Chapter Two: The Two Realms

Luciana looked over the room of gathered 1ps, making sure that not a single one that was supposed to be at the meeting they had earlier with the exception of his and his closest friend's counterparts who were already at the mansion. Thankfully, all of them were there just shaken by what had happened. But something bothered her, the Onis were outside of the mansion… Luciana knew what this meant. The man behind all of this was getting more powerful and needed to be taken care of sooner rather than later.

As for the nations themselves they were more concerned with trying to contact their friends and family that had when into the mansion in vain or attending to the many injured nations in the room. The ancients on the other hand looked after their children. Thankfully, most of the families of the nations that had entered the mansion were for the most part unharmed despite being targeted the most out of all the nations.

For the most part things were going well but Luciana was not letting her guard down yet. She knew better than that from her many loops within the mansion and her grandfather's teachings. Shen she and her older brother had lived with him, he spent hours teaching them how to fight. One of the first rules that they had been taught that their grandfather drilled into their heads time and time again was, one, never let your guard down around your enemy, two always remember where you, your allies and your enemy are on the battlefield and three always remember to expect the unexpected from your enemy and try to read their moves.

Luciana had memorized and took these lessons and had instilled them into her younger brother Rosso Vargas and her younger sister Monica Vargas from the days they became old enough to learn to fight with help from Flavio and her finance Luther. Her brother had memorized them has well but not to the extent that she had, He preferred to focus on running their nation and attending to his fashion business that he ran in his free time something their grandfather had taken into account when thinking how he would raise them. Luciana didn't blame him for that and knew that when the going got rough she could count on him to join the fight if needed.

She knew that she'd be a fool to forget the lessons that they had learned as children now that she had taught them to another personification and that she was fighting an enemy that was extremely powerful and dangerous. Diavolo was a cunning man and so were his colleagues. Simple, easy to use strategies would not work against him… No, they needed strategies that were dynamic, flexible and could be mobilized quickly. Ones that would keep him off his toes and their friends standing without giving the enemy a chance to respond to them.

That was why she had so many plans at the ready and had called in every nation kind from her world and had them bring as many resources as they could to the plan. While she had spent many loops within the mansion walls she didn't interact with Diavolo and his colleagues that much at all. They mostly liked to keep to themselves. On the one hand it allowed them to avoid the enemy knowing too much about them on the other hand it prevented them from knowing much about them in turn.

She had to be careful about what she did from here on in. Currently there was no evidence that Diavolo knew about Luciana's actions. Which was no surprise considering that he was always thinking about the "game" that he was playing with his victims, but if he sensed that she had used her time magic to cross the world barrier then he'd start to pay attention to the outside of the mansion grounds. That was something that she couldn't afford to let happen. The majority of her plan was reliant on him not knowing of her presence and though she had a few that didn't she preferred to avoid using those if she could help it since to probability of someone permanently dying was too high in those chases.

Her grandfather came up to her with a calm but angered expression. Something that Luciana had seen many times back when she was living with him. "We've checked, and everyone is here except for the mansion group. Yin Germania, Siegfried is ready to get their attention when you're ready."

"Thanks Gramps the sooner things get started the better. Tell Siegfried to signal for the meeting to start in 10 I have some matters to attend to before that. Is the meeting hall still secure?" Luciana asked her grandfather.

"Ita the yang ancients and I are patrolling and that kid you recruited has placed some more spells in addition to the ones you placed earlier." Remus stated calmly has Luciana calmly nodded. Looking around one more time she nodded.

"Alright thanks gramps could you bring, my brother' counterpart here please? I need to check some things before we start the meeting." Luciana nodded as she went into a small office room next to the meeting room and opened a bag that she had three books in. She took the third book out and opened it.

Feliciana Loop 9,999,997 (Believed to be Loop 49,999,998)

Groups of Entry: Axis + Gilbert and Allies + Madeline

Log of Events:

Day 1: The loop begins as normal for a loop with this grouping.

Day 2: Meal piece found in library room by Sakura.

Day 3: Alfred noted that they were running low on food in their safe place. He went down to the kitchen not knowing that it was nighttime with Arthur, Francine and Madeline and were found by two normal type grade 2 things… they attempted to fight then but Alfred and Arthur became heavily injured leading to Alfred's death.

Day 4: Feliciana, Ludwig, and Sakura made their way down to the basement only to be attack again by five normal type grade 1s resulting in Sakura gaining severe injuries leading them to retreat but not before finding one of the metal pieces and breaking a clock.

Day 6: Yao and Feliciana went to the lever room and fought 2 normal type grade 1 things. Resulting in Ludwig death. On the way back Feliciana broke another clock.

Day 7: Feliciana and Ludwig make their way into the annex where they are attacked by 5 normal type grade 3 causing Ludwig to die while protecting Feliciana. After that Feliciana finds the clock and resets the timeline, ending the loop.

Notes:

The phenomenon of Sakura experiencing points in a loop that have yet to take place in the current loop seems to have gotten stronger in this loop to the point of seeming to almost relive them.

Luciana studied the log carefully along with a number of entries into her own journal. After a moment someone else entered the room. She looked up to see that it was Lovino. "Good to see you could make it here." She said with a smirk has Lovino sat down in the offered chair.

"Yeah you bet I'm here because I have a bunch of questions for you and you better answer them you hear. For starters Why the in the hell do you and your brother look like us? Hell why do all your friends look like the others?" Lovino started with an angry tone.

"It's because we are all parts of the personification of the same country for example me and Felice are both Northern Italy and you and my fratello Flavio are also both South Italy. Every country has two personification one meant to govern and the other to protect. That's how it was in the distant past… Until our world was split in two. We are currently in what we call the Yin realm where you and the other Yin personification reside. Until now, except for me, Felice, and Madeline and Madelina with some restrictions no one could travel across the two realms. Over time it has weakened so that some are able to travel between the realms or talk to their counterpart through the mirrors now that barrier has been weakened enough that nations can travel through them without much of a problem." Luciana smiled at her brother's counterpart calmly.

Romano frowned and asked, "Why are you only here now? After two world wars and years after the second one at that." Luciana just sighed and nodded.

"We don't know for sure, but what I believe is it's because of the situation that you've been dealing with. You know, the one about the mansion and our sorellina. The deaths, the time loops, the things? You and I both know we can't leave her to deal with it by herself anymore." Luciana smirk knowing that Lovino wouldn't be able to dismiss the fact that she knew all of this.

"How… how do you know about all of that?!" Lovino asked with a surprised look on his face. Just as Luciana had predicted Lovino didn't ignore the facts that she had just brought up despite the fact that she should not have been able to know.

"It's simple, you see, just like you and my Felice share a connection with one another Felice and I share one as well. Anything that Felice has forgotten in the mansion, including the loops where she died. I become the holder of those memories alongside you." Luciana explained with a clam tone.

"How do have such a thing and how come I've never heard you guys before?" Lovino asked with a frown. Surely if something like this was possible he would have heard about it right? Despite the fact that people seem to think that his grandfather favored Feliciana due to their masks Rome had simply understood that Felice didn't like war and Lovino was more suited for it. Something that Lovino appreciated even today.

"In the beginning our worlds were one and the same. One day humanity, not liking that humans didn't have complete control of their governments and that it was a minority that had that control decided that if they were going to defeat them they need to weaken them first by taking away the 'guardian personifications' has we were called back then. However what they didn't know was that without one personification the other cannot exist. It's the same reason that Prussia and you are still alive today. It's also the reason that instead of dying we were transported to a separate realm." Luciana smiled at Lovino calmly.

Lovino then thought of another question. "If that's why both me and Prussia are alive then that means our counterparts are still nations right? Then why is Prussia healing ability weaker than the rest of ours?"

"It's because while your country still exist in both realms Prussia's hadn't until recently. In time it will return but only so long has both Prussia's continue to remain nations." Luciana explained with a calm and understanding tone.

"I see… I think I get it." Lovino nodded has he processed all the information that he had just been given. With that in mind Lovino brought out a blue leather book that they had found a few ten thousand loops back.

"I found this book a number of loops back. It seems to allow me to take notes that stay even after Felice turns back the clock. I think we should compare notes and see if we can find out anything else about that place." Lovino stated with a frown. Luciana nodded and moved to Lovino's side of the table with Flavio joining them shortly after.

Meanwhile outside of the office 1p Iceland, otherwise known has Emy Stielsson was in the main room being fussed over by his big brother 1p Norway, otherwise known has Lukas Bondevik when suddenly a voice called "EMY STIELSSON WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"Over here Eydis… Please tell me your family isn't with you?" Emy sighed out knowing what was happening. Lukas turned around to see two people that looked like him and his brother running over to them.

"There you are, I was worried when I saw the Onis running though the town! You're not hurt are you?" The one who looked like Emy asked with a frown.

"I'm alright Eydis, just a few scratches and bruises but over all I'm fine." Emy said with a calm tone while looking at her lookalike.

"Thank goodness for that. Emy nearly ran to find you as soon as she saw the Oni's were in the town. I actually had to have Tanja restrain him for a while. I'm glad to see no one else in your group seems to have gotten hurt." Lokki, 2p Norway commented has he looked over the other Nordics.

Meanwhile Hong Kong, otherwise known has Li Xiao Chun, was with his siblings barring Sakura and Yao. When suddenly his counterpart and all of his siblings joined them at the table. "So you two met when you were forced to live with Britain?"

"Yeah that's right, we didn't get to meet in person mind you, but we did talk through the mirrors. It was nice having him around to talk to, but I never really got to know his siblings. I guess you could say their my half siblings? Family dynamics can get confusing when you add these guys into the mix." Li commented.

"Yeah they really do, speaking of seems like there's more people here that know their yang self's than I thought." Tai Yang Chun, 2p Hong Kong commented with a smile has he pointed out the many excited and positive reactions of the 1ps around the room.

"Oh, yes I was thinking the same thing, but if they had contact before now wouldn't they be in the registry? Yue Xiao, 2p Taiwan asked with a frown.

"What registry are you talking about?" Im Yong Soo, the 1p personification of South Korea asked in curiosity. Tai looked over to him and gave him a smile.

"When a 2p and 1p first meet they have to report to the ambassadors for both worlds. That's both of the north Italian personifications. Basically they have a log of the relations between the 1p and 2p of each. It's basically to make sure that when the two realms remerged naturally the situation wouldn't be quite has messy has it could be." Tai explained calmly with Li nodding in agreement.

"Oh… that makes a lot of since. Though I guess that won't be necessary anymore." Mei agreed with a smile. Soon enough Siegfried called for the meeting to begin, and everyone made his way to their seats.
