Epilog

The sound of the music was a faraway whisper in the night. Under the moonlight, Haruka and Michiru had their own little moment of kitsch on the beach nearby the mansion. The waves made a calming sound. Closing her eyes, the violinist pressed her body tighter to the taller woman. Standing on the sand in a loving embrace, they enjoyed the silence together. But the strange feeling never left Michiru. A sudden urge to walk awhile came over her. She took Harukas hand in hers and lead her a few steps away from the light and noise of the party.

"Where are we going?" The racer cached up with a nervous smile on her face. It was nearly not noticeable in the pale moonlight. "I just want to clean my mind from all the thoughts that came into it, since I looked into my mirror." Haruka sighed. "It is worse, isn't it?" The shorter woman shrugged. There were no words to describe the feeling she had. It was like mist. Every time she tried to reach out her hand, it disappeared. Haruka laid her arm around her wife's shoulder. She could feel the trouble in the others' heart. In all those years they perfectionated the min dreading.

As they walked, a shooting star appeared on the horizon. "Look. You can make a wish." Michiru rolled her eyes. Sometimes her wife could be very dorky. But she loved it. "Let's see." "Oh, don't tell me, or it won't come true!" The violinist giggled. "Come her." They stopped so Michiru could get on her toes to place a kiss on her wife's cheek.

"When you two get any sweeter, I have to go to the dentist." Haruka grimaced. This voice was all too familiar to her. And every time she heard it, anger filled her heart. "You!" Michiru grabbed Haruka on her shirt, so she doesn't storm forward onto the person that stepped out of the shadow of a big stone. "Good evening to you too, Seya" welcomed Michiru the newcomer friendly. "Hey, lovely!" Seya saluted her, while Haruka gritted her teeth. "What are you doing here?" The singer stepped closer, kissing Michiru on the hand and stretching their own to greet Haruka. But the racer didn't move. Instead, she crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Well," Seya said, laughing a bit nervously. "I am here to tell you, that our princess will visit the earth soon. We need your help." Haruka snorted. "You lived long enough on this planet to know that we have phones here. Nowadays, you can also send an e-mail." Michiru gave her a warning look. She was always the softer part when it came to Seya and the Sailor Stars. "Then tell us, why do you need our help?" Shyly, Seya looked down on their feet. "Princess Kakyuu and I are… we are. I never knew this would be so hard." Haruka rolled her eyes. "Are you planning a skiing holiday on Mount Fuji?" A sudden pain rushed through her body after Michiru hit her with her elbow. "Ouch!" "Deserved," muttered the violinist.

"It is something like that. Our planet is still in the rebuild phase, but we can no longer wait, I think." Seya talked more to themselves than the other two guardians. "Alright. Kakyuu and I are getting married. And we want a nice place…" But Seya had no chance to talk further, because Michiru jumped on their neck, hugging them cheerfully. "Congratulation!" "Yes, yes" mumbled Haruka. "But you just could send a letter. Why are you lurking in the dark waiting for us?" And ruining our romantic evening, Haruka added in mind. Seya took a deep breath, letting their eyes wander over the ocean. "The thing is, some enemies attacked us in the last months. And I want my princess save. So I need your help." Michiru nodded with sympathy. "You know, we need the permission of our own princess." In the moonlight, Haruka could see a bright grin appear on Seya's face. "No problem!" And at this moment, Usagi jumped from behind the stone. "Surprise!" Haruka nearly got a heart attack. But Michiru greeted the younger woman with great joy. "So good to see you!" Just Haruka groaned. "Has no one a phone does days?"
