No One's POV

It was a windy day in Acmetropolis. A TV crew was in front of the City Hall Plaza, along with a woman named Misty Breeze. "All right, Misty, we're going on live. Is everything ready?" the cameraman, Bradley, asked. A blue-haired girl called Paula Hayes handed Misty a cup of coffee. "Here's your coffee tube, Misty." Paula said. "You know, I was thinking, we should do a piece on barimetric pressure." Paula added. "That's absurd." Misty responded. "What? Barimetric pressure?" Paula asked. "No, that you were thinking. I'm Misty Breeze, honey, I do the weather. You, uh, bring the coffee." Misty explained. Paula was annoyed. Suddenly, storm clouds began to appear, and lightning began to strike. "Boy, this is gonna be a big one." said lead reporter Rob James. Rob headed into the car. Paula followed. "You said if I told her my idea, you'd back me up!" "Oh, come on, Paula! You can't be on air! You're too young, inexperienced, and well, let's just say if the camera loves you, you're behind it." Rob explained. "What? No one appreciates me." Paula roared. Misty's script flew everywhere. Rob tried saving it to no avail. Misty came by and asked, "Where's my script? I need my script, Rob! I can't make up the weather you know!" She complained. Misty then spit out her coffee, and poured it all over Paula. As revenge, Paula created a raincloud that poured on Misty. Paula told Rob to let her do the story, and after thinking, he said yes.

"Okay! We're going live in three, two..." "This is Paula Hayes, and I'm standing in City Hall Plaza where a giant storm is brewing over Acmetropolis. There's lightning, thunder, and dangerously high winds." Suddenly, the storm began to grow in treachery. At that moment, a lightning bolt struck Paula, and she screamed. She was trapped in purple mists, and light was shooting out of her body. Misty came over, and pushed Bradley. "Cut! Stop take! I'm Misty Breeze! I do the weather!" Paula then let out a sinister laugh. Her eyes glowed purple. "Well, there's a change in the air, Misty, because I am the weather!" Paula then used her powers to shove Misty away. "They said I couldn't be on the air, well I am NOW!" Paula then launched herself in the clouds, having completed her villainous transformation.

Meanwhile, the breeze's power had grown. A satellite dish was close to falling on a nearby crowd. But thankfully, the Loonatics had arrived. Slam managed to grab the dish and hold it in place. "That's it. Now!" Tech said to Ace. Ace used his laser vision to mold the satellite into the crack. "There! That oughta keep Duck from complaining." Ace said. "Now that wasn't so hard." Tech said. Slam was exhausted and attempted to rest. But at that moment, Duck opened the hatch Slam was on, sending him off the roof. "Thanks a lot, Slam. Just in time for me to miss my favorite TV personality of all time, Misty Breeze." Duck said, swooning. "Duck!" Ace yelled as he and Tech headed over to the edge. Lexi, Rev and Jeanine were heading up the building with Slam in tow. Lexi complained, "I break more nails picking up after you guys!" Once the four reached the top, Slam growled at Duck angrily. "Such language!" Duck said before quacking away.

Meanwhile, Misty was falling from the blast earlier and landed on the satellite. She grabbed on tight, but she couldn't hold that grip forever. Duck saw her and began swooning. "Don't just stand there, you dolts! Get me out of here!" Misty said, critizing them. At that moment, she let go and began to fall. Just before she reached the ground, Duck quacked over to Misty and caught her. "I'm your biggest fan! Danger Duck, at your service, hot stuff!" Duck said in awe. Misty got up and posed in front of him. "Thank you. Don't get too close."

Later, the Loonatics were flying around with their jetpacks to investigate the incident at City Hall Plaza. "Misty and her crew were broadcasting from City Hall Plaza." Ace told the others. "I just don't get it. Who would ever want to harm the lovely Misty Breeze?" Duck asked. "Anybody who's ever met her." Lexi responded. "Lexi's right. She's rude, self-centered, and her ego beats yours by a mile." Jeanine snarked. "Hey! Anyway, why would you care? Jealous?" Duck asked. "No. I'm already interested in someone else." Jeanine said, thinking about Ace. Just then, a raven appeared. It was the same one from a while ago, with a red gem implanted on its neck. "Oh, hello." Jeanine waved. The raven then proceeded to bonk Jeanine several times on the head. Jeanine, annoyed, simply flicked the raven away.

Just then, Zadavia's voice was heard on some nearby billboards. "Loonatics, we're recieving reports of strange weather phenomenons materializing all over the planet." she explained. "Say, Zadavia, isn't monitoring the weather more of a job for-" Ace began to say before Duck interrupted. "Misty Breeze?" "Not this kind of weather. You better move fast, Loonatics. Zadavia out." She said before the group zoomed away.

Once the group reached City Ha Plaza, Slam lifted a nearby van up and out fell Rob James. Slam growled, asking Rob what had happened. "Paula... assistant... the script... Misty... wet hair... crazy weather... storm... Misty gone!" Rob said, clearly traumatized from the ordeal. "Hey, pal, I'm gonna need some more words. Got any verbs?" Ace asked. "Here's one: look!" Lexi said while pointing up at the sky. Close by, there was a blue skinned woman with pink glowing eyes, magenta hair and a black dress with white lines gojng down. She was enclosed by a glowing sphere that protected her from the storm clouds and lightning. "No stealing my thunder, Loonatics! Back off!" The woman yelled as thunder struck. "That's her!" Rob told them. Paula then manifested creatures from the clouds called Cloud Creatures. Go figure. "Cloud Creatures, put these heroes in a fog!" She said as the group were surrounded.

"Amazing!" Tech said in awe. "Was this in the forecast?" Ace asked. Duck, however, was unfazed. "Ooh, scary clouds. What, you gonna stop us from getting a tan?" he asked sarcastically. One of the Cloud Creatures then granbed Duck. "Maybe stop us from breathing?" he asked, now worried. "That's why you need to learn to keep your mouth shut." Jeanine told him. "I don't need a lecture right now!" Duck yelled back. "Okay, Ace. What's the plan?" Jeanine asked. "Kick some clouds!" Ace responded. He then jumped up and kicked a Cloud Creatire, destroying it. But, unfortunately, another one grabbed him. "Hey, watch the foot! It's lucky!" Ace said, admonishing the creature. It then snarled at him before Slam came and bit the creature's neck off. Paula then sent another one to put Slam in submission.

"Here's-something-you-don't-see-on-a-sunny-day-I-could-be-wrong-but-it-looks-like-they're-alive-How-is-that-possible-Clouds-are-just-for-making-rain-not-striking-terror-into-the-hearts-of-the-city." Rev began rambling. The Cloud Creature got tired of the rant and slammed it's fist at Rev, knocking him out. Meanwhile, Duck had freed himself by firing an orb at the Cloud Creature that had a hold on him. "Let's pump up the clouds and bring in the fog!" Paula then began to bring in fog, making it difficult for the Loonatics to see and fight. Lexi was fighting a Cloud Creature when suddenly, it disappeared. When she called out for it, it reappeared and attacked her.

Meanwhile, Jeanine had gotten herself trapped in one of the Cloud Creature's clutches before Ace came and used his laser vision to slice through the Cloud Creature's arm. While it did manage to save Jeanine, the laser beam struck Tech's behind, causing him to jump up in the air in pain. "Oops. Very sorry dere, Tech." Ace apologized. Rev then sped by. "Ace-my-internal-radar-can't-distinguish-between-what-is-the-cloud-creature-and-what's-the-fog-and-it's-getting-pretty-hard-to-avoid-their-GRIP!" Rev was then grabbed by a Cloud Creature. Slam managed to break free from his Cloud Creature's grip and activated his tornado maximizer. The tornado managed to suck up the fog and send the Cloud Creatures flying. "Slam one, cloud nothing!" Ace said.

Paula then let out an ear-splitting scream, loud enough to wake the dead. "Clouds of Thunder, destroy them!" she roared. Meanwhile, Lexi was cornered by a Cloud Creature. Then, she noticed a nearby fire hydrant. She activated her Brain Blast and shot the fire hydrant, causing a flood of water to spew at the Cloud Creature. It slowly began to get larger. "Clouds absorb water! And to think I only got a B in science." Lexi realized. "That's great, Lexi, but do you really want to make it bigger?" Ace asked. Eventually, the creature absorbed so much water that it disintegrated into nothing. Rev then attempted the same thing by spewing some water from a nearby fountain at a creature, which led to it's termination.

Ace managed to slash through a statue to shoot water at another cloud creature, while Jeanine used her flexibility to break open a birdbath and spew water at another. Seeing what the others were doinf, Duck attempted the same strategy by throwing a water egg at his Cloud Creature, which exploded in waves of orange fluid. Duck tasted the fluid. "Orange juice will do the trick too." Paula was getting sick of the Loonatics now. "Pesky duck!" She fired a lightning bolt at Duck, who landed in Slam's arms. "You may have won this round, Loonatics, but I'm the star here!" Just then, Bradley from Acme News came by. Paula pointed at him. "Keep that camera pointed at me! I've got breaking news! Hear me, Acmetropolis! I am Weather Vane, and tonight, there is a 100% chance of destruction!" Weather Vane, formerly Paula, roared as she began blasting lightning bolts at the Loonatics.

"Here's the news flash for you, Loonatics, and it's a real shocker!" Weather Vane said as she brought down multiple bolts at once. Tech gasped before pushing a button on his jetpack. A lightning rod appeared, and Tech yowled in pain as he was severely electrocuted. Eventuallly, he turned into a pile of dust. "Nice lightning rod, Tech. That's definitely gonna earn you some vacation time." Ace said. Tech then regenerated. "Can I take it right now?" Tech asked, exhausted. "Let me think about it..." Ace silently mumbled for a few seconds before saying "No."

Meanwhile, Weather Vane was waiting impatiently. "All the elements are in my command! I don't need to report the story. I am the story!" She cackled before speaking to Bradley. "Make sure to get this. Make everyone forget about Misty Breeze,!" Weather Vane said angrily. "Forget about Misty Breeze?! Why, I'd sooner forget, uh, what's her name here." Duck responded. "Time for you to be gone with the wind!" Weather Vane then created large tornado with the Loonatics trapped inside. However, one by one, they managed to break free (with Duck accidentally quacking himself in a TV). All of them were safe, or so they thought. "A little help here!" Jeanine yelled. She tried using her flexibility to get her out, but due to the strong wind, it just kept stretching back to Jeanine. Ace managed to use his grappling hook and grab her out of there. "Are you ok?" he asked her. "Yeah, thanks, dude." Jeanine was a little embarrassed since he had saved her multiple times over the past few weeks, but she wouldn't make it a big deal.

Slam, meanwhile, was in tornado mode and began spinning around the bigger tornado, pushing it away and destroying it so that bystanders were safe. They cheered for him once it was gone.

Weather Vane, on the other hand, was anything but cheerful. "They defeated my clouds, my lightning, my tornado! But can they defeat all of them at once?! I release all of the forces of the elements upon you, Acmetropolis!" Weather Vane then used lightning bolts to deatroy buildings and railroads. "Bring me Misty Breeze, or start building an ark!" Weather Vane declared.

The Loonatics used their jetpacks to head to the railroad. They had to get the train off before it fell into the water. "Come on, gang! Let's get that monorail!" Ace told the others. Slam and Tech used their strength and magnetism respectively to lift the train, while Ace, Lexi and Jeanine cleared the remains. Slam managed to lift the car dangling on the ledge, and get it back on the tracks safely.

Afterwards, the Loonatics flew back to confront Weather Vane, but once they reached the top, only Bradley was in sight. "Where'd she go?" Ace asked. "Uh, I don't know, she just flew off and vanished!" Bradley said. "Hey, Rev, does your radar show anyone else in damger?" Ace asked. "Well-a-lot-of-wet-people-but-nobody-else-in-danger-unless-you-count-soggy-underwear-as-danger." Rev responded. "We should evacuate rhe area." Ace said. "The whole area? Why?" Lexi asked. "Yeah, you heard the cameraman. Weather Vane's gone." Jeanine added. "Maybe, but I got a little feeling something big is coming." Ace told her.

Just then, Zadavia's hologram appeared. "Suspicions confirmed, Ace. There's an unnatural force brewing with intensity, thirty-five miles off the Acmetropolis Coast. All efforts to contain Weather Vane have failed." she explained.

Later, the gang were flying with their jetpacks, still attempting to locate Weather Vane. "With all this wayer, we could sure use a Duck." Lexi said. "Yeah, where is Duck?" Ace asked. Duck was going after Weather Vane, wanting to give her a piece of his mind. "Duck, where are you?" Ace asled through the communication feed. "I'm on a personal mission." Duck said, with a tone of determination. "Personal? Hey Duck-" Duck cut Ace off before he could finish. "Anybody who insults Misty Breeze insults Danger Duck." he declared. Eventually, he found Weather Vane. "Excuse me, Bubblehead, but as Misty Breeze's biggest fan, I'm gonna have to ask that you apologize to her rigt now." Duck told her. "MISTY BREEZE?! She is NOTHING compared to me!" Weather Vane yelled. "Well, somebody has an ego." Duck snarked back. Weather Vane them created a large wave, sending Duck under.

However, he quickly used his jetpack to get back up to the surface. "I am Queen of the Elements, a Weather Goddess!" Weather Vane cackled. Her powers were getting stronger. Duck then approached her. She wasn't very happy to see him again. "You again?!" she said with disdain. "Nobody disses Misty Breeze, or you would be the Vice President and founding member of her Internantional Fan Club!" Duck roared. "I answer to no one, because I-" "You're famous, Partly Cloudy. You've had your moment. I'm trying to expound here." Duck said. "I've heard ENOUGH!" Suddenly, Weather Vane transformed into a giant black dragon with glowing purple eyes. Then, the others arrived. "Duck, what are you doing? Where's Weather Vane?" Lexi asked. When they looked at the dragon, they were shocked. "I hope that's not her." Ace said. Then, it let out Weather Vane's signature laugh. "It is her." Jeanine muttered. Now, Weather Vane was Storm Dragon.

Storm Dragon let out a burst of electricity, and headed straight for Acmetropolis. Her lightning bolts began destroying buildings, and the citizens began to run in fear as a tower cane crashing down at them. Thankfully, Tech used his magnetism to toss it aside. The only question was: how did they stop her? "A busted fire hydrant is not gonna take that thing out." Lexi told Ace. "Hey, uh, Tech, I don't suppose that you have a really big hair dryer?" Ace asked. "If you're thinking of evaporating that thing, it would take a hair dryer about, oh, a mile wide." Tech said while stretching his arms out. "Nah. Hey Rev, any idea where we can find the hottest spot within a hundred miles?" Ace asked. "Oh-baby-do-I-have-a-fiery-hot-spot-for-you-guys-This-is-gonna-burn-your-hair-off-if-you-get-too-close-Man-this-place-is-scorching!" Rev explained. "Got it. We just need some bait." Tech added. Jeanine thought for a moment, before an evil grin began to form on her face. "Oh, I have an idea where we can get some.' She said while looking at Duck. The others turned to his direction too. "Why is everyone looking at me? Let me guess, me again." Duck said, with worry.

The gang flew to a small remote island with a few large volcanoes. Tech was flying in his new Portalab, while the others were on jetpacks. "Is this gonna work?" Ace asked. "If the lava depth chart is in sync with the targeting mechanism, there should be enough combustion to-" "Tech, English!" Jeanine said as she cut him off. "It should go boom." Tech simplified. "That's all we need. That'll activate the volcano?" Ace asked as the group began to land. "Your guess is as good as mine." Tech responded. Just then, Storm Dragon arrived, and the plan was set into action. "Misty Breeze predicts the weather, not nightmares!" Duck said, as he and Rev lured Storm Dragon to the island. "Well, look at the mighty Storm Dragon, acting all big and superior. Let me tell you something, Dragon Lady, Misty's still number one in my charts." Duck said, egging her on. Storm Dragon then began to fire snow balls at them, but they dodged each and every one. At the island, Tech was describing a special capsule to the group. "Slam can withstand the heat better than any of us. Take this up there and when I say 'now', push this red button and throw it into the volcano. Got that? Now." Tech finished. Slam misunderstood and accidentally pushed the red button right then and there. It would now detonate in 30 seconds. "No, not 'now' now, 'now' later!" Tech yelled furiously. Slam attempted to fix it, but accidentally removed the button. Now, they only had sixteen seconds left.

"Just get it up there! Now!" Ace commanded. Slam grabbed the capsule as he made his way to the top of the volcano. Duck and Rev were still making their way to the island. "You want Misty, you bag of wind? Catch me!" Duck taunted. "Yeah, Duck!" Rev cheered. Slam had now reached the top of the volcano, and he threw the capsule in just as it got to ten seconds. Duck and Rev were also soon at the top. Storm Dragon then arrived, now ready to finish business. Just before she attacked, Duck quacked away. Once the countdown reached zero, lava burst through Storm Dragon. There was a mass explosion, and in the process, the Portalab was about to be destroyed. "My Portalab! I just built it!" Tech panicked. "Forget the Portalab, Tech, let's jet!" The Portalab was now submerged in a sea of lava, and the gang escaped before they were submerged too. "My Portalab! Destroyed! No!" Tech whined. "It never harmed anyone!" "Wow, he really needs to get out more." Ace remarked. "Yeah, for all our sakes." Jeanine laughed.

Meanwhile, the gang was back in Acmetropolis. "I'm picking up Zadavia's signal." Lexi said. Zadavia appeared in one of the Acme News van windows. "There are no traces left of the Storm Dragon, but what happened to Weather Vane remains a mystery. We can only assume she escaped. Good job, Loonatics. Zadavia-" Misty and Bradley came out of the van, with the former cutting off the signal. "Misty, this is my chance!" Duck muttered. "Three, two..." Bradley exaggerated as Misty began reporting. "This is Misty Breeze, and the massive storm front that battered Acmetropolis appears to have finally come to an end. I, for one, am-" Duck then appeared right next to Misty, practically swooning. "Cut! Can I help you?" Misty asked. "Oh, yes. It's me, Duck. Remember, your number one fan?" Misty nodded. "I was just wondering if you could maybe sign a few things." Duck added. "Ok fine, but make it quick." Misty said. Duck then pulled out Misty's fan club photo, her official cookbook, her commermative beach towel, and a beach ball. "How many more of these things do you have?!" Misty asked, frustrated. A truck then came up, dumping all of Misty's merchandise. So, the Loonatics decided to leave the two "lovebirds" alone.

Later that day, Jeanine set up her computer so that she and Anya could do their daily video chat. Anya appeared on the screen in her room with a million shopping bags. "Hey Jeanine! How are you doing?" Anya asked. "Great. It was a really busy day today, just ask Misty Breeze if you want proof. Anyway, what's with all the bags?" Jeanine asked. "Oh, Allison, Miley, Tiff and I went shopping today, and we got hundreds of outfits. We got designer dresses, shoes, jewelry, and everything in between." Jeanine then noticed a pink necklace around Anya's neck. Jeanine had never seen that kind of necklace in any Acmetropolis mall. "Where'd you get that?" Jeanine asked. "Well, we bought it at this thrift store for real cheap. It's amazing, don't you think?" Anya asked. "Yeah, it's cool. You cooled down since your headache?" Jeanine asked. "Yeah, I've been taking medicine for two weeks. Helps with the headaches." "Ok, where did the headaches come from anyway? Are you sick? Also, how did you pay for all those outfits?" Jeanine wondered. "Well..." Anya began to say. "Anya, why is there a dent in my car? Did you drive it without permission again?" Margot yelled from off camera. "Um, yeah, I better find somewhere to hide. See you, sis!" Anya said. "See you!" Jeanine said as she turned off the camera.

Notes: I'm sorry I've been away for so long. I've been really busy recently. Well, I hope this chapter managed to make up for it. I plan on doing my first original episode for the series right after Going Underground. I'm not gonna reveal what it is yet, though you'll find out what is it next chapter. The only thing I will tell you is that Jeanine is going to play a major part, and you're probably gonna be screaming! (Seriously, this one is a little creepy.) Anyway, note that Loonatics Unleashed DOES NOT belong to me. I only own OCs such as Jeanine, Anya and Margot. If you want me to come up with ideas, review this story (and maybe my others)! See you next chapter!
