Third person

Jason woke up early the next morning. Sitting on his bed, he began to consider what had all been said and occurred since yesterday. Frist, all of his friends and the majority of his family are alive and in Camelot. Second, almost everyone else from the village is dead. Third, his family has gotten bigger, he's now an uncle which he is sure to tease his brother about later. Finally, that girl Abigail is .. odd, strange, familiar, to him. The kid is definitely attached to the family. She didn't look around like the rest of them. She just kept staring at Jason, Ruby and Arthur the entire length of dinner. Also Dick had mentioned that Ras AL Gaul had her. Why? What is so special about her? How long did Ras have her? Ras taking her sight? What befits would that have?

Jason couldn't stand it anymore more. He got ready, and went down to the training field. The five were already down there. Ruby was on the sidelines, while Damian and Dean spared, Daniel was practicing with his sword, and David was at the Archery range.

Jason grinned. "Ru? Why aren't you practicing?"

She turned, her long gold hair falling behind her in a braid. "I am studying their moves. The better I know their pattern the better I can defeat them."

"While I agree that is important, you need to practice that tactic more so on enemies. When did the five of you wake up?"

"Tt, at the crack of dawn. You slept in like the baby you are." Damian yelled.

"I did get up at the crack of dawn."

"Then why didn't you come down?" Daniel asked. Jason was known for constantly practicing when he wasn't protecting the five.

"Last night, Arthur and Merlin asked for me and my brother Dick to stay behind a while to talk. I was thinking about what he said this morning."

"What did you talk about?" Dean inquired.

"TT, I hope one of those buffoons brought up how they had seven years to travel to Camelot, why are they just coming now?"

"Yes that was brought up Damian. It was because they were on the run. Dick explained that they didn't know who the direct assailants were, but they know who sent them."

"Who?" David asked.

Jason rubbed the back of his neck. He was about to speak when Arthur, Merlin, the rest of the knights of the round table, and the majority of Jason's old friends and family showed up.

"Good, your up. It's time to see what your village is capable of." Arthur slapped Jason on the shoulder.

Jason grinned. "I don't think you'll be disappointed. Who do you want to go first?"

"Hmm, how about Merlin" Arthur grinned as his brother paled.

"I am pretty sure you don't want that. I wouldn't doubt that most of the girls could take him down." Jason joked.

"Oi" Merlin complained.

"Dickhead, who do you want to go first?"

"You and Rose. I want to see her take you down again." Dick grinned ear to ear. Everyone laughed at that.

"I would like to keep my dignity thank you very much.''

Dick shrugged. "You and Grant?"

''Sounds fair to me." Grant stepped forward, a scowl on his face.

Jason grinned. "What still mad that I held you back yesterday?"

"Yes."

"Fine. Sword or mace Grant?"

"Mace works just fine."

The two both grabbed maces, helmets, and shields. They got into position. They stood there for two minutes, then Grant finally made the first move. Jason blocked it easily, moving his leg inside of Grant's to trip him. Grant saw this, and elbowed Jason hard in the face. Jason stumbled back, spitting out blood. Grant grinned, but allowed Jason a minute to catch his breath. Jason glared, then he charged, Grant raised the mace. Jason then summer saluted between Grant's legs, popping up behind him, and hitting him square in the back. Grant got on all fours. Breathing hard.

"Stay down Grant, try again in a hour. Catch your breath." Jason said.

"Fine. No longer." Grant growled.

Jason held his hand out, but Grant pushed it out of the way. Abigail rushed over to help.

"I don't need help Ab's" Grant said, he managed to stand on his own but he was swaying.

"I will decide that. Come on." She took his hand, which was at least the size of her face, and lead him to a bench. After he sat, Abigail brought over water, and a rag to cool him off.

"Is she your personal nurse?" Leon asked, genuinely interested.

"Abigail hates seeing people she cares about hurt. The amount of stitching she's done on all of us.." Dick trailed off.

"Even your kid Dick?'' Jason asked, genuinely concerned.

"No, thank goodness. Mari is the only person spared."

"Alright, Elyan, your up." Arthur called out.

Dick studied Elyan, sizing up him up. "Tim"

Tim came up, looking rather shy and yet studying his opponent.

"What weapon would you prefer?" Elyan asked.

"Umm the staff? I don't like hurting people."

There was questioning looks from those native to Camelot. Jason gave Tim an odd look. The two got into position, Elyan made the first move. He tried to hit Tim in the arm, but Tim simply side stepped. Again Elyan attacked, this time aiming at his leg, Tim jumped. Elyan swung at Tim's head, Tim merely ducked. This show and dance went on for several minutes. Elyan was tiring, Tim finally attacked. Tim used his own staff to trip Elyan. Then he put the end of the staff to Elyan's chest.

"Stay down" Tim commanded.

"You win" Elyan panted.

Arthur started at Tim. "What the bloody hell was that tactic?"

"Let your opponent wear themselves out." Tim responded. He didn't even break a sweat.

"Who's next?" Jason asked.

For the next three hours Dick and Arthur kept calling upon their people to test against each other. Most of the wins were held by Jason's village. Wally took down Leon in two minutes, Duke knocked Merlin out in a minute. Merlin was only passed out for ten minutes with no serious injury, other than his pride. Conner K and Percival had to draw because they were matched in normal skill. Joseph did win when he fought Lancelot, but he promised to show him sign language later that night. Roy out preformed Gwaine with his bow while Gwaine out preformed Roy with his sword. Then Stephanie and Cass had a turn at it, the fight lasted for ten minutes before Stephanie conceded. However the quadtupiltes easily dominated. Daniel beat Bart with one blow, Dean took out Billy in less than a minute. David and Conner Q had a staring contest, which David won after three minutes. Damian easily took Jon out, but it only took him so long to do so due to his annoyance with his opponent.

"Tt, you weakling."

"Oh, I know I am weak. No where near as strong as my brother. This is why he teaches me WOAH." Jon had to back up due to Damian nearly scraping his chest with a sword.

Once Damian successfully knocked out Jon, Jason made a suggestion. "Hey, Dickhead, why don't you and Arthur fight. I defiantly want to see that."

Dick grinned, "I don't want to hurt anyone."

"And I would rather not hurt your brother." Arthur commented.

"Since when is Dick Grayson Wayne a chicken?" Roy commented.

"Come on princess" Gwaine goaded.

After much convincing, the two young leaders made their way to the center of the felid. Arthur had his sword, while Dick had his metal bars (excermina sticks in the comics). Arthur made the first move. He swung his sword at Dick's shoulder, Dick blocked with one bar, then hit Arthur in his exposed side with the other. Arthur grunted, stepping back. He came at Dick again, aiming for his chest. Dick jumped out of the way easily. Dick kept slightly bouncing, never staying in the same place. Arthur managed to corner Dick next to the tent post, Dick grinned ran up the post and flipped, landing behind Arthur.

Jason whistled. "You still got it, circus boy."

Dick put one of his bars against Arthur's throat, "If this was a knife, you would be dead."

Arthur was flabbergasted. 'How on earth did he manage to flip like that? I have only managed that with Merlin's help with magic.' "How?"

Dick grinned sheepishly. "Before our family settled down, we use to travel. We would put performances on. Only Jason was old enough to remember, but he was still too young to participate in the acts. Then when I turned seven, my mother died during a act, so our father made us stop. He didn't want to lose anyone else."

"Jason why didn't you tell use you use to be in circus? We could have so much fun!" Gwaine shouted at Jason.

"You in the circus? That is truly terrifying. It would close before the opening act." Everyone laughed, but the five. "Hey Ru, it's your turn."

"I am not in the mood." Ruby turned her head in disgust.

"You need the practice. Someone other than your brothers or the knights." Jason finally convinced Ruby to fight. "Dickhead, who do you think would be her best opponent?"

Dick mused, then he grinned. "Abigail, your up."

Abigail turned to face her brother. She was at the benches, tending to any injuries her family and friends had received earlier that day. At the moment, she was looking at Jon's head when Damian had hit him to make him pass out. "I need to take care of these dummies who got hurt Dick."

"Come on Ab's. Don't you want to show off?" Dick goateed.

A gleam entered Abigail's deep blue eyes. "Fine, so long as some one else tends to these dummies." She made her way over to the practice field. She faced Ruby, who seemed very stuck up at the moment. "Hi I am Abigail. Call me Abby."

Ruby stuck her nose in the air, "I do not care what your name is peasant. I am merely here to prefect my fighting skills. We will use daggers."

Ruby doesn't typically act like her brothers. Since yesterday, Jason has been too busy to even talk to her once. She was jealous of these people. Jason has been more of a father figure to her than Uther ever has. Jason was always there to protect her, Jason always comforted her, always made her feel better when she was sick, stayed with her when she was in Gaius' chambers. Jason has always been there for her, then these people took Jason from her. She was jealous.

The two girls went for the daggers on the weaponry table. Ruby's back was to the sun, to blind her opponent. Ruby was surprised when the girl didn't react to the sun in her eyes at all. The girl's hair was tucked under a red cloth again, the rest of her dark hair tied in a braid. They got in stance, and both waited for the other to make the first move. Ruby finally grew impatient, she ran at the girl. Abigail merely side stepped and kicked Ruby's side. Ruby stumbled, regained her footing, and fainted to the left. Abigail anticipated her movements and was prepared when Ruby attacked fully on the right. Ruby tried to punch her face, Abigail caught her arm and twisted it. After thirty seconds, Abigail pushed Ruby forward while releasing her arm. Abigail grinned. 'Why does that smile look like Jason's smile? Maybe because she grew up with Jason's family.' Ruby thought to herself.

"Come on. Are you scared that a peasant will beat you?"

Ruby charged, having no plan but to maim. Abigail duck the knife in her left hand, blocked her right kick, and managed to make a shallow cut on Ruby's leg. Ruby hissed; a small triumphant smile was on Abby's face. Ruby charged again receiving more shallow cuts on her arms and legs. After another five minutes, Ruby finally managed to cut Abigail's face. It was much deeper than the cuts Abigail had been inflicting. Abigail's hand found the cut, pulled her fingers back and rubbed her finger tips together, spreading the blood on her hand.

"Not bad. For a precious stone to make that attack."

Ruby was in her own head, not listening to Abigail's words. She charged for a final time, Abigail dropped the knife, and got Ruby in a headlock. Just when she was about to pass out, Abigail released her. Ruby dropped to the ground, gasping for breath. Abigail was walking off of the field.

"Come back and fight you coward" Ruby gasped.

Abigail turned. "Dose a coward show mercy? A coward runs, a knight shows mercy." She began to walk again, when a thought occurred to her and Abigail turned again. "Not bad, but you need to control your anger, stone."

I have a question. Do you guys like it better in third person or first person? Whichever is more popular I will plan to make more of those points of view.
