Ruby was a bit worried; Cardin might be sitting, but he is a 6'6" tall guy who towers over everyone in the school. His waiting there for them was just odd. Ruby looks to her friends, who all nod, but in their eyes, there seem just as worried as Ruby.
Cardin, still looking at the big screen, which is showing his other teammate who was defeated, goes, "Tsk, those three fools can't even beat some girls; how weak" he turns to the team rwby sizing them up like a predator does to pray.
In Cardin's mind, these three are weaker than him and will be easy to take down, he has his strength, his semblance and his weapons which keep his foes at a distance, and he can use shockwaves to attack, so he should be all set; he said to team rwby "So it seems you beat most of my team and where that leads you" he pauses almost like he is thinking about his following words "Back to me?
The girls are a bit floored by how he talks about his teammates, but Weiss finds her voice "your all alone, you big ape" Cardin, not reacting, just sighs, getting up; the girls also respond and get into a fighting stance, ready for his next move. Cardin smiles before running toward Ruby, her teammates jumping to the side, but Ruby says in place Cardin wants revenge, and he wants to take it out first. After her comments, she said, As he is about to hit her with his The Executioner, ice covers his body up to his neck, freezing him in place. "What the fuck! How" scream Cardin as Weiss smiles, standing behind him as Yang comes in, punching him a Bang which fills the area sending Cardin flying back. Blake wraps her whip around Cardin, pulls him past her as she lands, and makes him land on the ground, creating a creator from the impact. He stands up, rage in his eyes from the rwby attack. "He seems mad," Ruby says, not knowing how right she is. "Ehh, who cares? Here's just an ape," Weiss says with a bit of venom in her voice. "let's not think we won. Guys, Yang on me," She runs towards Cardin, with Yang saying, "You got it, kitten" Cardin, in a rage, slams his Executioner down in a shockwave, sending Blake and Yang back, which he smiles about before again running towards Ruby and Weiss. Weiss tries to use her ice on his feet and sends ice shards at Cardin; he jumps to the side and dodges them before slamming Executioner into Weiss, sending her into a tree, her semblance cracking from this hit. "Weiss!"
Ruby screamed and tried to run over as Cardin slammed his weapon into her leg. Her screams fill the area; no one can believe what is happening. Ruby reaches for her gun as Cardin kicks it away and, like her leg, crushes it with The Executioner. He smiles like a fox in a chicken cope, "why are you doing this" Ruby asks, the pain almost making her pass out. Cardin picks her up by her collar and says into Ruby's ear, "This is what happens when you disrespect someone from the Winchester family, little girl" Ruby's eyes widen as Cardin, without notice, drops Ruby but dropkicks her in the stomach sending her across the area. Yang can be heard screaming as Cardin walks toward the other girls. Yang gets up and runs to Cardin as she goes for an uppercut, but he side step and slams his leg into her back as Blake did. Blake was scared at how this fight went going, but Cardin used a shockwave to send her into a tree, hitting her head on it; he grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back before throwing her a few times like how Hulk did to Loki, her semblance gone from this. Weiss getting up and panting, says, "Hey, Ape boy!" card tsks at this as she turns to Weiss. "Think you such a bit, man? Well, you not!" she says through her panting, blood in her eye. Cardin walks towards Weiss as she tries to make a seal as a trap. Cardin runs in a zig-zag away, thinking Weiss is setting up a surprise. He was right, but he doesn't know as he punches Weiss in the side of the head and keeps doing that repeatedly, blood covering each side of her before she falls to the ground.
Everyone is shocked at how Cardin is beating on team rwby; some wonder why Cardin needs the other three teammates.
Announcer: "I um never seen anything like this" Cardin striking pose at the crowed who clap but are scary. "I think we might have an" Another bang fills the room as The Executioner flys out of Cardin's hands "wwwhat! What was that!" everyone turns to where the shot is heard; there is a ruby rose to hold Crescent Rose in one hand somehow was able to hit Cardin weapon, she panting hard but she still won't get off. The crowd cheers for what Ruby just did, which in raged cardin as he was enjoying the public cheer, "My my, you were able to get back up after all that, huh your determent I give you that" he walked towards her with that same fox smile he had. "Ya, well, I can't let a hero need a great comeback," Cardin laughed at Ruby before saying that there are no heroes in this world; only the strong can survive in this world! And you, little girl, are not strong! So give up!" he goes to punch Ruby. It seems he gave up on using his Executioner, But as he swings, Ruby closes her eyes, and a cling sound fills her eyes. She opened her eyes to see her big sister standing before her, blocking Cardin's attack with her gauntlets in front of her ", yang" she said, thinking Yang was out. "You dork, don't think you have to fight alone; we got your back rubes," Yang says, struggling to hold Cardin, which actives her semblance to push him off, which he slides back. "Bitch! Why won't you die!" Ruby and Yang glare. "Because they're not alone!" Weiss and Blake walk to the side of their teammates; the crowd cheer and chants the team rwby name angrily; Cardin charges at them in hopes of taking them up, grabbing his weapon on the ground. The girls look at each other and nod as it seems there been waiting for this. Ruby blocks the swing with a wide swing taking Cardin off guard, then swings and blocks Cardin's counterattacks pushing him back. He swings up, but her semblance she get above him as the weapon hits the ground; he looks up as the barrel of her gun is the point at him. He tried to avoid it, but the shot hit him, cracking his aura; Weiss used her Glyphs to send Yang flying toward Cardin, who was trying to recover from ruby'sRuby attack, but Blake slid on the ground under Cardin, kicking him in the jaw and sending him into the air and as Yang begin to punch and blast cardin like how he did to Weiss and send one last punch send him to the ground his aura gone by this point as Yang lands on him. He tries to get up, but all four girls have their gunpoints pointed at him, forcing him to give up, much to the anger of Cardin.
Announcer: "And the winner is Team RWBY!" The crowd cheers louder than there has been all month, and there ignore Cardin as the doctors come to get the rest of team CRDL; Cardin, right before leaving the battlefield, glares at Team Rwby with hate he has never felt before.
The Fetist ends with rwby winning, though, after the beatdown from Cardin, there do have to spend a month on bed rest which sucks, but they're happy to have won. A knock is heard from the team hospital room; a tall skinny man walks in with tousled silver hair and brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features; he wears shaded glass spectacles and a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wears black trousers shoes and long, dark-green pants in addition to his cane, which he used to walk. All of the team rwby screamed, "Headmaster Ozpin!" there were surprised at seeing the headmaster there when he didn't talk to students much.
Ruby asks Ozpin what he is doing here, and with a stern but calm and commanding voice, he says, "I came to congrats you four on winning the fetish; you all worked hard and fought just as hard; I also came to ask how you are all doing" The girls explain there happy to the moon or broken moon in this case that there won but still in pain from the beating Cardin gave. Ruby then asks Ozpin, "So what happened to Team CRDL?" Ozpin fixes his glass before answering, almost thinking about what to say. "Team CRDL will need to recover like you, and there should all be back at school in no time" The girls nod, but Ruby still looks worried, which Ozpin picks up. "Is there something you like to say, Mrs. Rose" Ruby kind of studders a bit because she didn't think he asked. "Well, the truth is, Cardin, seems odd with the battle" The other girls look weirdly at their leader. Still, Ozpin asks what she means. "It just," she stopped for a sec, "it seems like he wasn't trying to win; it almost like he was trying to kill us or something" The room falls silent as Yang, Blake and Weiss think, and there agree with Ruby that Cardin did seem like he was, but there keep it to themselves. "Why do you think he would like to kill you four?" Ruby looked down, wondering if she might be overthinking things. "It's just the way he fights us over," waving her hand over in a way to show how all four girls ended the fight. Ozpin looks all over and analyzes their interests and figures it might be a good idea to look into the Winchester boy, not just for Ruby's peace of mind but his own "I believe you might be looking into things, mrs rose, but I look into this just in case" and with that he turns to look which team rwby look at him with a confused look. "Oh, before I go, girls, even though you all may be in the hospital, you still have to do your classroom" The girls are all grown at this as Ozpin leaves. Opzin thinks over what Ruby says, and yes, he did seem off and should keep a close eye on Team CRDL.
