Ch3
Healing and The Companions
"Well my sweet little Amara I didn't think I would be seeing you so soon. But alas here you are back in the realm of the Gods and goddesses." Said gift as I quickly spun around to look at her only to see her with a big sharp toothy grin on her face. My face instantly went pale at the meaning of her words. "Am I dead already." I asked with a shaky voice. Gift just gave me a look before saying. "No you are not dead... However it was a close call. The blade of that skeleton had cut down right to the Bone... Luckily Kechan not Kenchan had gotten you out of the cave fast enough that Talia was able to use her Earth elemental talent to wrap medicinal roots and leaves around your wound stopping the blood and infection long enough for Kechan to return the Golden Claw where it belongs and to get you to the Companions to be healed." Hearing this I couldn't help but smile at the news however my smile quickly fell as I noticed gift wasn't done talking. "You must be wondering why you're here then... It's simple Time and Fate have both notice that the Dragonborn is suspicious of your story about your past considering you refused to give one... So Time, Fate and some of the other gods and goddesses have graciously made you a story. However some of it you may not like." said Gift with a solemn face.
I waited patiently for the story that I was to tell everyone as well as the bad news that gift was obviously hesitant to tell me. "What is it?" I asked worry clear in my voice. "Time has given you the story of your true past like on Earth... If the Dragonborn or anyone asks you are to tell them the truth just a little differently." said gift as she lifted her head up to look at me with a serious expression before continuing as I waited with bated breath hoping what she was telling me was a lie. "You are to tell anyone who asks that your birth parents are from Solitude and are known as Lord Jacoby Mildrith of the Breton, Argonian race and Lady Zuri Mildrith of the Khajiit, Dark Elf race." I slowly lowered my head as I began to realize where gift was going with this. "And that you are the second born twin of your older Brother Heir Dux Mildrith of the Khajiit, Dark Elf, Breton and Argonian race. But that your brother only looks like he is from the Breton and Dark Elf race unlike you who looks as though you are from all four races. You are to then tell them that when your birth parents saw how different and unnormal you looked when your father only looked as though he had the Breton race in him and your mother looking as though she only had the Dark Elf race in her, but they quickly covered up your birth making it seem as though you died not long after being born and was sent to live with Lady Zuri's step sister Petun Ahearn and her husband Ellery Ahearn with their son Drifa Ahearn who were all from the same race Imperial." I was crying at this point as gift finally stopped to take a breath realizing that this may mean that they were going to be in Skyrim all of them everyone who ever hurt me. "I'm so sorry Amara but it must be done. Your Aunti, Uncle as well as your Cousin not to mention your birth parents and your brother will all be in Skyrim albeit different they will still be there. Your aunt, uncle and your cousin will be living in Downstar a cursed land known for their nightmares and shadows that plague the land... But don't worry you won't have to make up anything. Time has already been making false memories for you and your pretend family." As she said this she gently lifted my head up with her right hand under my chin as she slowly lowered herself to my eye level. "I'm so sorry Amara but this is for the best... Time has made it so you won't have to lie... Can you be strong for me... Don't see these people in Skyrim as your real family they're not."
Gift sighed as she could tell by the big fat tears rolling down my face that her words were not fully getting through to me. Taking another deep breath gift gently lifted me up into her lap as she tilted my head up to look at her as she spoke. "There's something you must know.. Before you were born your mother Lily was struggling to become pregnant and she had made a wish using the ritual I left for earth to use if ever needed and asked me to give her a child... I had tried to tell her that would be extremely difficult considering the circumstances however she would not let me finish. She was desperate for a child and she wasn't going to allow me to explain anything until she had what she wanted... The thing was she was already pregnant with your brother Henry and that was what I was trying to tell her before she made the wish... But it was to late she made it and I had no choice but to give her what she wanted a child... You... So my sweet Amara do not see them as your family because they are not. See me as your mother... I'm the one who created you... I am the one who gave you to that horrid woman that called herself your mother... Despite the fact she abandoned you... With that being said young Amara you are my gift you are my child just like all the magical children every child who was ever born with magic is Gaia's gift, her child, her children. So please don't cry you are mine." With that being said I finally stopped crying as I felt the truth in her words.
Wiping my tears away I looked up at gift before leaning up towards her and giving her a soft kiss on the cheek before pulling back slightly and giving her a slight smile. "You're the best mother ever then." I said as I saw the same door I'd walked through before to go to Skyrim appear in front of us. "Oh hehehe. It looks as though we run out of time my sweet little boy... Oh one more thing for you go... I almost forgot there's a system in Skyrim for those with creature blood like the dark elves and the others where you have a dominant and submissive. A dominant can only get others pregnant and they can't become pregnant themselves. For female dominants it's harder as they don't have the requirements to get someone pregnant so they have a gift for when they find their mate if both of them are ready for a child the magic in their blood as all beings on Skyrim have magic so their magic will slowly form a child using their magic. The submissives are the ones who can only get pregnant they can't get others pregnant even if they're male. That being said when all submissives come of age and in Skyrim's case when their 13 to 15 years old they go through a heat period every month just like a woman's menstrual cycle to attract dominant male and females for possible mating... And I don't know if you know this little Amara but you made yourself a submissive." said gift with a slight smile tugging at her lips when she saw my face go pale white at the news I had accidentally made myself a submissive something I knew from the talks we had that I could not change this fact which could only mean that I would be a submissive in all my lives. "Oh no." Is all I could muster to say as gift slowly got to her feet and placing me on mine. "Oh and I don't know if you've noticed but you've told the Dragonborn that you were already 11 Summers when in fact you were two days away from being 11... You might need to correct that with him. Just tell them that you forgot your birthday." she said as she gently pushed me through the Skyrim door once more.
Fluttering my eyes open slowly as I looked around at my surroundings only to see a well kept bedroom that obviously belong to someone. Sitting up I couldn't help but wince at the pain that shot up my left leg as I did so. When I looked down I saw it was heavily bandaged with a largish piece of wood held against my wound and remembering back to what gift said it was obviously to keep my bones in place as they healed. I couldn't help the large yawn that escaped my mouth as I carefully propped myself up against the headboard of the bed to try and get a better hold of my surroundings only to see the large wooden double doors open suddenly and in walked a Nord looking woman dressed in orange robes and with a golden yellowish Hood over her head. Following her into the room I was in were 5 males one obviously being Kechan who looked as though he had not slept in days and a woman who I instantly recognized as the lady who aimed her sword at Apollo. "Ahh the young one is awake then." said the lady in orange ropes as she placed a small wooden tray on my lap which had a bowl of some sort of stew and a small loaf of bread alongside a wooden cup of what looked like water. "Thank you." I said in a raspy voice as I grabbed the cup of water and slowly started to drink it trying to fight the urge to just gulp it down.
Setting the cup down once I had finished drinking it. I looked up only to see that the four men who had come in looked at me curiously and suspiciously at the same time, the angry looking woman who was obviously Furious at me being allowed to stay here and Kechan who looked as though he wanted to run up and check me all over to see if I had anymore injuries however before he could just do that the healer walked up to me and began checking my left leg as I slowly started to eat my stew. "Well it's safe to say with the quick reaction of his familiar and you Kechan this leg will heal nicely... However it will be a few days before it's healed completely." said the healer as she finally lifted her head up to look at the six who had gathered around the bed as the healer examined me. "How long is a few days?" I asked after I'd swallowed what was in my mouth. "Well I can't really say however if you stay off it and only move when you necessarily have to... I'd say 7 days at the leased however that's assuming all goes to plan... At the most I would say 14 maybe more days at most." When the healer said this Ken sighed slightly before turning to the others in the room seemingly having a silent conversation with only their looks. When all of a sudden the oldest man in the group stepped forward and spoke. "Well then there's only one thing we can do." The angry looking woman suddenly seemed to brighten up at what she thought the older man would say. "Young Amara will stay here until his leg is fully healed... Until then I will ask the Jarl if he would be willing to spare his Mage to teach young Amara all the magic he knows as well as teaching him all the requirements a young one needs. Then once his leg is healed we will teach him how to hunt, fight and anything else us and our brothers and sisters at Arms can teach him." before anyone could say anything else the angry looking woman suddenly shouted. "You can't be serious Kodlak. The Nord might have proved himself worthy of possibly joining the Companions but the mixed breed ha." the angry looking woman didn't even get a chance to finish her sentence when the healer had turned around to her and slapped her across the face maybe even harder than was necessary. "HOWDARE YOU CALL THAT PORE CHILD A MIXED BREED WHEN YOU YOURSELF ARE NOT A FULL NORD AT LEAST NOT ANY MORE! AELA I HAVE WARNED YOU ONCE BEFOR THINK BEFOR YOU SPEAK!" shouted the healer with full fury in her voice before she grabbed Aela by the upper right arm and dragged her pretty much out of the room.
"I wonder what's gotten into Danica to make her react in such a way... Usually she would only reprimand Aela for her words." said a bald, tall and strongly built man as he looked at me even more curiously as though I was a puzzled to unravel. "I think it is quite obvious don't you Skjor... While healing young Amara Danica had found some worrisome scars littered across his body scars that would have had to be made by hand by someone else." stated Kodlak as he turned to me with his Misty blue eyes that made him look as though he was blind but by his actions he was clearly not. My eyes swelled up with tears before I could stop them as I quickly turned away trying to not look at the others. "Amara where did you get the scars from." asked Ken as he and the others found seats around the room waiting for me to respond. "It's a long and hard story." I stated remembering what gift had told me. "I'm quite sure that myself and everyone else has their schedules wide open for the afternoon." Said Skjor as he stared at me with a look that stated that none of them were going to leave until I had told them everything and with a deep breath I did just that the story time made me slowly forming in my head as I spoke. "I guess I should start with my birth parents then... My Father, Mother and older twin all live at solitude where they're known as Lord Jacoby Mildrith of the Breton, Argonian race and Lady Zuri Mildrith of the Khajiit, Dark Elf race and Heir Dux Mildrith of the Khajiit, Dark Elf, Breton and Argonian race." nearly everyone in the room gasped at my family's titles. Obviously knowing of who I was talking about. "I was born only a few moments after my twin brother. However you wouldn't have been able to tell that we were twins for the fact I look like this and my brother only looked as though he had the blood of a Breton and Dark Elf. My mother and father were pleased with my brothers looks as they themselves only looked as though they were one of half of what they were, with my father looking as though he was only a Breton and my mother looking as though she was only a Dark Elf." I looked up to see if everyone was paying attention only to see some of them were even slightly leaned forward listening to my words very carefully as I spoke. "I guess I was the first one of my Kind to look the way I look... Because not long after my birth my mother and father agreed that I did not belong with them I did not look normal like they did... My brother could get away with his looks as he only looked like my mother and father and I did not... I believe the words my father used where abnormal. According to him they would be a laughing stock amongst the solitudes so they got rid of any evidence that I was even born well not exactly they made it look as though I had died at birth... And on the very same night sent me to live with my mother's step sister and her family." I took a moment to steady my breathing before I could continue because even at the mere mention of my aunt and her family was already starting to make me panic.
Taking one more deep breath I continued with tears beginning to fill my eyes. "My aunt Petun Ahearn and uncle Ellery Ahearn along with their son my cousin Drifa Ahearn were of the imperial race and lived in a cursed land called Downstar. A place known for those who live there having their dreams plagued with nothing but nightmares and terrors along with the Shadows that seem to follow people no matter where they went." I took a moment to let the information that I was giving to settle before continuing. "My aunt and her husband already hated my mother and father simply for their blood and the fact that my mother was dumping me on them just made them turn all their anger towards my parents onto me it didn't help the fact the way I looked disgusted them to the point that they locked me away in their home... Their basement hoping that I would never escape never be seen." I was crying at this point because back on earth it was very similar except instead of the basement it was a cupboard under the stairs. "Since my aunt and uncle refused to let me outside they found other means to keep me busy and out of sight mostly. I was forced from a very young age I think possibly even from the moment I started walking to cook all the meals even though I wasn't allowed to touch a single meal once it was made except for the Bare minimal scraps that were left for me, clean the entire home from top to bottom and on the night time when every one was safe from the shadows in their homes I was forced outside to tend to the crops and flowers my aunt was deturment to make grow. I was even forced to tend to the crops and flowers when it was winter and they knew nothing would pretty much grow at that season but they still forced me out. This wouldn't bother me as much as it did considering the fact they refused to give me proper clothing to wear for the correct Seasons, I was allowed to wear my older cousins old ratty shirt that reached below my kneecaps due to the mere size of my cousin but that was all I was allowed to wear not even shoes. I probably even have some scars on my feet from the cold winter nights I was forced out in." I quickly looked up as I heard something shatter in the room only to see the twin with hair that reach just above his shoulder's had somehow made a crack in the wall that was made of Stone. The three men that seemed close to him gave him a look before the Bald man looked at me and nodded his head for me to continue despite the fact that nearly everyone in the room had a dark angry look on their face. "Then one night I was forced yet again to the crops and flowers I had found one of my familiars.. shadow. A rare crow known to be a race of shadow Crows a dark, evil creature that had for some reason took an interest in me and had decided to stay as close as it could to me even if it couldn't enter my aunts home. My aunt and uncle might have not of known of my newly required friend however what they did notice was that I was no longer being plagued by the nightmares and terrace Downstar forced all of its people to endure. At first my so-called family try to beg me to help the nightmares stop for them however their tune quickly changed when I told them that I couldn't because I didn't know how I was stopping them.. Because I wasn't aware that my new friend Shadow had begun to block the nightmares from entering my nights.. So as a response to my answer my uncle had dragged me down to the basement by my hair and proceeded to beat me by punching me, kicking me even going as far as grabbing one of his daggers... And... Well you can probably get the picture... This continued for a while with my uncle and my aunt sometimes even my cousin going down to the basement and beating me I was no longer allowed out of the basement not even to cook, clean or tend to the crops, I wasn't even given the scraps of food as per usual instead I was given stale bread once a week maybe even less than that if my aunt and her family were in a bad mood... No instead I was forced to stay in the basement and to endure the cruel beatings that my so-called family bestowed upon me. My uncle would sometimes bring hand-made tools to help him and my aunt sometimes even my cousin to make my beatings more fun for them... A few times some of these beatings I was sure I was going to die." I was starting to hyperventilate to the point that Kechan wrapped his arms around me while also rubbing my back trying to reassure me that I was not there anymore.
It took a little longer than before to finally carme my breathing before I could continue. "When I was finally let out of the basement I thought everything would go back to the way it was before... I couldn't have been more wrong however... When I cooked and cleaned my aunt always found something to punish me for and the punishments were either being whacked on the head by anything she could grabbed too having my hands put into a boiling pot of water or even just the fire itself... And I was even given impossible list of chores to do inside and outside the home to be done by the end of each day which most of the time it wasn't done... My uncle would then take me back down to the basement and punish me yet again... However this time my uncle... My uncle would sometime come back drunk... Usually when my aunt and cousin were out in the town... And I was home doing my impossibly long list of chores... And he... My uncle would." I was crying at this point realizing that time had put in the one thing I had wanted to take to the grave with me. "What is it Amara?" asked Ken as he could see that I was fighting with myself to finish the story time had given me. "He.. My uncle would... Touch me... Touch Me in places a child should never be touched not until they understand what was being done to them." I quickly looked up at the sound of wood shattering only to see Aela had broken one of the doors as her in the healer danica stood in the doorway. Aela however didn't look as though she was angry of me but horrified and furious at what she had heard my uncle do to me. "It never got further than touching because my aunt would always get home before I could get that far and stop him.. It's the only time she ever helped me... Then they came.. Men and women wearing strange robes as well as strange masks had come to Downstar and we're knocking on all the doors in Downstar stating that they were looking for a submissive whose magic was calling out for help. My uncle hearing this had quickly tried to hide me in the basement as well as trying to hide the fact he even had a basement.. Unfortunately for him my cousin couldn't keep his mouth shut and had accidentally told them about the basement... These people run sucked my family's home and were able to find the basement as well as me."
"Hold on strange people in masks.. What did they want with you." said the twin with hair just above his ears. "I don't know... And I didn't stick around to find out... When these people took me from my aunt and uncle's home leaving them only slightly bruised I knew something wasn't quite right... They didn't feel safe.. And their intentions with me didn't sound as though they were telling the truth.. They told me they were sent by their King across the seas to save me and to take me to him and that he wanted nothing more than to keep me safe... But I knew instantly that they were partially lying.. Yes they were sent there for me... But this man did not want me to be kept safe... And I certainly wasn't sticking around to find out what he wanted me for... So once we were a little ways away from Downstar and had made camp so they could heal my wounds enough so they wouldn't get infected... I fled.. I ran far and fast while they slept... However I didn't realize some of them weren't asleep.. And The Chase pursued... It was only because of Shadow my crow that I managed to stay safe... Shadow although protecting me from the nightmares was on the hunt far and wide over Skyrim to find them... My other familiars starlight the night Panther, hedwig the moon owl, Adivaki a lion who knows the past that has gone by and could see the future yet to come, Apollo the Fire And Wind elemental wolf and his bonded Talia the Earth and water elemental rabbit. And they are who saved me, drove the men and women in the strange mask away and had gotten me to safety where I stayed in the woods for a few months before finding my way to a temple it was hidden well and the only reason that I found it was because of shadow leading me to my final familiars who are not yet hatched." As I finally finished my story I looked over to the fireplace where my two large eggs were keeping warm. "The rest is not really important.. I had with the help of my Familiars wrapped the two eggs against my stomach with bandages that Hedwig had stolen to keep them secure... My Familiars had scattered all over around Skyrim gatherings supplies and knowledge for me and that's of course when the Imperial army saw me crossing the bridge and that's where I met Kechan who took it upon himself to protect me and I'm thankful for that." I said giving Ken a small smile as he wiped a single tear from my right eye.
Before anything else could be said Hedwig flew into the chamber carrying a big bundle of something wrapped in fabric being held by her claws. She gently set it down at the bottom of the bed before landing on my right leg inspecting the wound on my left. "Do you like my handy work Hedwig?" asked Danica as she lifted her hand to gently stroke Hedwig's feathers. Hedwig crooned in approval before allowing Danica to gently rub her feathers. ~I like this one. Amara. How are you feeling?~ asked Hedwig as she turned her silver blue eyes to me. ~I've just told the Companions about my past and I just woke up from the severe injury being told I can't move was 7 to 14 days how do you think I feel.~ I say a while sighing heavily only to be met with a selective loud gasp around the room from the people who most likely never heard someone talk in the language of animals. "Farkas, Vilkas, Aela, Skjor can you four go and do either go to the Jarl and ask if we could borrow his mage. Go to the rest of our companions and ask if any of them know any talents that young Amara can learn from them. Go to our blacksmith and ask him if he wouldn't mind taking a young apprentice once he is healed and finally arrange for two rooms to be made both beside each other." Ordered Kodlak the four in question nodded their heads however before they left Ken quickly spoke up. "I can go to the Jarl as I have a stone tablet for his mage." he said as he quickly left the room but not before quickly giving me a tight hug. The other four quickly run after him. "We will make sure you learn as much as you can before you are healed. That way when you are healed you can quickly move to fighting, hunting and blacksmithing and any of our skills you wish to learn." Said Kodlak as Danica took the empty tray and left being followed by Kodlak not long after. I couldn't help but think that this was going to be a very long couple of weeks or months.
It had been a couple of hours since Danica, the Companions and Ken left and I just finished going through the fabric bundle Hedwig had brought finding three different types of fabric one was silky smooth and such a delicate blue it looked almost like ice, the other was a brondish gold colour and it was very stretchy but was still soft to the touch, finally the other fabric was a lot firmer and was obviously from some sort of animal where the other two were obviously made by hand and I couldn't describe the color it was Gray but a pinkish color as well almost like skin. Putting the three fabrics to one side I looked further in the pile and found three books one filled with recipes for potions, a herbal book and finally a book about smithing what to make and how they are used. As I started to wrap up the fabric that was holding all the stuff together I couldn't help but notice something fall out. Picking it up I saw it was a small black crystal with hues of red in it not knowing what it was or what it could do I quickly put it down on the small pile of fabric beside me.
Pressing my back against the headboard of the bed something near the fireplace caught my eye and thinking it was something bad happening to my eggs I quickly turned to look only to see them moving. I started to panic noticing they were most likely hatching. I started to shout for someone. "HELLO..ANYONE..HELLO.. I NEED A LITTLE ASSISTANCE HERE!" however no one came when I shouted so I quickly analyzed the situation. I could stay in bed and let them hatch on their own with the risk of them falling into the fire and with me not knowing their species them possibly dying as well or I could get out of bed risking my leg to become worse than it already is in an attempt to keep the eggs safe. Taking a deep breath as I made my mind up I slowly maneuvered myself out of the bed and slowly lowered myself to the cold stone floor trying my hardest to not let my left leg touch the ground or be jostled around too much. I slowly pulled my self along the floor moving close closer to the fireplace in hopes I would get to the eggs in time. But luck was not on my side as the egg with the spikes gave one mighty shake before slowly tumbling backwards moving closer and closer to the fire and in an attempt to save the egg I quickly kicked myself the rest of the way to the fireplace just managing to wrap my hand around the spiked egg cutting my hand slightly as well as slightly burning my hand as the fire crest my hand before I had the chance to pull the eggs away from it. Thankfully with my quick actions I was able to grab both eggs and get them away from the fire before they fell in however in doing so I had knocked my leg against a chair breaking the splint against it and I was now having to pretty much bite down on my lip so I didn't scream in pain.
~I'ss ssssmell blood.~ I look down in my lap searching for the hissing voice of my new familiar only to see that both of the eggs were nearly fully hatched as the young basilisk had pipped out of its egg and was now slowly slivering out all be it slightly slimy around my left wrist. Looking more closely at the basilisk it was a lovely colour. It was mostly black with gold, silver and dark green markings going along its body from the tip of its nose to the very tip of its tail. The small creature also had horn-like stubs along its face. Looking to the other egg I was amazed to see that the creature inside was completely opposite to the coloration of its egg. Where the egg was mostly yellow and different shades of red the hybrid dragon Phoenix looked nothing like it, the hybrid looked mostly like a dragon with having four long legs sharp claws and its tail being just as long as its neck, I quickly noticed that the tip of its tail sometimes opened and closed revealing a sharp point in the center when it opened. The hybrids face was the strange it had the head of a dragon but the mouth of a berd assuming from the Phoenix side of it and instead of scales there was feathers all over its body and wings. Lifting some of the feathers I could see that they were coming out of some red and violet scales they were just hidden from sight by the feathers. The color of the hybrid feathers was the most beautiful instead of being yellow and red instead it was a mixture of colors the main one being pure white but on the back of its head and the lower parts of the wings as well as the tip of its tail just before hitting the part that opens and closes the feathers were a range of violet and blue colors with only one or two of the feathers being red and gold. It was then I noticed their eyes. The basilisk had emerald green eyes with hues of Violet in it and the hybrid dragon Phoenix eyes were blood red with hues of blue in them.
~Hello little ones...What gender are you both?~ I asked them as the baby hybrid clumsily moved down to my injured leg and was examining it as the baby basilisk made its way around my upper arm. I had just realized how small they really were compared to their eggs as the basilisk was roughly the same length as my arm from my elbow to the tip of my claws and the hybrid in length reached from my shoulder to the tip of my claws and that was just from the tip of its beak to the tip of its tail. Flinging the hatchlings eggshells away I waited patiently for them to answer. ~I am a female... Sssspeaker.~ answered the basilisk as she slivered up my arm trying to find a warm place to stay. ~I am also female.~ answered the hybrid as she placed each one of her paws on each side of my wound seemingly trying to get a better view of the cut and broken bone. ~Then in that case I have the perfect names for you both... Young female basilisk hatchling your name is Ananta... Young female hybrid dragon Phoenix hatchling your new name is Elyse.~ I stated while gently moving Ananta to my chest underneath my shirt. Ananta hissed happily at her new name even Elyse crooned happily at her new name. ~Ananta you must close your third eye lens before any of the human's enter the room.~ stated Adivaki through our mind link. Looking down to Ananta I noticed her eyes instead of being bright like they were before they're now slightly clouded however she quickly reassured me that it was just because she lowered two of her eye lenses that would protect others around her from turning to Stone or worse dying. ~My eyessss without any protective lensssesss over them are the one'ssss that can kill at firsssst ssssight and are the onessss that you ssssaw when I firsssst hatched. When I lower my firssssst eye lenssss, my eyesssss will no longer kill but will turn people to sssstone. Then finally when I lower the ssssecond eye lens my eyesss will not only not kill anyone but won't turn anyone to sssstone.~ explain Ananta as she poked her head out of my top and gently rubbed her muzzle against my chin. ~Adivaki... I think I'm too young to heal this... I'm sorry Amara.~ said Elyse as she lowered her head sadly before gently curling up just below my stomach and resting her head on her tail. Before I could say anything a misty grayish white stringy light seeped slowly into the room and surrounded me before slowly being absorbed into my body just as some of the companion's ran in weapons drawn following the bright light.
Kodlak had to quickly stop a few of the Companions who saw Elyse and had tried to attack her. However they didn't get far as I lifted up my right hand with the full intent to stop them from hurting my baby familiars. There was a loud rumble around the room before the sound of stone cracking caught the tension of the few companions that had tried to attack my familiars. They didn't get a chance to react when large dark green almost root like vines burst out of the ground and wrapped around the Companions that had tried to attack Elyse. "YOU WLL NOT HARM MY . . .APART!" I said with my voice sounding as though it was everywhere in the room and not just coming from me. The Companion's that had attacked Elyse were released from my Vine's and had quickly fled from the room leaving only me, my baby familiars, Kodlak, Skjor and Aela in the room. "Amara.. Do you realise what that is... It's a dragon it must be killed." Hearing Skjor say that with much determination in his voice I stood up not even fully registering the pain and agony my leg was going through as I did so and with me now standing Elyse and Ananta had to quickly move off me as I stood up moving behind me as they did seeking protection. "THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO KILL ME FIRST." I said as something inside me was bubbling and was getting stronger with each person that was threatening my baby familiars. Kodlak however had quickly turned to look at Skjor with Fury on his face before stating calmly. "No one will harm those creatures... And if you have forgotten young Amara is part Breton... And they are known to have familiars.. Although it's not known how many they may have... It is well known that their familiars can turn out to be anything... Don't forget what happened to the last Breton that you had killed their familiar just because of what creature it was." When Kodlak said this Skjor quickly lowered his head before heaving his sword back in its sheath and turned away trying not to fall in the massive holes I had made with my vines.
