbing Selina to Gaim's confusion. ''Wait!''
''So you're Gaim.'' The Armored Rider stops and turns, staring down at Apollogeist who snickers. Gaim doesn't know this one as Decade suddenly leaps in front of Gaim, proclaiming cocky. ''Apollogeist. Not a surprise to see you here.''
''Decade. As expected.'' Apollogeist proclaims, holding forward his sword. Decade scoffs as he comes charging at him. Gaim watches, going to help out but more Dai-Shocker minions get in the way, trying to bite or claw him into pieces but he slashes them down.
Baron does the same, stabbing through one and destroying it.
''What creatures are these-'' Baron begins to question what the hell he's fighting but his words are cut off by the Diendriver's voice. ''KAMEN RIDE! KNIGHT! FEMME!''
Two energy shots fly past Baron as they become both Knight and Femme, slashing down the remaining monsters with ease. Baron turns as it is Diend. He growls at his unnecessary help, ordering him. ''I don't need your help. Go deal with Gaim like I paid you!''
Diend doesn't say a word, just staring at the rider before he suddenly raises his gun and fires multiple shots at him. Baron barely manages to deflect and block them, demanding furiously. ''What is the meaning of this?''
''Oh just that I didn't came to help you.'' Diend begins to reveal his real reasons for "allying" with the naïve warlord as both fake Riders come at him. ''I came for your powers.''
Baron swings his spear, clashing Knight's sword strike and then backs away fast from Femme's surprise slash.
''You bastard!'' He yells furiously as he flips the knife lever on his belt over his Lockseed, triggering its power.
''COME ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as his spear is surrounded in yellow energy taking on the form of a banana. ''BANANA SQUASH!''
He thrusts his spear at both Knight and Femme until his spear is suddenly disarmed by Selina using Knock Off.
''What?'' Baron utters in dismay while Selina purrs, taunting him for dropping his own weapon. ''Nyan~nyan!'' She leaps away as Diend has just thrusted a Rider Card into his gun.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Diendriver announces as both Knight and Femme become energy that sucks back inside the charging energy gun before Diend fires it, unleashing a destructive cyan energy blast. ''DIEND!''
The blast consumes and Baron screams in agony. ''GAAAWWW!'' An explosion occurs and he's sent crashing away. His Sengoku Driver drops along with the Banana Lockseed. Diend picks them up, snickering before he and Selina run away from the battlefield.
''Baron!'' Gaim shouts, seeing him falling. He slashes down the rest of the Dai-Shocker monsters and rushes over until an energy beam stabs his side rib. He gasps in agony, dropping hard on the ground.
''Always too kind huh?'' Gaim turns in pain and gasps to see it's Duke, approaching him. ''You're…''
Snickering really cruelly, Duke then mocks the damaged warlord. ''Does it still hurt, losing your beloved?''
Gaim is silent, growling enraged yet hesitant as his hands tighten.
