It had been two eventful days since the troll incident at Hogwarts, and the atmosphere at the school had slowly returned to normal. In the midst of all the excitement, the Ravenclaws and Gryffindors were gathered on the Quidditch pitch for their flying lessons with Madam Hooch. The sun shone brightly overhead, casting a golden hue on the young witches and wizards as they eagerly awaited their instructor's next move.

Madam Hooch, with her no-nonsense demeanor, stood tall in her black robes and commanded everyone's attention. "Today, we'll be practicing a crucial skill for any Quidditch player - catching the Quaffle!" she announced, holding up the red, slightly deflated ball in her hand.

As Madam Hooch raised the Quaffle into the air, the students watched intently, eager to impress their instructor and show off their flying abilities. The ball hovered there for a moment before she suddenly released it, sending it flying high into the sky.

One by one, the students attempted to catch the Quaffle as it soared through the air, but it proved to be more challenging than they had expected. Many of them missed, and some of them fumbled, barely managing to touch it before it fell to the ground.

Harry Potter, however, seemed to be a natural. He flew gracefully through the air, his broom responding to his every command. With focus and determination, he locked his eyes on the Quaffle as it descended from above. The crowd held their breath as Harry extended his arm, stretching out his fingers, and managed to catch the ball with a triumphant grin before it could touch the ground.

Cheers erupted from his Gryffindor and Ravenclaw friends alike as Harry returned to the ground, feeling an adrenaline rush like never before. Even Madam Hooch nodded in approval. Eddie Carmichael, one of Harry's close friends from, clapped him on the back excitedly.

"That was brilliant, Harry! You should definitely try out for the Quidditch team," Eddie suggested with enthusiasm.

Harry's eyes lit up at the idea, but he hesitated. "You really they will allow a first year join" he asked modestly.

"Absolutely! You've got natural talent, mate. You caught that Quaffle like a seasoned Chaser! They'd be mad to say no" Eddie replied, his confidence in Harry unwavering.

Harry couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of playing Quidditch for his house team. Gryffindor had a long-standing tradition of producing great Quidditch players, and he could now envision himself flying through the air, representing his house in the thrilling sport.

Encouraged by Eddie's words, Harry made up his mind. "Alright, I'll give it a shot. But I'll need all the practice I can get," he said determinedly.

From that day on, Harry devoted himself to improving his flying and Quidditch skills. With Eddie who was a quiddich fanboy teaching him tons of tip and tricks. He spent every spare moment on his broom, soaring through the skies, practicing catching and throwing the Quaffle, and honing his reflexes. Eddie and some other friends joined him, offering their support and camaraderie.

"C'mon, Harry can't score on me, huh?" taunted Eddie

"Oh, you just wait Carmichael, I'm gonna throw this quaffle so fast you won't even see it" replied Harry

"Try me"

"Alright"

Harry started zooming past Marcus, his Ravenclaw housemates cheering him on from the sidelines. With each practiced maneuver, he felt a growing sense of confidence in his flying abilities. As he approached Eddie, who was standing near the goal hoops, he had a mischievous glint in his eye.

Harry dodged and weaved through the air, expertly avoiding the Bludgers that Madam Hooch had released into the pitch. He could feel the wind rush against his face, and the thrill of the game filled his entire being. Gathering speed, he swooped downwards, the Quaffle tucked securely under his arm.

Eddie, determined to prove his skills as a keeper, positioned himself in front of the middle hoop, his eyes focused on Harry as he closed in for the shot. With a flick of his wrist, Harry sent the Quaffle spinning through the air, aiming for the right hoop.

Eddie reacted swiftly, moving to block the shot, but Harry's throw was so fast that it left Eddie momentarily stunned. The Quaffle soared past him, and a triumphant smile spread across Harry's face as the red ball sailed cleanly through the middle hoop.

The Ravenclaws erupted into cheers, proud of their housemate's incredible shot. Harry's heart swelled with happiness as he flew back towards them, feeling the camaraderie and support of his new friends.

Eddie smiled with a little push Harry really could be incredible.

From that moment on, Harry's reputation as a skilled Quidditch player spread throughout the Ravenclaw house, as he continued to practice diligently, honing his flying skills and refining his technique. He was determined to make his house proud and to represent Ravenclaw

The Quidditch team captain Roger Davis, caught wind of the young wizard's prowess and decided to watch him in action during one of his practices.

He and Professor Flitwik arrived at the field to see Harry Harry zipped through the air with finesse, displaying his impressive flying and Quidditch skills. Professor Flitwick and Roger Davis watched in awe as he effortlessly caught and threw the Quaffle, executing precise maneuvers and evading Bludgers. After observing Harry's performance, Roger Davis approached him with a smile.

"Harry, that was exceptional flying out there! You've got real talent. How would you like to join the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as a Chaser?" he asked, clearly impressed by Harry's abilities.

Harry couldn't believe his ears, a mix of excitement and pride filling him. "Really? I'd be honored to be a part of the team!" he replied, his grin widening.

Roger Davis clapped him on the back. "Welcome aboard, then! You'll make a fantastic addition to the squad. Keep up the hard work, and we'll have a great season ahead!"

With that, Harry officially became a member of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, realizing that his dream of flying in the competitive wizarding sport had come true. As he celebrated with his Eddie, Marcus, Daphne and Tracey in the kitchens where the elves provided them with butterbeer,

"So you just asked the twins and they told you?" Said Eddie in disbelief

Harry chuckled and nodded, recalling the amusing encounter. "Yeah, they were talking about all the hidden passages in Hogwarts, and they happened to mention the one that leads to the kitchens. Fred and George are always full of surprises," Harry replied, taking another sip of his butterbeer.

Eddie shook his head in awe. "Those two are something else. I can't believe they know all these secret passages and hidden spots in the castle."

"They certainly do," Harry agreed with a grin. "They're like Hogwarts experts. Anyway, thanks to them, we found our way to the kitchens, and the house-elves were kind enough to provide us with some butterbeer to celebrate."

The rest of their friends joined in the conversation, sharing their own experiences and funny encounters at Hogwarts.

Marcus then brought up an upcoming Hogsmeade trip, and everyone started discussing the shops and attractions they wanted to visit. "I heard there's a new bookstore with some rare magical texts. I'm definitely going there," said Daphne, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Eddie added, "I want to try the new sweets shop. I heard they have these amazing chocolate frogs with special surprises inside."

"Yea, but you need to be third years to go right" added Daphne

"Ya, but the twins also told me that there is a way to Hogsmeade from the castle, if I get them to tell me where it is we can go!" said Harry

The group's excitement grew as they discussed the possibility of sneaking into Hogsmeade using one of the secret passages that Fred and George had mentioned. They all knew that only third-year students and above were allowed to visit the village, but the prospect of exploring the magical shops and trying the famous sweets was too tempting to resist.

Eddie's eyes widened with intrigue. "Really, Harry? That would be brilliant! The twins might be mischievous, but they sure know how to make things interesting. We could have our own little adventure in Hogsmeade."

Daphne grinned mischievously. "I'm in! It sounds like a thrilling plan. Just imagine the look on everyone's faces when they find out we managed to sneak into Hogsmeade."

Tracey raised an eyebrow, expressing a hint of caution. "But isn't it risky? We could get caught and get into serious trouble."

Harry nodded, understanding her concern. "You're right, Tracey. It's definitely risky, and I don't want anyone to get into trouble because of me. Let's think it through before we decide anything."

Marcus chimed in, "Maybe we should talk to the twins and see what they say. They could give us some advice on how to go about it safely."

As they continued discussing the pros and cons, they all agreed to approach Fred and George to gather more information about the secret passage. They knew that the twins' knowledge could be valuable in ensuring a smooth and safe trip to Hogsmeade.

With a newfound sense of adventure and camaraderie, they enjoyed the rest of the evening, savoring their butterbeer and making plans for their upcoming flying lessons and Quidditch practices. The prospect of exploring Hogsmeade together added an extra layer of excitement to their time at Hogwarts.

As the sun set over the castle, the group of friends decided to head back to their common rooms, looking forward to another day of magical learning and, perhaps, a secret adventure that would make their time at Hogwarts even more memorable.
