The Intruder
Right now the sky is covered in dark clouds. The three friends are safe inside the owl house in the living room with King. King wanted to teach the friends something but right now he is busy with something else.
Luke: I have no idea what I am watching right now.
Luz: [takes out her phone and records] And here we have the most fearsome creature in the world, the King of Demons.
Luke: Define fearsome.
Right now King is having a hard time getting a sock off that got on his nose.
Luz: Facing his natural enemy, the ducky sock!
Y/n: [sweats] How did that sock get on his nose to begin with?
Luke: I put it there.
Y/n: [looks at Luke] Why?
Luke: [shrugs his shoulders] Why not?
King: [grunting, tears the sock into pieces, then punches the remnants] Where are you now, ducky sock? [looks at Luke] How dare you put this on your king!?
Luke: Never said you were my king.
King: Oh yea [looks at baby dragon] attack him make him kneel before me!
The baby dragon just yawns and goes back to lying on the couch as it proceeds to fall asleep.
Luz: [points the camera to the baby dragon] Awww he's so cute when he's asleep.
King just grumbles.
Luke: Ok so why did you call us here again?
King: Oh yea right [jumps on the table] Human Luz and Luke, and Half human Y/n, you've been so obsessed with witchcraft that you haven't learned anything about my kind. Prepare yourself for... [rips off a curtain to reveal a corkboard of photos of various demons; puts on a hat and spins the cord on top of it] Demons 101.
Luke: Is it weird that I find this interesting?
Y/n: A little.
King: Demons like me are grim tricksters of the twilight, creatures of sulfur and bone.
Luz: [zooming in with her camera] And cute little paws.
Both Y/n and Luke tried to hold in their laugh. Keyword tried.
King: [sighs] And cute little paws. True. We live only to create chaos and misery. Our only weaknesses are purified water and passive‐aggressive comments. Sometimes.
Y/n&Luz: Oh, you guys are sensitive.
King&Luke: Even demons have inner demons.
King: [tears off one of the pictures to reveal a snarling demon] The most powerful demon of all is the Snaggleback.
Y/n: Cool!
King: He's a-
Luz: Bad boy! [A colored filter appears over the screen, followed by several stickers. Luz aims her phone down and taps on her screen.]
King: Luz, pay attention. This information could save your life someday.
Luke: He has a point Luz as useless the little guy is.
King: Hey!
Luke: This might actually help us identify a demon.
Little Demon: You mean help them.
Luz: No, no. I am so paying attention. This is my paying attention face. [nodding] Mm‐hmm, mm‐hmm, mm‐hmm.
Y/n: [chuckles] That's your adorable not paying attention face.
Luz blushed from the compliment. Then out of nowhere the group hears thunder from outside which got all of them to smile.
King: Uh‐oh. Looks like it's gonna rain.
Y/n: We love the rain
The group of friends get up and head for the door
King: Hey, wait.
Luz: [opens the door, exhales] I always love feeling the first few drops in my hair.
Y/n: [smiles] I love it too, it reminds me of the times we would spend all day outside just dancing and singing.
Luke: [smiles] Yea for some reason the rain is one of the only things I enjoy.
Luz: [looks at Luke] What about us?
Luke: [flicks Luz forehead] I said one of the things I enjoy.
Luz: [rubs her forehead and binds down to a nearby flower] I bet you love the rain too, little buddy.
Suddenly a raindrop hits the flower making it shiver up and die.
Luz: What?
Luke: Just?
Y/n: Happened?
Eda: [runs to the house] Boiling rain! Everybody inside now!
Luke grabs both Luz and Y/n arm, pulling them, and starts running them back to the owl house before the rain starts to get heavier. As soon as they made it Luke ran too fast, accidentally throwing both Y/n and Luz inside the room. Eda made it inside and slammed the door shut.
Eda: Phew! That was close. But the important thing is that no one got hurt.
Luke: Well [looks at Y/n and Luz] I wouldn't save no one.
Y/n: [in pain] Ow! Hey you ok Luz?
Luz: [in pain] Yea im ok-
Luz realized that she was on top of Y/n with both her hands on both sides and her face very close to his face. Both of them were blushing red as Luz got off of him and turned away and Y/n got up off the floor facing the other way.
Y/n: [blushing] S-s-sorry about that Luz.
Luz: [blushing] N-n-no its fine i-i-it wasn't your fault.
Luke: [whispers to Eda] This is sometimes painful and enjoyable to watch.
Eda: [nods her head] Agreed but mostly enjoyable.
The scene then changes with the people in Boonesborough avoiding the boiling rain. Some people are running in their house, others are hiding under ground. Back at the owl house the group of friends were sitting outside putting bandaids on each other. Luz put one on Y/n arm, Y/n put one on Luz leg, Luke put one on his own arm, and King put one on his snout.
King: Look, now we're all boo‐boo buddies.
Luke: Going to need to work on that name
Luz: [squeals] Oh, my gosh, I love you so much.
Luke: [smirks] Careful Luz, Y/n might feel left out.
This caused both Y/n and Luz to blush and glare at Luke as he just chuckles. Then the group turned their heads towards Eda as they watched her do a spell.
Luz: A boiling rainstorm on the Boiling Isles. The weather here is so fun.
Luke: Let's define fun.
Eda: Yeah, we don't have weather. We have plagues, gorenados, shale hail, painbows.
Y/n: Painbows?
King: It's like a rainbow but looking at it turns you inside out.
Both Luz and Y/n put their hoods up and closed them. While Luke puts his hands on his stomach.
Luke: Remind me why we came here again?
Eda: [smirks] So, until the boiling rain stops, no one is allowed outside tonight.
Luke: (Well there goes my training)
Little Demon: You mean that little thing you've been putting off?
Luke: (you try having a hyper energetic girl bother you 24/7.)
King: And if the rain doesn't get you, the Snaggleback will. [opens a book, showing Snaggleback images]
Y/n: [scared] That is modifying terrifying.
Luke:[shrugs his shoulders] Eh I've seen worse.
Little Demon: I heard that.
King: They wander the rain, feeding on boiled tourists.
Eda: Well, whatever the case, this force field spell should protect the house from boiling rains and made‐up demons.
Hooty: Hoot! Well, hurry it up with that force field. That rain is getting closer to my precious stucco.
Luke: Please take your time.
Hooty: Oh don't be like that best buddy!
Everyone: Best buddy?
Luke: [puts his hands over his face] Please just hurry up with that force field.
Eda: Yeah, yeah, I got it. [Uses her staff to grab the light ball and stamps the staff down to the ground. A round orange force field engulfs the house, then shrinks to shape closely around it. Eda begins walking toward the house.]
Luz: Wow! Someday I'd like to be as cool as Eda the Owl Lady. Magical, sassy, surprisingly foxy for her age.
Y/n: (I wonder.)
Y/n just image Luz as a sassy witch.
Imaginary Luz: Hey Y/n!
Y/n blushes and shakes his head.
Luke: You ok there Y/n?
Y/n: [blushing] Huh who me? Yea I'm fine.
Luke: [nods his head] uuuh-huh
Luz: Hey, why do they call you the Owl Lady, anyway?
Eda: 'Cause I'm so wise.
Luke: [holds in a laugh] Depadable [gets hit in the head by Eda] Ow! [rubs his head]
Hooty: Cause she coughs up rat bones.
Luke: That I believe. [gets hit in the head again] Ow!
King: I think it's 'cause she gets distracted by shiny objects.
Y/n: uhh shiny objects?
Eda: No, I don't.
King then pulls out a pen, clicks it, and the diamond on top starts to glow.
Eda: [delightedly] It sparkles and shimmers. It shines and delights. I must have it for my nest… [She lunges for the pen, but King puts it behind his back and she crashes on the ground. Groans]
Y/n: [sweats] Oh I see.
Luz: You have a nest? I want a nest! Nest party!
Luke: Oh please no.
Eda slowly starts to fall as both Eda and Y/n get on both sides of her to hold her up.
Eda: [tiredly] Ugh. That force field really took it out of me.
King&Luke: Uh‐oh. Moving a little slow. Age finally catching up to ya? hahaha!
Eda then narrows her eyes at the two of them. She then draws a circle and snaps her finger as light covers Luke hoodie slamming his hoodie over his head as it does the same with King's hat.
King&Luke: Darkness/What the Hell!
Eda then makes her way back in the house, while Luke and King get their hat/hoodie out of their face.
Luz: This is perfect.
Y/n: [confused] How so?
Luz: Since we'll be stuck in the house all night, Eda won't have any excuse not to teach us a spell.
Y/n: Huh you got a point.
King: But don't you wanna finish our lesson? I was gonna let you scratch a demon's tummy. Me!
Luke: [looks at King] How is that a lesson?
King: It shows you their biggest weak point.
Luke: And it gives you a free tummy rub doesn't it.
King: [looks away sweating] Maybe?
Luz: Oh, uh, sorry, King. But... magic.
King is visibly frustrated. His horn pierces his hat, making it deflate. Luke sees this and walks over to King.
Luke: If it makes you feel better you can teach me.
King: [sighs] Thanks Luke but I know you want to learn more about magic anyway [begins to walk away]
Luke: [sighs and scratches his head] poor little guy.
The scene cuts to Eda walking behind a privacy screen. She snaps her fingers, causing a glow of light as she drops her staff. When she emerges from the other side, she's in her pajamas. She sighs as she lies down on the couch. Luz's shadow falls over her, which causes Eda to panic a little.
Luz: Oh, Eda, have I told you how rad your fang looks today?
Luke: [walks beside Y/n whispers] What is she doing?
Y/n [whispers] I don't know.
Eda: Whatever it is, no.
Luz: Uh, and your hair is like... girl.
Luke: [facepalms] Now I see what she is doing.
Y/n: [looks at Luke confused] What, what is she doing?
Eda: I'm not teaching you magic tonight. I'm sleepy. [covers her body with a blanket] I'm a sleepy little owl.
Y/n: [sweat drops] Oh I see now.
Luz: Please, Eda, please. How are we supposed to earn our witch's staff if we don't know any spells?
Eda: No. Sleep. [covers her whole head with blanket]
Luz then walks over to Y/n and Luke with a sad look. Y/n just pats Luz on the shoulder.
Luke: Maybe we should leave her alone Luz.
Y/n: Luke is right Luz [looks at Eda] she looks like she's used enough magic for today.
Luz: But guys you both are able to do amazing magic. This might be my one and only chance I get to be able to do it [put her hands together and do puppy eyes] Pleeease help me.
Both Y/n and Luke looked at her then smiled.
Y/n: [chuckles] Who can say no to that adorable face?
Luz blushes from Y/n compliment.
Luke: Trust me I've tried multiple times. [smirks and looks at Eda] I have an idea actually.
Eda was now sleeping peacefully until she heard some clicking
Eda: [gasp] Sparkle thing.
This causes her to throw the cover off her and look towards the direction the sound was coming from. What she sees is Luke with the pen clicking it several times.
Luke: [pretends to be shocked] Oh you like this.
Eda walks up on the couch and perches herself on the arm. Luke dangles the pen in her face. Eda then reaches to grab it, but Luke pulls back and throws it to Y/n. Y/n catches it and holds it above his head.
Y/n: Here Eda come get the shine thing.
Eda then walks over to Y/n slowly and then pounce at him, but Y/n dodges it and throws it towards Luz and she catches it. Eda is lying on the ground and looking up at Luz with a grouchy face.
Luz: Teach us one spell, and I'll give you your sparkle thing.
Eda: I respect your cunning, but I also hate you for it.
The three friends high five each other as Eda just says in defeat.
The scene changes with the three friends sitting on the ground with Eda standing above them ready to teach them.
Eda: ugh I can't believe you all take me into doing this.
Luke: The more time you spend whining the longer it will take.
Eda: [looks at Luke] I hate you.
Luke: [smirks] I know.
Y/n: [chuckles] Alright let's get to the magic.
Eda: [sighs] Fine [looks at Y/n] From what I've seen from Igneel and what he's told me his magic is linked to his emotions.
Y/n: [looks at his hands] Emotions huh?
Eda: The more he used his emotions the stronger his magic was the same can be said for you. Negative emotions cause your flames to burn everything in its path, while positive emotions can even let your flames touch things without burning anything.
Y/n started to think back of the times when he used his fire. The time when he used it on both wrath and Adegast the emotion he was feeling was anger. He wanted to burn them until there was nothing left but a pile of ashes, but at the same time he didn't want to kill them which caused his flames to only make them go unconscious. Then he remembered that day again. He sees fire everywhere and in his hands is a dying person.
?: [dying] Y/n.
Y/n shakes his head and squeezes his hands.
Y/n: I understand [looks at Eda] so my first lesson is learning to control my emotions to summon my flames.
Eda: Bingo kid.
Y/n: [sighs] got it. (Easier said than done)
Eda: [looks at Luke and Luz] Know for you two.
Luz looks up in excitement while Luke looks at Y/n with a worried expression.
Eda: If you want a witch's staff like mine, don't make me repeat myself. [gasps as she wakes herself up] Witch's staffs have power embedded into them.
Luz: Gimme!
Luke: [puts his head out] Easy there tiger. [Luz pouts at Luke]
Eda: But before one is earned, every witch needs to know how to cast spells on their own. Now... [throws staff to the side] tonight I will show you how to create... light. [Draws a circle with her finger in the air, which glows orange. White light sparks in the center, forming a large ball of light. It descends until it's in front of Luz's face, where it disappears.]
Luke had to shield his eyes from the light and he also felt a little weak from it. Luz just gasps with excitement since she's about to learn a new spell.
King: Yawn! Who needs another boring spell lesson when you could be learning all the fun ways a demon could kill you. [holds up a drawing of a demon with giant teeth] Look how teethy. Bite, bite.
Luz: Be quiet. I need to focus.
King looks down in sadness as Luke looks back at King.
Luke: (guess I can make the little guy feel better later.)
Eda: Now, humans think magic is made out of thin air, but that's stupid. Everything comes from something. Let me ask you, kid. Where do you think magic comes from?
Luz: Uh, from the heart?
Eda: Actually, you're right.
Luke: [confused] Say what now?
Eda: No, really. [pulls out a diagram of viscera from her hair and shows it to Luz] It comes from a sac of magic bile attached to a witch's heart.
Luke: [puts his hand over his mouth] Why!? How!?
Y/n: (Do I have one of those?)
Luz: Oh, gross. Can I keep that?
Luke: Please Don't give it to her!
Eda: No. [shoves the diagram back in her hair] Now, everything depends on the spell circle. [draws a large circle in the air] The bigger the circle, the more powerful the spell. [The circle bursts out, creating a much bigger light than before. It fades much faster.]
Luke: [looks at his hand] (I see so that's how it works) [notices that he feels weak again] (Jeez the light hurts so much)
Luz: But how can I, little ol' Luz, do spells if I don't have a magic bile... sac?
Luke: Yea I agree.
Eda: You know, I'm not actually sure.
Group: What?
Eda: I know witches did magic differently in the past, but I never bothered to figure out how. [laughs, snorts]
Luke: [facepalms] How do you not know?
Luz: Eda!
Eda: Don't worry. You'll figure it out. Now‐‐ [stands and cracks her back] I need to lie down.
Luz: That's it? Wait! I need to see you do the circle thingy again. I'll record it on my phone this time. [Cut to Luz recording Eda.] Smile! You're on camera. One more spell won't kill you.
Y/n: [looks at Eda and says in a worried tone] Uhh I don't know Luz she seems kind of tired.
Eda: No no it's fine Y/n I can do it. Now, you see, the... [draws a shaky circle] spell circle is really key because‐‐ [the circle disappears as she yawns] Ooh, boy. [falls]
Luke: Welp she's dead.
Luz: [freaks out] WHAT!?
King: [walks up] Yep, looks like one more spell killed Eda.
Luz starts to freak out.
Luz: Oh, my gosh. My obsession with spells knocked out Eda. I'm a monster.
Y/n: [tries to calm her down] Luz I don't th-
King: Bap! [slaps Eda's face]
Luke: [looks at King] Was that really necessary?
King: What? I just wanted to make sure she was out. Bap! [slaps Eda's face, laughs] Yep she's out.
Luz: We should get help, right?
Luz starts to run to the door but is pulled by the arm by Y/n.
Y/n: Luz we can't go outside Boiling rain remember?
Hooty: No, let her try. It'll be funny.
Luke: [slams the door shut] Not funny Hooty.
Luz: But what if Eda's dead?
Y/n was about to say something but was interrupted by Eda.
Eda: [sleep talking] Shiny thing. Big nest. [snoring]
King: Remember when her head got cut off last week? That woman can survive anything.
Luke: Huh you know I keep forgetting that happened.
King: She's probably just tired from staying up all night chasing shrews and voles.
Y/n&Luke: What to the who know?
Luz: Well, we can't just leave her on the floor. [looks at Y/n and Luke]
Luke: [sighs] Sure why not?
Both Y/n and Luke walk over and throw Eda's arms over each of their shoulders and make their way into Eda's room. King opened the door and the group walked inside Eda's room and saw an actual nest made up of branches, sticks, leaves, and vines.
Luke: When she said nest I thought she was just speaking rhetorical.
Luz moves a small animal skull out of the way, then Y/n and Luke gently place Eda into her nest.
Luz: Sorry for pushing you, Miss Eda. Please don't hurt me when you wake up.
Y/n: [pats Luz back] I'm sure she won't.
Luke: I'm sure she will.
King: Should I bap her again?
Luz: [rubs King's head] Just let her rest, you little goober. Come on. Let's go downstairs.
The group starts making their way downstairs until both King and Luke run back up and smack Eda in the face and run back down stairs while laughing.
Luke POV
We all decided to go to different parts of the house to practice our magic. What I'm doing is reading up on demons from King's book near the stairwell. I did feel a little bad for the little guy so I asked him if I could read his book about demons. What, I'm not a monster.
Little Demon: I can't believe you're reading that garbage.
Also I notice it pissed off this demon so a win-win for both me and King.
Me: Well I'm just trying to learn a little something about demons that live in this world. Is that so wrong?
Little Demon: I will respect your decision to learn more about demons. But did you have to take advice from someone that can't even handle a little sock?
Me: Well do you know anything about other demons?
Silence.
Me: I thought so. Besides this book might come in handy more than you think and who knows the little guy might be more than he lets on.
Little Demon: Uh-huh sure. Are you sure it is not because he reminds you of someone?
A sudden memory popped into my head. A little girl is sitting there crying in front of me as I just stand there and watch.
?: [sobbing] It's weird I'm supposed to be the oldest and yet I keep getting saved by you. I really am pathetic aren't I?
The memory ended with me shaking my head as I went back to reading the book.
Y/n POV
I was currently in the kitchen pacing around back and forth trying to decide on what to do right now.
Y/n: hmmm I could try to learn how to control my emotions so I can use my fire, but that also risks the whole entire house getting burned down.
I imagine how mad Eda would be if I burned the house down.
Eda: [staff in her hand] WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO MY HOUSE!?
I shuddered at the thought of that.
Y/n: [holds himself] Yea lets uh not do that. [digs in his pocket and grabs the keychain] Maybe I could try to figure this thing out. But how?
Zack: Why don't you ask me?
I flinched and turned around to see Zack standing there doing a two hand salute.
Zack: Hey Y/n how u been?
Y/n: [runs up and tries to hug him] Zack! [phases right through him] Huh? [hits a wall] Ow.
Zack: [scratches the back of his head] Yea should probably explain that.
Me: [gets up and sits on the ground] Yea like how are you here? What are you doing here? Where have you been all this time?
Zack: [puts his hand up] Whoa whoa whoa! Y/n calm down one question at a time.
I started to calm down and waited patiently.
Zack: Ok now that that's settled let me explain right now what you are seeing is a part of my soul.
Me: [confused] Your soul?
Zack: Doing my travels I was able to pick up on a spell which I can transfer some of my being into an object which contains part of my soul as well. I choose a keychain because well it's always been something special to me.
Me: But why not the sword [takes the sword out and places it on the ground]
Zack: Unfortunately I tried that once but everytime I did the sword would erase the mark from it. The sword itself can erase or absorb magic based energy.
Me: I see [looks at Zack] So does that mean you're some kind of spirit?
Zack: In a way yes only people who touch the keychain can see me.
Me: [pulls out and looks at the keychain] Wow. So I'm talking to a spirit huh?
Zack: [smiles] Yep I'll still be here to guide you as much as I can but I am limited to how much I can be around. If I'm not too careful I could end up using up all the magic stored in the eye chain causing my spirit to disappear. [sees Y/n panic face] Uhhh but let's not think about that hehehe.
Y/n: [nods his head] Right.
Awkward Silence.
Zack: Soooo you like that Luz girl?
Y/n: [blushes] ZACK!
3rd POV
Luz is currently in the living room re-watching the video of Eda drawing a circle and is trying to copy her doing it with no success.
Luz: [groans, trying to draw a spell circle] This is all she does. Why do you gotta be so cryptic, Owl Lady?
King: [puts his notepad over Luz's phone] Hey, you know what's really cryptish? Let me tell you about the most spine‐chilling demon. [lifts up notepad to show a fish-like demon] Smoochy‐pie the Sweetie Baby! He's... Well, he's a lot more threatening than his name implies.
Luz: Not now, King. I want to figure out this spell. But if I don't have a magic sac, what's the point? I'll just be twirling my fingers around un-magically forever.
Luke overhears this from the stairwell and decides to listen some more. Y/n, after his argument with Zack, listens in from behind the door.
King: Why do you want to learn magic so bad, anyway?
Luz: I was a nobody back home. The only real friends I had were both Y/n and Luke. They were always there for me when I needed them the most. Then we found out Y/n was born a son of a dragon slayer and Luke was able to do amazing magic, I just feel like I'm slowing them down and they'll leave me.
Both Y/n and Luke look down with a sad expression on their face hearing this is what Luz has been going through this whole time.
King: How did you three become friends anyway?
Luz: [smiles] I'll never forget that day.
Both Y/n and Luke smile as well. They remember it was the start of a beautiful friendship.
Flashback four years ago
We see a Little Luz playing outside at a playground with an Azura figure having the time of her life.
Luz: And just like that the mighty witch Azura saves the day again [pretends to be a crowd] Yea Azura we love you.
?: What's this?
Luz turns her head and sees 5 kids walking up to her.
Bully#1: Look at this Noceda she is still playing pretend isn't that adorable.
Luz: [gets upset] Leave me alone!
Bully#2: And look at this boss [takes her Azura figure] She still plays with dolls.
Luz: Hey! Give that back!
Luz tries to reach for her doll as the bully holds it over her head. The two other bullies came and pushed her down causing her to fall and cry.
Bully#1: Aww is Noceda crying, how pathetic. Here let me give you something to cry about [holds one end of the doll by the body and the other end by the head]
Luz: [crying] NO STOP!
But it was too late as the Bully pulled the head off the doll and threw the body on the floor while laughing. Luz holds the body in her hands as tears fall from her face. She wishes she had someone that can help her.
?: HEY!
Everyone turns their heads to the person who said that and what they all see is a kid Y/n with an angry look on his face with his eyes red.
Kid Y/n: What do you think you're doing?
Bully#3: Aww would you look at that boss, it's the freak Dragneel coming to help another freak out.
Kid Y/n: [growls] I ask what do you think you're doing?
Bully#1: [walks up to Y/n] Relax Dragneel we are just showing this freak her place and if you don't get out of here [gets in his face] Well do the same to you.
Kid Y/n was about to respond until a voice interrupted them.
?: That's not very nice.
Everyone looks to see a kid Luke walking up to them with his hands in his pockets. This causes the 5 bullies to sweat a little.
Kid Luke: What seems to be the problem here?
Bully#4: [whispers] Boss, that's Luke. What do we do?
Bully#1: [whispers] Quiet I got this [talks to Luke] Oh we were just telling good old Dragneel here he wouldn't stand a chance if it was a 5 on 1 fight.
Luke just looks at the bullies as they all flinch from his stare. Then he sees the crying Luz on the ground and knows what really happened.
Luke: (I see that's what happened. Alright I'll play along) Yea you're right if it was a 5 on 1 fight Y/n would get beaten easily so how about we all just walk away?
Bully#1: [smirks] Good choice [looks at his gang] Let's go guys.
The bullies then walk past Luke and Y/n. Y/n gives Luke a surprised and angry look until he looks at Luke and notices that this is not over yet.
Luke: But then again [the bullies stopped walking] If I was to join in then this fight would be over quickly.
Bully#1: [angry] What? [turns around and looks at Luke] Are you trying to say that if you two work together you can beat us?
Luke: [smirks and turns around] We don't think..
Y/n: [smashes his fist together] We know we can beat you!
Bully#1: Ok that's it, get them!
All the bullies run at both Y/n and Luke as Y/n and Luke run at them. The sounds of punches and kicks can be heard. Luz looks at the scene and flinches everytime someone was either hit or sent flying in the air and landing on the ground hard. The battle ends with Luke punches the boss in the face causing him to fall on the ground.
Bully#1: [holds his nose] You'll pay for this you freaks! [gets up and runs with his gang running behind him]
Luke: [pants and yells] Says the one who can't even handle 5 on 2! Losers. Well that was something how you feeling Y/- [looks around for Y/n] Hey Y/n where did you- [sees Y/n walk up to Luz] Oh right almost forgot.
Y/n: [holds out a damaged Azura head] Here sorry it got messed up in the fight.
Luz: [looks at it and gently takes it from Y/n] No it's fine [looks at him with a smile] Thank you.
Y/n: Well my name is-
Luz: Y/n Dragneel right?
Y/n: [surprised] Yea how did you-
Luz: I'm in the same class as you [looks down] and I also heard about you.
Y/n: Oh. [looks down] so you know about me being-
Luz: [looks at Y/n] If it means anything I don't think you're a freak.
Y/n: [shocked and looks at Luz] Really?
Luz: Yea you helped me and [blushes] I think what you did was sweet.
Y/n: [blushes and scratches his head] Thanks I heard what you do too and I think what you do is pretty cool.
Luz: [blushing looks down] Really? [Y/n nods his head] Thanks.
Both of them look at the ground blushing trying to figure out what to say next.
Luke: Uh [walks up to the two of them] I can't tell if you two are having a moment or not? So am I interrupting something?
Y/n&Luz: No it's nothing! [both look at each other and look away blushing]
Luke: Riiight. Well anyway I'm Luke Martins and I've heard a lot about you Noceda and I got to say [smirks] what you do makes the school life less boring.
Luz: [confused] Uh thank you?
Y/n: [smiles] Yea like how you dressed up in that Azura costume that was so cool I was planning to dress up in an Inferno costume but Luke wouldn't let me.
Luke: Only because you had all the wrong materials for it. If you're going to play the part, at least look good for it.
Luz: [stars in her eyes] You guys read Azura too!?
Y/n: [smiles and gets excited] Yeah it's one of my favorite series!
Luke: [crosses his arm] Only because this idiot forced me.
Y/n: [whispers] He's just being bashful.
Luz giggles while Luke just grunts in response.
Y/n: So do you want us to join in with you?
Luz: [shocked] Y-you guys would play with me?
Y/n: [smiles] Of course were friends right?
Luz was shocked that someone was really willing to be her friend. She then looks at Luke who makes a surprised face then responds.
Luke: Well we can't just leave you by yourself so why not?
Y/n: [elbows Luke] Awww still having a hard time being honest with your feelings?
Luke: [angry twitch mark] Shut it you little-
They both stopped arguing when they heard sobbing. They turned to see Luz with tears in her eyes as she looked down the whole time.
Luke: [panics] uhhhh
Y/n: [panics and waves his hands] uhh Luz we didn't mean to make you cry we just- [gets cut off by Luz hugging the both of them] !
Luz: [cries] Yes I would love to be friends with you! Thank you so much for being my friend!
Both Y/n and Luke were cut off guard but still smiled and hugged Luz back. They stayed like this for a while.
Flashback ended
Luz: [smiles] Ever since then we've been friends, they have always been by my side when I needed them the most.
Y/n: And the same could be side in reverse.
Luz jumped a little and looked towards the kitchen door to see Y/n standing there.
Luz: [surprised] Y-Y-Y/N! how long were you there?
Y/n: [chuckles] Long enough. [walks in front of Luz and looks at her] But I did mean what I said. You were one of the few people who didn't see me as a freak. You also accepted me for who I am. You've been me and Luke's true friend and [blushes] someone that I consider special in my life.
Luz: [blushes] Y/n.
They both stare into each other's eyes, tilting their heads, and slowly start to lean closer to each other to the point where they can feel each other's breath. Their lips were closed to connecting until
King: Are they going to kiss?
Luke: I think so now shush.
It was ruined.
Both Y/n and Luz looked at each other then turned their heads towards Luke and King who were both just sitting beside each other watching.
Luke: [waves his arms] Oh don't mind us keep going.
Both Y/n and Luz blush bright red and turned away from each other.
Luz: [blushes] C-c-can we change the subject please?
King&Luke: But aren't you two going to finish-
Luz&Y/n: [shouts] SUBJECT CHANGE NOW!
King jumps into Luke's arms as Luke just looks at them with a smile. King calms down and sighs.
King: If I help you learn that spell, could we finish our lesson?
Luz: [looks at King] Oh, yes, yes. You can teach me about demons all week if you help me learn this spell.
King: [jumps out of Luke's arms] Well, she said witches used to do magic differently, so there has to be a way, right? [draws something and shows it to Luz] And I have a theory. Every day I notice Eda sneaking drinks of this special elixir, see? Then she always gets a boost of energy, see? I think that's where she gets her powers. And I know where to get some.
The group: really?
King: Si
Luz: [grabs King and swings him around] Thank you so much. You're a prince.
King: King, I'm King.
Luz: Right.
Luke on the other hand was feeling a little indifferent about all this.
Y/n: [looks at Luke] You ok Luke?
Luke: Yea just thinking.
The scene then cuts to King slowly walking into Eda's room. Eda is currently still sleeping in her nest. He slowly makes his way over to Eda's nest.
King: [looks around] Now where could it be…
He then sees a bright orange potion on Eda's table. He slowly starts making his way towards it but stops as he sees a metal trap laying on the ground.
King: Ha! Nice try.
Trap: Nah, my heart wasn't in it. [leaves]
King climbs on the curtains and jumps onto the tabletop.
King: [reads the tag on the potion] "An elixir a day." Cryptic. [rips off the tag] Nyeh.
He puts the piece of the tag into his collar and jumps off the table and lands on the floor. He then looks at Eda and back at the potion with guilt, but then decides to take the potion to Luz and the others.
Back in the kitchen the three friends are sitting at the table waiting for King. Luz has both of her hands balled up and shaking with excitement, Y/n is just sitting down with a smile looking at Luz with the baby dragon on his head, and Luke has his arms crossed with his eyes closed. The group then hears King running back down.
King: [jumps on the table with the potion in his hand] I got it!
Luz: [squeals] King I love you so much! [takes the potion] Wow. I can't believe I'm about to learn magic.
Luke: [opens his eyes] Just to clarify this will help right.
King: Of course I've seen Eda take it all the time
Luke: uh-huh.
Luz: Come on Luke this might be my chance to learn magic. Lets trust him [puppy eyes] Please?
Luke: [sighs] Ok ok just stop doing that.
Luz: Thanks Luke. Here goes nothing [lifts the bottle up to her mouth. Clap of thunder startles her, and she fumbles the potion until it smashes on the floor.] Golden elixir. Gone! This is awful.
Y/n: [pats her back] Hey don't worry Luz we'll find a new way for you to learn the light spell.
King: Who even needs a light spell when we have tons of lamps? [The lamps flare and die. Everyone glares at King.] [groans] Hooty controls the house lights. He probably just fell asleep.
Luke: [sighs] Guess I'll go wake him up.
King: Going to wake up your best friend.
All Y/n and Luz Giggles at King's response.
Luke: [eye twitches] I will feed all of you to the creatures outside.
Luke POV
I start making my way out of the kitchen and towards the front door.
Luke: [opens the door] Hey hooty you asleep [sees hooty's scared face] uhh Hooty you ok?
Hooty: [frighten] M-m-monster!
Luke: What?
I turned around to see what he was talking about and saw a large creature behind us. I didn't have enough time to summon my sword as it swung its claw at me and hooty.
Hooty&Luke: Hoot! Hoot!/AHHHHH!
3rd POV
As Luke leaves the kitchen, Luz puts her head down with a sad look on her face.
Luz: I can't believe I lost my chance to learn magic.
Y/n: [pats her back] Hey come on you don't need some dumb potion to learn magic. You'll find a better way to do it the Luz Noceda way.
Luz: [blushes and hugs Y/n] Thanks Y/n.
Y/n: hehe [hugs back] No problem.
King: (Guess Luke is right this is sometime fun and painful to watch)
Then out of nowhere the three friends hear a crash coming from the living room.
Hooty&Luke: Hoot! Hoot!/AHHHHH!
Luz: Wait that sounded like-
King&Y/n: Hooty/Luke!
Y/n: [takes the baby dragon off his head] Stay here little guy.
The group make their way towards the living room to see it trashed. Claw marks were everywhere, the furniture was trashed and the windows were all broken. What freaked the group out the most was a bloody Luke on the ground with three claw marks going down from his left shoulder to his right side. Then they see the creature on top of hooty, who had his eyes turned to X's. It was too dark for the group to make out what it was but it started to leave more claw marks on Hooty.
Y/n: [takes out his blade and runs towards the creature] Leave hooty alone!
Y/n tries to strike the creature but it ends up running and making his way towards the boiling rain.
Luz: [runs to Luke] Luke! Come on please wake up! [shakes Luke]
Luke starts to groan and struggles to open his eyes.
Luke: [weak] G-g-guys.
Y/n: [sits on the other side of Luke] Oh thank god! We thought you were dead.
Luke: I thought I was but *groans* that thing missed *grunts*
Y/n: Hey easy, don't speak, you need to rest.
Luke: R-right. [slowly starts to shut his eyes]
Luz: [panics] Luke no! [tears begin to form] Is he?
Y/n: [puts his hand on Luke's neck] (I can still feel some magic energy coming from him. Which means he is still alive) No he's not. But we need to cover up the bleeding.
King: [runs up with bandages] Here I brought this.
Both Y/n and Luz started wrapping Luke's upper body with bandages as they lay him down gently on the couch or what was left of it that is.
Luz: [pats Luke's head] I really hope you feel better.
Y/n: [pulls one of hooties eyes and notices he's unconscious] Looks like hooty is ok too just unconscious. [looks back outside] What kind of creature could survive out there?
King: [thinks then gasps] Oh, my gosh. The Snaggleback! It feeds during the rains. It must have stumbled across our house and seen us inside.
The group then hears a loud howl outside. They all start running out and look around for the noise. They then see the creature jump through the upper floor window.
Luz: This is terrifying. [looks at King] So why do you look so happy?
King: [squealing] Because this could be a lesson. This would be a great way for you to see a wild demon up close and personal.
Luz: You want to go toward those creepy sounds? No way!
King: What if Eda gets eaten? She's upstairs and defenseless because you knocked her out.
Y/n: He's got a point, Luz.
Luz: [groans] What about Luke we can't just leave him here?
Luke: [weak] Go.
The group of friends turn their heads toward Luke and see him with his eyes still closed struggling to talk.
Luke: Help…. Eda.
The three look at each other then back to Luke this was one of the few times he called Eda by her name instead of something else. The trio decided to arm up against the creature. Luz and King duct-taped pillows on their bodies, then Luz puts on a pair of gloves as extra protection and puts bandages under her eyes. For a weapon Luz grabbed a hockey stick and King grabbed Francois.
They both looked at Y/n and noticed he didn't put any type of protection on him.
Luz: Y/n you're not going to put anything on?
Y/n:[shakes his head] nah it will slow down my movements. I need to be fast and hit strong.
Luz: [worried] but-
Y/n: [pats her head] Don't worry Luz I'll be fine I promise.
Luz gives a sigh and decides to trust Y/n better judgment. The three start making their way towards the stairs as Luz takes out her phone and turns on the flash light. The three slowly start climbing the stairs and walking through the hallway with Y/n in front, with his sword out, and Luz in the back, with her phone in one hand and hockey stick in the other, and King beside Y/n . As they were walking they saw Eda's door slowly open and all looked at each other and nodded their heads as they slowly approached the room. Once they pushed the door open they noticed Eda was gone and her room was thrashed, trash everywhere, her nest was a mess, and the window was shattered.
Y/n&Luz: Oh no Eda! [runs to Eda's bed]
King: She got snaggle‐backed.
Y/n: Eda? [holds up a damaged pillow] No! Slash marks. King! You're the demon expert. I need your help.
King: I'll go get my demon book.
Luz: [looks at Y/n] You should go with him to make sure he comes back safe.
Y/n: [looks at Luz shocked] But what about-
Luz: [touches Y/n shoulder] Hey don't worry it's going to take more then some monster to take me down. I'll be right here when you get back.
Y/n: [looks down and hugs Luz] Be careful.
Luz: [smiles and hugs back] I will.
King: Come on Y/n let's go.
Y/n nods his head and he and King go back downstairs to get his book. While running down the hallway Y/n hears something running on the ceiling. He looks up and sees nothing there.
Y/n: [confused] Didn't I just-
King: [from afar] Y/n come on we need to hurry!
Y/n: [breaks out of his thoughts] Right coming! [runs to catch up to king]
Luke POV
Everything hurts. I can barely move and I can barely see anything. What makes it worse is that I feel like I'm no longer in the living room anymore. I feel like I'm inside one of the rooms in the black room. I force my body to look up and notice I'm in nothing but a black void with no end in sight. When I look in front of me I see that little demon with a smile on his face as he just looked at me.
Little Demon: Aww poor Luke seems like you've got yourself in quite a mess. Don't worry I'll take over for now.
Take over? The hell is he talking about?
Little Demon: Relax and let the magic heal you. [turns around] It's now time for me to have a little fun.
I tried to reach out for the door but I barely had any energy to even keep my hand up.
Me: [weak] W-wait.
Little Demon: I hope you enjoy the show [smiles] Luke.
The door slowly starts to close as my eyes start to become heavy. Eventually the door closes, my arms drop, and my eyes begin to close. Y/n, Luz, King, Eda whatever happens please be safe.
3rd POV
Y/n and King make it back downstairs and find King's demon book.
King: [picks up the books] Wait, wait. First edition or second?
Y/n: [thinks] I say both can never go wrong with that.
King: Yea agreed.
They both share a little laugh.
Y/n: Alright let's head back to Luz and- [hears a growl panics] Did you hear that?
King: [runs behind Y/n legs] Yes what was that.
Y/n: [looks around and takes out his sword] I don't know, stay behind me.
King: Don't have to tell me twice.
Y/n keeps on looking around him as he keeps hearing something running on the floor and running on the ceiling. Y/n looks left right up and down but has yet to find whatever is making that sound. Until something jumps at him and tries to slash his right shoulder, but Y/n blocks it just in time before it was able to do it. The creature growls and snarls at Y/n as it kicks off from his sword and jumps back into the darkness.
King: [panics] What the heck was that!?
Y/n: [puts his sword back in front of him] I don't know King, go back to Luz whatever this is, it's not alone!
King: [worried] But what about-
Y/n: Don't worry [smiles] I'm not going to let this thing beat me. Now go!
King, carrying both his books, starts running back to Eda's room. The creature sees this and tries to attack King but Y/n ends up kicking it right in its face sending it straight to the wall and falling on the ground. King runs out of the room leaving Y/n and the creature by themselves.
Y/n: [puts his sword over his shoulder] Now it's just the two of us. [holds his sword out in his right hand] This is your one warning, leave and neve come back.
The creature growls and slowly makes its way back into the darkness. It starts to move around in the dark leaving clar marks and making noises to confuse Y/n. Y/n holds his sword with both hands and looks around to find it.
Y/n: [sweats] Guess you're not leaving. Well then. [turns around and swings his sword] I guess I'll make you!
But instead of hitting the creature Y/n had hit nothing but the air. The creature then appeared behind Y/n clawing him down his back causing him to grunt in pain. Y/n then tries to go for another attack, but the creature jumps on his sword and kicks Y/n across the room crashing him into the wall.
Y/n: [groans] Ok that was good. [gets up and runs at it] But let's see you handle this!
Y/n jumps up in the air and goes for a jumps slash but the creature backflips away from it and disappears back into the shadows
Y/n: Oh come on! Stop hiding and fight me!
The creature then appears in front of Y/n shocking him as it grabs him by the face and slams him on the ground hard making a crater. Y/n groans in pain. He looks up in time to see the creature try to pierce him with his claw. Y/n jumps out of the crater in time before it pierce him and looks up to see the creature is gone again.
Y/n: [pants] Damn it. It keeps running into the darkness. If this keeps up anything I'm going to die what do I do?
Zack: Stop using your eyes.
Y/n: [shocked] Huh? Zack where are-
Zack: I'm talking to you through the keychain.
Y/n: [embarrassed] Oh right.
Zack: Listen Y/n this whole time you've been using your eyes. But as you can see it's not working. Not only that but you're letting your anger get in the way of trying to anticipate its next move.
Y/n: Then what do I-
Zack: Other senses. [voice starts to fade away] Use your senses.
Y/n: My other senses? What does that-
Before Y/n could finish the creature ends up jumping in the air to claw Y/n but Y/n rolls out of the way before it could get him in time.
Y/n: (Other sense? What does that mean? Think Y/n think. Lets see, eyes are one of them. Wait. The other senses in the body of course. Let's see if this works)
Y/n stands up, closes his eyes and grips his sword tightly in front of him. The creature retreats into the shadows making noises and clawing up the floor again.
Y/n: (The five senses of the body: Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste, and Touch. All I've been using is one of them and that's sight, I need to use all of them to find out where it is.)
As Y/n was focusing the room around him went dark. All he could do was hear the sounds the creature was making. As he continued to concentrate he slowly started to see a black mist moving around him even though his eyes were still closed. The mist started to come closer and closer until it tried to pierce him with its claws from behind. Unknown to the creature Y/n saw the attack coming. Y/n spun to the right as the creature was slowly moving forward. Y/n put all of his weight to spin around and do a spin attack on the creature.
Y/n: [opens his eyes as they are red] I CAN SEE YOU!
Y/N slashes the creatures back with a spin attack. Since the creature's skin was thick it didn't cut him in half but it did leave a huge slash mark on it's back sending it flying into the wall.
Y/n: [panting] Ha. How *pants* did you *pants* like that? [drops to one knee and looks at his sword] What just happened?
He then starts to hear the creature get up which forces him up. The creature growled at him and started running towards Y/n as he readied himself to attack. When the creature was in range Y/n did a vertical slash but missed when the creature ducked into its shadow dash into the hallways.
Y/n: So that's it. It was literally in its own shadow [looks at the creature's shadow] But now I can see its magic making finding him easy.
Y/n started to run after the shadow as it kept dashing through the halls.
Y/n: You can run but you can't- [gets cut off by a claw] Whoa!
Y/n barely managed to dodge it as it cut his cheek as he dashed back and looked at what hit him.
Y/n: Is it the same as before? No, its scent is different from the other one and it's magic is less dark as well.
It was another large creature bigger than the one before. As it looked at Y/n it charged at him and tried to claw him but Y/n jumped on the ceiling and looked at it.
Y/n: You're a lot slower then your friend [jumps off the ceiling and reals his sword back] So beating you will be easy!
As Y/n was closing in on the creature a Zack's voice stopped him.
Zack: Y/n wait don't!
Y/n: Huh!? [gets backhanded by the creature and crashed onto the ground] *groans* That hurt.
The creature then runs up and tries to claw Y/n but he dodges it just in time and starts to run down the hallway. As he was running he looked behind him a few times to see if it was following him but it was way behind.
Y/n: [running] Jeez that thing is slow. But why the hell did you want me to-
Before Y/n could finish that sentence a hand grabbed him and forced him inside Eda's room. Before he was about to make noise a hand was placed over his mouth making him unable to talk. He was shaking his head trying to get it off him until he heard a familiar voice.
Luz: [whisper yell] Y/n it's me Luz.
Y/n opened his eyes to see Luz and was relieved. She put her other free finger over her lips to signal him to stay quiet. They heard the sounds of a creature growling and stopping past the door as it started to get quieter and quieter. They all breathe a sigh of relief as Luz takes her hand off Y/n mouth.
Y/n: What the heck happened?
King: Well after you stay behind to fight that thing downstairs I went back to look for Luz but she was gone. So I thought the Snaggleback took her so I ran after it and it wasn't what I expected. So then it got eaten but the bigger creature and it chased after me until Luz pulled me aside and saved me.
Y/n: I see.
Luz: I heard the big Snaggleback so I ran and hid [looks down] I also ended up losing my shoe.
King: Oh right [takes out Luz shoe]
Luz: Oh hey you found it [takes it from King sits down to put it on]
King: [notice something on her foot] Wait What's that [takes it and reads it] "Keeps the curse at bay." [gasps, pulls out the tag in his collar and puts them together] "An elixir a day, keeps the curse at bay."
Y/n: uhh King what do you mean by that?
King: I was wrong the whole time. That's no Snaggleback. That creature is…
Suddenly a hand burst through the door and the creature forced his whole body through the door. Luz and King hide behind Y/n, with his sword out in front of him, thanks to the light they were able to see it more clearly but what they saw shocked all of them. It was a big owl monster, with black-colored eyes and long pointed ears. It's hair was gray, as well as a bunch of gray hair on the ears. It's body is covered in dark teal fur, and it has two dark grey wings. The legs are black color and the feet look more like a bird's feet.
But what stood out the most was the face it resembled.
Y/n&Luz: EDA!?
The creature grinned at them and slowly made its way up to them as the group slowly backed away from it.
Y/n: O-o-ok if that thing is Eda then what about-
Y/n gets interrupted by something slowly coming out of Eda's shadow. As it fully comes the others look at it in shock. It was a large all black demon. It had black wavy hair with two black horns poking above his forehead, it had the same black-colored eyes as Eda and the ears as well. Its body was just a black coat of darkness, it had a long tail, pointy teeth, and clawed fingers and toes. The creature did a loud screech scaring everyone as it looked at Y/n and the others. When Y/n looked at it, he noticed something was around its neck. It was a heart locket and the only person he knew that had it was.
Y/n: [shocked] N-no it can't be. [looks at the creature's face] Luke?
Luke was now making its way close to Y/n but was interrupted by Eda shrieking at him. They both growled and screeches at each other as the group watched. They didn't know what would happen if they tried to move so they just stayed still the whole time, that was until King accidentally made a bad step causing the two to look at the trio. They both lunged in the air ready to strike the three friends. Y/n stood his ground with his sword in hand to at least try to block the strikes. Luz panics and falls down while her phone falls out of her pocket causing the camera to go off with a bright light hitting both Eda and Luke.
This blinds both Eda and Luke and forces them to retreat back into the corner. For Eda it just caused her to hold her hands over her eyes as she shrieks, But for Luke he was on the ground spazzing out shrieking and screaming out loud until he retreats into the shadows to recover. Y/n seeing this opportunity picks up Luz and King and heads to the balcony. Eda recovers and starts looking around for the trio only for them to be hiding behind a wall. She starts making her way to the wall as she is looming over them. They all had their hands over their mouth hoping she wouldn't notice they were there. Eda starts sniffing around to try to find them. Y/n sees a nearby can and throws it far away covering his ears as it hits something far away. Eda hears this roar and heads to the direction the sound came in.
Y/n: [pokes his head out and sighs in relief] Ok she's gone.
Luz: [breaths out] I didn't know how much longer I could hold my breath. [looks at Y/n] Did you see their eyes? They were like‐‐ [snarls] What happened to them?
King: I don't know about Luke but for Eda it might have something to do with her not taking her elixir.
Y/n: [confused] What? But why?
King: Don't you see? The elixir I gave Luz doesn't give Eda powers. It prevents her from turning into that thing. She's turned into a nightmare and it's all my fault. I'm so sorry, Luz and Y/n. I‐I just wanted you three to be into demons like you're into magic. I don't have many friends, and no one even pays that much attention to me. I thought maybe if I taught you, finally someone would care about creatures like me.
Both Luz and Y/n look at each other with a guilt in their face. Luz then pulls out a pen and looks at King with a smile.
Luz: Well... [holds out the pen] let's finish the lesson.
King: Huh?
Y/n: Both Luke and Eda turned into some kind of demon, and we need to save them. So who knows more about demons than the best teacher in the world?
King hears those words and points to himself as both Luz and Y/n nod their heads. King takes the pen, shakes and giggles with joy and hugs the two friends as they hug him back.
King: Let's see. [draws on the leaves] Eda was bigger, covered in feathers, and had giant black eyes. Luke on the other head was covered in darkness but also had giant black eyes. Demons with black eyes are usually sensitive to light. [looks at Luz's phone] That's it. Light! Luz, use your human wonder rectangle.
Luz: I can't. [takes out her phone] My camera's all blasted.
King: [looks at Y/n] What about you Y/n?
Y/n: I left my back in my room.
King: [thinks] Well how about a light spell?
Luz: [sighs] You saw me. I can't draw circles in the air. I'm not like Eda. [plays the video]
King: [looks at Y/n] How about you use your fire Y/n? When Igneel used he's it was always bright as light from what I've heard.
Y/n: [looks down at his hands] Problem is I still can't summon mine on command without getting angry. (That and I could risk setting the whole house on fire.)
While King and Y/n were trying to find ways on how to summon some light, Luz was busy looking at the video of Eda doing the light spell on her phone. When she was watching she saw the phone glitch and noticed something.
Luz: Wait a second.
As she looked closer she noticed a pattern in the circle. It was a perfectly horizontal line connecting two sides of the circle, one-third up from the bottom of the circle. The ends of the horizontal line are connected to the top of the vertical line. Two slanted bars cut through the vertical line just above the horizontal line. In the space between the top of the vertical line and the top of the circle, a circle that doesn't reach the top and two tangents from the circle to the top finish the glyph.
Luz: [gasp] Guys look there is a pattern inside the circle.
Both King and Y/n walk up and look at the phone shocked to see a pattern.
Luz: [grabs a leaf and the pen] It looks like this. [draws over the pattern] There. [She taps the pattern with the tip of the pen. The drawing on the leaf begins glowing.]
Y/n: Whoa whats-
Before Y/n could say anything else the leaf folds into itself, brightening until it's a small floating ball of light. Luz gently cups it in her hands, bringing it to eye level.
Y/n&Luz: It's beautiful.
Luz: I did it, I just did magic [looks at Y/n] like you and Luke!
Y/n: [smiles] I always knew you could do it.
Luz jumps up and hugs Y/n as he hugs her back. They were interrupted when they heard Eda roaring. They duck back down, with Luz covering the ball of light, and look at each.
King: We're not going to stop anything with something that small.
Y/n: [puts his hand on his chin] (Eda said the bigger the circle the stronger the spell). I have an idea but we need to work together for this.
Luz: I'm in! [looks at King] What do you say boo-boo buddy?
King: I'm kind of over that nickname. But okay.
The three fist pumps each other and prepare for their plan.
The scene cuts to Eda sniffing and looking around to find anything that is food. She then turns around to see Luke coming back from his shadow. They both growled at each other waiting for one of them to make a move. Suddenly they heard a pen clicking and looked towards the direction it was coming from, to see King with the shiny object clicking it.
King: Oh, what lovely thing do we have here? It's just so dang shiny. Oh, my. Oh, dear.
Eda was looking at the object cooing at it and tilting her head back and forth. Luke on the other hand was staring at it with hate and wanted it destroyed. They both lounged at King with a full sprite and charged at the little demon. King was able to react in time, turned a corner, and started running down the hallway. Both Eda and Luke fall on top of each other. Luke kicks Eda off him and starts running towards King with Eda not far behind. The two start closing their way on King until he turns another corner. The two try to stop and turn to run after him but were hit by Y/n who had both his arms out hitting them in the neck with full force forcing them to crash back on the other side of the room.
Y/n: [looks at Luz] Ok Luz, They're here do it now!
Luz: [still drawing] It's not finished yet!
Y/n: [shocked] What!?
Before they could say anything else both Luke and Eda lugged themselves towards Luz baring their fangs at her. Luz, scared out of her mind, puts her head down with her hands up ready for them to bite down on her.
Y/n: [dashes and yells] LUZ!
The sound of Blood was heard throughout the house.
Luz POV
I was still waiting for both Luke and Eda to bite down on me and possibly kill me but nothing happened until I felt something on me. I then look up to see Y/n in front of me with both his hands out. I looked down at my hands and noticed that there was blood on them. The only problem is it wasn't my blood. I then looked back at Y/n more clearly and what I saw sucked my heart. On both sides of his neck was both Eda and Luke biting him causing lots of blood to spill on their fangs and on the floor. Not only that one of Luke's claws had pierced right through Y/n sides. I put my hands over my mouth as tears started to fall down my face. They all landed on the floor with Eda and Luke on top of Y/n still biting down on him.
Me: [Stretches her hand out with a crack voice] Y-y/n.
Y/n: [grabs both Eda and Luke's head and forces them to bite on him more] DO IT!
All I did was nod my head and finish the circle as tears kept on falling for my eyes. I just kept telling myself he'll be ok. I finished the circle and then looked back down at the others.
Luz: [yells] I'm sorry guys!
Both Eda and Luke removed their fangs from Y/n neck, as his arms just dropped down, and looked up at me. No no no Y/n it can't be. It can't. I turned back around.
Luz: BUT THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN [slams her hand on the glyph] GOOD!
The light spread around the room causing both Eda and Luke to shriek in pain. Soon the light slowly started to die and I saw Eda still in her owl form but passed out and Luke was back to normal and passed out as well. I then looked at Y/n to see him still passed out with him laying in his own blood. I ran up to him not caring if any got on me as I just hold Y/n.
Me: [crying] Y/n please wake up. Please.
I kept on calling out to him hoping he would say something. But nothing, no movement or anything. I put my head near his heart only to hear it go softer and softer.
King: [looks at Luz] Luz is he-
Me: [yells] No he's not! He's not, he can't be! [looks at King] King get the bandages!
King: [flinches] But-
Me: Get them! [looks back at Y/n and buries her head in his shoulder as she cries] Please.
I heard King start to run and get them. I took my head off Y/n's shoulder as I looked at him. I lightly shook him wanting no begging him to wake up.
Me: Y/n please wake up [grabs his hand and put it on her left cheek] Don't leave me.
I see him slowly start to open his eyes. I was about to be happy until I noticed there was barely any life in them. This is bad if King does not hurry he'll.
Y/n: [weak] L-L-Luz.
Me: Y/n [holds his hand tight] Your going to be ok don't speak K-King went to go get the bandages. All you have to do is-
Y/n: I-Im s-sorry I-I'm not goin-
Me: [tears start to fall] Stop, don't say anything else. Save your strength.
Y/n: Luz I-I
Me: Please! [squeezes his hand and looks at him with a sad look] Don't. Just stay with me.
Y/n: [smiles weakly] I-I'm so glad w-we became f-friends.
Me: [shakes her head] Y-Y/n please.
Y/n: [eyes begin to close] T-t-thank you for b-being the g-girl I lo- [eyes fully shut and his body goes limp]
I held his limped hand as my tears kept falling on his face. I sobbed and stayed there crying pleading that all of this was just a bad dream.
Me: Y-y-y/n don't leave me. [voice cracked] I need you.
Nothing, no heartbeat, no movement, nothing. He was gone, the boy I was in love with was now gone.
Me: [tears fall on him] Te amo con todo mi corazón y alma [kiss his forehead]
I held his head on my lap as I just continued to cry. Then something started to happen, a circle started to form around us. I wiped the tears off my face as I saw fire surrounding us. I held Y/n body close as the fire started to close on us. I closed my eyes ready for some kind of burn to happen on my skin, but I felt nothing. I open my eyes to see the fire passing right through me and entering Y/n body. As the fire does this his wounds start to heal some of them disappearing others leaving it as a scare. Eventually the fire disappeared inside Y/n and the circle was gone. I put my head on Y/n's chest and I started to hear his heart beat.
Me: Y-Y/N?
He slowly starts to get up and grabs the top of his head as he grounds in pain.
Y/n: Ow. My head is killing me [looks around] What happened?
Me: [says worried] Y-Y/n?
Y/n: [turns around] Luz.
I charged right at him and hugged him as we both fell on the ground. He groaned in pain but I didn't care he came back.
Y/n: [groans] Luz still injured her-
Me: You came back! [breaks down crying] I was so scared I thought I lost you!
I felt him put his arms around me hugging me.
Y/n: I'm sorry Luz.
Me: idiota. [buried my face in his shoulder] Just hold me.
We then heard the baby dragon come walking with King by he said but I just stayed buried in his shoulder.
Y/n: Guess I worried you guys, sorry. [hears the little dragon whimper as he pets it]
3RD POV
We cut to Eda slowly waking up with a straw in her mouth. She sits up, takes the straw out of her mouth and turns her head only to notice that half her face was still cursed. Freaking out, she puts the straw back in her mouth and drinks more of the potion as her face starts to go back to normal and her orb turns back into gold.
Eda: Ahh! [slurps and returns to normal] W‐What happened? Oh, I have the worst headache. And my mouth tastes like roadkill. [gags, retches]
She coughs up the Snaggleback. Gross.
Snaggleback: I'm just gonna... lie here for a minute.
Eda: [grabs the potion] Hmm? I was looking for that.
King: [walking over] Actually, we found an extra one in your closet.
Eda: King? King! You stole my elixir? I ought to break every bone in your‐‐
King: Shh! [whispering] Over there.
Eda turned her hand and saw Y/n on Luz's lap as she was surrounded by balls of light. She was drawing another glyph on the paper as it closed up and became light. While Y/n was watching from her lap he had a deep blush on his face as he held his hands together with the baby dragon on his stomach sleeping.
Y/n: [blush] Luz do I have to lay here can't I just- [gets cut off by Luz's glare] Never mind shutting up now.
See Luz told Y/n to take it easy for a bit and Y/n was about to protest and say he could help but she gave him a skulding glare which made him shut up. Now why was he on her lap you may ask? Because Luz wanted him to, he was trying to tell her how embarrassing it would be but as usual she gave him a glare that made him change his mind. And secretly he was actually enjoying it.
Eda: Wow. How is she doing that? And why are they like that?
King: I don't know, but she did it all on her own. As for why, I'm guessing Luz was very worried about Y/n since he almost died
Eda: [shocked] Wait what!?
Luke: [sits up] Can you keep it down? I'm trying to sleep over here?
Eda turns her head and sees Luke sitting up with his hand over his head.
Eda: Geez what happened to you?
Luke: [groans] I could say the same to you.
Luz: We can explain that.
Both Eda and Luke turned their heads and saw both Y/n and Luz approaching them with Luz dragging Y/n by his arm and baby dragon on Y/n's head. When they got there they sat down with Luz a bit close to Y/n.
Luke: [smirkes] It seems you two have gotten close.
Y/n: [blushes] W-well
Luz: [nods her head] Yep.
Everyone was actually shocked by Luz's quick response.
Luke: Huh ok wasn't expecting that.
Eda: Anyway [looks at Y/n] you almost died?
Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] Oh right you two don't remember do you.
Both Eda and Luke tense when he said that.
Luke: [worried] How bad was it?
Y/n looks at Luz and she nods her head. He moved his shirt collar down from his right side first to show bite marks that became a scar and then he showed the same thing on his left side as well. He then lifted his shirt a little to show a stab wound that healed up and then became a scar as well. While he was doing that Luz was trying her best not to blush seeing all this. But Eda and Luke both looked at it with guilt knowing they hurt their friend/pupil.
Eda: [sad] Kid, I'm so sorry.
Luke: [head down with shame] We didn't mean to
Y/n: [puts his hand up and throws it around] Uh guys it's fine don't worry I know you two didn't have any self control and you wouldn't hurt me on purpose. [scratches the back of his head] hehehe.
Both Eda and Luke look at Y/n as he just sits there with a smile on his face trying to cheer them up.
Luke: [sighs and smiles] Yea I forgot that's just the kind of guy you are.
Luz: What happened to the both of you anyway?
Eda decided to go first to explain herself.
Eda: I haven't been completely honest with you guys. When I was younger, I was cursed. I don't know exactly how it happened, all I know is that if I don't take my elixir... Well, that's why people call me the Owl Lady. No one likes having a curse, but if you take the right steps, it's manageable.
Everyone had to process what Eda just said and looked at her with worry.
Y/n: Are you ok?
Eda: There's nothing for you to worry about. It's all under control, and as long as no one steals my elixir ‐‐ King ‐‐ then I'm fine. [looks at Luke] Your turn.
Luke: [looks at everyone and sighs] Lately I've been very careless with my magic. It seems like ever since I got here I somehow gained the ability to absorb magic. But since I haven't been able to use it properly, the build up became too much for my body and turned me into that thing. [looks at his hand] I have no idea what's happening to me and I don't know what's going to happen next nor what am I?
Y/n: The Who should be obvious.
Luke looks up and looks at both Y/n and Luz.
Luz: Your Luke Martins one of our best friends and whatever happens.
Y/n: We'll be there to help you out.
Y/n&Luz: Because we're a team!
Luke looks at his two friends in total shock but at the same time smiles to see how much they care for him.
Hooty: Hey, hey! Is anyone there? Hello? Hoot? I'm on the floor. It's cold!
The moment was interrupted when they heard Hooty's voice.
King: That voice. That horrific voice!
Y/n: [chuckles] looks like Hooty is awake.
Hooty: Luke best buddy help me!
The group tried to hold in their laughter as Luke gave them all a death glare.
Luke: Ha ha laugh it up. [gets up and walks to the door] Let's go help him out before his voice gets even more annoying.
Everyone minus Eda goes up and follows Luke to help Hooty but Y/n stays behind.
Luz: [looks back at Y/n] Hey Y/n aren't you coming?
Y/n: Uhh I'll catch up I need to ask Eda something,
Luz: [looks at Y/n worried] Y/n.
Y/n: [puts his hands up] Don't worry I just want to ask her something.
Luke: [puts his hand on Luz's shoulder] Lets just let them talk.
Luz sighs and follows Luke and King out the room leaving both Eda and Y/n in the room by themselves.
Eda: What is it Y/n?
Y/n: Well doing the chaos I found [pulls out a picture] this.
When Eda saw the picture her eyes widened. In the picture was the same girl with orange hair and the same red hair boy in Bump's picture. The only difference was that the orange hair girl was kissing the red hair boy on the check.
Eda: [gently takes the picture] Where did you-
Y/n: When we were looking for your elixir. [looks at the picture] I only saw my dad once before and it was from an old picture my mom used to have so it was obvious to know that's him. And it isn't that hard to tell that the girl beside him is you.
Eda: [smiles] I guess your aren't that dumb.
Y/n: [sits down] So were you and my dad a thing?
Eda: [sigh] Yea It's funny really he was always the strict one always telling me to stay out of trouble, but I would never listen and continue to do my own thing. [smiles] We started out as friends but as time went on that friendship grew into something more. We eventually started dating and he truly did love me. He understood me, my pain, my struggles hell there were even times he even joined in the pranks I did. And he was a dragon [sly smirk] and he proved that too.
Y/n: [shivers] Didn't need that image in my head. [coughs in his fist] So what happened?
Eda: [frown and looked sad] I [sighs] As soon as I got my curse, your dad, Zack, my mother, everyone I knew tried to find some way to help me. Igneel would spend endless nights trying to find ways to cure it. There were times he would joke about burning it off me. But as time went on, I don't even know why, I started pushing him away.
Y/n: But why?
Eda: [shakes her head] I don't know, maybe I was scared, maybe I thought he was wasting his time with a girl like me. So I said so many hateful things to him and he started saying the same to me. Eventually we fell apart and went our separate ways. As time went on I realized how much I regretted it and I tried to fix what I did but then-
Y/n: He found my mother.
Eda: [nods her head] Yea I was hurt when he found someone else, but at the same time I still wanted him in some parts of my life. So when I tried to approach him and talk to him he said,
Y/n's mother: Dear who is that.
Igneel: [walks away] No one important.
Y/n eye's widen in shock to think his father had pushed someone away then he remembers what Luke said when he and Luz had an argument.
Luke: Do you want to push her away or do you want to hold on to her?
Y/n (Instead of trying to keep his friend he decided to push her away. What the hell dad!?)
Eda: [tears begin to fall] When he said that I was hurt behind hurt I can't remember how long I cried after that. Not only I lost the love of my life but my true friend.
Y/n: Eda.
Eda: [wipes her tears] Always remember these words Y/n If you truly love someone never let them go.
Y/n looks at Eda and nods head.
Eda: [smiles] Well I think that's enough for an emotional episode. Go on and help your friends. I have a feeling Luke is going to do something to Hooty.
Y/n: [smiles and gets up] Yea right [begins to walk out the door] Hey Eda.
Eda: huh?
Y/n: If it makes you feel better [looks back at Eda smiles] You're still the coolest witch I've ever met. [does a thumbs up]
Eda looks at Y/n and sees not only Igneel but Zack too in his place.
Eda: [smiles] (It's really hard to tell sometimes of who you really resemble) [makes a shooing hand motion] Like I don't already know that now get out of her you little rascal.
Y/n nods and starts making his way out, closing the door behind him as Eda lays down and begins to fall asleep.
When Eda woke up she noticed she was in a dark void and in front of her was her old bedroom door.
Eda: No, not this memory again.
The door opens. On the other side is a wavering shadow, two circles of light near the top, back-lit by pure white light.
Eda: You! You're the one who cursed me, aren't you? Who are you? Who are you?
As she tries to reach everything turns white and disappears leaving her in the void again. She groans knowing she couldn't figure out who cursed her. But then she noticed another door was behind her. She walks up and opens it as a bright light blinds her. As the light clears she looks around and sees a teenage Igneel sitting down and leaning on a tree reading a book.
Eda: [shocked] I remember this. This is-
?: IGNEEL!
Eda and the teenage Igneel look up to see a teenage Eda falling from the sky with her hands up looking like she was ready to hug him. The teen dragon slayer just sighs and draws a circle. When the circle was complete two circles appeared on the ground with two fire hands coming out of them. The two hands grabbed the teen witch and held her in the air. They slowly started to bring Eda close to Igneel with Eda having a smile on her face and Igneel with a tired look on his face.
Teen Igneel: [annoyed] You know I hate it when you do that right?
Teen Eda: [giggles] Come on you know you love it.
Teen Igneel: [snaps his fingers] No.
The hands disappeared making the Teen Eda fall right on the ground face first.
Teen Eda: [muffles] Ow. [gets up and dusts herself off] You know I could have gotten seriously hurt.
Teen Igneel: [goes back to reading his book] That's why I caught you.
Teen Eda: That's not what I [sighs and walks up beside Igneel] Whatcha reading?
Teen Igneel: Do you really want to know or are you just bored?
Teen Eda: What can't I just ask what my boyfriend is reading?
Teen Igneel: [looks at her] Knowing you no.
Teen Eda: [hold her hand on her chest] Igy you really know how to hurt a girl's hurt you know that?
Teen Igneel: Learned from the best.
Teen Eda: [stutters] I you [sighs] ok you got me there.
Eda then sits beside him and lays her head on his right shoulder as she watches the sunset.
Teen Eda: Sunset with you are the best.
Teen Igneel: [smiles and wraps his arm around her] Yea [puts his book away] I guess they are.
The two sit there and watch the sunset together and enjoy each other's company. Older Eda watches this as she starts to tear up remembering that this was one of the best moments of her life with Igneel.
Teen Eda: [buries her head into his chest and whispers] I hope we can stay like this forever.
Teen Igneel: Did you say somethin Eda?
Teen Eda: [gets up and blush] Nothing. Not a thing.
Teen Igneel: [smiles] Silly.
Igneel gently grabs Eda's chin with his index finger and thumb and leans her head up as he looks into her eyes. They both slowly start to lean in until they both capture each other's lips with a kiss. They slowly break away with Eda having a blush and a tear running down her face.
Teen Eda: [smiles] I love you my dragon prince.
Teen Igneel: [smiles] I love you two my little owlet.
Everything starts to go white until the scene changes back to Eda laying down as tears are falling on both sides of her face. Eda starts to wake up and whips the tears off her face. She sits up and looks around to notice she is back in her room in her nest. She sighs and sees the picture of her and Igneel. She grabs the picture and looks at it.
Eda: Igneel. [lays back down in her nest and holds the picture over her chest as tears begin to fall] I miss you so much.
Y/n POV
As I was walking back down to Luz and the others I stopped at the edge of the hallway and sighed.
Y/n: Hey Zack are you there?
Zack: [appears in front of Y/n] What's up?
Y/n: [looks down] Is what she said true?
Zack: [sighs] Yea. When we first met Eda I could already tell she would be a troublemaker. [floats in the air] It actually shocked me when I found out old Igneel asked her out.
Y/n: [looks at Zack] He asked her out first?
Zack: [nods his head] Crazy right. I never thought he would be the one to make the first move. [looks up at the ceiling] Man the days I've seen them together I never seen Igneel so happy. Who would've thought a girl that caused so much trouble could help someone like him break out of his strict shell?
Y/n: But they still-
Zack: Yea they did. When Eda got her cursed she wanted me to still follow my dreams to find someone that I thought would be my living legacy. She showed me she had a way to get me into the human world seeing as I was having trouble finding someone here. I tried my best to protest that I wanted to help her but she begged me to go. [sighs] So I did but I always came back to check on her from time to time.
Y/n: You still stayed with her?
Zack: Of course she was my friend. Eventually I started liking the human world so there would be times I would come visit her to use her portal [sweats] it cost a lot of money though.
Y/n: She didn't seem like she would let you use it for free. But what happened next?
Zack: [looks down] This is when I found out about the break up. When I would visit her I would often tease her about her and Igneel. One day when I teased her [scratches the back of his head] man, I had never seen her so sad and mad at the same time before. She kicked me out of her house and told me to find another way back into the human world.
Y/n: That bad huh?
Zack: Me and her eventually patch things up but before that I need to find out what had happened between them so I went to Igneel to get some answers and well.
Y/n: You saw him with my mother.
Zack: Yea I didn't need to be smart to realize it and I also didn't want to open up closed wounds so I just dropped it entirely. I still stayed friends with both of them. But the thing is [looks at Eda's door] I never knew that both of them completely cut each other off.
Y/n: [looks at Eda's door] Yea.
Zack: [puts his hand on Y/n shoulder] Be better than us Y/n. Don't throw your friends away, don't cut them off. And most importantly [fades away] Hold on to the ones you love the most.
As Zack begins to fade I start to replay his and Eda's words in my head over and over again. I want to keep the people I have made friends with close to me at all times. Willow, Luke, Gus, King, and Eda all of you will always be my friends. And Luz she. She is someone that I love and I will never let go ever. With a new confidence in my heart I begin walking down to the other until I hear baby dragon.
Baby Dragon: [whines]
Y/n: [looks at his head] Oh hey Little guy guess you heard all of that huh? [grabs him and holds him in his arms] Lets go get you someplace to lay do-
Baby Dragon: [whisper] I-Igneel.
My whole body just stopped and shook when he said that. How? Did he overhear his name or something? But then
Baby Dragon: [crying whispering] Igneel w-w-where did you go?
This baby Dragon knew my dad. So many questions enter my mind. How does he know him? Was he his pet? Did he abandon him?
Me: Dad what the hell did you do to these people?
3rd POV
After helping out Hooty, and stopping Luke from choking him, Everyone decides it's time for bed. Y/n is sleeping peacefully with baby dragon and King sleeping on both sides of him. While Luz is up and looking out the window replaying the events that happened today.
Luke: [knocks on Luz's door] Having trouble sleeping?
Luz turns around to see Luke leaning on her doorway looking at her with a grin.
Luz: [smiles and turns back out the window] Hey Luke.
Luke: [walks up and stands beside her] How's it going?
Luz: Just [sighs] thinking about what just happened today.
Luke: I see. [looks at Luz] I notice you and Y/n were a lot closer today. I mean you were more bolder then before usually you be too embarrassed to even sit beside him that close. I think you two are finally making progr-
Luke sees Luz with her hands in her face as steam is coming out.
Luz: [embarrassed] P-p-please don't remind me about a-all of that.
Luke: [sweats] (Ok nevermind back to square one.)
Luz: [takes her hand off her face] I only did that because well I lost him. I thought if I didn't stick close to him then he would disappear again.
Luke: I see.
There was some silence for a bit until Luz said something.
Luz: Hey Luke. [looks at him] Is everything ok with you?
Luke: I [grabs his head] It's hard to explain Luz (I mean where do I begin that I have a demon in my head I can't control and know nothing about? That I've been trying to control this new dark power I have?)
Luz: Well like me and Y/n said we will be there if you want to talk.
Luke was shocked when she said this and smiled.
Luke: You're more understanding than usual.
Luz: Well ever since the wizard incident I learned to be more patient with my friends' privacy.
Luke: I see 'friends' huh?
Luz: What are you implying?
Luke: Is [points to the wall] he still a friend or is he something more now?
Luz: [blushes] W-well I [sighs] I don't know when he died I told him I loved him but he was gone when I did. I felt so much pain in my chest not getting the chance to tell him when he was alive. But then when he came back the pain slowly started to disappear. And I realized I should tell him so I don't go through that again.
Luke: [smiles] That's the spirit.
Luz: [smiles fade and says embarrassed] But I can't.
Silence.
Luke: [confused] Huh?
Luz: [covers her face] Don't look at me like that! [uncovers her face and embarrassed] I just don't have the courage to tell him how I feel.
Luke: [yells] (WOMAN YOU JUST SAID YOU CAN'T BEAR THE THOUGHT OF NOT TELLING HIM!)
Luz: It's just that I'm scared that if I do then he won't feel the same way and I'll end up losing one of my closest friends.
As much as Luke wants to tell her that what she was thinking was absurd and tell her that Y/n also feels the same for her he couldn't. True love works if both parties figure out one anothers feelings on their own. Though at the same time it still pissed Luke off for how they have yet to notice how one feels about the other.
Luke: [sighs] I can't tell you when and where you should confess to him but I want you to ask yourself. Do you want to take the risk and tell the person how you feel? Or continue to hold on to the feelings living in regret and wishing for something you could have had?
Luz just looks at Luke with a shocked face as to what he said. Luke starts to walk to the door.
Luke: Well I'll leave you to think more about it [looks back at Luz] always remember your true love comes once in your life never lose it. [closes the door]
Luz looks back out the window and thinks about what Luke said.
Luz: True love huh? [thinks about Y/n and blushes] More time. Just a little more time and I'll tell you I promise.
With that Luz starts to go to bed with a lot on her mind. Soon she would confess to Y/n.
Luke POV
As I was making my way back to my room I started to remember when I started to wake up in the black room. That bastard.
Flashback
I started to wake up and all the pain I felt in my body was gone. I looked around and noticed I was back in the black room, with the same suit on like always. I started to look around and I saw the demon looking at the door sighing.
Little demon: [sigh] Just when things were getting good. I hate interruptions.
Me: YOU!
Little demon: Oh right, you're awake.
I grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against a nearby wall as I raised my left fist in the air ready to punch him.
Me: You have 5 seconds to explain what you did to me before I beat the yell out of you!
Little demon: [bored look] You know you really should calm down
Me: 5!
Little demon: I'm serious. Your anger is causing this room to become more and more black. Not that I mind but red makes it look less boring.
Me: 4! 3!
Little demon: Come on Luke at least try to calm down a little.
Me: 2!
Little demon: You're running my passions.
Me: Times up asshole!
I tried to punch him but some shadow hands grabbed both my arms, legs, and grabbed me by the neck. The grib around them tightens, hurting my body.
Me: [chokes] What.. T-the H-hell!?
Little Demon: [dust himself off and walks up to me] Now I'm going to say this one more time.
His voice started to sound sinister.
Little Demon: Calm. The. Hell. Down.
He looks at me with eyes that could kill me with a single strike. I could feel my body shake but at the same time I kept my composure. I breathe in and out and slowly start to calm down.
Little Demon: There we go. [the shadow hands start to disappear] That's better. Here I'll put on some smooth jazz.
He walks over and plays that same song as always but from some reason it was more relaxing than annoying. I start to look around and notice that the room started to become less darker than before.
Little Demon: Come sit I made some coffee just the way you like it.
I look over to the demon and see him with a smile on his face as he takes a sip of the coffee. All I did was walk over there, sat down and glared at him.
Little Demon: What? Not going to drink it?
I just continue to glare at him.
Little Demon: [sigh] Well I did say calm down. I didn't say you couldn't glare at me. [puts his hand on his check and his elbow on the desk] So what do you want me to answer?
Me: [glares] What the hell did you do to me?
Little Demon: [sigh] All I did was take control to protect us from that thing, who we found out was Eda. You were injured so someone had to protect this body.
I can't believe this was the excuse he was trying to use. I was doing my best to keep my anger in as I continued to question him.
Me: [irritated] Then how come you killed Y/n?
Little Demon: It was my first time taking control of our body so I guess you can say it didn't turn out too well. Also I didn't realize until the last minute that you were somewhat conscious so that also messed up me controlling the body.
And that's all I needed to set me off.
Me: [gets up and slams my hand on the table] YOU REALLY EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT!?
Little Demon: [puts his hands up] What it's the truth, what would I gain for lying to you?
Me: OH RIGHT I'M SUPPOSED TO THINK YOU SO KINDLY TOOK CONTROL JUST TO PROTECT ME!
Little Demon: [points to him and me] Technically us.
Me: WHATEVER YOU BETTER TELL ME THE TRUTH RIGHT NOW OR-
I was cut off by the same arms that reached and grabbed me again.
Little Demon: Calm. Down.
The same fear I had before came again as I took another deep breath and the hands disappeared again and the room became brighter again. I started to walk away and went to the door.
Little Demon: Oh leaving already?
Me: [back turned] It's obvious you're not going to tell me anything so I have nothing left to say to you. But if you ever and I mean ever try to hurt my friends again.
I turn around and face him with a deadly glare.
Me: I'll Kill you.
I left the room and returned back to the real world.
Flashback End
I don't know what I can do but I need to understand this power and find a way to control it. I open the door to me and Y/n's room to see him still sleeping. I walk over to my bed and lay down and look at him.
Me: Y/n. [pulls out the necklace] I promise to you and her I won't let anything happen to any of you.
I put away the necklace and started to go to sleep.
Demon POV
Sighs I was so close of getting out of this place. What a shame but toying with him is so much fun even though he's a weaker part of me. Poor kid I wonder what's going to destroy you more, the hidden truth you have yet to find or the past life that you blocked out?
HEHE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! IT DOESN'T MATTER ONE WAY OR THE ANOTHER SOON AND VERY SOON I'LL TAKE OVER AND THIS AND ALL WORLDS WILL RETURN TO DARKNESS AND DESPAIR FROM ONCE IT CAME! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
