Same Day: SVARTALFHEIM
Dark Lizard Planet: Cliff / Field
With a slight smile, Star assures a dying Janna, who repeatedly says 'I'm sorry', "It's all right. I'll tell Mother what you did here today." She gives Janna an assuring nod, making her promise to Janna.
Janna tells Star, "I didn't do it for her." She looks up at Tom one last time, muttering, "I love you, always." Tom smiles a bit as he cries. Janna closes her eyes, leaning her head back farther into his chest, and stops moving.
Star screams in anguish, "No!" As she realizes Janna's dead. Tom sobs loudly as he hugs Janna's head close to him. The wind blows sharply, blowing their capes/cloaks and hair around.
Marco and Jackie slowly walk towards them, watching Star and Tom cry over their once again lost loved one.
Tom angrily looks up at the dark sky and screams, releasing all his emotions. The harsh winds are getting bigger and worse, creating almost a sandstorm, mixing in the clouds.
Star looks up to see Marco and Jackie standing a good distance from them, Marco and Jackie looking at them sadly and in sympathy. Star and Marco lock eyes with each other, and he gives her a sympathetic look.
Minutes Later
Star, Tom, Marco, and Jackie leave Janna's dead body behind and walk across the dark plains of SVARTALFHEIM as a huge sandstorm gets worse around them.
Tom and Marco are the only ones with a hood on, shielding their eyes and faces from the storm. They eventually find and enter a cave.
Inside: Cave
After the four enter the cave and brush off the dirt and sand, they walk farther in. Jackie takes a seat on a rock, informing the Mewmans of what she and Marco saw when the Aether was taken out of them, "He's gonna unleash it. Not just on Mewni or on a star. Toffee is going to destroy everything." Marco slides his hood down as Tom leaves his on.
Star is confused as she takes Marco in her arms, "How?"
When Jackie doesn't answer, Tom pushes, "Jackie, how?"
Marco answers as he rests his head on Star's chest, "We saw him on Earth." He lifts his head up to look at Star, "Why would he go to Earth?"
Tom looks down as he answers with no emotion in his voice, "The Convergence."
Jackie mutters as she rubs her forehead, "Oh, God."
Marco felt guilty, "None of this would have happened if we hadn't found the Aether." He sighs, pressing his forehead on Star's chest.
Star defends, trying to make them feel a bit better, "Then Toffee would've only possessed it that much sooner." She rubs Marco's head smoothly.
Marco looks up at Star, telling her a bit sheepishly, "We only found it because I was looking for you."
Star touched, she cups Marco's cheek gently, whispering, "Marco..." She trails off, speechless. She rubs her thumb on his cheek softly to smooth him.
Marco still feels guilty but strongly says, "Now we're trapped here." At that moment, a convenient hip-hop ringtone rings. Jackie, Marco, Star, and Tom are confused. The four of them look conveniently puzzled at each other.
Star tells Marco and Jackie as they look at her, "It's not me." Marco pulls away from Star as Jackie takes out her phone from her jacket.
Jackie answers the phone, holding it to her ear, "Hello?"
The voice on the other line greets, "Hi Jackie, it's Chloe."
Jackie, surprised, getting off the rock, "Chloe? Where are you?" Marco surprised himself, walks closer to Jackie, curious at how the phone works in another world.
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Chloe, on her cell phone, standing in front of a printer/copier in a dark, lit room, "I'm still in the office. It's been a crazy day here today." The windows behind her reveal it to be nighttime.

Inside: Cave
Jackie walked around the cave, holding her phone up in the air to test the signal strength, the phone on speaker, with Marco following her.
Jackie is fascinated by the strength in signal she has, "Oh, my god, this is amazing."
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Chloe is still standing by the printer/copier, smiling as she asks happily, talking on the phone, "Is it? I quite enjoyed our lunch despite never actually ordering anything."
SVARTALFHEIM: Dark Lizard Planet
Inside: Cave
Jackie is still holding the phone in the air with Marco behind her, confused/curious, "How am I getting service here?" Marco realizes and quickly checks his backpack, finding his phone.
Chloe's voice questions, "Is this a bad time? Do you want me to try later?"
Jackie quickly denies, "No, no, no." Marco turns his phone on.
Marco smiles as his phone turns on, then frowns when it says 'no service'. He mutters, "Damn it." He tosses his phone back in his backpack and says loudly into Jackie's speakerphone, "Uh, Chloe, it's Marco. From the restaurant."
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Chloe narrows her eyes in a bit of confusion. She greets awkwardly, "Oh, yeah. Hi." She's standing in a dark, lit room.

Inside: Cave
Marco tells Chloe as he gently takes the phone from Jackie, "Please, whatever you do, do not hang up the phone."
Jackie agreed beside Marco, "Yes, please." Star and Tom stand beside each other awkwardly, sharing a confused glance behind Marco and Jackie as they try to figure out how they're getting a signal in that cave.
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Standing by the printer/copier with her cell phone against her ear, Chloe smiles happily when Jackie agrees, "Okay then."
SVARTALFHEIM: Dark Lizard Planet
Inside: Cave
Chloe's voice was talking to Jackie again as Jackie took her phone back from Marco, "I was just wondering if you wanna try again. Uh, maybe dinner next time?"
Tom smiles playfully, looking over at Star. Star notices his look and lets out a chuckle before nudging him playfully, knowing that he's going to tease Jackie about it after.
Jackie was very distracted, not really paying attention to Chloe on the phone, "Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah."
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Jackie's voice says on Chloe's cell phone, "Just stay on the phone, okay?"
Chloe nods, hoping she is getting somewhere with Jackie as she does like her, "Yeah, I will."
SVARTALFHEIM: Dark Lizard Planet
Inside: Cave
Jackie and Marco walk farther into the cave as they try to figure out how they are getting a signal on Jackie's phone. Marco sees a soda can on the ground and gasps.
Jackie turns to where Marco's looking and mutters as she holds the phone to her ear, "Oh my god." Marco steps farther, sees Jackie's car keys, and picks them up, turning to Jackie and wiggling them up in the air. Jackie gasps in surprise.
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Chloe hears Jackie's gasps on her phone as she stands in front of a printer/copier. She frowns, "Am I interrupting something?"

Inside: Cave
Still on the phone, Jackie answers Chloe, her tone innocent, "No, no, no. Nothing at all."
Marco looks at Star and Tom, nodding farther into the cave, "Come on!"
On Jackie's cell phone, Chloe says, "I'm losing you there. Are you in a tunnel?"
Tom follows Jackie and Marco, "Wait-"
Star cuts Tom off as she asks Marco and Jackie while following Tom, "Where are we going?"
Chloe's voice asks as she gets a reply, "Hello?"
Star looked at the ground, asking confusingly, "Why are so many shoes in here?" Suddenly, Marco, Jackie, Tom, and Star disappear as they step into the portal that links to Earth.
Earth: London, England
Inside: Chloe's Office
Still standing at the printer/copier, Chloe looks down at her phone, confusingly, as she's lost the connection with Jackie's phone. Chloe mutters to herself, "I'll just text her."
Night: Deserted Factory
Marco, Jackie, Tom, and Star step out of the portal in London, England, outside of the building where Marco and Jackie first found the Aether. They continue on normally, the two Mewmans following Marco and Jackie.
Tom magically fazes his clothes into normal modern-day clothing. He wears a black trench coat, a dark red shirt, black pants with a belt, and along with brown boots. Star gives him a look at his change of appearance. Tom shrugs at her as he stuffs his hands into his coat pockets.
They find Jackie's station wagon, which now has smashed-in windows and graffiti. Marco and Star sit at the front, while Jackie and Tom sit at the back.
Inside: Jackie's Car
Marco got in first, starting up the car with some difficulties as the gear-grinding on metal is heard, even as it starts up.
Star gets into the passenger seat, sitting comfortably in the car. Jackie gets in the backseat behind Marco while Tom sits beside her behind Star. The three look at Jackie as Marco looks behind him to reverse out.
Tom asks Jackie teasingly with a smirk, "So, who's Chloe?"
Jackie exclaims, "Really?" She gives the three a look. Marco chuckles and drives.
Outside: Street
Jackie's car comes out of the street that Brittney once drove in. Marco makes a wide right-hand turn. A car honks at him as he straightens out the vehicle before continuing on.
Inside: Marco's And Jackie's Apartment
Marco drove them back to his and Jackie's apartment. Brittney is typing on the computer and jumps up in surprise when Marco, Jackie, Tom, and Star enter the apartment.
Brittney gets out of her chair, almost shouting, "Jackie, Marco."
Jackie greets Brittney as she walks in, taking off her coat, "Hey."
Brittney tells Jackie and Marco, "You can't just leave like that." Marco takes off his hoodie, "The whole world is going crazy." Star hangs the wand on a coat hook. Tom gives Star a look when he sees it hang there and not break the coat rack. Star shrugs at him, "All the stuff we saw is spreading." Brittney's talking about the portals. Reading over notes, Justin looks up to see Jackie and Marco and stands from his seat. Brittney noticed their attire, "Did you two go to a party?"
Marco sees Mr. Candle sitting at a desk on a computer. His eyes widened, "Mr. Candle?"
Mr. Candle smiles wide, "Marco! Jackie! How wonderful." He stands up and hugs Jackie and Marco, "Oh!" He pulls from the hug and then looks down at their clothing, "You've been to Mewni."
Jackie and Marco look down and frown, seeing Mr. Candle just in his underwear. Jackie asks, "Where are your pants?"
Justin speaks up, telling Marco and Jackie, "Oh, he, uh... He says it helps him think."
Marco is weirded out but shakes it off and looks at Mr. Candle seriously, "Okay, well, I'm going to need everything you've got on this. All the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything."
Mr. Candle nods, "Okay."
Star looks at Mr. Candle concerned, "Are you well, Mr. Candle?"
Mr. Candle turns to Star and laughs, then turns serious, "Your sister's not coming, is she?" Tom shifts uncomfortably.
Star looks and says sadly, "Janna is dead."
Mr. Candle blurts out, relieved, "Oh, thank God!" Star and Tom look at him with narrow eyes. Mr. Candle's eyes widen, and he tries to cover up his mistake, "I... I mean, I'm so sorry." Tom is weary and not really believing him, but still nods a 'thank you'.
Star tells Mr. Candle, "Thank you." Mr. Candle steps forward and hugs her, though he grins with relief over his shoulder but frowns when he sees Tom's unamused look at him and pulls out of the hug with Star, frowning, pretending to be sympathetic to Janna's dead news but is actually really relieved.
